3rd House Quidditch: GRYFFINDOR V HUFFLEPUFF: 10th-14th

(hufflepuff beater)

"Sorry, Jenn!" streams called when she missed a bludger and it smashed into Jenn's broom. She was glad that nobody had gotten hurt though, and now that Jenn was working with dancing she didn't need to be guarded the entire time, so streams zoomed off in search of a bludger to pound.

The Quaffle was in gryffie possession after jenn had scored, so streams aimed carefully, then took both hands off her broom so that she could hit the bludger more effectively. She hit it hard and it zoomed a little to the right of the gryffie chaser. It didn't make contact, however the chaser ducked and in doing so lost hold of the Quaffle, which began falling gently down, waiting for a chaser to grab it out of the air...::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Dancing saw the falling qwaffle and seized the opertunity and scooped it out of the air, She cradled the live ball in her arms, and headed off to Gryffy's goals for the second time in five minutes. She looked around for Jenn and realized she was alone on this one.

::Doing a badger crouch move, that sent her upside down the qwaffle between her body and her broom she gripped both hands with her broom and headed at the Keeper over turned. She let go of her broom gripping tight with her legs and caught the qwaffle again, she took aim and threw the ball at the right goal, hoping it would go through. However it began to do a muggle toliet roll circling the outer edgem she pulled up into a sitting position and watched the qwaffle fall through scoring another goal for Hufflepuff.

"Yes!" She punched the air

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza saw that Dani had gotten possesion of the quaffle, sighing she looked around for some of the gryffie chasers. Seeing that one of them was hovering near dani she hit the bludger as hard as she could toward dani. The bludger hit her in the stomach and she gasped in pain - she was winded. Lucilky she had also let go of the quaffle. The gryffie chaser caught the quaffle and sped of toward the goal. Just for good measure Aliza also hit a bludger toward the huffie keeper.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Glancing around, Jenn frowned a bit to herself as she noticed that Dancing had gotten hurt from a well aimed bludger. Before she could spring forward to check on her teammate as well as catch the fallen quaffle, another Gryffindor Chaser appeared out of nowhere and snatched the quaffle up before she could blink. Only seeing the back of the Gryffie, Jenn wasn’t exactly sure who had the quaffle. Not that it mattered; the only thing that mattered was that they were in possession of the quaffle. Her lips quirked into a slight smile, she couldn’t let them get away with that could she? With a pull of her broomstick, Jenn changed her course and quickly pursued the chaser.

“Come on,” She murmured to herself as she leaned low to gain speed. “Just a bit further.” Now being parallel with the other player, she still couldn’t see who it was as their head was tucked low by their arm. Quickly leaning to the left, Jenn was able to stretch her left arm out and attempted to knock the quaffle out of their arms with three hits. The first two tries were unsuccessful as she nearly flew into one of her fellow teammates from lack of attention. Gritting her teeth together, Jenn leaned forward again and aimed a punch directly at the middle of the quaffle. With a slight pop, the ball was free from the other player’s arms and started to fall downwards toward the ground.

COMMENTOR

"Amazing ladies and gentleman we just watched an excellent teamwork from Hufflepuff! It seems the situation's not so good to gryffindor though, let's see if they can rebounce as today's the last day of the match! Who will get the snitch???"

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina had just seen the quaffle fall and heard Raisty's comment. "Not true, last day isn't today", she said grinning. "And Gryffies are gonna win!"

With these words still on her lips she dived. She couldn't catch the quaffle herself though, so she tried to confuse the Hufflepuff chasers, by flying in fast circles around them and not letting the get to the quaffle. She succeeded to herd them up in the middle of the field and the quaffle had long fallen to the ground. She only hoped the Gryffindor chasers would show up soon, because she didn't know how much longer she could hold the Hufflepuff chasers in one place.

::streams scowled when she saw the havoc cris was creating, and decided it was time to keep her busy, and maybe even have her unable to play. With that in mind, streams zoomed upward where the bludger hovered just above all their heads, and she gently hit it until she was directly above cris. The she whacked it powerfully and it hurtled downwards straight at cris' head, gravity pulling it even faster. cris dodged at the last minute, but not fast enough and the bludger slammed into her right shoulder quite forcefully.::

COMMENTOR

"God lord. Your commentor must have been hexed with a confusing spell. Ouch that must have hurt. Streams pleasure for pain goes on an nasty quest..."

Gryffindor Seeker

"AWWWWWWWWWWWW" Cristina had just gotten a really forcefully hit bludger into her shoulder and it hurt terribly. She couldn't really keep on her broom anymore - she tried to fly a few more times around the Hufflepuff chasers, but then it just couldn't be helped, and she had to resign. "Sorry, guys," she said to her teammates, "it could have worked out but... eh, I had to imagine they were gonna target me..."

She glared at Streams. "You could have killed me!", she said as icily as she could, while passing her as she flew to the locker room, where madam Pomfrey was already waiting.

"Oh...I just wish I could be sorry," streams replied, smirking. "YOUR beaters broke my nose earlier, so..." she shrugged and grinned, wincing slightly as this stretched her facial muscles and reminded her of how badly her nose was hurt, then she zoomed off in search of other victims.

she flew over to a bludger but it zoomed away from her and she began chasing it up and down the pitch, dodging between players.::

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick was especially angry at the moment. His mum had tried to smash a bludger into him, and it came close enough to doing its damage. Performing a strengthening spell on his Firebolt, he saw a bludger coming his way with Streams trailing it. Flying directly into its path, he spun around and smacked it with his broomstick. He watched as the bludger soared right back at Streams, and watched as she dodged it just in time. "Sorry mum, but that was for earlier."

Rick turned around and sped off towards the quaffle, grabbing it in the middle of the pitch and speeding towards the hufflepuffs goal posts. Where those other chasers were at was beyond him, but he wasn't happy at the moment. He neared the goal and faked the keeper out, tossing the quaffle through the left hoop.


(sry guys, I know this sounds harsh for me, but I've been having a crappy day, and Streams you know I love ya, but that was low lol, at least it didn't hit you...this time muahahahaha)

Streams glared furiously at Rick when he sent the bludger whizzing in the opposite direction, then zoomed off to follow it. She had almost caught up with it and now she would have to chase it all over again...fortunately it slowed down as it hovered next a huffie chaser. Streams approached it from behind and with a sudden swing she aimed it right for Rick. She watched it hurtle through the air, heading straight for him. His back was facing the bludger so hopefully he wouldn't turn until it was too late. Streams tilted her head as she watched the bludger advance, and she absently polished her bat with the clean sleeve of her robe as she waited to see what would happen.::

(aww sorry about your day...mine was horrible too. I don't call that harsh though...whamming the bludger into my head would be harsh...not that you should even CONSIDER doing that, since you're a chaser and all and you should stay away from the bludgers. leave them all to me XD. that way I can keep smashing those bludgers at you and everyone else. :D)

(Gryffindor Chaser)

"Rick! Watch out!!!" cried WL as she spun around and caught the Quaffle as it was tossed back into play. She raised her broom up and accelerated fast so that she was spinning in short tight circles much like electrons around an atom. Slowly, she made her way to the goals and as the keeper got so unbelievably confused with her circles that he/she closed their eyes just to clear them for a second. That second was all it took...the Quaffle went soaring through the right hoop before the keeper even knew what happened!::

Gryffindor Seeker

Madam Pomfrey had just finished healing her shoulder.. at least for the moment, because it still hurt a bit. But the game was more important and she wasn't going to give it much thought. And she was left handed anyway....

She went out on the pitch just in time to see WL score.
"Yaaay! Go team!"

She smiled and flew around hi-fiving the Gryffie team just because she felt like that was the right thing to do, then went to her position high up, sensing that she might soon get lucky.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza sighed to herself, this game hadnt been as good as the last one, but they still had a chance to win it. She scoured the pitch for bludgers and when she found the both of them she decided to hit them streamers. Again. She had been the most active in this game and Aliza intended to pay her back for it. Quickly thinking of the best way to hit streamers without her being able to defend her self it came to her - she was a beater. where was a beater without their bat? Defenseless of course, and also unable to attack. Smilimg at her plan she waited until streamers' back was turned. The moment it was Aliza hit both bludgers at her - one at each shoulder. Streamers cried out in pain and Aliza was pretty sure she'd been badly hurt. On closer inspection she saw that her 'bludgering arm' had been dislocated and the other badly injured. That should take care of her. Now....for the other players.

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina looked at Streams and sighed ... Well, now she knows how it feels to have your shoulder injured...

But she didn't have a lot of time to think - she just saw something glisteting far away - was that the snitch? Hurrying towards the object, she slalomed between the players, confusing everybody with her "unidentified object"-look, due to her speed. She grinned looking at everybody's confused faces, but the second it took her to do this cost her the snitch. Arrrr! No way!

Moaning, she took up to circling around the pitch again...

Gryffindor Beater

A surge of hope shot through Aliza as Cris raced for the snitch. When she saw that Cris had lost it she decided to buckle up - she didnt know who was going to catch the snitch or when but she realised that until they did she would have to injure as many huffies as she could - she wasnt violent, violence was her job.

Unsure of who to hit the bludger at she saw streamers struggling on her broom - none of her team mates seemed to have noticed that she was in so much pain - they didnt notice either that her bat lay on the ground. An idea came to her, streamers wouldnt like her for it yet but at least it would make the other huffies notice their beater. She aimed a bludger at streams, unable to defend herself or control the broom the bludger hit her on the side of her head. She passed out and fell to the ground. At least now she could get some help.

Aliza then turned to the other hufflepuffs. Who to go for now? Then she saw it, the perfect target bobbing up and down with the quaffle.

(Gryffindor Keeper)

Amy watched as Cris raced after the snitch...but she didn't catch it. Amy sighed and glanced at her watch...only a little longer left.

She circled in between the goalposts, keeping one eye on the game, but glancing into the crowds.

She noticed several other Gryffindors in the spectators stands cheering them on, and she smiled at them.

She then manoevered her broom so that she was hovering in front of the middle goal, and watched to see what the Hufflepuff chasers would do.

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina grinned looking at Aliza. Not violent, eh?, she thought. But after all, it was for a good cause....

She was still flying around, when she saw something glisten again. "Hey, you annoying little ball!", she shouted and raced after it.
She managed to get quite close but then, the ball slipped between two players. "Out of the waaay!". Somehow, they were too slow, so she had to think up of a tactics to avoid crashing into them and she also had to keep following the snitch or whatever that was. She bounced off her broom, and only held herslef with one hand. This was just enough to brush off the robes of the two players. She reached out her free hand and suddenly felt something feathery and warm. "What the - ?" she exclaimed.

She landed to have a closer look at what she had caught - a fluffy golden bird that was looking at her with big, scared eyes. "No way! Am I really so unlucky today?", she mumbled for herself, "oh well.." She sighed and went to the locker room, where Madam Pomfrey was waiting.
"Another injury?"
"Nope," she answered, "just a lost bird. Can you please make sure it isn't hurt from my catch and can you than take it where it belongs to? - Thanks!"
With these words, she took off, hoping the next thing she caught would actually be the snitch.

(gryffindor keeper)

Amy grinned as she saw Cris catch what looked like a golden snidget. Perhaps that would have won them the game a few hundred years ago, but not now!

Amy was still hovering by her goals. She didn't dare leave them to venture further into the game or towards the crowds, just in case the Hufflepuff chasers decided to try and score.

If they did try, at least she would be ready.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber looked toward Aliza and gave the signal to do the Brooming Confusion move they had practiced. She tracked down a nearby bludger. She flew over to Jenn so that she was over top of her and waited for Aliza to get into position.::

"Ready?" ::she called.::

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza flew underneath jenn and smiled at amber. "Ready." Then she hit a bludger upwards at jenn while amber hit one downward. Jenn's broom flew out of control, spinning in the air.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber grinned as she watched Jenn go out of control and the quaffle fall freely. As she watched, she hoped that Jenn didn't get hurt and that a Gryffindor would pick up the quaffle.::

Gryffindor Beater

Unlike amber aliza didnt care about jenn's safety...at least not for this game. Seeing that jenn hadnt fallen off her broom she hit a bludger at her in anger - it hit her in the stomach.

(Gryff Chaser)

"Come on, Quaffle, over here, oh Quaffley!" Swift shouted out as she woke up into the game. "Sorry Aliza!!!" she yelled, sweeping past her captain with the red ball tucked safely under arm. "Far too tired to be playing Quidditch!"

As she neared the Huffle goalposts, Swift focused hard, her head slightly dazed from having just woken up. The right goalpost looked somewhat free, so it was towards there she headed. Drawing her arm back in a quick motion, she yelled out, "Heads up!!"

The Quaffle sailed through the left goalpost, narrowly missing the keeper's head as it was released from her hand.

"Oops......"

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Mel groaned as Gryffindor scored and flew over to streams

"Sorry, I zoned out there" She whispered, "But I am ready for some special moves if you are"

Grinning, she circled behind Streams and caught a rogue bludger easily, using her signature bludger tap and she motioned to streams

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick watched the match while searching for the quaffle, and what he saw he didn't like. Streams may be rough with the bludgers, but no one deserved to have both arms knocked around like that, and he could see that her bat arm was dislocated. Sighing(which sounded more like a growl than anything) he took off after the quaffle and captured it in mid-air flying at breakneck speeds towards the goal posts. Drawing his arm back, Rick tossed the quaffle through the middle hoop. The keeper didn't seem to have their head in the game right now.

Turning around he flew back to the middle of the pitch and watched for the quaffle once more, waiting for the Gryffindor seeker to catch the snitch and end the match.

(wow aliza, you really ARE trying to kill me, aren't you? XD)

::streams slowly came into consciousness, black stars swimming before her eyes. The first things she saw clearly was Madam Pomfrey's concerned face looming over her. She felt herself being levitated onto a stretcher and grimaced. "Where am I going?" she mumbled.

"To the hospital wing, of course," Madam Pomfrey replied tartly. "No more Quidditch for you today."

"But...but..." streams murmured, "I WANT to finish the game! It's almost over anyway...can you please just fix me up so that I can finish playing, and then I swear I'll report right to the hospital wing," she pleaded through a haze of pain.

"Alright," Madam Pomfrey said grumpily. "Craziest game ever invented, but if that's what you want..." she shook her head as she pulled out an assortment of potions and made streams drink them all. Then she healed streams' arm and shoulder with a few simple spells. "You're going to have one nasty headache that's just going to get worse," Madam Pomfrey warned her. "You can continue playing, but report to me immediately afterwards!"

streams grinned ecstatically and hugged Madam Pomfrey in thanks. Madam Pomfrey looked very surprised but then sort of half-smiled and walked away.

streams' head didn't hurt as badly as the nurse had said it would, but then everyone knew she was prone to exaggerate that sort of thing. Her arms were working perfectly fine, and Professor Sprout hurried over to her with her broom and bat.

streams mounted the broom and was off in the air in seconds, to wild cheering of the hufflepuff supporters. Hefting her bat expertly between her hands, she flew off in search of a bludger.

She found both of them hovering near a huffie chaser, and Mel was nearby as well since she had one of them under control. She winked at Mel, and nodded towards Aliza and Cris. Using an odd sort of swing the huffies referred to as the Badger Twist, she whacked the bludger at Aliza and watched with satisfaction as it connected painfully with her ribs. She turned to see if Mel had done her part to send the remaining bludger at Cris.::

::Dancing who regained her breath from Aliza's blow began to circle the pitch again, she was determined to get another goal if it killed her, just for that blow to the stomache.

::She spoted her Brother making a score, and she chased down the live ball. She caught it and zipped off toward the Gryffindor's goals. She saw an oncoming bludger most likely aimed at her from Aliza, and swerved over it. She threw the ball at the left hoop and hoped it went through

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Jenn gasped as she watched Streams fall to the ground. Being on the other side of the field, she wasn’t able to help in time as everything seemed to happen at once. Suddenly she was hit by bludgers from both angles and nearly fell off her broomstick. Cursing under her breath, she flung out her arms and was able to steady herself, yet still scraping her arm in the process.

Swinging her broom forward, Jenn caught the quaffle in the air and gave Dancing a slight nod. As she looped a few players, she flew toward the Ravenclaw goal posts. Tossing the ball lightly in the air, she made a move to toss it straight in the right hoop. Yet as she swung her hand tack to toss it, Jenn instead let go of the quaffle and let it fly straight into Dancing’s arms for a successful back hand pass.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Dancing let the ball fall in front of her and dribbled it up and down on her knee, the letting it fall downwards a bit she kicked it not at the goals but at Jenn.

Reaching her left hand out, Jenn quickly caught the quaffle that Dancing passed her and ducked underneath the left hoop. Suddenly jerking her broomstick to the right, she looped around the hoops and scored a goal in the hoop before the keeper noticed where she was headed.
