The posts can begin on Thursday 6th November
and will end on Monday 10th November - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Weather: It's unseasonably warm.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the main forum for more info.

(Gryffindor Chaser)

As the ringing noise grew in volume Erika regretted the choice in tone when school shopping. Off track she walked down the stairs stumbling in her pajamas. A kind second year turned Erika's body around and back up the twisting stairs to the dorms. Muttering she thanked her and rubbed her eyes.

On the floor next to Witch Weekly laid the latest Gryffindor Uniform. She took a moment picking up the neatly stitched cloth and took a whiff, shuddering she suddenly felt alive. Looking around she searched for her pads and threw them on. The constant shouts from the Great Hall echoed through the castle's wide stairway. Trying to stay on her feet as the stairs moved she made it to the bottom.

The sun greeted Erika as she crossed the wooden bridge to the large pitch. Perched on the gates laid her trusted Comet 2-50, yet to age and pass away. This good luck to her father, the constant battle of money a scary thought when it came to Quidditch.

Smiling she jumped on her broom and kicked into the air. Some how Erika felt confident in her team work and scoring but she needed more strategy. During which Erika laid her head on her arms balancing no the broom brainstorming.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Polly wandered down to the Ravenclaw changing rooms a brilliant idea springing to her mind. As she fidled with her new sonic screwdriver. She was gonna play this game Doctor who style. Reaching the changing rooms she pulled her sonic screwdriver from her pocket and placed it too the door as if to unlock it. Opening it up she acted cool fluffing her hair up.

Entering the changing rooms Polly sulked as she noticed that none of her fellow team mates had turned up get. Quickly changing into her clothes she grabbed the back of her quidditch robe and changed her name to 'Delete.'

Then she quickly ran to where the doors were to enter onto the stadium and cast a spell to make them look the the tardis doors. Crossing her finger she hoped it didn't go horribly wrong. From outside there could be heard a faint murmuring of all the people craning there necks to look at what had just come from the door.

Smiling to herself Polly fished into her bag and placed a small Cyber man mask on. Giggling at her reflection Polly decided she was going to do something a little different this time. Instead of just walking onto the pitch Polly was going to fly onto the pitch.

Placing a small stereo near the entrance to the pitch she put the Doctor who music on full blast and made sure that it was repeated. Grabbing hold of her broom she tapped it once to make it go Silver. Sitting on the floor Polly kicked of from the floor and crashed through the doors to the doctor who music to hear the crowd chear and laugh and her arrival. Looking up people were standing up everywhere trying to get a look at her. Because of all the attention Polly began to fly across the pitch as fast as she could waving too people as she went past. This should really get the crowd hyped up thought Polly.

As she zoomed round she hoped the others would notice her note about doing this Doctor Who themed though it didn't really matter if they didn't.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

Relishing in the warmth of the day, Elana skipped down to the pitch, just a teensy bit late. For her, this was practically being promptly on time. Hearing a familiar theme song, she whistled along. In their locker room, she changed into her royal blue Quidditch robes, and was surprised to realize that - for once - she might be warm while playing! She laced up her flashy new bronze tennis shoes (courtesy of back-to-school shopping), strapped on her guards, twisted her hair back into a long braid, grabbed her bat and broom, and headed back outside. Looking up at the players already high in the bright blue sky, Elana swung a leg over her broom and kicked off of the grass to join the other Ravenclaw.

When she drew closer, she pulled back on her broom to come to a sudden halt, green eyes wide in terror. CYBERMEN! she screamed inwardly, not having the breath to yell. Where was the Doctor?! A few moments later, she rationalized that it couldn't really be a Cyberman, for why would one be playing Quidditch? She looked up a mental list of their players to try and figure out who it could be, for she couldn't tell who it was under what had to be a mask. Whoever it was didn't have a bat, and wasn't hovering at the goal posts...and she knew of only one other player that liked Doctor Who.

"Polly?" she asked, flying over to her. Seeing that it was her, Elana broke out into a grin. "Freaked me out a bit there, but great costume idea!"

{Ravenclaw Keeper}

Rigby shook out her long hair before re-braiding it. The day was hot, despite the fact that it was the beginning of November. She longed for the cool breezes of fall, but realized that the weather would soon enough be cold and icy. Rolling her sleeves up as far as they would go, Rigby grabbed her broom and headed down the tunnel and towards the pitch.

Once she was airborne Rigby headed straight towards her goal posts. She took a few swigs of her water bottle, knowing that sooner or later she would be sweating. A dehydrated keeper was an ineffective one as well. Rigby dug in her pockets, pulling out a small bar of Kit Kats. It was one of the many remaining candy bars left over from trick or treating. She also had a minature Snickers in her pocket but she only planned on eating it if she became tired.

Full of sweets and water, Rigby stretched like a contented kitten. Then she began long lazy loops around her goal hoops, ready for the game action to begin.

(Referee)

Amy flew onto the pitch, the crate of balls under her arm.

She released the bludgers and the snitch, and then tossed the quaffle into the air.

"Let the game begin!"

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Erika took a deep breath and scanned the skies as Amy flew in. At the sight of battle Erika could hear the crack off Bludgers set free into the sky looking for a victim of terrorism. The round leather darts soon to be thrown by an opponent dressed in blues and silvers.

'Come on girl; don’t let these birds bring you down. Leave them to sing and win the game! Who cares if no one is here to help your one tough cookie!'

Erika shuddered and tucked the Quaffle under her arm, a move known as the Lion's Prowl. Saving her time, the move let her think to herself and search for others despite the persuasion from her own thoughts. Though they were convincing Erika felt weak and alone, abandoned in the previous match and left to deal with a much bigger cookie than her-self on the opposing force.

The sun shinned down and despite the month the air was warm and refreshing. Being so high in the air gusts of wind made it seem cooler. White puffy clouds of white framed the sky and everyone in part was clear in sight. Rigby hovered the rings, watching every move waiting for her peice of action. Erika hesitated and stood still.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim woke up from her dream, angry. She knew she shouldn't have read right before going to bed. She had just recently started reading Twilight, and last night she dreamt about Bella and Edward. Edward had just saved Bella's life, and he wouldn't tell her how he had done it. Kim always got waaay into the books she read.

Shaking her head, to get rid of those thoughts, Kim remembered why she had to wake up on a Saturday at this time....Quidditch! Pulling on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, Kim ran down the stairs, peeking at a few figures in the air already.

SHe rushed into the locker rooms and threw on her shoes. It was warm out, and Kim was glad she was wearing shorts under her robes. She grabbed her broom, wishing she could be reading, and flew into the air.
