The Black Lake

Shadow looked at Dorothy, vaguely surprised.
"Dorothy? Studying? Have I missed something here?"

"I know. Here, 'private knowledge' seems to be 'public knowledge'. Sometimes it can get annoying, I suppose." Shadow crossed her legs in a lotus position and hovered a few feet in the air.

"hmm yeah, it's weird for me, i'm not used to being so social." she looked over to notice shadow floating a few feet off the ground. she wondered if it took a lot of concentration. "i wish i could to that." she thought out loud, not meaning to in case it did disturb shadows ability.

Shadow fell out of the air.
"This is getting ridiculus!" She muttered to herself, trying again. "Don't worry, I'm not used to being social either." Shadow said to Torren.

Shadow smiled sympathetically.
"I'd prefer that to a past that decides to check up on me all the time." Shadow felt the wind as well. Pushing her violet hair out of her eyes, she spoke again. "That didn't seem natural..."

Shadow shook her head.
"I don't think so, I didn't sense anything..." Shadow thought about her past, but quickly shut out those thoughts.

Shadow had fallen out of the air again at the crack. Putting a hand to her head, she mentally scanned the grounds.
"I can't pick up any traces... I know that we can't apparate, and teleportation is silent..." Shadow was completely stumped.

"I didn't sense a house elf. Maybe a branch broke or something..." Shadow said. She muttered something and flew into the tree, looking around.

Shadow leapt down from the tree, transforming into her soul self form and bounding after the wolf. She skidded to a halt in front of it, growling. The other wolf raised its hackles, baring its teeth before leaping for the black wolf. Shadow responded, aiming for the white wolf's neck.

Shadow howled as the white wolf sunk its teeth into her foreleg, but didn't give up. She grabbed the other wolf's neck, holding it there until the white one stopped struggling.

Shadow dropped the other wolf. Walking back over, she changed back to human form. The white wolf followed her.
"I'm not sure, but I can ask."

Shadow changed back into a wolf and 'talked' to it. The two wolfs sat down, deep in conversation.

Shadow bowed her head to the other wolf before changing back to her human form.
"Transk was sent here to see you, as there is something wrong. Apparently, a wolf is another omen, but a white one is a good omen, I've never seen a white one before." Shadow sat down with the white wolf beside her.

Shadow sensed the confusion.
"Apparently, there is a balance between the good omens and the bad omens. Transk was here to show that what was going wrong, will now sort itself out."

Transk looked at Shadow, howling softly.
"I see, Transk says that omens don't tend to walk in the real world, but he wishes to stay."

Shadow nodded.
"That's what he wants to do, apparently."

"well, i don;t see why he couldn't." torren looked at transk, "he could stay at the school with us."

Shadow nodded.
"I don't foresee a problem." She changed into a wolf and 'talked' to Transk.

Wolf-Shadow looked up at Torren, sniffing the air. She sent Torren a telepathic message, You are correct.

Wolf-Shadow looked vaguely surprised. "I don't know, but still. In my dimension, this can happen, only it mean that dark times were soon to come..." Shadow stopped suddenly, eyes wide.

Shadow bowed her head, but turned to talk to Transk.

Shadow quickly changed back, and put one hand on Torren's temples. She tried to stop what ever was happening.

Shadow turned back into a wolf and conversed quickly with Transk. She changed back.
"Transk says that he made sure that the interdimensional gates were closed before he showed himself, so the cat shouldn't be able to get through."

Shadow put a hand on her friend's shoulder.
"At least for now, we can forget about him."

Shadow rolled her eyes, scratching Transk behind the ear.
