Let the match begin!

Weather: The snow seems to have let up...for now. The cold is as present as ever, and the shortening days mean it gets dark quickly.

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin walked slowly to the Quidditch pitch. This season wasn't being very good for Slytherin.

"More than half of the games were played and only one victory. And always for so few points. Curse them, curse them all!"

He opened the Slytherin locker room door. Changed for his special Slytherin Quidditch robes, dark green, embroided with silver strings, long coat. He put his hood grabbed his broom and left the empty room.

"Desert. First. Alone. Such sweet words. And the hisotry of my life."

As we walked through the pitch Raistlin was very absorved in his own thoughts no listenign to the cheerings and booing from the stands. He mounted his broom and darted to the Slytherin goal posts.

"Let's see how this turns out, this could be a decisive game, I just hope it all turns out as planned, so many things can go wrong, the plan is too risky but at this point I have no choice but to risk it."

He closed his eyes for a moments and then opened them and screamed

"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

The Slytherin supporters shouted with him.

Katherine walked out onto the pitch behind Raistlin. She noticed the weather was getting better, and she thought the conditions were as good as anyone could ever ask for. However, there was still that nervous feeling deep inside her stomache. It was her first game after all.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Cris was casually walking along the path leading to the Quidditch pitch, enjoying the sounds of the snow cracking under her steps and of the cheers that passing people threw at her. They hadn't played Slytherin in a long time, but it was bound to be a good game.. at least she hoped so. Getting to the locker rooms, she changed with no hurry, carefully dressing up in her warm clothes and not forgetting her gloves, which were vital to her. Smiling and humming a latin song she had to sing for choir practise, she grabbed her broom and went out.

She was pleased to find that the visibility was much better than it had been last time and spotted Rai - well, she didn't need much of an eyesight for that, as he was screaming from the top of his lungs, and the Slytherin fans were screaming with him. She shook her head. What was the boy up to? The game hadn't even started, after all....

Then she turned her head and saw Kathrine. She went ovr and hugged her. "Lookin' nervous," she added grinning. "Don't worry, it's going to be be okay! Just watch out for the bludgers and .. have fun!". Cris smiled and then added in a slightly more worried tone, ".. and if something does happen... well, I'll spot you and take you to Madam Pomfrey... it's not like the snitch was present each sigle second of the game.". She gave her a strong pat on the back, mounted her broom and pushed herself up, calling at Katherine to be do the same.

Raistlin stopped shouting and glanced at the Gryffindor Seeker. The look in his eyes was pure evil, if he could he could have killed, he was now too much into it, no friends or acquaintances would have his mercy. His bloody instincts were at its peak!

"You filthy Lion! I hope a blizzard come and gets you or a bludger crashes you in two!"

The daylight was quickly dissapearing, soon it'd be night. Raistlin stood proudly in his broom waiting for people to get in the field.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June flew up into the air, her robes swirling around her and her hair tied up, as usual, with her ‘Gryffie’ clip. She shivered and turned slowly in the air. Thankfully, the snow had stopped coming down, and visibility was much improved. Sadly, the sun seemed to be going down, and June felt goosebumps crawling up her arms as a chilling breeze hit her full in the face. June quickly turned and grinned at the sight of Cris. She flew towards her sis and noticed that two Slytherins were in the air as well, Katherine and Rai.

"You filthy Lion! I hope a blizzard come and gets you or a bludger crashes you in two!"

When she reached her friend, June heard a shout. She turned in its direction and grinned at Rai. When he got into a game, he GOT into a game. Now, June was certain that this game would be exciting. “I HOPE THAT HAPPENS TO YOU RAI!” June shouted back playfully, not even sure that he could hear her. She turned to Cris and smiled saying, “Hi! Do you know where everyone else is?”

A new Gryffindor was in the air. The Co-captain June.

"Oh it won't m'dear, it won't."

he said in a lower voice in retort to what she had said.

Raistlin looked back at the goalposts, measuring the distance between them and the reflections the sunsetting was making on them.

"Hmm... this game better start soon if we want to get use of this light..."

(Gryffindor Seeker)

"You filthy Lion! I hope a blizzard come and gets you or a bludger crashes you in two!", Cris heard a well-known voice shout. "Oh really?", she muttered raising her eyebrows. She was nevertheless quite worried about the evil look in his eyes - it reminded her of a certain evil kid in a movie that Rai was once excited about. She also heard June's answer. "Don't worry about him, it's ok. Normal-ish, you know.", she said and finally grinned.
“Hi! Do you know where everyone else is?”, June continued. "Hiya," Cris answered ".. and I have no idea. Must be asleep or so... maybe we should send them an owl?". ("No animals on the quidditch pitch!", she heard Madam Hooch shout. She must have overheard her.)

"Oh well... time for a warm-up!", she concluded shrugging. She pointed towards the far end of the pitch and suggested, "First one there gets to send a bludger to the Slytherins! ... oh wait, I can't... I think you'll have to send mine for me...". She looked grinned playfully, counted, "3..2..1..GO" and dashed off.

Katherine was warming up, flying through the air. That nervous feeling seemed to go away, and she felt like home on the broom. 'You filthy Lion! I hope a blizzard come and gets you or a bludger crashes you in two!". She heard Rai say that. "Nice one" she thought. She flew over twards Rai, and looked at him. "You think this game will go well?" she asked. She sure hoped so.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie made her way slowly down to the pitch. After the last game with Ravenclaw, her motivation level to be there early had serioulsy declined. As she made her way into the locker room missing robes and brooms told Katie she was not the only one sacrificing her weekend to be here. As she pulled on her robes and pulled back her hair in the customary french braids she checked the time. The game was about to begin. Maybe she should hurry it up.

As she started to think of being in the air again she gained the spring in her step back. She pulled on her gloves and Gryffie-scarf determind not to let the cold get the better of her. As she pushed open the door to the pitch she wasreleived to see that there was no snow. However, Katie did notice that there were quite alot of red and green dots already in the air. With a smile and a slight shiver she mounted her broom and took off.

She joined her teammates in the air and gave them each a hug in turn. Hopefully the game would start soon.

Becca sighed angerily at herself. Why was she always so late?!? Every game she ended up coming out after all the rest of her team. She sighed and pulled on her robes. At the previous game, she hadn't done much of anything. She pretty much showed up and watched. This game, however, she was deteremined to do much, much more than that. Of course, being late wasn't the greatest start. But Becca vowed for that not to be an omen for the rest of the game. She hurridly grabbed her broom and raced outside.

Becca kicked off quickly and looked around. Yep, she was pretty late. The game would be starting anytime now.The snow wasn't blowing to hard, (thank God,) but the icy weather was still way too chilly for her liking. She sighed and could see her warm breath create one of those puffs of fog. She shivered and wondered when the game would begin. Becca knew that as soon as started to get moving, she would warm up slightly.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June laughed and at Cris’s countdown, flattened herself on her broom, clutched her bat with one hand and her broom with the other, and BLAST OFF! The wind whipped loose strands of her hair behind her, and June narrowed her eyes, intent on the end of the pitch. She flew faster and faster, trying to beat Cris, but found that she was flying neck and neck with her friend. The cold air was chapping her lips and June regretted that she hadn’t brought her lipgloss with her. It didn’t dry out as quickly as her chapstick. Finally, June reached the other side of the Pitch and smiled at Cris as she braked. “That was fun,” she said. Sure, she hadn’t won, but speed was more essential in a Seeker than a Beater.

Suddenly, June’s eyes opened wide as someone hugged her. She turned around and grinned. “Katie!!!” she said and hugged her back. Then, June saw Becca, flying through the air. “Becca!” she shouted gesturing to her friend. Most of the Gryffindor players were now in the air, and June’s spirits were rising, after getting boosted by the race.

Gryffindor Chaser and Co-Captain

Aliza hurried on to the pitch, desperate to be there early after completely forgetting about the last match. She felt immense shame any time she thought of it and so was determined to prove herself once again.

As she stepped out of the changing rooms and on to her broom she surveyed the weather. It was bound to be getting dark soon but at least the snow had let up. Sure, it would make them play better but it would probably decrease the amount of fun she had when she played. When it snowed she was in her element and loved every minute of it.

She did a quick lap of the pitch, greeting her team members and scowling at the Slytherins. It seemed she had a lot of built up tension and house pride from the game she had missed - she didn't realise that quidditch was so good for her!

While continuing to circle the pitch she waited eagerly for the game to start...

Katherine didnt wait too long for Rai to answer. She started praticing the moves she would need to use. Well, all but the special ones. She would hide those for later on in the game. Katherine did three laps around the pitch, diving up and down, spinning, and making sharp turns. After all of it, she was feeling more confident in her abilities to help win the game.

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Becca smiled and waved happily at June. She looked around some more and tried her best to get used to the cold weather. During this time of year, she usually liked to stay inside the castle...or do something where she could easily keep warm. She bounced on her broom, making sure that she wasn't sliding. It would be terrible she fell off of her broom and game hadn't even started yet. But then again that would be something that would, of course, only happen to Becca.

She sighed and shivered again. This is useless. "I'm gunna try to keep warm!" she shouted over to June before she made her broom turn around and race to one end of the Quidditch Pitch and back again. She sighed and kept doing this until she got semi warm. Becca returned to her spot where she had been hovering. She rubbed her arms with her gloved hands and shivered again. "It's impossible!" She complained, loudly enough that people would here her, but not in that annoying whiney voice that she normally had.

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin was painfully impatient and the Gryffindor seem to be almost all there by now.

"Move you slugs! Let's start this! I don't care if people are missing, I want blood!"

He looked at Kathrine, he was hoping the girl would be up to the task. Looking at hooops again Raistlin remembered a move which would refrain his impatience a little bit.

Swerving around the hoops at great speed, Raistlin was nothing more than a dark blurr. That was called the Double Eight Loop defense.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Cris braked, at level with Juney. "That was one excellent race!", she said grinning broadly and suddenly feeling warmed up and also much more alert. "Oh! and .. they're yours.", she said, signifcantly looking from June's bat to the Slytherin's and back. "Ooooh, fuuuun!", she added and then her eyes suddenly lit up, as she notices Katie, Becca and Aliza had arrived. "People!", she screamed and hugged each of the newcomers in turn, after she had also gotten a hug from Katie.

Then she turned around to look at Katherine. "Oh, I hadn't noticed she was a Seeker the first time I've seen her... but judging by her warm-up, that's what she is, huh?", Cris mused, more to herself. As she felt like showing off a bit and also, who knows, tricking Katherine into showing some of her more interesting moves, she shouted something about going to train a bit more to her teammates and flew towards Katherine.

By balancing her broom sideways alternatively she managed to fly in a way she had probably never done before - a kind of a loop, but she was flying forward nevertheless. She didn't have the courage to fly with her head upside-down, yet, though, she needed more speed for that, which was difficult to obtain when you basically had to turn the whole time. Biting her lip, she decided to risk it - after all, she was already close to Katherine and what she wanted was to fly upside-down over her. Almost there - just a bit - annnd accelerate!

"WEEEEEEE!", Cris screamed as she looked at Katherine from way up high over her head. "HELLOOOO!", she greeted her grinning, then prepared to fly normally again and slowed down. While braking she thought slightly annoyed about herself, "Why on earth am I showing the opposite team's Seeker such great moves?". She found no other answer other than that, that she simply wanted to have fun and try some moves. After all, if the Slytherins weren't there in decent numbers, so that they could at least get the game started somehow, it would get boring and boredom was the one thing she hated most in life.

She came to a halt and turned around to face Katherine. "Wanna compete a bit with some cool moves? Or .. wanna race or anything?"

Then her attention was caught by some kind of blur at the Slytherin goalhoops and sighed, "Oh, so I'm not the only one who's getting impatient.. good to know."

(Slytherin Beater)

Slightly shaking, but none the less confident Kaylee walked out onto the Quidditch Pitch.

Looking around she noticed that there were quiet a few players on the field, only two of them being from Slytherin.

"There's no better time than the present." She mumbled to herself while mounting her broom and kicking off.

Seeing Katherine on the field instantly calmed Kaylee's nerves. Her first instinct was to fly over and say hello, but seeing that Katherine looked like she was trying to warm up she decided not to bother her.

Noticing Raistlin flying around the hoops quickly, Kaylee figured he was either warming up or being board, she couldn't decide which.

"I know I should probably let him know that I'm here, but I don't want to interrupt if he's doing something to ready himself." She mumbled quietly to herself. She then decided that it'd probably be better to let him know that she was here once he'd finished.

I guess I'd better warm up too, I don't want to mess up my first game by not stretching properly. Kaylee thought to herself as she started to swing the bat in every direction.

(Slytherin Beater)

Striding out to the pitch, Rocky looked up into the air, grinning at Rai, Katherine, and Kaylee. Throwing his broom out in front of him, he jumps into the air, landing on his broomstick with both steel-toed boots, surfing up to the Slytherin goals with the cockiness and creativity that he has been so wont to display.

"What's up, Rai? You look like you need a little more fun in your life!" Rocky cried out to the blur that was his head of house.

Swooping up over the goalposts, Rocky begins to hover, watching intently for those beautiful black orbs of gleefully painful doom that were his job, not to mention his fun, to play with. Shrugging his shoulders to seat his uniform a bit better, he pulls his gauntlets tighter against his skin, wincing slightly at how cold the air had made the metal. Well, better cold metal than broken bones, I always think.

Watching Katherine race around the field, Rocky thinks back to the time he played as Seeker. Grinning impudently once again, he yells out to her, "Hope you're ready, 'cause I found Seeker to be boring!"

Getting rather impatient, Rocky leaps into the air, backflipping to land astride his broom. Grunting at the impact, he flies down to where Kaylee was warming up her batting arm, carefully making sure to fly over her head.

"Hiya!" he brightly exclaimed. "Sorry I'm late, but with Kitty being pregnant and all.... You get the picture, right?"

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin stopped his crazy going around the hoops thingy. Another two Slytherin players had arrived. Rockheart now a veteran in quidditch games and Kaylee, the second newbie in the Slytherin quidditch team.

"Let's hope the fresh blood give slytherin a boost."

Looking to his team Raistlin realised something

"Slytherin become a defense team, Keeper, beaters. Well the other team can't score if we defend and with the seeker, who knows, one might actually win."

Directing his attention to the Gryffindors Raistlin couldn't help himself

"So, little cats, Is this enough or what? Are you going to mur or roar?"

Raistlin steadied himself in his broom, in the front fo the hoops.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June couldn't keep from laughing as Cris flew over the Slytherin Seeker. It was such a funny sight, someone flying sideways and then upside down! It was brave of Cris to try that move... June knew that she would probably have botched it. Another Slytherin flew into the air and June smiled when she recognized Rocky. She flew towards him and asked, "How's Kitty doing?" She wondered whether her 2nd HE Mum would be here for the game, what with her condition and all...

"So, little cats, Is this enough or what? Are you going to mur or roar?"

"Do you need to ask Rai?" June said. "Of course we'll roar, and pounce while we're at it!"

(Gryffindor Beater)

Izzy groaned. Oh my word, she was so late. She had been forced into dentention to do her homework, but finally she was out. Izzy grabbed her quidditich robes and ran down to the pitch.

Izzy hopped on her broom with bat in hand. She drifted up into the air. "It felt so good to actually be back in the air again," she thought. As she stretched and woke up a bit, Izzy thought she heard June and Rai teasing each other.
"Well I am certainly not getting into that," she said as she rolled her eyes.
Izzy practiced a few circles and such, keeping an eye out for bludgers. "At least, the game was not started without me," she thought, " But when is the game going to start?"

(Slytherin Keeper and Captain)

Raistlin was getting furious with the lack of activity from both teams. He decided to show off for the crowd a little bit.

"Wanna some me sugar ya'lllllllllllll??????????????"

Holding the broom horizontally with one hand and one foot curled around the handle, Raistlin left the rest of the limbs fell stretched and a perfect StarFish and Stick Move. He zoomed around the hoops shouting

"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

The Slytherin crowd once again shouted along with him. Raistlin came to a halt in front of the hoops. When the crowd settled down again he said:

"Kitties, kitties, are you read to curl in a ball and go lick your wounds back in your house?"

Raistlin had decided if he wasnt scoring or winning games he0d at least having fun teasing the other team.

(Slytherin Beater)

When Kaylee was finished warming up her swinging arm she looked up to see Rocky hovering right above her, and almost fell of her broom.

"Heya Rocky! How is kitty doing, everything is well I hope?" She said, now flying up to the same level as Rocky.

Noticing the Slytherin crowed getting rilled up, Kaylee looked back to see Raistlin doing more tricks on his broom.

She thought to herself, I'd like to see someone on the Gryffindor team pull a trick off better than that. She couldn't help but laugh out loud at her thought.

"Hey Rastlin, do you think the game is going to start any time soon? I'm ready to start hitting some bludgers and get moving out here, before I freeze to death."

(Slytherin Beater)

"Heya Rocky! How is kitty doing, everything is well I hope?" Grinning like a goofball at the question, Rocky swung down off his broom, hanging by his hands.

"Not too shabby, Kaylee. Kitty's fine, though she's just gotten sick. So, is this game even going to start, or are we going to sit around all day and look impotent in our Quidditch livery?"

Whipping his legs forward, he pulls up with his arms, sliding his stomach around on his broomstick to throw one leg over to regain his seated position. Standing up on his broomstick once again, Rocky begins to see how fast he can go while surfing through the air on his broom. He raced to and fro around the pitch, pulling up beside Juney to quickly kiss her on the cheek.

"Hiya, dearie, Kitty sends her love! I'm getting bored with this particular game."

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June sighed and nodded her agreement saying, "I wonder when it'll start... it's nice that we got a long warm-up in, but I want to play!" Suddenly, June's eyes widened and she gasped as she saw a bludger flying right towards Rocky's head from behind. Had the game started and she just hadn't noticed?! June raced around the Slytherin Beater and raised her bat. With a loud Slam!, she knocked it away from him. If the bludger had hit Rocky, then who knows at what angle it could have rebounded at? June, never that good at math, didn't want to worry over angles at the moment. Watching the bludger hurtle away, June laughed and said, "Well, I've got to go now... maybe this game won't be as boring after all!"

With that, June turned tail and raced after the bludger. She was almost sure that Rocky would chase after her since the bludger hadn't gotten that far yet... and June knew that she couldn't let the bludger get into Slytherin hands. She grimaced against the cold as she neared the bludger. June extended her bat, trying to aim it straight ahead of her so it wouldn't get torn away from the wind.

Finally, it seemed that maybe her bat would reach it. WHAM! June turned her broom and smiled evilly as her bat hit the bludger. She watched the bludger's path for a moment, heading straight towards Rai, before turning back towards Rocky and grinning cheekily. "Well, I couldn't let it hit you, could I?" she shouted towards him.

Gryffindor Chaser

Glad that the game had finally started Aliza sped after the quaffle. She was just a red blur in the air, she was going that fast. (xD) As she reached the quaffle she noticed a bludger flying at her. Screaming (for added drama) she turned herself upside down on the broom - performing an excellent Sloth Grip Roll - and the bludger just brushed the top of her broom. She righted herself when she heard the whoosh of the bludger going past and looked around. The quaffle had gone. But where was it? She saw the red ball falling to the ground and turning her broom so it was almost vertical she sped downwards...

Raistlin didn't had time to asnwer kaylee because as soon as he heard the typical sound of the wooden bat against the bludger he pulled himself together in his broom.

"IT'S FUN TIME!"

No soon had he said those words and the a whisteling bludger was heading towards him

"Don't they all love me?????????"

he said in a cheering blood-seeking mood. He looked at bludger and said:

"C'mon sweety, closer. Closer...Bast..."

Raistlin didnt finished the sentence as he had to perform a quick Sloth Grip Roll as the bludger sped incredibly fast the last few meters as if it had heard what he said.

Katherine was floating in the air, watching the game for a few moments. She always did this. She saw Rai empoly an excellent sloth grip roll to avoid a bludger. Then, she saw it. A glint of gold, right where the bludger had just been. She started for it, and all of the sudden, out of nowhere, came a bludger,. It just missed her ear!
"I have got to be more careful" Katherine said out loud.
She had lost sight of the snitch in that small second.

(Slytherin Beater)

When the bludgers first started flying Kaylee just sat there awestruck, watching blankly as they almost took out 3 of her teammates in less than a minutes time.

Enough of this, lets try and send some of these towards the other end of the field. Kaylee thought to herself as she sped off towards the bludger that almost just took Katherine's head off.

Pulling herself in almost flat on her broom she sped towards the bludger, Just a little faster and I'll be able to hit it, as she thought it she pulled herself even closer to the broom.

Without even the slightest hesitation she swung, *WHAM* she had hit the bludger. Sending it flying back towards the other end of the field.

(Gryffindor Beater)

Izzy mind was wandering going through sunny meadows and happy places, she was trying to take her mind off of this freezing cold day. Since the game hadn't started there was nothing to really take her mind off of the chill factor. Suddenly, she heard the sweet, sweet sound of a bludger cracking against a bat. Izzy snapped around so tightly on her broom that she just about fell off. Izzy turned around quickly enough to see a Raistilin dodge a bludger that seemed to be coming from where June was.

"Well, better go find the bludger, never know when you will need one," Izzy said as she grinned slightly.

Izzy sped off towards the direction of where she had last seen the bludger, hoping to snag it again.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June heard the crack of a bludger and automatically, she turned her head this way and that, searching for the source of the sound, knowing that it hadn’t been her. She shivered and out of the corner of her eye, spotted a blur of green and a blur of black, flying away from the green. June turned and smiled as she saw a bludger flying towards the opposite side of the pitch. She melded herself to her broomstick, kept her bat close to her body, and hoped that such a position, albeit a bit uncomfortable, would make her fly faster. June narrowed her eyes and blinked rapidly as the wind’s force attacked. She was zeroed in upon the bludger… come on…

It was heading towards the Gryffindor goal posts, and with a more exact destination in mind, June’s broom gave an unprecedented burst of speed, propelling her towards the darting black ball. June circled the bludger five times, using her bat to keep it within the confines of the circle as she looped it, and, as she slowed down, tapped it, keeping it under her control until her circling stopped.

June breathed a sigh of relief as the bludger remained within her grasp and immediately changed course, heading back towards the Slytherin side of the field. She waved to Izzy who was speeding off after another bludger, and a glint appeared in her eyes as she focused on her goal. June neared the scoring area and she drew her bat and arm back. Before the bludger could escape its confines to the freedom of the air, June brought her bat out in front of her with a WHAM!, hitting the bludger… not towards Rai, as last time, but at the Slytherin goal posts. She hid a smile as the bludger hit the center post, rebounded just as planned, and headed towards Rai’s back.

Kaylee had been watched the bludger head towards the Gryffindor goal post when suddenly June stopped it.

I don't know for sure, but I have a good idea where this bludger is going to be sent. Kaylee thought to herself, buckling down on her broom once again heading towards the Slytherin end of the field.

WHAM! Kaylee heard and looked to see the bludger fly past her, heading not quite where she expected, but towards the Slytherin goal posts non the less. She didn't change her movement in the slightest, she stayed flat on her broom trying to pick up as much speed as possible.

Kaylee reached the goal posts almost at the same time as the bludger, seeing that it was now headed straight for her Capitan's back she knew that she had to think quickly.

As soon as the bludger came within hitting distance *WHAM* she had made it, just before it collided with Raistlin, sending it zooming at an angle down the field.

"I guess I'd better go after that now." She mumbled to herself, once again chasing down the bludger.

June raised her eyebrows, somewhat incredulous. How had the Slytherin Beater not slammed into Rai herself, when trying to get the bludger when it was already so close to the Keeper? June mentally shrugged and turned around, tracking the bludger that Kaylee had just sent away. Looking over her shoulder, June noticed that predictably, the other Beater was chasing after the bludger as well. A small smirk crossed June's lips. Bring it on...

She spurred her broom on faster and before long, the bludger was only a bit farther away from her, and below her. June narrowed her eyes at the target and dived, heading towards it. Before she reached the elusive black ball, June took a quick peek behind her and saw that she was now almost right below Kaylee... only a few more seconds. She hit the bludger with her bat, this time not at Raistlin, but straight... up.

June brought herself out of the dive and flew upwards, following her bludger's path straight towards Kaylee's broom. June gave the bludger a little nudge with her bat, giving it an extra burst of speed, and dived again, hoping to get out of the bludger and Kaylee's way.

Gryffindor Chaser

Aliza had since managed to get the quaffle, surprisingly she met no competition and seemed to be the only chaser actually awake at this point in the game. Still, she wasn't complaining!

She looked around and began to head towards the goalposts, actually going quite slowly - she wanted some backup. "Juney!" she yelled, "Care to give us a hand?"
