Press Conference: littleprincess_01

This is the thread for littleprincess_01's press conference. In this thread you will be fielding questions asked by the press (myself) and judged on how well you handle it.

So come in, get yourself settled behind a microphone, and await the first journalist...

Journalists began to stand up as Aliza entered the room, all vying for her attention. One won through, and asked his question.

"Aliza, Jonno Highmore from Radio Hinkypunk. Our listeners have been sending questions in in their droves, and would like to know if the rumours surrounding RhiannonMei and a certain Weasley brother are true..."

Aliza rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that my contestants' personal lives were of any relevance to the public. And it's also none of my business to divulge any personal information." she smiled sweetly at the reporter.

And as for whether the rumour was true or not, she'd have to ask June. A Weasly brother? Which one?! She turned to her agent and murmured something in his ear. When she turned back she could hear the scratching of the pen as he made notes.

The reporter raised an eyebrow, but sat down to let someone else ask a question.

"Aliza, Cuthbert MacDonald from Good House-Elf Keeping. We've heard that during their time at your Boot Camp, your contestants abused the rights of at least ten house-elves, keeping them working all hours of the day. Is there any truth to this?"

Cuthbert sat down, scribbling something onto his parchment as another reporter stood up.

"Aliza, Steve Comyns from The Daily Snidget. We have sources that say Polly was seen leaving Knockturn Alley after buying illegal potions that influence the audience to vote for her. What say you?"

"Aliza, Tom Lyons from Wands. Forget about the contestants, our readers are more interested in you. We've heard rumours that you've been sending owls to a certain M.V. Who is this and what exactly is the nature of your relationship?"

"Aliza, James Jameson from Around the Wizarding World. It's widely known that you're filthy rich, and our readers would be very interested in learning where this newfound wealth came from. Word is the means weren't entirely honest..."

"Aliza, Luna Lovegood from The Quibbler. We'd like to know if your acts are aware of the Rakakiki's that fly around their heads whilst they're on stage?"

Luna Lovegood didn't look upset by the demand, and simply floated out of the room smiling unnervingly at Aliza the whole time.

A reporter by the name of Bob Bobkins stood up.

"Aliza, I'm from Divination Weekly and our Seer's have forseen a poor outcome for your acts. Do you believe in the second sight and their claims?"

"Aliza, Liza Lizard from Wizarding Geneology. What have you got to say about the rumours surrounding your HE family? There seems to be a hotbed of marriages, re-marriages, incest and cross-species breeding."

"So the phrase keeping it in the family really does apply here!" Said the reporter before sitting down.

Just then, a tall burly man ran into the room, cheeks flushed from exertion.

"Aliza! Aliza! Your dear Mother has just informed us that you're just the person to talk to if we want to know about illegal magic carpet smuggling!"

"Apparition, you say?" Boomed the reporter, "That's not what I've heard! I've heard that you confunded your apparition examiner to gain the pass, and you're an illegal animagus to boot! AND you're training your acts to be illegal animagi too!"

"Duly noted!" Said the reporter, holding his hands out in a placating manner.

"Aliza! Aliza! I'm Cathryn Adams, from Wizard Rock Radio. Our listeners wanted me to tell you that they'll be voting for your acts in the competition, and we wondered if you'd be interested in bringing them both for exclusive interviews?"

The reporter from the radio station sat down, and a balding man came and stood on the stage.

"Witches and Wizards, if I can have your attention please! Today's conference has come to an end, we will be continuing tomorrow however so be here bright eyed and bushy tailed with questions at the ready!"

The balding wizard called for attention.

"Witches and Wizards, the conference can begin again!"

A squat wizard stood up and held his microphone to his mouth.

"Aliza, Harper Jennings from Owl Post. Be honest, which of your acts do you think has a better chance of winning?"

[color=red]Aliza looked at the reporter, slightly shocked by the audacity of his question. "Well, that's a very bold question. Do I have to answer it?"

Harper frowned. "Well, all answers are at your discretion. But our readers would be very interested to know if you think one has a better chance than the other. Or perhaps you'd prefer to tell us who you think will win the competition overall?"

"Talking about hard work paying off," said a red-head at the front, "if one of your acts wins, how will you celebrate?"

((Amy! You double posted! xD))

"Oh, if we win - which we probably will - the work certainly won't stop at the end of the show. However, whether or not they do win I was planning on taking the girls on a round the world tour which will help their publicity but also give them a great holiday."

"Aliza, you've known the other judges for a while now. Any juicy gossip you'd like to share?"

"Aliza, there's a rumour going around that you...er...eat dog food. Our source has proven *quite* reliable in the past...anything you'd like to say?"

"Yes, and if anyone knows you, it'd be your Mother! So, what's your answer?"

"Rightio!" Said the reporter and zoomed off. Another one took their place.

"Aliza, one of your acts has already started their performance. How do you think it's going so far?"

"Aliza, have you ever at any point in the competition, wished you were in charge of one of the other acts?"

"Aliza," said a reporter, "recently you've held the title of Acting Second Head of Gryffindor. Do you think your role as acting head prepared you for the responsibilities of being a mentor?"

The press conference is now over, and scores will be up shortly.
