End of the term Showdown Battle

Kaitlyn looked around.. she had been planing for this day for quite sometime... She also knew she was in moral peril this night.. She looked across the field and saw quite a sight.. several hooded death eaters and tall trees in the back.. She looked across her allies and the looks on their faces.. they must be as terrified as she was ,but she knew what she had to to.. After thinking a bit Kaitlyn put on her leather armor and tightened all of her possessions to her so if she where to be hit by a curse she could still fight.. " I'm ready.." she mouthed and than she steeped forward into the line.

Zelda looked across her lines and decided that she would start she raised her wand and aimed it at a death eater far away that looked like she was doing some spell for herself.. " STUPIFFY!" Kaitlyn yelled and the first spell of the battle was fired.

(Death Eater)

Katherine walked onto the feild, alert and ready. She saw Stephy standing with a sheild charm projected just a few yards away, and started jogging twards her.
"Hey" she said, stoping to catch her breath.
Katherine watched as a jet of red light passed right where she had been standing. "That could of been me" she thought. She knew she had to be a bit more careful. Constant viligance. Katherine looked around for the source of the spell, and saw an order member standing at the other side of the feild. "Expeliarmus!" she shouted. She wasn't sure if the spell would reach her oppenent, but it was a try.

Kaitlyn Jumped out of the way in time for the spell not to hit her. She looked around for her fellow Order members ,but they where no where in site.. " Well must keep fighting." Kaitlyn thought. she raised her wand and said " Reducto!"

Katherine saw the spell shooting twards her, and quickly preformed a basic sheild charm. "That should hold it off till I can think of what to do next" she thought.

(Pamela--order)

Pamela stood there for a while in awe. This was her first battle, and it had already begun. She was wondering if she should be here, but she wanted to do this. She pulled out her wand and stepped out into the field. She gave Kaitlyn, the only other order member she could see, a quick nod. "Expelliarmus!" She shouted, aiming at the death eater who'd just arrived before her.

Pamela saw a spell come at her. She did not react very quickly, but as far as she could tell nothing had happened. She attempted the disarming spell again, but too her dismay her wand went flying behind her. Sighing, she decided that the spell must have worked. She shouted, "Protego". At least that worked. In the meantime she would have to work out a way to use a spell to remove the bubble that wouldn't just backfire on her.

Zelda looked at Pamela and smiled.. " We need to get closer I think.. We also need a plan.. I am thinking sneak attack." Zelda said. As she said this another spell came her way and she said " Protego!" and it protected her.. " I am thinking that we need to sneak behind them." Zelda said.

"That would be a good idea," Pamela began, "but right now, spells aren't very effective for me because of this bubble or whatever it is. Spells just get flung back at me. I'm trying to think of a way out, but I'm drawing a blank."

Pamela knew they would have to get closer. She kept hoping that more order members would show up, but it was 2 against 2, and she knew that Kaitlyn was a good fighter.....Pamela would just have to figure a way out of this spell, and gather her nerve back up.

Pamela couldn't believe she'd not thought of the simplest thing. "Finite Incantatum!" She shouted. Then she did a basic test, "Expelliarmus!" While it didn't disarm an opponant, she wasn't disarmed either. It had worked. She recast a shield charm.

"Okay," Pamela whispered, "how do we play this?"

" Well the name of the game is cat and mouse.. right now we are the cat .. I am thinking that we need to sneak up behind them invisible and unheard." Zelda whispered.

"Dissillusionment charm?" Pamela asked. "Or do we need something more than that?"

(Deatheater)

Katherine looked around, amazed that the order didnt seem to be doing much.
"I think its pretty safe" she softly said, as she undid her sheild charm. Then, out of nowhere, that voice in the back of her head came back, tellin her what to do.
"Shoot somthing at them, they wont hae time to react!".
"Reducto!" she shouted

Somehow the spell got to Pamela despite her shield charm. It hit her on her right shoulder, and knocked her back a few feet. To make matters worse, she had dropped her wand. She struggled, in pain, to find it. Somehow she managed; she picked it up and looked at her shoulder. There was a pretty fierce gash, but she'd live.

She decided that for now she would perform a dissilusionment charm on herself and wait for Kaitlyn to fill her in on a potential plan. "We need to act fast," Pamela whispered. "I don't think they're going to give us much time."

Pamela saw the spell rushing toward Kaitlyn. She reacted almost unconciously crying, "Protego!" She didn't know if her shield charm would reach Kaitlyn before the spell did, though.

The whole seen was a blur Kaitlyn saw that the spell hit Pamela and she tried to do a shield charm ,but knew that it was too late. After that she looked at Pamela and said.. " Are you.. " ,but another spell had been cast. Pamela quickly acted a shield charm and Kaitlyn was saved. She looked around and couldn't find Pamela. Kaitlyn put a Disalisument charm on herself and than whispered a muffling charm so only the two Order members would not be heard ,but could still talk to each other.. " Pamela are you there.. is your wound going to be Okay?" Kaitlyn asked as she raised her wand and preformed another shield charm so that they would be Okay.

(Death Eater)

Katherine used Stephys advice, and to her delight, they became instantly visable. She watched as the spells sped twards both of them
"What do you think we should do. See, if we had it my way....."
Katherine railed off, as she watched an eagle fly overhead. ADHD was always a dissability in her battles.

"I'm sure it will be fine, but..." Pamela was cut off as she was overcome with a fit of laughter. She felt hundreds of little feathers and fingers all over her body. It was already reaching a point where it was almost painful. She could barely focus. "How did they find us?"

Kaitlyn watched as something red flew towards her... It hit her protective charm and she fell back... " Wow.." She said as she looked at the too.. Without any warning she got very mad. She took out her broom and mounted it she than looked at Pamela again and took off. She cast another protective charm around her and than speed at the death eaters with a burst of energy. She aimed her wand at the one called Stephy that had sent a curse at her and sent a series of Stunning spells at her and than pointed her wand at the other death eater named Katherine.

Pamela finally managed to get the tickling charm under control. Kaitlyn was clearly very ticked off, though, and had momentarily left her behind. Pamela decided her best bet would be to take off as well, and provide support. When she made it to where the two death eaters were standing she, too, pointed her wand at kathrine and cast a jelly-legs curse as well as a stinging hex, one right after the other.

Katherine saw Pamela stop the tickling charm that Stephy had cast, and point her wand toward her.
"Oh no!" she thought. "Well, fight fire with fire!"
"Expeliarmius! Percifictaus Totallus!Rictusempra!" Katherie shouted, the last spell barely shooting from her wand tipas a jelly legs curse hit her. She started to wildly move and dance, and watched as a stinging hex nearly missed her.

Pamela felt her wand leave her wand for the second time in the battle. Thankfully the other two spells narrowly missed her. She flew as close to the ground as she could trying to see if she could find it. There were a few branches here and there on the ground, but she saw what she thought was her wand.

Pamela went into a steep dive and scooped it up. Then she flew back to where she had come from. She decided to avoid impulsiveness, and wait until Zelda came back so they could formulate some sort of plan. "Protego." She wanted to make sure she was as protected as she could be, while she looked for cover.

Clearly Pamela hadn't found cover quickly enough. She watched as the dirt rose around her. She hadn't been able to stop it in time. Her shield charm hadn't stopped it because it had gone up around it. "Well, I just need to think of a way to break through it. That shouldn't be too hard." But as Pamela said this to herself, the dirt had turned into stone. "Well this should prove to be a little more difficult." It had gotten quite dark in there, and Pamela didn't like that. Darkness was always her weakness. "Lumos," she muttered. Nothing happened. "Lumos, lumos, lumos! Damn!"

Pamela thought that the death eater who'd trapped her probably knew she was inexperienced. Clearly she had caused it so that she couldn't cast spells. She could only hope that Kaitlyn was okay out there. Wondering vaguely how much she would hurt herself if she attempted apparition, she sat down on the ground floor. "Better not."

That was when she remembered that she had her muggle-style survival kit. It had a flashlight, which she promptly turned on and set in her lap. Then she got out one of the ready to eat meals her dad's army friend had given her. "At least this gives me a chance to refuel. Too bad there wasn't a shovel in this bloody thing."

Kaitlyn had determined look on her face and she saw that her spells where not working for they enemy had shields up.. She kept firing ,but than they started to attack. The shield that she put up around her shielded her from the fire coming her way ,but it wasn't good enough to saver her broom from singing. Here eyes got wide and she did a nose dive to try to get away from the fire spells. When she thought she had a advantage she landed ,but than all of the sudden a dirt wall formed and her teammate was trapped. Kaitlyn looked at her broom and said " Aquamenta!" The broom was extenuated and she smiled ,but it was still bad looking. " Reparo!" She said and it was fixed. After zoning out she looked at the massive feet. She put up her broom and looked at it... " How to break in?" Kaitlyn thought. She raised her wand and preformed a great spell.. " Gusto!!!" A great front arose and winds from the south came sweeping the structure away ,but creating a haze in the air at which she couldn't see from. She said another spell and the dirt reassembled into a fifteen foot dirt monster... She wondered how Pamela was seeing as she didn't know if there was anything else to the dirt monster. She looked at the DE's with her determined look again and made the monster step forward.

(I'm sorry, I'm confused. Did you turn the stone wall around me into a dirt monster? Or did you just move it?)

Pamela felt the saw the walls surrounding her beginning to change. They were starting to take on an almost life-like characteristic. "That's odd," she said to herself. "Kaitlyn or someone must have come up with a way to use the wall. Not sure how that helps my situation." She definitely felt unsure of how she would be helped when she felt the structure begin to move. It was as if it was walking. Pamela then realized that she was, essentially, in the belly of some sort of dirt creature.

"Well, this is definitely the strangest situation I've ever been in." She decided it would be wise to find a way out, fast, as the creature was probably meant to be some sort of defender. She came to the conclusion that the best way out was the way its food would leave, too. She took the flashlight she'd been using, and began to gouge a hole into the bottom of the belly, letting the dirt fall beneath her and using the jug of water in her kit to keep the dirt around the hole packed.

It took a long time, but she managed to make a hole big enough to fit through. Then she mounted her broom and dove down toward the ground outside. Naturally, as she'd had little idea how high up she was, she crashed. She was fine, though. Quickly gathering her barings, she performed yet another shield charm. Then she decided it was time to pull out the big guns. Hoping Kaitlyn would be able to fend for herself, she pointed her wand at the two Death Eaters and yelled, "Convoque el agua!" (summon water) The water that was hidden beneath the ground under their feet began to rise slowly. "Aumente la velocidad!" (increase speed) The water began to rise around them quite quickly.

As Kaitlyn Smiled the monster smiled at the sight of Pamela forming the water. She looked at Pamela and than at her monster. She forced the monster to step between the DE's and the Order members. This acted like a shield. With Pamela doing to attack and Kaitlyn defending the two it should work out.

"Good idea," Pamela said. "I was concerned that the water would cause problems for us as well." She lowered her voice to barely a whisper and added, "This water and your monster should distract them enough for a real attack. I think we should go back to the plan of getting behind them."

( Kaitlyn - Order Member)

Kaitlyn watched as a Red Dragon appeared. She flicked her wand and the monster started to move towards the Dragon. " Must be Stephy" Kaitlyn thought as she watched the dragon start to hurl fire balls at the monster. Kaitlyn smiled know that the monster was made out of some stone. The monster caught fire and the grass and living things quickly burnt. This left a solid stone monster that was resistant to fire. Kaitlyn flicked her wand again and the monster took a swing at Stephy.

(Death Eater)
Katherine watched as Stephy turned into a dragon and took off into the air. She, however, was stuck on the ground.
"I need to think of somthing to keep me floating" she thought. "They know I am horrible at swimming"
Katheirne racked her brains, trying to find some way to keep afloat, and fight at the same time. Thats when it hit her. She looked around for somthing she could use.... anything. Then, she spotted it! A tiny rock! She quickly pointed her wand at it, and whispered "fluitopulso" (floating platform) Right before her eyes, that little rock turned into a very sturdy raft. She quickly climbed on top of it, and looked around for the enemy.
She spoted them a little over 700 yards away.
"Perfect" she thought. She would just float here for a while, watch, and learn. Or, so, that was her plan.

Pamela stared as the red dragon appeared, "Well that's nice," she said. Then she reinforced the shield charm and added a disillusionment charm, hoping that the Death Eaters wouldn't discover her again. She got an idea as she watched the Death Eater still maintaining human form. "Convoque la tierra," (summon earth) she said, pointing her wand in the direction of the woman floating on a makeshift raft. She smiled as she watched the area under the raft turn into a thick layer of mud. Then she began to slowly make her way toward the woman, still disguised by the disillusionment charm.

(Death eater)
Katherine saw the order member point her wand a her, and braced for impact. However, this "bracing" made her lose her balance. She toppled head first off the raft, hoping to land in water, and insted finding mud.
"Ewww!" She screamed. Those order members were going to get it. She would make sure of that.
"Percifius Totallius" she said, pointing her wand in the direction of where the spell ame from. But the order member was gone.

Pamela pointed her wand, again, at the death eater. "Muffliato," she muttered. "There, that should help." She thought about hardening the mud into a cement, thereby trapping girl. She thought better of it, though. For now. How should I play this? She decided to just bide (sp?) her time until the death eater had at least regained her footing, before doing anything. Meanwhile she stayed crouched low to the ground, out of the moonlight, just in case she was somehow revealed.

Kaitlyn watched as her Rock monster fell to the ground and broke into thousands of pieces. One of the big boulders hit Kaitlyn and she was knocked out and in bright daylight. She only hoped that Pamela would save her.

From on the other side of the field, Pamela heard a loud 'thud'. She turned and could see Kaitlyn's rock monster--or what was left of it--smashed to bits, and a figure lying on the ground. She assumed that figure was Kaitlyn herself. "Damn," Pamela said. "I shouldn't have left her alone."

Giving up all attempts to be quiet, she took off sprinting as fast as she could. When she made it over to Kaitlyn, she saw that she was out cold. Please be okay. Clutching her side, and pointing her wand at Kaitlyn, Pamela breathed out, "Ennervate." She could only hope that it would help.

She didn't know what on earth they were going to do about the blasted dragon. If Kaitlyn didn't wake up, Pamela was going to be alone, and rather underqualified. Someone had to help out, though. While she waited for Kaitlyn to wake up she put a shield charm around both of them, and tried to figure out a solid plan.

Kaitlyn woke up and looked at Pamela.. She smiled and tried to get up.. It took every nerve in her body to stand up and when she finally got back up she fell down.. " I think I have several broken bones." Kaitlyn said to Pamela.

"Well, I'm no healer," Pamela began. "I could try if I knew the spell to mend bones, but I would be afraid of making your situation worse." Pamela just needed a moment to think. She knew she needed to either get Kaitlyn healed or out of danger. "We need to get you out of range, Kaitlyn," Pamela added after quite some time of silence. "Maybe one of the other order members will show up. If not, at least theirs only two of them..."

Kaitlyn raised her wand and said " Blasto!" This launched her in the air and she fell a few yards away ,but avoided the Fire if it where to break the shield charm... She looked at herself and reached for one of the last healing potions in her pack.. She drank the hole thing and she instantly felt better.. ,but it didn't help her broken bones.. Luckily for her it was her left arm and her left shoulder.. She looked at Pamela and said.. " We need to get some place safe.. She walked over to Pamela and preformed a Disalusment charm on the both of them.. Kaitlyn walked over a little bit and hoped Pamela would follow.. Kaitlyn than pointed her wand at the ground and conjured a tourniquet out of dust. She looked at Pamela and said.. " Well you help me wrap my Shoulder and Arm?"
