| Ever remember reading a book when you were younger - and now you can't think of the title or author? Ask in this thread to see if anyone can help you. Give as much info as you can remember about the book and maybe someone will be able to identify it.
To start the thread off...
I'm half remembering a book (possibly a series??) about a school and the teacher (I think?). One thing I remember from the book was that they visited Hadrian's wall, and this was a talking point because one of the children had the name or surname Hadrian. I remember the front cover showed the teacher, who was bald and had round glasses...I'm sure the title was something about magic or Mr. Magic. Ring any bells for anyone?

| No, not familiar to me, but I have one that I've been trying to remember for years.
It's a young adult novel, but it was probably written in the 80's, cause I read it when I was in maybe 5th grade. It's about a group of kids that wake up in what I think was a house, but it's more like a giant maze. It's a bit like a rat in a maze, because there are buttons they can push, and sometimes they get food, and other times nothing. I don't remember if they get out or not. I remember it being a pretty psychological book for a young adult novel (this was during the beginning of the Christopher Pike/R.L Stine teen horror phase that I was lucky enough to come of age during- Now most teen age books are either gossip girl wannabes or twilight wannabes).

| Ooh. That sounds like a book I read, but I don't think it's the same. 'Cause it was only one person, and they were in a space ship of some sort that could talk to them. And I only remember it 'cause the main character told the ship that, "My father was my mother's brother!"
Lol.
The book I can't remember the title of was about this brother and sister who dressed up like chickens 'cause one of them was in a chicken pot pie ad and they went crazy in the town, I think... but that's all I remember. ><

| Well, I have one:
There's these witches, they're all bad, but kinda stupid (one of them keeps turning herself into an inanimate object like a table) but there's one who's nice (she has: white magic? Light magic?), and they all want to marry this handsome dark wizard, but he's a lttle bit pathetic... There's some sort of competition, and a worm called Rover who belongs to a boy called a name beginning with T, and his last name is Mug or something (and he's very ugly), and one witch falls down a bottemless hole...
Sorry if this is a little bit muddled!

And there were like 10 families (or guests and they all were trying to find the prize....and the book had a lot of flash backs in it..and the cover had money on it.....(sorry in it is a bit vague but i forgot hehe)
