The posts can begin on Saturday 5th April - not before!
and will end on Wednesday 9th April - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Concentrate on building your points up and please read how the matches are scored!

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See this post for more info.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Rose rolled her eyes as Violet caught the Quaffle and threw it to a fellow Slytherin. The Huffie chaser, without much intention, held her hand out, hoping that the red ball would magicly come to her. Instead, it soared high over her head and right into Kay's arms.

"Oh, come on!" Rose yelled. "Was it to much to ask for a little magic?"

[Slytherin Chaser]

As she started to re-explain her newest plan the quaffle flew through the air and she caught in on pure instinct. "Did you see that people? I caught that ball out of pure instinct, I didn't even know it was coming until it was like here" while she spoke she showed just how close the quaffle had come to hitting her when she caught it, "and I just reached up and caught it, just like that. Hey wait a minute, who just threw this at my head?" The second she stopped talking she looked around and saw the Huffie chaser giving talking to herself and going on about magic and Violet laughing madly.

So I'm guessing that Violet was the one who threw the quaffle at my head, and in the process that Huffie tried to steal it but failed.

Now giggling and holding onto the quaffle like it was her child and the Huffie was a baby snatcher she said one word out loud, "Nice!" When she finally turned back to finish her original conversation she noticed Jamoki looking at her like she was a nutter. "Oh right, I keep forgetting that everyone isn't used to mine and Gemmas internal conversations that cause us to mumble incoherent words and phrases. Don't worry seriously it's completely normal and it will happen often."

Gemma was doing the usual and smiling at her and shaking her head. "Anyways back to my un-named move. So this was the idea, you know Gemmas move earlier when she flipped herself upside down? Well it wasn't so much a move as an accident, what ever. So I was thinking we'd use that to our advantage, the Huffies will think that they are going to get the ball off us as easily as they did the time when Gemma pulled the move and dropped the quaffle. So when who ever flips themselves upside down and fakes like they are going to drop the quaffle. We wait until the Huffie goes for the bait and flies in to snatch it up when one of our other chasers flies in out of nowhere and snatches it up just before they get there." She said this in what seemed like one breath, those pixie stix must have kicked in already.

Looking around it seemed as if everyone was still with her, well at least they didn't look udderly confused as of yet. Seeing this she continued, "And then the one flipped upside down will flip themselves right side up while the Huffie is distracted chasing the person with the quaffle around the pitch. As soon as the other person is up we will confuse the crap out of them. Lets say I'm the one flying around with the quaffle after catching it from an upside down Gemma. I will fly by you Jamoki and pretend to pass you the quaffle and then you will start flying around like you have it hidden in your grasp and then I will fly over to Gemma and really pass the quaffle on to her. But the key is we all pretend like we have it, and then the Huffies, both the chaser and the keeper wont know which one of us to pay attention to."

So far so good, almost done, and at least they still seemed to be paying attention to her. Shrugging she continued, "Then we will all fly towards the goals from separate directions confusing the keeper and the chaser even more. And BAM that's when we will score." Once she finished she started bouncing up and down on her broom still holding onto the quaffle like someone was trying to steal her pride and joy.

((Hufflepuff Keeper))

Kate could of Kicked herself when the Quaffle went in. "Poo." She said. "I will NOT let that go in another time under my watch," She called to Rose who had already got the Quaffle and tried to shoot but missed. Shoot, score, win. That was Kate's motto. But it was wearing a little thin on the ground with such a good keeper on the opposing team.

Kate could see the Slytherin Keeper starting to get annoyed at Rose and called out to Rose to warn her.
"Be careful!" She shouted. "And GET THAT QUAFFLE!" Kate was watching with rapt attention as she waited to save the next ball. No matter what the tactics, she would save it.

Now where is that snitch? She thought.

((So sorry about not being there to save the quaffle last time, I was packing boxes to move house. grrrrrrr!))

[Slytherin Chaser]

Gemma had noticed the Huffie Chaser being far behind, and so she hadn't cared too much about whether or not to catch the Quaffle after they had scored, assured that she would have enough time left to do so and wanting to know first off what move Kay had thought off. However, suddenly the girl was there and before her or one of the other Slytherin Chasers could do something about it, she has all across the pitch and right in front of their hoops, making Gemma pray as she watched. Luckily though, Violet saved the red ball easily and threw it to Kay, who on her part didn't seem to take notice.

I guess telling her that there is a Quaffle zooming towards her head would be- Oh my gosh, wow!

She had butted into her own thoughts at the sight of Kay's hand going up quickly and catching the ball without even looking into the direction it was coming from. She meant to say something about it, praise her friend above all other Chasers actually, but obviously she was rather good at doing so herself, making it unnecessary for Gemma to add anything. Next thing she knew Kay was randomly looking over the pitch and starting to giggle, then explaining to Jamoki how they were weird.

As if he didn't know that already, she thought and shook her head grinning. Just as Kay started to re-explain her move, Gemma decided she better listened closely. It had, after all, been confusing enough the first time around, and she didn't feel like asking again. She looked like an idiot quite enough already, that was for sure. Luckily it seemed she had understood this time, and, trying to come up with a name, she grinned at her once again hyper teammate.

"Sly Saccharide Confusion, how do you like that as a name? I mean, it does include the Slytherin origin of said move, the effect it has and of course - most importantly - it names the source that made the move come to life!"

She giggled and thought about the amazing mass of sugar Kay might have consumed in her life already. Probably if the sugar was weighed it would match the weight of an elephant or something. She looked at her friend still in giggles and wondered what she would think about her idea of a name, waiting for a reaction.

"Oh, and by the way, Kay: I'm not sure whether I should be the person hanging upside down or rather soemone else. I do after all have a lot of experience with it, which might make it more believable if I was the one taking that part, but on the other hand I wouldn't probably be able to get back to being right side up. So pulling it off quickly might become less easy. What you think about it? Or you, Jamoki, and opinion on that?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Don't mean to drop in", said Rose, hovering upside-down on her broom above the Slytherin's. "But, can I have that ball?" She put on a wide smile and streached her arms, beconing for the Quaffle. "It would be ever so kind of you."

[Slytherin Seeker and Captain]

Cat sped, following the tiny golden ball in the distance, determined to catch it. And lucky for her Dani hadn’t even noticed her yet. This made her want to do a dance, but of course being on a broom and trying to chase down a tricky little ball, she couldn’t exactly do that. At least not quite yet.

She kept going, ducking around other players, doing twists and turns, and even having to loop around a few quidditch goal polls. She was so close to it now. It was inches away from her fingertips. She could practically taste the victory already. She reached out even farther with her fingers and….she had it!

She grinned and began to fly towards the ground with the snitch in her hand.
