Hogwarts Graduates- The Final Day of Hogwarts

"......Zeth Zymbler," Professor McGonagal called, and Zeth accepted his award, "Well, thats everyone. Goodbye and good luck students, you have a few hours before the Hogwarts Express arrives....make the most of it."
Graduation day. Holly would never have thought seven years ago that on this day she would be happily accepting her scroll for McGonagal along with everyone else. She assumed she would be expelled before then.
"Last day Georgie," Holly stroked her monkey, "Y'gonna miss it here?"
"Yes," George said sadly, "Very much. Mostly the people though....where are we going to go now?"
Holly sighed.
"I dunno," she said uncomfortably.
The seventeen year old skimmed a flat rock into the black lake, wondering.

Shadow shot a glare at Holly, but it was a joking glare.

Holly snorted.
"Nah I love you really," she said shoving her lightly.

Shadow grinned, thinking the same aloud.

Holly grinned and then sighed.
"I really dont wanna leave this palce...."

SHadow shook her head in agreement, not wanting to leave either.

Holly nodded.
"Plus I have no idea what I am going to do with my life," she continued, "Cause Ive always thought I was too young to consider. Something to do with Quidditch I think .... but .... what?"

"Quidditch player?" Shadow suggested.

"Thank you for that Shadow," Holly said sarcastically, "I wish I'd thought of that sooner...."

Shadow groaned and shook her head.

Holly grinned.
"Where're you gonna go?" she asked, beginning to circle the lake again.

"I'm working at St Mungo's." Shadow said.

"Excellent!" Holly said enthusiastically, "You like it there?"

"It's good fun. So far only one person's threatened my with a cross." Shadow said with a smile.

"Score!" Holly said grinning, "Sounds like you're doin a pretty darn good job kid."

"They don't mind as long as I can heal." Shadow said.

Holly nodded.
"Finally people who appreciate you huh?"

"I guess so. At least I can cure things you normally can't with normal magic." Shadow said.

"Thats good," Holly said, "You are obviously incredibly talented, I wish Id noticed that before and not under estimated you in the past man ..."
She thought.
"Oh no I havent. Sorry I was just sarky im in a bad mood."

Shadow smiled.
"I can tell."

Holly smiled and lightly shoved her.
"Sorry," she said again, "I just dont wanna leave. I vote we stay here, like camp out in the forest, take polyjuice potion, and come back in September as first years. We can be Molly and Ladow ... "

Shadow raised an eyebrow.
"Why not just apply for a job at Hogwarts?"

Holly thought.
"Did I just have a really big moment? Cause I didnt think of that .... I doubt they'd let me back though. I had more detentions than I did meals at Hogwarts ..."
She smiled at the thought.

"I dunno, student relations? Quidditch coach or ref?" Shadow suggested.

"Ooooh coach!" Holly said stopping in mid walk, "Proffessor Bris. I like that. Thanks kid!"

Shadow smiled.
"Any day. I plan to apply for Nurse when Pomfrey leaves and I've got a bit more experience."

"Just say the word and Ill get PomPom outta there faster than you can say "I cant believe Holly Bristol set Madam Pomfrey up on a date with Filch" "

Shadow raised an eyebrow.
"No, I'm waiting to gather more experience."

"Oh," Holly said, slightly crestfallen, "Then after that. You have my card."
She winked.

Shadow smiled and shook her head.
"I'll be back one day."

Holly nodded.
"Good. Good good. Good good good."

"Enough with the goods already." Shadow said.

"Sorry," Holly said quickly, grinning.

Shadow grinned back.

"And where're you living?" Holly asked curiously.

"In my house." Shadow said.

"With ... " Holly lowered her voice and checked Raven wasnt around, "Jamie?"

Shadow shook her head.
"Alone apart from Archangel and Onyx."

Holly nodded. "How are they by the way?"

"Good, although very annoying." Shadow said with a smile.

Holly smiled.
"Typical kids huh?"

"I can't go through the day with out having to duck or trip over a dove or a wolf." Shadow said with a smile.

Holly grinned.
"Ha ... I reckon I want kids some day ... "

"You can come and look after mine if you want. It'd give them something to do." Shadow groaned.

Holly smiled.
"I will someday," she promised, "Give you a break....though im pretty crap with kids...."

"You might get on well with mine." Shadow said.

"Are they also crazy sarky arrogant brats?" Holly asked excitedly.

"They're very intelligent children with an abundance of spare time and pranking ideas." Shadow said.

Holly nodded slowly.
"We could work," she said grinning.

Shadow smiled, bowing her head.

Holly looked across the lake without seeing, and then up at Hogwarts.
