Hogwarts Graduates- The Final Day of Hogwarts

"......Zeth Zymbler," Professor McGonagal called, and Zeth accepted his award, "Well, thats everyone. Goodbye and good luck students, you have a few hours before the Hogwarts Express arrives....make the most of it."
Graduation day. Holly would never have thought seven years ago that on this day she would be happily accepting her scroll for McGonagal along with everyone else. She assumed she would be expelled before then.
"Last day Georgie," Holly stroked her monkey, "Y'gonna miss it here?"
"Yes," George said sadly, "Very much. Mostly the people though....where are we going to go now?"
Holly sighed.
"I dunno," she said uncomfortably.
The seventeen year old skimmed a flat rock into the black lake, wondering.

"No you dont," Holly corrected, "You hate it."

"Oh yeah," said Natalie thoughfully.

Shadow watched her friends, a smile on her face.

Natalie grinned at Holly.
"Are you not sad at all that school is over?" she asked her.

Holly considered and then shrugged.
"Course Im sad," she said, "I have no one to do all my work for me now we're goin our seperate ways...."
She grinned to show she was kidding.

Natalie grinned back sadly.

((I didn't go early...I'm going late instead...like soon))

((OOOh right, well i might see you later on then, dunno if ill go to the movies tonight, just goin downtown !))

Holly smiled back.

((I'm going to the movies tonight with my dad though...))

Natalie sighed.
"Well, next year it'll be like starting Hogwarts all over again...only not quite," sighed Natalie.

Holly grinned.
"Not really," she repeated thoughtfully.


((I see, to see "The Mummy"?? connerd is coming round tonight ))

"Ah," said Natalie.

((Aw crap....I'm not supposed to miss stuff like that!))

"Just make sure I don't have to see you on a professional basis." Shadow said with a smile.

Holly laughed.
"I'll make a point of it," she said.

"You'd better..." Shadow threatened.

"Eva' minga'," Holly said and stuck her tongue out at her.

Shadow raised an eyebrow.
"Don't go teaching my daughter language like that."

"Sorry," Holly said quickly, "And while we're on the subject you probably shouldnt say crap either."

Shadow raised an eyebrow again.

"Oh shot-" but Holly did not say shot, "I didnt mean to- oh no!"

"Hol, just shut up." Shadow said.

"Thank you," Holly said, and did so, grinning.

Shadow made a 'phew' gesture and lay back on the grass.

Holly laughed at her and tossed a gum wrapper over.
"Dont forget me yeah?"

"How could I?" Shadow asked.

Holly grinned.
"You better not. Cause if I check up and you look at me blankly, I will curse that demonic ass of yours!"

Shadow smiled sweetly.
"You're too soft to do that."

Holly raised her eyebrows.
"Challenging me Rothers?" she asked.

"Are you challenging me?" Shadow asked, mirroring her fried.

"Maybe," Holly said one eyebrow raised, "Depends .... "

Shadow grinned.
"Bring it on."

"Its already on," Holly said, taking out her wand.

Shadow's magic flickered in the air around her as she stood up, a slightly evil smirk on her face.

Holly swallowed, remembering demon magic and....well.....normal magic, were very different rivals.
Holly cast a nervous stunner toward Shadow.

Shadow moved her head a millimeter, the spell just missing her before she sent a few bolts of magic at Holly.

Holly stepped out of the way just in time and sent three more stunners at Shadow, one after the other.

Natalie cast a shield charm between them.

"Ok....here's the dealio," she said to the two, "you, Shadow, could kill Holly with your thumb, and Holly, you wouldn't even scratch Shadow if you cast crucio on her....so we know who'll win this."

Shadow raised an eyebrow at Natalie, but nodded.
"Fair enough."

"Uh!" Holly demanded, "Thank you! But I think I can fight a little better than to let myself be killed by a "thumb"!"

Natalie grinned and let the shield charm go.

Shadow smiled, sitting down next to Archangel again.

Holly glared at Natalie and sat on Archangel's other side.
"You agree with me dont you?" she asked the girl.

Natalie whipped her brow.
"Thank goodness for that," said Natalie thankfully, "and yes Holly....you are indeed better at duelling than Violet or S.master....so drop it."

Onyx ran out from the castle, running down to the lake. She had Hogwarts: A history clutched in her arms.

"See," said Natalie, pointing to Onyx, "someone else likes that book too. I knew there was at least...another three."

Onyx had hidden her face behind her black hair, and Shadow instinctivly knew something was wrong. She hugged her daughter, asking in demonic what was wrong. She pushed Onyx's hair out of the way to show a tear stained face.

Holly watched for a moment and then said "Sup?" softly.

Natalie looked at the little girl.
"What did madam pince do to you?" she asked softly.

"Dont be so nosey!" Holly exclaimed.

"I'm not..." said Natalie, "it's just I tend to try and make people feel better by assuming things...and since when are you the one telling me to stop being nosey?"

Onyx poured out something in demonic, crying slightly again. Shadow nodded and rubbed her daughter's left arm.
