Dinner Then A Gift (Alice + Mathew)

Alice sighed knowing he wouldn't stop bugging her about it and at least that way he would have someone focus on his injuries even though it might heal before then.
"Fine but how exactly do you plan on getting somewhere for someone to look at it?" she asked hoping he didn't think about apperating because that would probably only make her feel worse then she already was.
"But I hope you realize how ridiculous this is it will be healed soon and then we will just look like fools going to a hospital with nothing to look at." she stated rolling her eyes but found that doing this hurt. Maybe she had managed a serious injuries though she demised it even if the proof was against her in every way.
"So what’s the plan captain?" she asked trying to get up but found her balance was off and she couldn't hold her ground only to fall back down on the ground where mud was now all over her as she realized she was still in her bathing suit.

Alice nodded about the apperating it really was the only way to get there.
"How do you feel now, and don't lie to me." Mathew asked and she knew he could tell that she had lied before hand about feeling fine.
"Um woozy." she stated trying to find the least worrying word to describe what she felt like. She sighed there really was no way of getting out of this even if the cut was healed by then Mathew would make them check for everything to make sure there was no possible way that she could be hurt. Sometimes he could be such a worry wart and overreact but she loved him for it. At least he cared at all.
"Well then now that that is all settled, would you let them look at your head I mean I may have some mental issues do we really want to dive into those problems?" she asked her voice sounding horsed probably from swallowing so much water when she was down there she often forgot that even though she didn't have to breath breathing in water was bad.

Alice felt sick as the apperate it exaggerated any pain and made her feel like she was floating in mid space. When they landed she almost fell over if it wasn't for her holding onto Mathew she would have toppled right over.
"She received a head injury and I want her checked to make sure it's nothing bad. She's a vampire too." he explained Alice could see the disgust when he stated she was a vampire. It was pointless to feel bad about it after all these years but she couldn't help feel like a monster when people found out. She couldn't stand to look at her surroundings or too many painful memories would come back so she locked her eyes on Mathews trying to focus on him and not where she was.
Are you sure this is a good idea? she asked him as fear started to take its affect.
"Oh and he had some bones broken in odd directions can you check to make sure he is all right?" she asked figuring if he promised she was going to make sure he got a checkup no matter how ridiculous it may seem.

As long as I’m with you . She thought following the lady still holding onto Mathew not wanting to let go.
Alice bit her lip and her breathing became shallow.
"I just don't like it here." she said looking around watching as the nurse left. She felt awfully embarrassed she was covered in mud and blood, her hair was a wreck she was still in her bikini and realized for the first time that everyone had seen her including the nurse who was most likely running around gossiping about some weird vampire chick she saw today. She fidgeted awkwardly on the bed that Mathew had set her on; she kissed him on the cheek hoping that made things better. This of course did not work.
"Thanks loads." she stated almost a bit to sarcastically her mind started reeling off in different directions about what the doctor would be like and what he would do or what would happen.

"Thanks" she said slipping the robe on it helped a bit knowing the doctor wouldn't be looking at her basically half naked but she was still a bit on edge about it. She watched as the doctor walked in with a chart. And asked her a question. She looked over to Mathew then over at the doctor.
"Head injuries." she almost whispered not wanting to talk to him. Her teeth gritted and her hands griped the side of the bed tightly bending the metal. This was supposed to be a quick visit and yet she felt like it was dragging on too long and it should be over to soon. She wanted to tell the doctor she was fine and then get up and walks out but figured that would be a bad idea. She was immured in the room and at the moment there was no way out so she stuck it out.

Alice sighed watching him put the stethoscope back realizing she had no beating heart. It was a silent slap in her face that she had no heart so there was no point in trying to listen to it. He moved his finger from side to side then up and down in front of her she followed it with her eyes. She was unaware of this but when she moved her eyes to the left the twitched a little bit.
"See Mathew I am fine." she stated ready to get up.
"I can go now right?" she asked the doctor insistent open her leaving soon. There wasn't much they could do to determine whether or not she had a serious injuries because she was a vampire and there wasn't much to test. She was confident that she was perfectly fine and there was no need to worry so she was waiting to get the ok from the doc so she could jump onto the floor and stroll out of the white room.

"Annoyed." she said knowing that’s not what Mathew wanted to hear he probably wanted to hear that she felt fine or perfect or something like that but at the moment all she was thinking about was the other tests.
What kind of tests and a scan of my brain I would assume but how are they going to do a scan. The test is what worries me is there going to be poking needles in me and poking all sorts of liquids into my skin what are these tests? she wondered looking around the room not really focusing on anything then looking at Mathew.
"I'm sure it's nothing I probably had a something in my eye that made it twitch or something silly like that." she tried to reassure him though knowing that having a spec in your eye wouldn't make it twitch like how the doctor was looking for.

She took a deep breath.
"Ok I’m sure that they won’t have to be experimented on but for some reason I can't get that idea out of my head." she said with a slight smile as the other doctor came in with another one. She was curious as to why they needed a separate doctor to do this but then again there were other people in the world so she had no doubt that he was just more busy then the other guy.
"Pulpu?" she asked her eyebrows creasing it was an odd name almost like pupil as if he was still learning and didn't have the experience though she had to talk herself out of this idea.

She fidgeted as he brought in the machine.
"Ok." she said laying down as a weird feeling went down her spine she wasn't sure about this all. She tightened her grip on Mathew’s hand she didn’t want a machine near her but she took a few deep breaths and allowed it. She closed her eyes trying to forget that she was here but the stiff bed made it impossible to forget. She felt like she was in a different world the doctor had a weird name and a weird machine and Mathew didn't even seem to be worried about it the only thing he seemed worry about was weather she had blood in her brain or not which was not what she was thinking about.
"See this is why I let you plan are dates." Alice stated with as much of a smile as she could muster.

Alice stiffened when he used the machine but loosened up once he was done.
"But yours are all romantic and cute and charming mine was like diving into ice cold water and then being attacked by some weird thing that sounds like loads of fun." she tilting her head to the side.
"What if there is something wrong then how long will I have to stay here? an hour a day a week I mean I don't think I could manage being here that long." she stated sitting up feeling the blood rush to your head like when you get up to fast.
"I know that’s not exactly what you are worried about but the idea of being stuck here sends a chill down my spine." she told him releasing his hand and crossing her arms.

"Once we find the problem you shouldn't be here for long." Dr. Pulpu said. "You will receive treatment and than you will be able to go home. First we must see what is wrong with you." he said than left the room.

"Well you shouldn't be here for more than a few hours by the sounds of things." Mathew said. He could tell Alice wanted to leave now but he hoped she could put up with a few more hours. It wouldn't be so bad. They would just have to look at her pictures and see if there is any blood in there. If so than they would probably have to get the blood out. How they would be able to get the blood out Mathew didn't know. He hoped they didn't have to cut a hole into her head to let it drain. He shivered at the thought a little but didn't say anything to Alice. "Don't worry Alice. They'll fix whatever problem it'll be and we'll be out of here before you know it. I'll be here the whole time." Mathew said

"Ok." she said calming down a bit but was still nervous if they did find anything what kind of treatment would they be giving a potion or something like the muggles would do. These questions ran through her head like an athlete.
"You better be here the whole time if they make you leave I am seriously going to be annoyed." she said but her expression was softer then her words. She pushed some hair behind her ear and grabbed his hand again as she waited for the doctor to enter again though she didn't nessisarly want to have to face him again.

"Ya two actually." Alice said shocked that she actually had blood building up in her brain.
"What happened to the other doctors and exactly how are you going to deal with this?" she asked after shaking his hand why was it everyone who left this room didn't come back and a different person did it seemed odd to have three different doctors for one person. But then again one could be a specialist where as the first one had other patients but it seemed too odd for this to be happening. This could also be because Alice was paranoid at this point and started questioning to many things when it really wasn't that big of a deal.

"What kind of potion just like a healing one or a rejuvenating potion?" she asked figuring if he could tell her what kind of potion it was she would know what was in it. She smiled wondering who would be the person who would want to be asleep during this operation.
"Well I can tell you right now I want to be awake." she told him sternly she could see the advantages of being asleep she wouldn't have to deal with being in a hospital room but the thought that this procedure would be going on while she was unable to do anything about it would creep her out the entire time she was asleep so there really was no point she would be creped out either way. Alice looked down at Mathew who looked concerned for her.
Its ok everything will be fine. she stated but did this partially to reassure herself.

Alice listened intently as he described the potion she thought through her index of potions trying to figure out which one he might be using. She didn't like the idea of her being a blood thirsty creature afterward though she wouldn't know if she would be able to contain herself after all she had a hard enough time of that now and in a hospital what was he thinking.
"Is this really needed I mean..." she cut herself off from stalling this anymore the more she stalled the longer she would have to be there and she didn't like this idea.
"Ok doc I’m ready." she choked out swallowing hard afterwards. She didn't look at Mathew she couldn't muster the strength to.
he is a doctor he knows what he is doing. she told herself though she had a hard time believing it.

Alice looked down at the potion but despite her better judgment chugged it down. It tasted awful but the only potion that ever tasted good was the love potion.
"How do you feel?" Mathew asked and she gave him a slight smile.
"Like I just got hit by a rhino." she muttered inhaling the scents in the room. Everything smelled so good as if the entire place was a pizzeria and every pizza was made to please everyone's senses.
"Mathew you have to get me out of here." she told him trying not to breathe in but it was hard to not want to take everything in.

Alice creased her eyebrows as he started talking about her as if she was a ravenous tiger about to eat him that’s when she realized that’s what she wanted to do. Mathew quickly picked her up and told her to hold her breath. She took a deep breath and then they ran out of the room passing all sorts of people running around like mad men. Her eyes glistened as they pasted as young mortal who was dressed in a red dress that might have been white but was died with all the blood that she was dripping in. Alice couldn't hold her breath at that point and with one whiff instantly wanted to eat the girl.
You can't! she told herself though it was getting harder to restrain herself. Mathew set her down and she took a step but stopped herself before she could go any farther. She was in a constant battled with herself her instincts told her to go for her but her morals told her to stay put and for the entire time she was standing there she almost ran after the girl. There was no way they could stop her. Alice reached for the blue ribbon that was in her pocket for hunting only to find it wasn't there.

"But... But..." Alice stammered pulling slightly to get away from his wrist but couldn't. She watched the girl she was dying.
"It would be quick painless...she is already dyeing it would just quicken It." she said trying to find a reason why she needed to kill that girl.
"Mathew I don't want pig or bear me wants her blood let go." she insisted half heartedly. Half of her wanting to do it the other half holding her back.
this isn't me you don't want to do this. she told herself it had been 200 years since she was a newborn and yet she found herself still struggling and even more after she bit Mathew and got her first taste of human blood.

"Just one bite!" Alice said struggling away trying to weasel out of his arms. She couldn't think clearly and now she had nothing holding her back but Mathew.
"Just one bite I will only take one but just let me have one bite Mathew I promise only one bite please let me go!" she yelled at him but not loud enough for anyone to be concerned. She tried getting out of his arms but he was so much stronger then her she was having difficulties with it. She was no longer listening to him though it bugged her she didn't have her ribbon to tie her hair up but if she wanted the blood enough that wouldn't matter.

Alice's breath was hard and uneven she struggled trying not to look at him but she forced to. She met his golden eyes as he talked sternly to her. Slowly she stopped fighting.
"No." she whispered as if she was trying to tell herself something but she was frozen as the internal battle took place.
Just one bite wouldn't kill her you could save her turn her you would get your blood and she would be alive what is wrong with that?
You wouldn't be able to stop you couldn't stop from draining all blood from her.
But when was the last time you thought for yourself is a treat to much for all you have worked for?
It's not a treat it's a person’s life and don't they deserve to live as much as you do?
Come on Alice DO IT you know you want to just go for it... Smell that you can't resist it no one could stop you no one would catch you and no one would know but you your dirty little secret. She fell to her knees uncertain of everything she glanced back at the girl who looked so good but how could she take a life?

Alice looked at the flames then the girl then up at Mathew. She was stunned unsure of what to do the battle had stop for that moment and she was lost in the choices. She could get up and run after the girl or walk into the flames or fall into his hands or just slip out of them and go for any nearby mortal. She could feel the thirst in her throat burning and dry engulfing her through in flames.
"Take me home." she said coldly as if it was someone else talking instead of her though it still looked like her except the black hole that had taken up her eyes there was no more color or depth in her eyes just a cold hard painful black stare.

Alice looked at the blood then over to Mathew. She picked up a pack and emiedatly drank every ounce out of it. She didn't want to be greedy so she stopped there even though she wanted more she couldn't stand drinking all of his blood.
"Thank you." she said feeling the tears come to her eyes as she looked at her feet unable to look at him after what she almost did to that poor girl. She couldn't stand what Mathew might think about her after this event, she had to be the worst girlfriend of all time.

"Mathew I could have killed her I almost did she doesn't even know how close she was being a snack." she said putting her head in her hands.

"You don't even know how good it felt to feed into my instincts even that little bit... I didn't feel bad I didn't feel tied down any more I felt like I should have and it scared me to think that even for that moment that I lost control... I feel terrible." Alice said taking in a deep sob and she couldn't stand it. She didn't take the blood from him the thought made her sick at the moment.

"You don't know what it tastes like I did want it so badly Mathew that place smelled like the best rose garden and every desert in the world the finest cuisines. It smelled like pbjs and everything I missed eating though as a human I didn’t get to eat much anyway it was all the comfort food I stored under my bed when I was a teen and I wanted so badly to go back to that to be able to taste those things again an my instincts kept telling me if I drank her blood I could taste all those things again. and I turned away I felt like I was pulling away from things I wanted and then I realize I almost ate that poor girl it's just too much at the moment... not to mention where this all took place I can't think straight there." Alice said sobbing deeply into her hands.

Alice looked up at him.
"I know I turned away but I still want to go back I still am fighting myself from turning around a hunting that girl down." she said leaning her head on his shoulder.

"It's not fair I have been a vampire for how long and I still can't control myself if you weren't there... so many people would be dead and you have it all under control like you never struggle with this it just doesn't make sense how you can manage to be completely under controlling a hospital when there I blood dripping in every direction and I can't control myself... that’s one of the reasons I didn't want to go there I knew this would happen I knew and I still couldn't prevent it." she continued on feeling horrible that she was spilling all of this onto him all at once.

[color=blue]"Alice" Mathew said "I think the only reason why i can control myself around blood so much is because I have yet to taste it. Yes it does smell nice and that's all I need is the smell. It's like smelling a nice flower. It might smell delicious but I'm not going to eat a flower. That's how I deal with humans. They smell nice but I just can't drink blood from them. I never tasted blood before so I have no clue what I'm missing. You however are different. You have had blood before and so you are enticed by it. It's like a child and candy. A child who had candy before would not be able to stop themselves from eating it if it was just sitting there right in front of them."

Alice looked up at him with sad eyes they were still dark due to the fact she was refusing blood at the moment.

"Ya I guess so your just so lucky I mean to not have as much of a temptation...I missed that the only thing I missed after biting you besides you blushing and being human...It’s just I don't know what to do." she paused thinking through the nights event.

"I left my wand at the lake didn't I?" she asked realizing once again she had lost her wand it was probably gone by now along with the little blue ribbon that would have remained in her pocket. Over the years Alice had lost about ten wands broken about five and three have mysteriously vanished so by now she was known by name at olivanders.
