21st HOUSE QUIDDITCH: GRYFFINDOR V RAVENCLAW 12TH JULY

(gryffindor beater)

::WL flew onto the pitch and eagerly awaited the match ahead. She swung her bat with ease, her well formed arm muscles doing their job effortlessly, as she waited for the rest of the team and the Ravenclaws to arrive.

For good measure, she thwacked several bludgers at the Ravenclaw entrance (meaning she hit both of them, several times...lol) so that the players would have to be on their toes even at the word go!

(ravenclaw chaser)

::Lifey felt so bad for missing the last game, but her mum has taken away her laptop! it's still gone and curse dad's keyboard!::

::Lifey shook all thoughts of her parents, and her grandpa... *coughs* out of her mind, swung a leg over her broom, and took off into the air, all of her worries disapearing with the wind.::

::Lifey looked around for her fellow teammates, but her eyes met with two bludgers from waterlily, both of which she dodged easily.::

::Lifey swooped up and caught the quaffle as it was thrown into play.::

::WL grinned cheekily and sped off to get the bludgers that lifey had just dodged so that she and lifey could play a game of dodgeball.

::WL kept on aiming the bludgers at lifey any time she had the quaffle so that she could not hold it long enough to flly to the hoops to try and score.::

(Gryffindor beater)

::Duck flew onto the pitch and used the same technique as WL, pelting the bludgers at Lifey, so she wouldn't have a chance to score.

Duck knew that the Quidditch season was coming to an end, an as such, this was an important game. They needed to win!::

(Ravenclaw seeker)

::Mcfly looked over at amy, no way was her sister going to beat her. This wasn't just house rivalry anymore, but family rivalry::

::Mcfly sped up to her looking place which could see all over the pitch. The players dotted about and balls flying everywhere. Every single quidditch ball could be seen, except the snitch::

(ravenclaw chaser)

::Despite the bludgers hurling themselves at her, lifey managed to cling to the quaffle.::

::As she hurtled through the air, Lifey approched the opposite goal hoops::

(Gryffindor Chaser)

::Cheery watched Lifey heading towards the goal posts. Cheery, however, seemed very tired and didn't have good focus just yet.::

::She flew around a bit and watched as the Gryffindor keeper saved the quaffle from going in the goal.::

::WL gave Cheery some pepper-up potion to wake her up and re-energize her, and went of with duckie to perfom a double wam at lifey to make her drop the quaffle into cheery's waiting arms::

(R seeker)

::Mcfly soard over the game in play, keeping one eye out for the snitch, one for any bludgers and one on the game...then she realised she only had two eyes so stopped looking for bludgers. But that was a mistake

"ARGH!"

Mcfly got hit in the side byt a blidger, winding her badly. Her broom spiraled down. She let go and started to fall. Lifey saw mcfly was falling and flew over to help her, she dived down after hey. Lifey reached forward and caught hold of Mcflys hand, and pulled her up onto her broom, Lifey then sped over to Mcflys own broom and Mcfly got back on,

Without any more timewasting, Lifey made sure Mcfly was ok and Mcfly told her she was fine, just shocked her and they flew back into play. Mcfly could see her sister, Amy, laughing, so Mcfly flew up to the ravenclaw beater and whispered soemthign to her.

Mcfly flew away smirking. The ravenclaw beater hit a bludger right at amy. Amy was hit in the stomach by this bludger and fell off her broom.

Mcfly decided to use this as an advantage, everyone was looking at amy and most of the gryffindor players had gone over to help, so mcfly watched the pitch closely for a gold snitch while the pitch was mildly empty.

It was there, Right down low by the ground, Mcfly decided on which moveto use. The eagle dart, it was like a wronski feint, but as you plumited down you spun round, adding speed to your drop, Mcfly took a deep breath and pointed the nose of her broom down to the ground, she put on a burst of speed and flew down, spinning. Mcfly just had to remember to pull out of this fast dive quickly, before she hit the ground...:

::Rip watched the game carefully. She could feel the fear coming from the Ravenclaws::

::She could see the Ravenclaw chasers ganging up on Cheery, so Rip flew into a near-by open space and called "Cheery! I'm open!". Cheery turned and threw the red ball straight to Rip. She caught iti with ease, flew in an arc over the other chasers, and forwards towards the goal posts. She could see the Ravenclaw chasers following lamely out of the corner of her eye. Rip smiled as she looked at her broom lovingly. She was glad she had purchased the latest Speederama. They were made perfectly for chasers, giving them balance, speed, and the ability to move easily::

::She looked ahead, and oh! Where did that bludger come from?::

::Mcfly's eyes werewatering from the speed she was dropping, she circled the snitch reached out her hand and caught it. Holding it in one hand mcfly help the broom with the other, she was still going very fast. she pulled up the front of her broom but as she was going really fast she couldn't pull herself out of the dive. The front of her broom scuffed the ground.

She flipped over several times and fell to the floor. She lay on her back and realised she had let go of the snitch. It was flying infront of her, obviously about to get away. But Mcfly reached forward and grabbed it before it did. She wasn't letting go of this thing now! No way!::
