I'm shocked someone's not started a thread on this yet. You, Kitty, of all people, should be somewhat enthusiastic

I'm not obsessed with this ship, but I'm all for it. What draws me to it is the fact that it's forbidden. It's the whole 'opposites attract' thing, and I guess I go with that - while Draco's the bad boy (yes, I like bad boys ), Hermione's this good little girl who's never stepped out of her moral bounds except for when she's with Harry and/or Ron. Someone different for a change then.

I know some of you here are all for it. Some, not so much (*cough* Planty*cough*).. Darn, I actually coughed then. But hey, tell me what you think!

Dramione is not one of my favorites, but as always, if it is a good story I will read it. I dunno, it seems so.... unreal for me, this ship. I know that (books aside) it might happen (once again, books aside) but I think Drinny is more believable.

So.... yeah. Not my favourite.

I have to say I am a lot more tolerant of this ship than of Harry/Hermione, to the point where I almost don't mind it :D

I am still completely a R/Hr person, but in fandom, there's no harm in Dramione, it's much, much better than Harmony, and I would imagine quite an entertaining read in a well written fic.

Amy you should read Kitty's awesome Dramione fic!! It's how I turned into a Dramione shipper hahaha!

Dramione is one of those fics you just gotta say "Whoa, can you imagine the upset of the Wizarding World if that happened?" Plus, if you take Slytherin's bad boy and Gryffindor's good girl, and put them together, you get a perfectly twisted masterpiece! :D :twisted:

Yeah, Kitty's Dramione story is just... amazing! I love it!!!! I read loads of good Dramione's, but i especially like Kitty's, i don't know, it's just so great! ^^

I am writing a lot of Dramione fics lately and it dawned on me, Draco and Hermione's kids would be soo cute!
Can you imagine a little brown headed girl who has Hermione's intellect and Draco's attitude?

Or vice versa like have a blond little boy that looks like Draco but has hermione's way of thinking?

I bet their kids would be cute. I was thinking about that while I started just writing a story called "Daddy, what's a Death Eater?"

Heh basically Draco and Hermione get a glimpse of what their lives would be like in the future if they were to get together. They show up in the future-cuz of something going wrong- and have to hide from their adult selves as well as their future kids. It's got some funny parts and I'm already on chapter 2.
Anyway, back to the subject- I think that their kids would be from the best of both worlds.

GO SWIFT!!!! Muahahahahahahahaha! I love draco/hermione fics. Can't help it. Some great writers have made those... Most of the ones I've read are amazing. Brilliant. So err yeah I had to support this topic because I'm all for it. (I'm still a Harmony fan *shifty eyes*)

But now I can't read other fics where Draco is all mean and pushy because I go "He wouldn't do THAT! Wait... he would......" Its actually quite funny because I go into this spasm then go and read a Dramione fic to make myself feel better. I have a whole Dramione fic in my head at this very moment I just haven't wrote it completly down yet. I've written the first chapter in a notebook however...

SOMEONE PLEASE PM me a good Dramione fic SOMEWHERE. I was looking all over for another one. This is what I found. "Somehow or another Malfoy and Hermy see each other whether its at their house or neighborhood by force or whatever. They both have thoughts of how hot they both are. Malfoy snogs Hermy out of no where. Hermy likes it and Ron and Harry are moderatly angry. Hermy seems to forget that Draco has hated her forever and just all of a sudden loves her tremendously. WHAT?! It doesn't make sense! Just because Tom Feltin is a good looking actor doesnt mean you have to make Draco nice and kind. The only evil thing I got out of him were smirks. He was only flirtacious and that was it. No anger toward anybpody no misgivings. ARGH! Someone show me a good Dramione fic PLEASE. I'm dying! DYING!!!!! I keep updating this post.... Oh gosh. I never thought of Hermione and Draco as a couple until I started this site, and I still didn't like the idea. But Jesse sent me one of his fan fictions and I was kinda awed by the pairing.

Sorry about my last post, I believe I was going crazy. I couldn't find a realistic Dramione fic anywhere. It was horrid. I couldn't even read the HUmor section to calm me down. I was too sad.

How many times must i say it NO! Dramione not cool! Drinny is better then Dramione, by alot! I don't like Dramione! Not at all, i used to like it, but now i don't. Its too, and it interferes with Harmione......

Ron Hermione is to boring for me (no offense to any shippers...) because it's already happening in the books...i can read about in the books i don't want to read about it in ff too.

Drinny is okay, but Glaise aka Blinny is better...to me. Blinny or hinny. I'd go for ron and pansy or ron and luna.

I like Dramione! I like how you can put them in so many different scenerios and obstacles. Draco is really a tough character and I think Hermione could actually be the one to break through him, but i shipper Harmione!! its nemuero uno!!!!

Draco and Hermione forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly think that these two could work out even if it doesn't happen in the books. They do have chemistry.

Draco has his shield up all the time, but sometimes I think he might have a soft spot for Hermione even though he doesn't show it. We saw him in Book 6, how he was crying in Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom. I think he's good and only pressured to do what he's told because of his father.

I think if Hermione had been the one who found him in the bathroom, everything would have turned out different. She probably would have kept listening and found out the truth and who knows they could have became friends and maybe more later on! )yes, my head runs wild on ideas...lol)

Yes but Ron is a complete opposite of Hermione as well, and usually good girls like her, develop an attraction towards people that are nothing like them, besides, Draco and Hermione are more alike than you think, when you read the books there are similiarities you can find. I dont think Hermione and Ron's personalities go together either. Besides, i totally think their friendship is better than a relationship. Although he is everything Hermione hates, he could be everything she loves as well. The whole I hate you but i love you thing. Thats how I am with the person i like, i hate him so much, yet i like him a lot. :D

That's what's so great about Dramione fics.

Either Draco/hermione can be good, bad, 1 good 1 bad, and through the future-since we won't see where the actual Harry Potter future will go-so future is good to think about for doing these fics.

What got me into Dramione was wytchkitty's story-which I will keep bugging her about till she posts it all up on hpff. Heh, I'm so mean. She's got some chapters of the sequel(she won't let me read them cuz she thinks I'd go around telling people spoilers? wonder where she got an idea like that) anyway, I am writing some fics with some people, and I am going to post them up on my site and maybe some other sites later.
I don't see why canon shippers hate this ship so much- I mean it's just our imaginations thirsting for something non-canon right? :D I like canon and JK is an awesome writer. I just find fanon cool cuz we all get to mix and match characters, kinda like mixing clothing styles if you think about it haha! :lol:

Yes, Jesse, you WILL go around spoiling it, because that's what you did with some of her later chapters that she hasn't posted up on HPFF yet!!! If you don't remember, I gave you a good whacking for it. But Kitttttyyyy.... updaaaate..... because your Dramione is the best one out there...... *pleads*

I think there's one thing wrong with this ship. It gets way too repetitive after a while. All the fics are mostly the same - Head Boy, Head Girl, confined to the same common room, Hermione's parents DIE, Draco comforts her, woo! ROMANCE! XD

Well then there's the occasional one where Draco/Hermione are NOT head boy/ girl, end up fighting cuz hermione sees he has gotten his hands on a timeturner and as they are tug of warring over it, it zaps them to the future, where not only do they doom their pasts but find themselves dead in the future with their kids crying over them...-and must make a painful sacrifice to either change the past or face this as their real future--okay yes this is my upcoming fic heh but i like mine to be different and angsty...
