The Winter Ball

Dani nodded in agreement, it seemed like the whole hall was screaming at something.

She looked around wondering what it was and she spotted that there was no DJ on the stand.

Looks where she's looking, noticing the no DJ

"Hmm, You could take over..."

"Seeing as you can't dance."

Dani smiled "Yeah, I'll be the DJ." She started to hobble over to the area and slid some music in.

Yawns, sleepily and wonders behind the speakers

"Just don't put on any rap."

"Or country for that matter.."

"Oh you've never don't line dancing then," She grinned and put in Cotton Eyed Joe just to annoy him.

"Okay everyone!" She yelled into a mike. "I'm your DJ for tonight,so we're gonna start off with Cotton eye Joe. So take four steps to the left and now to the right, four steps forward. A lasso back. Left left, right right. Left right click. Okay go."

He slaps a hand to his forehead

"How..can anyone listen to this?"

"It's /awful./"

"Oh, your just saying that," She joked and changed the song to 'Where is the Love?' "It's about 9/11," She muttered but still loving the song she put it in and prssed play.

'9/11?' he wondered to himself, '..The polices number?'

"Wow...You can put on whatever you like.."

He smirks

"I'll probably end up hating every single one though"

Dani grinned and switched the song to something more likeable, 'The I saw her face' "And started to imagin herself dancing.

"..Still bad, but leave it. People will get annoyed if you keep changing it."

"Nothing will satisfy you, will it?" She asked.

He smirks

"Nope."

Dani laughed and the song ended, "Fine then her's Shikeria's Hips don't lie," She slid the CD in and pushed play. "Hope you like it, it'll be coming on and off all night..." She joked

"Oh dear god. All the song is, is some hip hop girl singing about how good and pretty and how..awesome her hips are the whole time" Rolls his eyes

"Don't see why everyone loves it.."

"It's a good beat, you'd like it too if you were a belly dancer." She said

"Two problems there, I hate hip hop and, I would never, EVER be a bellydancer...Especially since I'm a boy.."

Crosses his arms

"There are male Belly Dancers, you know." Dani said frowning. "They are some of the best Belly Dancers I know, and Magic Fingers the drumer. There are lots of Belly Dancing males."

"That's...revolting."

"I don't even wanna picture it."

"Really?" Dani asked.

~Brunette entered the great hall wearing a brand new dress that she had brought over in Hogsmeade during the last visit. She looked around for anyone she knew~

Dani waved at Mila from her spot on the DJ's stand, she didn't know her very well but she'd was just out of school and she'd seen her last year working with the DA.

"I've never watched them, never have wanted to."

Glances over to where she's waving.

"You'll have to excuse me," She said. "You jocky for a bit, I'm gonna go change."

She smiled and hobbled out of the room, to redye her hair and change into some cleaner clothes.

"'Jocky'?

He shrugs and takes over as DJ, putting on "Stricken" by Disturbed.

"..."

Dani nodded and continued her flight up the stairs. Reaching her common room, she hobbled in and changed into one of her mini skirts with some leggings under and a 80's jacket she'd inherited from her mother, under that was her tank top that read, I love the 80's. Smiling she went to put the finishing touches on her hair.

*Scarlet walked back into the Great hall in a brand new Dark red dress and walked over to the DJ*
"Can you play Snow partol run pleasee"She said fluttering her eyelashes

Traci walked back in. wearing a tight black dress and she died her hair black just for the night she hoped she looked ok

Glances down at Scarlet.

Flutters his eyelashes back at her

Dani coming back into the Great Hall had abandoned her crutches and was walking freely now. Her ankle still hurt but it was the third day and Pomfrey had given her premission to start walking again.

She had dyed her hair again, only orange and green now. And she smiled as she pushed open the doors. Spotting Zex she waved.

The Stricken song ends and he puts on what Scarlet requested

Dani laughed and skipped to the refreshment table, so happy to be back on her feet.

Raises his brow at her but shrugs

"Happy to be off those crutches?"

He called to her

"Yes," She spun around dancing around happily. No one knew it but at the moment she was the happiest person alive.

Sandy had been up in her room the past three days. She didn't want to come out, and so she didn't, the world was not kind to her so she stayed put until she could handle it. First she had a boyfriend, scared him off, then she yelled at her cuz, who thens gets her ankel broken. So Sandy hid up in her room unti it was safe. for some reason she thought it was her fault that Dani's ankel broke. She didn't know why, but she just did. She looked out of the window, it was raining, the waterlogged window looked like her face, as plenty more tears spead feely down her face.

"Why does everything that makes me happy just suddenly just disappears?" She thought aloud before she went into a quiet slumber.

Dani frowned she hadn't seen much of Sandy and was extreamly worried about her. She stopped spinning and turned on her heels and ran away from the ball.

Once in the hall way she transformed into the beautiful black wolf that she could become. Running down the hall she tried to sniff out her cousin..

Traci walked over to dani in her tight leather dress and black hair "do i look ok?" she asked nervously

Dani startled in her wolf form spun on her heels and growled at the newcomer, seeing who it was she changed back quickly.

"Yeah Traci, you look fine." She held her head and nodded at the dress. "It's great."

Sandy was running through the forest, his laughter rang in her ears. He was getting closer, ever so closer, Sandy growled. 'I know what he wants but he'll never get it!' She thought visously.

the deep male voice laughted again as he said "Oh the contray my dear i get everything that i want!"

Sandy stared terrorfied as she saw him, she was trapped she looked around her fanticly trying to find away to ecape.

He continued "Sides it's not you who i want, i just enjoy seeing you writh in misary." He laughted evily.

To Sandy's horror it was Zex, and Dani was right next to him laughting at her. "Oh you poor Sandy, didn't you relised that it was just a game?" She looked and felt everything that ment the word evil. Her shriling laughed echoed through Sandy's every being. She just sat there no longer a wolf but back to herself crying misably to the fullmoon, but it didn't heal her, like it used to...

Dani waved at Traci again and transformed, running up the stairs sniffing around to find her cousin. Following her sent up the winding cordoirs up to the Gryffindor Common Room. The fat lady screamed when she saw DAni and ran from her painting as the door opened.

Dani pushed past the first year and ran up the steps that lead to the girls dorms. She ran into a room, and lept onto Sandy's bed and barked loudly changing it into a growl suddenly.

Sandy suddenly woke up from her cornner, and stared at the wolf. She just stared at it, since she hadn't eaten in days she had little strength to do much else. But somehow that wolf was fermiler, Sandy didn't know how, but she had a gut feeling.

Sandy looked at it's beautiful glossy coat, and at it's icey blue eyes. then she felt dizzy and colasped.

Dani stared back at her cousin, hoping that she'd reconizer her through the fur. She gave a wolfish grin and Sandy colapsed. Growling to herself she noticed her cousin was famished and looked weak.

She grabbed her on the cuff of her robes and pulled her out of the bed and onto the floor, she dragged her down the stairs until she reached the great hall...

Sandy felt like she was being dragged, but she didn't care, she was so weak to do anything. Her eyelids would futter every now and then, but they wouldn't stay open long enough to get a good picture.

Dani transformed again and lifted her cousin to her feet. "Now listen!" She said forcefully. "I care about you and if you ever pull a stunt like this again. I'll show you what else I can do to you." She growled.

Sandy blinked as she saw her cousin, and then she jumped and did the cross against her. "Evil" She muttered, then quickly looked around herself. "Both Evil" Then glanced at the sun, then sighed with relief, "The Light Saved ME!" Then she did a little happy dance. as Dani looked at her like she was crazy.

"Damnit! Sandy your deranged, now go eat." She pushed her into the great hall.
