1st House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V GRYFFINDOR: 24th-28th

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Swift had come outta no where and somehow was on a course to stop him from scoring which she unfortunately did!~

And it that wasn't bad enough...suddenly Jesse heard a howling whistle eminating from behind him and as he turned around ...

WHAM!!!!!

~A bludger hit him right between the eyes and his head snapped back painfully. He rocked back and forth a bit before his world went black and he slid off his broom and plummeted to the ground below~

(Slytherin Beater)

"Oh no!" Whitney watched her captain fall off his broom and zoomed to catch him. She Zoomed her broom underneith him hoping to catch him that way, but as soon as he fell on the broom she lost control and they both landed roughly on the ground. "Oww Oww! My Leg!" She screeched trying to push the RDE off of her leg. She looked around her and saw her broom scattered in peices everywhere. She groaned and waited for Poppy to arive.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber cringed knowing that she did that.::

"Sorry!" ::She called.::

Cat saw Whitney fall.

"Whitney!!!" Cat yelled, "Someone get Mandam Pomfry"

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

"Ugh...what happened?" ~Jesse lifted his head from the ground and looked up dazed. His face was smeared with bits of blood and his head was throbbing with pain. It looked that Gryffindor was going to fight back after all~

~He looked to see Whitney laying there~ "Whit? You okay!" He shouted then he saw her broom shattered across the ground. He looked around for his own broom and not seeing it he called out "Accio Nimbus 2007"
~It came flying to him and he clutched it in his hand. He glanced up seeing that Poppy had arrived and now whit was to get the medical attention she needed ~
~He refused to stop for it though and mounted his broom, though he was still dizzy. And he flew back up into the air to get back into the game~

"Thats the last time I ever try to save someone," She grumbeled as Poppy worked her leg. "I only end up injuring myself more." She smiled as she was all patched up now and looked at her broken broom. "Accio Firebolt." she said and heard a window break as her firebolt zoomed after her. "One broom down three to go" She said jumping on the broom and zooming up in the air.

{Slytherin Beater}

Val, coming out of a daze winced as she saw two of her team members hit the ground. Relieved that they were still able to play, she knew Slytherin was going to have to fight back harder. And /she/ knew that she was going to have to do her job better! She could have easily saved Jesse from that bludger had she been paying attention.

'Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.' she thought. Her senses picked up as she heard a bludger soaring towards her.

"Ah ha!" She grinned happily, she leapt to her feet on her broom, and reached out, grabbing it. 'Now who has it..' she looked around, and spotted the Quaffle on Swift.

'Gotcha..' she grinned, zooming over, she threw the bludger up in the air, once it came back to her, she sent it directly at Swift.

"Omigosh, Whit, Jesse are you two okay?!?!" She asked, stilling keeping her eyes on the field, rushing over to them.

(Gryffindor Keeper)

Amy flew onto the pitch, late because she'd been hard at work all day. She took her position at the goalposts, and looked out onto the game.

It seemed as though Jesse had crash landed, but he was re-mounting his broom and flying back into the game. Amy circled the hoops, keeping her eye on the quaffle, hoping that it wouldn't come her end, but knowing that if it did, she'd be ready to save it and throw it back into the game.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza saw that jesse was dazed and not totally in control - of himself or the broom. Taking advantage of this she hit a bludger toward him, grinning. Oh well she thought he'll be ok. Then as she turned around to the rest of the game she saw a bludger speeding toward lisa. "Watch out lisa!!" she yelled. She caught up with the bludger and hit it back at Val. "Take That!" she yelled.

{Slytherin Beater}

She scowled, as she heard the bludger whirling back at her. She turned away from Jesse and looked to where it came from, Aliza. She snarled, and readied her bat, using the momentum that Aliza had already sent at her, to send it back at Swift. Her original target.

"Yeah? Well take THAT!" She grinned.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza frowned as she saw the bludger coming back towards swift. She sighed and pulled her arm back again to whack it. Thankfully she hadnt moved from lisa's side, feeling it best to protect the chaser with the quaffle. Deciding against hitting the bludger toward Val she scanned the pitch. Instead she hit the bludger toward Jesse again.

{Slytherin Beater.}

She growled, seeing it soaring towards Jesse. She was still near Jesse, asking if he was okay.

"Well /that/ wasn't very nice! Hitting it at a down opponent!" She grinned, speaking in a jokeish matter. She flew quickly over to Jesse, and having no time to aim the bludger, she just sent it away from him. It flew over to the Gryffie Keeper.

"Whoops..Oh well."

Gryffindor Beater

Seeing the bludger soaring to amy she frowned, it would do no good to have the keeper down. She flew toward the bludger and seeing Val next to Jesse she turned and decided to hit the bludger toward an unsuspecting whitney. When she heard a crack she grinned and turned away, looking for more bludgers.

(Gryffie Chaser - what am I, a Bludger-punchbag??)

Growling at the first bludger that had been hit her way, Swift relaxed once Aliza hit it back at the offending Slytherin. She continued flying towards the goalposts, keeping her head low, when she suddenly felt something hard grazwe across the top of her head, hitting iit slightly before it sped off in the same direction it was going.

"Like... ow," she mumbled, knowing that there was going to be a bruise there sooner or later. However, her main focus now was to get that Quaffle in the goalposts - a throbbing headache wouldn't deter her too much.

She could feel her broom slowing - evidently her strength was weakening and it was affecting her broom.

"Come on, come on..." she urged it forwards, her head pounding like the Bludger was repeatedly bashing against it.

Once at the goalposts, she took a wild aim towards one, then hovered slowly to the ground, clutching her head.

The last thing she heard before passing out was a loud 'ding'.

Yaaaaaay....

Gryffindor Beater

"Oh god!" Aliza said to herself as lisa passed out. Looking around she saw no-one had noticed. "Does this mean I have to save her??" Sighing she sped toward lisa who was falling fast. After some manuvering she managed to catch lisa still safetly on her broom. She let lisa's broom fall to the ground - she had enough to deal with. She landed smoothly and placed lisa on the ground. Pulling out her wand she muttered "enervate" and as lisa came to she handed her a broom. "welcome back" she grinned at lisa then turned to madam pomfrey "fix her head and then get her back in the air" turning back to lisa she said "get well soon, we need to win this game" then she pushed off into the air again. She flew after a nearby bludger...

(Gryffie Chaser)

Feeling more than slightly groggy, Swift shook her head, making a soft 'grr' after putting her hands down into damp grass and soil. As she pushed herself up from the ground, she grabbed her slightly splintered broom from the ground.

"Darn it..."

She prodded the slight spike in the wood, and decided that it would be flyable. She took off from the ground, her head spinning slightly. It was some time before she saw the Quaffle, being passed between the Slytherin chasers.

She signalled to June and Rick, and they both nodded their heads. Time to put Chasing skills into play!

Gryffindor Beater

Glad to see lisa back in the air she decided to get lisa some help in retrieving the quaffle. She hit the bludger at the quaffle and watched as the quaffle veered off course. She just hoped that lisa, or one of the other chasers, would be able to retrieve it before the slytherins did.

Amy was still circling the goalposts, glad to see that the quaffle was in posession of Gryffindors. There was nothing more she could do until the Slytherin's had it again, which she hoped wouldn't happen (for a while yet, anyway).

She let out a whoop of encouragement for her Gryffindor teammates, then went back to concentrating on the game.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick nodded at Swift and took off down the pitch. He signaled to the others that he was going to try and get close to the keeper so that they could score. He felt oddly behind in this game so far and felt compelled to make up for it.

Swift tossed June the quaffle and then flew ahead to head off the Slytherin chasers. Rick flew underneath June and grabbed the quaffle as she dropped it. Flying low to the broom he shot forward and was almost to the keeper when a bludger came hurtling towards him from one of the Slytherin beaters.

He ducked the bludger and took a shot at the goalposts, making it sail through the center hoop and scoring one more for Gryffindor. He turned back and high-fived June and Swift as they flew towards the center of the pitch.

{Sly, Beater}

Val scowled, and narrowed her eyes. Waiting for the Quaffle to go into possession of someone. In the mean time, she readied her bat and found a bludger. Flying at it full speed, she knocked into Aliza on the way to it. She was annoyed with her, constantly sending her bludgers back..She crashed into as hard as she could, while only taking minimal damage herself.

Arriving at the bludger, she decided to send it flying to Amy again, full speed, in hope that it would knock their keeper down.

(Gryffindor keeper)

Amy was still circling the posts, waiting for a Slytherin to throw the quaffle towards her end, when all of a sudden she noticed a bludger hurtling towards her. She rolled over on her broom so that she was underneath it, and the bludger soared overhead.

But the bludger hit off the side of the railings and back towards her. Amy rolled back over, and then lunged to the side, the bludger narrowly missing the side of her body. It sailed off back into the middle of the game, and Amy breathed a sigh of relief.

Gryffindor seeker

Cristina was circling over the pitch, looking around for the snitch. As it wasn't anywhere in sight, she decided to have a bit of fun and began waving her Gryffindor scarf and shout "Go team!". She got some angry looks from the Slytherins but what was even worse, was that as she was waving her scarf, a bludger came directly towards it and somehow - she couldn't even imagine how this was possible - the scarf got entangled around the bludger and was frantically "dancing" around her, either trying to pull her away, either hitting her forcefully.

"Ouch! Ouch!" she shouted at every blow, "Heeelp!"

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick was not at all happy with the way these Slytherin's were playing. Talk about dirty tactics, he thought. Turning his attention back to the game, he saw one of the Slytherin chasers with the quaffle flying towards the Gryffindor keeper who had just survived a bludger attack. Well, he thought, if they want dirty, I'll give them dirty. Turning his broom, he layed flat against it and took off after the chaser.

As he neared the chaser, he stuck his left arm out and took a swipe at the quaffle making it fall out of their hands. Angling the broom down, he shot off after the quaffle and recoverd it as the Slytherin player was bearing down on him. He didn't even know the person's name, just that if he didn't move they would barrel into him. Seeing June, he tossed her the quaffle and took off after her trying to keep the other Slytherinis from getting to her. He flew inbetween her and a beater who was trying to aim the bat at her, possibly waiting for a bludger, but as to that fact he wasn't sure. He leaned forward and urged his Firebolt to go as fast as it could and he quickly put himself inbetween the two of them. He flew alongside her until she was able to shoot and score another ten points for Gryffindor.

After June had scored, he noticed Cristina fighting with a bludger that was lodged in her scarf. Taking off towards her, he reached her and tried to grab the bludger and scarf comination and release it from its confines. The bludger seemed to get angrier every second as it kept hitting one or both of them. He grabbed the scarf and pulled it to his chest, pulling the bludger along with it. He wrenched the scarf around and around trying to untangle it, and when he finally did the bludger went speeding off after Cristina. She ducked and the bludger came back after Rick. He wasn't as quick as she was and the bludger made contact with his left shoulder before he let go of the scarf and started falling a bit. Righting himself, he returned to the match to see who had the quaffle, saying "You're welcome" to Cristina.

{Sly, Beater}


Val scowled at Rick, then went flying over to him, seeing he was pretty distracted she had a perfect aim with the bludger. She sent it flying right into his stomach, it made contact. 'Yay!! Take that, sucker!!'

She flew past him and shouted, "Watch yourself, hmm??" Grinning, taking the bludger again, sending it at the keeper who had managed to avoid her last attack.

"Come on, Slytherin!!"

(Gryffie Chaser)

Swift watched in horror as Val hit Rick straight in the stomach. He doubled over, clutching his middle, and she immediately flew over to help. Waving her hand at Cris' scarf, the Bludger immediately became free, and flew off, only to hit Nancy in the arm on its way to freedom.

"Oh... oops." Grinning slightly, Swift decided that she really needed a medic to help. She flew Rick over to the Gryffindor changing rooms, where she knew WL was watching the match.

"Okay, hubby dearest," she yelled on landing, "time to get him FIXED!"

Leaving WL to heal Rick, Swift flew back onto the pitch, only to see June with the Quaffle. They made eye contact across the air, and immediately began flying towards each other at high speeds. This was another risky move - within that split second of contact they had when they met, June had to pass the Quaffle to Swift.

She urged her broom on, seeing June approach as quickly as she was doing. She concentrated her hardest, keeping her eyes on the ball and June's arm movements. Just as they met, June released the Quaffle, sending it falling downwards. Smirking, Swift pulled her broom upwards and out of the plane that she was flying in, arcing backwards to follow June, who was flying, still as fast, below her. She saw Rick gaining his speed, the Quaffle in his hands, 15 feet below June, and made her descent towards the goalposts.

Cat the keeper was hovering there, and it was June who reached her first, veering off to the right to confuse her. As Swift reached the goalposts, she went to the left, leaving the centre post free for Rick to score in - which he did do in his ascent towards it.

"YES!!!"

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched from above at all that was going on. Jesse had been hit by a few bludgers, had fallen and Whit attempted to save him, she got hurt, Madaam Pomfrey came and now the game was in full swing again.

She darted to the middle of the pitch where she spotted the quaffle being thrown into play. She leaned her body forward to be able to accelerate a bit faster. The cold wind was blowing through her long blonde hair and her robes were billowing behind her.

Before long she was right in front of the quaffle. She gripped her firebolt tightly with her legs and reached her hands out straight in front of her. She felt the hard quaffle on the tips of her fingers and she grasped it tightly. She tucked the quaffle under her right arm and held the front of her broom tightly. She turned herself back around and began her rapid flight towards the Gryffindor side of the pitch. She scanned the field with her eyes and watched as Jesse and Jessie were close by. "Follow me!" She shouted over the loud sounds of the cheering crowds and the rushing winds.

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina was finally freed of that nasty bludger and she was really thankful to Rick and Swifty. She flew over to Swifty - "Thanks - you saved us!"
Then she landed shortly at the locker rooms and peeked in. "Hey Rick! Thanks for saving me! Everthing fine with you? I'm so sorry yaou had to get yourself into such a state... tell you what - you're getting a butterbeer from me after the game, and Swifty too!" With these words, she grinned and took off again, resuming her high postion that allowed her to overlook the whole field.

Amy noticed Nancy flying towards her goals, with the quaffle tucked under her arm. She gripped her broom and readied herself for when Nancy tried to score a goal.

Gryffindor Chaser

Someone or something crashed into Aliza nearly making her fall off her broom, to prevent the fall she flattened herself on the broom and held on tight. once she had regained control of her broom she looked around the pitch, sure now that it wasnt a bludger that had crashed in to her. She knew it was one of the slytherins and she had a pretty good idea who. Val. this means revenge she thought and flew toward the nearest bludger. She hit it as hard as she could toward Val and saw that it connected. She then turned around to inspect the pitch, seeing nancy flying toward amy she hit a bludger at her, hoping that she would be forced to drop the quaffle.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick grinned at Cristina and made his way back to the pitch where he saw Nancy going after Amy, the quaffle in her arm. Rick shot forward and reached Nancy before she had a chance to shoot the quaffle and grabbed the quaffle from her rather roughly sending her into a sort of dive. He yelled, "Send that to your beater for me," as he sailed off to the other side of the pitch. He saw the other two Slytherin chasers heading towards him leaving both June and Swifty wide open. He sped up right at the chasers heading towards him; he had to time it just right. He kept flying straight ahead at the chasers and as he was about to collide with him, he turned to the right and at the same moment he turned, he threw the quaffle to Swifty. He kept in his turn spinning faster and faster around the chasers drawing them together as June and Swifty shot towards the hoops and the Slytherin Keeper. He noticed the beaters shooting bludgers at the other Gryffindor chasers but they were ducking them easily. He turned his attention back to the move at hand and heard the crowd respond to another Gryffindor score. Pulling out of the Crowder, he turned and watched Nancy coming at him, a deadly gleam in her eye.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza glanced at rick, he seemed a little...tense. But then, that was to be expected, it was only his first game after all. She flew over to him "hey rick, whats up?" she smiled at him and whispered in his ear "how about we keep the game clean from now on??" he nodded at her and she knew that he'd listen. Breathing a sigh of relief she turned back to the game.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy was nearing the Gryffindor side of the goal posts when out of the corner of her eye she saw Prinny whack a bludger in her direction. She dropped her altitude quickly and just barely avoided being slammed in the head by it. She heard the bludger whiz by her head with a whisteling sound.

Nancy then pulled up hard on her broom and regained the altitude which she was flying at before. She was starting to get nearer to her destination when Rick came out of nowhere and grabbed the quaffle from her. "You will be sorry for that!" She snorted to her friend. She liked Rick. He was nice and Nancy was even going to be his best man in his upcoming wedding, but this was quidditch. Friendships had to be put aside, at least until the game was over.

She rounded her broom and turned hard so she was flying on the end of Rick's broom. Faster and faster she flew but she could not catch up to him in time. She saw him score and she cursed under her breath.

Nancy then watched as the quaffle was thrown back into play and she wasted no time speeding up to get it. She gripped it tightly with her left hand and held onto her broom tightly with her right. She swung her broom around and dashed towards the Gryffindor side of the pitch. She spotted Jesse and Jessie once more and again they flew close to her. She waited for one of them to be open so she could pass to them so they could make one of the plays that they had practiced in the weeks before the new term started.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick smiled at Aliza; she was really something else. He flew back to the game and kept what she said in his head. He knew he had been playing a little rough, and he was a little tense. Looking back around the game he saw Swifty with the quaffle and zoomed off to help her get to the goal posts.

Nancy made Rick chuckle; he enjoyed their back and forth banter, and she was a good friend. With thoughts of his wedding he turned attention back to the game.

June flew next to Rick and Swift. She whispered a plan taht she had to both of them and they took off. The three chasers formed the Hawkshead Attacking Formation and Swift was able to score a goal!

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney looked at Rick, June, and Swift and made a quick descion. She sped up to a bludger and hit it towards Rick. The bludger went soaring through the air and colided with the bristles of the broom, spinnning him out of control and knocking him into June.

Gryffindor Beater

Aliza saw Rick's broom had been hit and sighed...she was unable to prevent that bludger. Hoping rick and june sorted themselves out soon she sought out a bludger and hit it at whitney. She then turned around so whitney was let off her guard and hit another bludger at her performing an excellent bludger backbeat, she was glad she'd practised.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Snapping back to reality, Jessie looked around from her where she was hovering above the pitch. “Maybe I fell asleep on my broom…” She said, trying to figure out how she missed all this. Looking around she saw Nancy had possession of the dearest quaffle. She grabbed a tight hold of her broom and zoomed down to assist her twinny in scoring for Slytherin.

Swerving her way over to Nancy she called. “Twinnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!” Speeding up a bit, she flew side-by-side her twinny. “Hey, what I miss?” She said, her eyes alert for anything being sent their way.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy looked to her left and spotted Jessie, her Twinny was right next to her. "You missed a lot, but no worries." Nancy told her friend.

She continued her flight towards the goal posts and decided that it would be better to pass the quaffle over to Jessie. She had a more clear path to the goals. Just then a bludger came sailing at Nancy's head. "Twinny...QUICK!" Nancy screamed and threw the quaffle to her teammate.

Nancy had to make a sharp right to avoid the bludger and when she did she almost crashed into Whitney. "Sorry Whit!" She called out and then regained her footing and altitude and sped up to get on the tail end of Jessie. "Slaughter them!" She called out to her Twinny. An evil sneer spreading across her red lips.

Nancy flew behind Jessie and watched her carefully to see what her next play would be.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Luckily, Jessie was on high alert and caught the quaffle safely in her arms. “We meet again…” She spoke. Jessie tucked the quaffle under her arm and gripped her broom with her free hand. Leaning forward, she sped across the field towards the Gryffindor goal posts. "Slaughter them!" She heard Nancy shout. “Oh, I will!” She shouted back.

As she flew across the pitch she caught a glimpse of her twinny flying behind her. “Stalking me, huh?” She called, jokingly.

As she approached the goal posts, she started to swerve from left to right in attempt to confuse the Gryffindor Keeper, Amy. Amy was a gifted keeper, and Jessie knew this. A move stirring up in her brain, Jessie sharply pulled downwards into a dose dive. Once low enough, she pulled directly back up, mere inches infront of the right goal post. Flying upwards so was parallel with the goal post, she gripped the quaffle tighter. ‘One…two…three!’ she thought. On three she was just passing infront of the hoop and tossed the quaffle right in. Smiling she placed her hands firmly on the front of her broom and pulled backwards so she did a somewhat backwards flip in mid-air. “Woohoo!” She cheered, flying back to the center of the pitch.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick watched Jessie score a goal and took off after the quaffle when it was thrown back into play. Grabbing it with his left hand and aiming the broom with his right, he skillfully moved inbetween the Slytherin chasers, beaters and the bludgers that the beaters where sending his way. Ducking underneath the second bludger he felt the quaffle dig into his midsection and layed flat against the broom to get more speed. He was nearing the hoops when he heard the soft whistle of the bludger passing by his head. He thought he had ducked the bludger and took a shot with the quaffle sending it through the center hoop, narrowly getting by the Slytherin Keeper. As he let go of the quaffle another low whistle signaled yet another bludger, or is it the same one? He didn't have time to find out because as he turned around to make sure he had scored a sharp thwack! was heard as the bludger slammed into his left shoulder blade, snapping it into three or four different pieces. He was lucky he was able to control the broom with his right hand; he made it to the ground just outside the Gryffindor locker room where Madam Pomfrey healed him up real quick. Returning back to the game he jumped on his broom and soared into the middle of the pitch waiting for the quaffle.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy saw Rick score with his quick possesion time with the quaffle. She shook her head and glared at him for a moment and then darted towards the now back in play quaffle.

She flew fast and strong against the wind and before long she had caught up with the quaffle. She reached her hands out and grasped it tightly. She turned her head to her left and she saw Jessie not too far from her. "Twinny! Rattlesnake shake!" She screamed out and then she quickly flew to the Slytherin side of the pitch. She needed to be a good distance away from the goal posts in which she needed to score in for this play to work out the way it was sopposed to.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie looked around and noticed Rick make an extremely fast goal. “Darn it.” She muttered. From the corner of her eye she saw the large red ball get thrown back into play. Instantly her twinny shot into action. Gripping her broom she decided to soar over and fly behind Nancy. After Nancy caught the ball, she heard her shout "Twinny! Rattlesnake shake!"

Jessie smiled brightly at this. The Rattlesnake shake was by far one of her favorite plays… and they used it often. She saw Nancy fly swiftly across the entire pitch and she soon followed after her. This play was definitely going to need a lot of room if no one wanted to get injured.

Catching up and hovering next to her twinny she said, “So who’s being the human quaffle this time? You or I?” She asked, her smile only growing.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched her Twinny closely and saw that she was getting into the right position for the rattlesnake shake. :I love this one!" She smiled, a hint of excitement in her voice. "I think it's your turn to be the one who gets to be the human quaffle this time." Nancy smiled at her Twinny in the wickedest of ways. "It's a whole new experience to feel the rush and excitement from this most awesome of plays."

Nancy tossed the quaffle into Jessie's arms and flew the short distance to get behind her Twinny. She gripped her own broom tightly between her legs and reached out her hands and grasped the end of Jessie's broom.

Nancy then put the play into motion. She slowly at first began to spin around, spinning Jessie on her broom in circles. Then she picked up the pace as the momentum from the spinning and the gravity cooperated with her. Faster and faster she spun Jessie on her broom until Nancy was so dizzy she knew it was time to make her move. "On the count of three!" Nancy yelled. "1.....2....3!"

When she hit the number three Nancy let go of Jessie's broom and aimed her towards the Gryffindor side of the pitch. She watched as Jessie salied through the air at lightening speed. She reamined stationary for a few moments as her head was spinning in circles from all the twirling.

(Slytherin Chaser)

"I think it's your turn to be the one who gets to be the human quaffle this time." Jessie smiled when she heard this. She’d never been the human quaffle before! “Woot!” She cheered. Catching the quaffle, she tighted her legs around her broom and gripped the front with her free hand. “All ready.” She confirmed. Slowly Nancy began spinning her around… and around… and around. "1....” Ok… ”2.... Here we go… “3!" And she’s off!

“Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!” Jessie shouted as she flew through the air. For a moment there she completely forgot about having to score! She focused her eyes sharply on the middle hoop and tried her hardest not to get too dizzy. “Closer….closer….closer….almost there….” She thought as the hoops seemed to grow nearer and nearer. “One…” She said, gripping the broom tighter with her free hand. “Two…” She said, holding the quaffle closer. “Three!” She was through! She had just sailed right through the center hoop, quaffle in her hand, thus scoring for the Slytherin quidditch team. Dropping the quaffle to be thrown into play, she threw both of her hands to the front of her broom and gripped it tightly, trying to stop the spinning. After a moment, the broom (and Jessie) finally came to a stop and Jessie raised a hand to her head as she waited for the dizziness to go away. “All better.” She smiled. “That was awesome!” She called, as she approached her twinny.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick watched the move the Slytherins pulled off just then, and laughed. Leave it to Nancy to come up with or be a part of something so, well, potentially stupid. Granted on this occasion it worked and they scored, but had everything not gone right, who knows how much damage could have been done. He soared down and grabbed the quaffle before the two Slytherins got their act together and took off for the Slytherins side and shot straigth toward the keeper, not even trying to slow down as he neared the posts. Reaching back with his right hand he let go with all his might and just barely clipped the inside of the center hoop; it bounced out and smacked the bristled on the back of the keepers broom. Unfortunately for the keeper, she turned just enough that the quaffle shot off through the left hoop, effectively scoring a goal for the other team. Laughing at this twisted spin of events he shot off a goofy grin at Nancy and mouthed "Ha,Ha,Ha" before turning back for the quaffle to be thrown back in the air.

(Gryffindor Chaser)
Though June was a Gryffie and the Slytherins had scored, she had to admire their style. Well let's give them a taste of their own medicine, she thought after seeing Rick's goal. She motioned Rick and Swift to her. "Let's do the Crushing Crusade," she said to them. They nodded and flewthrough the air. June got the quaffle and she, Rick, and Swift flew closely together while simultaeniously (sp?) passing the quaffle amongst each other. At the Slytherin goalposts, the keeper was confused about who had the quaffle. Suddenly, Swift and Rick shot away from June, distracting the keeper, and June scored! "Take that, Nancy!" she shouted.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick high-fived Swifty and June and made his way to the center of the pitch, stealing the quaffle from Nancy in the process. He tossed it to June and she in turn passed it to Swifty who shot forward around the back of the hoops and came back around pretending to shoot it in and instead passing it to Rick who shot it into the right hoop while the keeper protected the left and center hoop. Rick pumped his fist in the air and returned to the center of the pitch.

She turned her head in time to see the bludger Swifty had sent at her make contact with her side.

"Oowwww!!" She let out a shriek of pain. 'Alright..don't worry about it, just keep playing!' she told herself, recomposing herself. She flew over to Whit and grinned.

"Let's work together!"

June grabbed the quaffle after it had been put back in play. She quickly avoided a bludger by doing a one-handed sloth grip roll, a variation for chasers.

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina was still circling above the qudditch pitch, but the snitch was nowhere in sight. Neverthless, she decided to do a Wronski Feint - just to confuse the Slytherin Seeker, so she dazed off at great speed around the pitch.
