1st House Quidditch: SLYTHERIN V GRYFFINDOR: 24th-28th

Cat cursed June under her breath......

Cat was doing horrible today, but she was going to try her hardest not to let another shot by.

{Slytherin Beater}

Val scowled at June, and then grinned at Cat.

"Nice try!! I'll try and bludger her next time."

She grabbed a wandering bludger and held it tight and flew straight for June, not trying for stealth this time. She took the bludger in her right hand, better throwing arm and chucked it at her.

"Haha!!" She grinned, taking a sharp curve around her, bashing her on her way around.

(Gryffie Chaser)
June swayed as Val hit her. Then she heard Val's "Haha!" and turned her head in time to see a bludger heading her way. "Crap," she shispered as she pushed her broom downwards in time to avoid the bludger. Suddenly, as June leveled out her broom, she found that she was grabbing the quaffle. Hmmm, she thought. I must have caught it on my way down. Tucking the beloved quaffle under her arm, Juneflew towards the Slytherin goalposts. Cat was there and she looked angry. Uh-oh, June thought. I better be careful here. June feinted to the left, to the right, and to the left again. Hoping that luck smiled upon her, June shot the quaffle at a curved angle so that it barely evaded Cat and sailed through the center hoop. June sighed in relief as she realized that she had scored another goal for Gryffindor!

Cat blocked it from going through.

She sneered at june when she appeared to be celebrating.

'she should really learn to pay better attention' Cat thought

"What you cheering for," Cat chuckled, "my wonderful blocking?"

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

~Jesse laughed and pointed at June who had almost scored a goal but not quite seeing as how Cat had managed to block it~

"Good save!" Jesse shouted to Cat happily~

[slytherin keeper]

Cat smiled happily.

"Thanks Jesse," Cat shouted back to him.

She them jokeingly did the best bow she could do on a broom.

Amy watched as June scored...but not, apparantly. She hovered around her goalposts, waiting for the action to be brought to her end, but also hoping that it wouldn;t be - because that would mean Slytherin were in posession of the quaffle.

She did a couple of mid-air rolls to burn off excess energy, and then grinned at her team mates. She felt the game was going well, although there is always room for improvement!

She flew in and out of her goal hoops, waiting for the time she would be needed to prevent Slytherin scoring.

(Gryffie Chaser)
June groaned as she saw that her score had not been a score. She grabbed the quaffle and quickly and angrily shot it through the hoop. This time she was sure that it went through because she heard the "ding" of the bell.

{Slytherin Beater}

Val flew over to Cat and gave her a high-five. "Way to go on that last save!" She grinned, and flew off. 'What to do..what to do.' She frowned, in search of a bludger.

"Ah ha! Gotcha!!" A smile curved on her face as she hit her bat at the bludger, sending it off at Rick.

On her way over to find another one, she floats a bit below June and then sharply swerves up and hits June's broom with her right shoulder and arm, hearing a snapping sound, she grinned and then shouted back,

"Sorrry!!!"

June cringed as her arm became dislocated. Balancing on her broom, she flew onehanded as with her uninjured hand, she used her wand to heal her injury. June glared at Val. Where is the referee? she thought. Rolling her eyes, June got the quaffle and did the Loop around Val and Cat. She flew in a circle around the two slytherin players at high speed until June broke the circle and threw the quaffle through the left hoop. It went in, that she was sure of. Jund had learned an important lesson after her goal had been blocked by Cat: always be sure of everything. June laughed at Val and Cat as they swayed on their brooms.

She flew around a bit until June circled around her, she narrowed her eyes and flew out of her circle, frowning, she lost track of her bludger...Sighing, she went off in search of another one, after finding one, she flew in close to Nancy and got her bat ready, grinning.

(Slytherin Captain and Chaser)

~With the intensity of the game heating up, there was only a matter of time until things started getting more violent and vicious. Jesse watched as June scored and grumbled. He'd had enough of watching and now he was back in the game. Zooming in a graceful arc, he managed to swoop down right in front just as the gryffindor keeper threw the quaffle back into the game.~

~He snatched it from the air and spun around just avoiding swift, rick and june's reach. He did a triple backflip- nose dive and spiraled down a short distance keeping his grip on the quaffle.~

~His blue eyes flickered with determination and he grinned as he looked at who was waiting below him. In a subtle yet sporadical motion, he timed the move just right and using his wonderful sense of accuracy, he dropped the quaffle below him and then grabbed the neck of his broom and pulled it upwards letting himself fly up a good distance above his two chaser team mates~

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched her teammates carefully and saw that Jesse swooped in and grabbed the quaffle. "YESSSSSSS!" She shouted and then turned her broom hard and dashed after her Husband as he made his way to the goalposts. She watched as Jesse spiraled and twisted and turned his broom gracefully through the air. He was as comfortable in the air on a broom as she was. Together the three flew side by side toards the opposite end of the pitch.

Nancy then quickly dropped her broom down to a lower altitude. She flew directly below Jesse and waited for him to make his next move.

She cleared her head and focused her eyes intently on Jesse as he dropped the quaffle below to her. She grabbed the quaffle tightly and shot straight up flying in a virticle direction. As she flew up she spiraled on her broom, twisting and turning to gain more speed.

Nancy then steadied her broom to a horizontal position and steadied herself. She the quaffle tightly with her right hand and steered her broom with the left. She was close to the goals now, as was Jesse.

She took aim at the left goalpost and reached her hand out to throw the quaffle through. Then she brought her hand back, still holding the quaffle and then flew next to Jesse who was on her left. "Take this!" She said and then passed the quaffle to him. She then flew around behind him and flew on his right side side. "Never mind!" She laughed and took the quaffle back into her possesion. She winked at him and then pulled her broom up hard to get closer to the middle post. She circled around it twice and then threw the quaffle in scoring another 10 points for Slytherin.

She then turned her broom around and flew back over to her Hubby. "That was fun! Lets do it again!" She smiled at him and then turned her broom around and sped up to the center of the pitch once more.

(Gryffindor Chaser)
June intercepted the quaffle when it was thrown back into play and signaled Swift and Rick while Nancy and Jesse closed in on her. June appeared to be slowing down, but it was all part of the play: the Piercing Penetration. Nancy, Jesse, and Jessie were really close to her now. "Now!" June shouted to Swift and Rick.

(Slytherin Chaser)

"Quaffle... oh quaffle-y quaffle-y quaffle-y." Jessie called as she searched the pitch for her precious, beloved, admired quaffle. Seeing it being thrown back into play, she gribbed her broom and shot off. But... what's this? June had beeten her to it? Jessie's mouth twitched into an evil sneer as she zoomed straight towards the Gryffie chaser. With one hand tightly gripping her broom, she slowed down just a tad so that she was flying side-bye-side June. "No one takes my quaffle." She said in a low and dangerous tone. In once swift motion she reached out with her free arm, snatched the quaffle, and pulled hard right and swerved around to face the Gryffie goal posts.

"I missed you!" She said to the quaffle. Shifting her eyes to her twinny beside her, she said, "I trust you twinny. Take good care of quaffle-y." Jessie then tossed the quaffle straight into her twinny's arms.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched with great pleasure as Jessie stripped the ball away from June. "She didn't really need that anyway!" Nancy called out to her Twinny. Nancy dashed off after Jessie, her long blonde hair blowing in the wind. It was quite knotted now and she was sure she had looked better than what she looked like right now. No worries though, there was plenty of time to beautify herself once the game was over.

Nancy's head snapped back to the game and watched Jessie like a hawk. She saw her fly closer and closer to the goals and Nancy followed her and then flew up beside her. "Helloooooo" Nancy sang to Jessie and flashed her a smile. "You trust me eh?" Nancy laughed as Jessie tossed her the quaffle.

Nancy grabbed the quaffle tightly and flew hard and fast towards the Gryffindor goalposts. She zigzagged to avoid a bludger that was coming right at her. Luckily she was able to avoid it's wrath this time.

Nancy then pulled her broom down hard and began to do a nosedive when she was just before the left hoop. Down, down, down she flew until she was only a few feet from the ground. She then pulled up hard and started to spin and spiral as she flew up, up, up towards the goals. Seeing the goal coming up she slowly began to slow down, but was still going quite fast. As she flew past the goal at fast speed Nancy reached her arms out and shot the quaffle through the hoop at lightening speed. "WOOOHOOOOO!" She screamed and then flew over to Jessie and Jesse to celebrate.

June narrowed her eyes when Jessie had taken the beloved quaffle. She flew up to to where the quaffle was now in play and snatched it out of the air. June flew up to the Slytherin goalposts and made as if to shoot, while instead doing a reverse pass to Rick. Rick caught the quaffle, passed it back to her, and June scored in the left hoop."Yay!" June said as she high-fived him.

(Slytherin Beater)

Whitney looked around, apparnetly she must have fallen asleep furring the game but she was surely awake now. She smiled and saw a bludger flying at Nancy. She flew after it and hit the bludger over towards June instead.

(Gryffie Chaser)
June saw the bludger flying towards her and she flew up to avoid it. It boomeranged and shot back at her. Exasperated, June flew away from it and grabbed the quaffle when it had been thrown back into play. She made a quick and easy goal through the Slytherin goalposts; Cat seemed to be sleeping. June smiled as the bell dinged and she looked around for her teammates.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched as June made the quick goal and sneered at her. "We need to get our act together!" She muttered to herself. She flew over to Cat and looked her in the eyes. "Don't worry daughter dear you are doing a great job!" She smiled at Cat and then turned her broom around and flew towards the middle of the pitch where Cat was about to throw the quaffle back into play.

Nancy was hovering in mid air when all of a sudden a bludger came whizzing towards her. She was just getting ready to drop her altitude to avoid it but Whitney came along with her beaters bat and knocked it out of her path and towards June. Nancy smiled at Whitney, "That's my girl!" She said to her cheerfully and high fived her before setting her eyes back on Cat and the quaffle in her hands.

June saw a bludger heading her way and ducked. She glared at Whitney who had been responsible for the flying iron ball while she looked for the quaffle. June saw the quaffle in Nancy's hands and flew towards her. She manouvered her broom below the Slytherin chaser and hoping that she had the timing right, June completed the Shooting STeal. June concentrated and when the right moment came, she shot up like a muggle bullet, right below the quaffle in Nancy's hands. June snatched the quaffle from her opponent and flew in the opposite direction, towards the Slytherin goalposts. She feinted towards the center hoop, but then threw the quaffle through the left hoop. June waved her arms in the air when she saw the quaffle go through the hoop and the satisfying "ding" came to her ears.

::Amber watched the game deciding what to do next. She watched as June avoided a bludger and headed after it. She caught up with it and looked around for Whitney, finding her she grinned as she whacked the bludger back toward her.::

{Slytherin Beater}

Val grinned, and saw that as her time to act. She flew as rapidly as she could to intercept the Bludger flying at Whitney.

"Oh no you DON'T!" She shouted at Amber and sent the Bludger at June, knowing that Amber could just whack it back.

"Haha!" She cheered and went over to soared over to Nancy, twirling on her broom.

(Gryffindor CHaser)
June saw another bludger flying towards her and groaned. What was with her and attracting bludgers?!? Didn't the Slytherin chasers have someone else to torment? She narrowly avoided the bludger and caught the quaffle as it was thrown into play again. June sped off w/the treasure as bludgers zoomed around her.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched as Val whacked the bludger meant for Whitney at June. She smiled at her and then smiled a bit more as Val flew over close to her. Nancy knew she would now be protected by any bludgers thrown her way.

She spotted June with the quaffle and she decided to make her move. Nancy flew swiftly over towards June's direction and came up along side her. "Nice day for a game, don't you think?" Nancy smiled at her and then gripped her own broom tightly between her legs and reached both hands out and grabbed the quaffle away from June's possession. "I will be needing this now." She said to her, a sly smirk pasted on her red lips.

Nancy then turned her broom around and began making her way quickly towards the opposite end of the pitch. She spotted Jessie hovering a bit up the field and Nancy flew to her. "TWINNY!!!! Look what I got!" She laughed as she held up the red quaffle. "You wanna play with it?" Nancy smiled and then threw the quaffle over to Jessie.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Jessie laughed as she watched her twinny simply grab the quaffle out of the Gryffie's possesion. "Woot!" She cheered, then remembering to be Slytherin-y, she quickly changed her facial expression to a sneer.

"TWINNY! Look what I got!" She heard her twinny say. "Oh...my...goodness... how ever did you get that?" She said, a mock shocked look on her face. "You wanna play with it?" Jessie changed her face to one like a three year old being offered a popsicle on a hot summer day. "Ooooooooh, yes! Yes! Jessie want quaffle-y!" She said, nodding frantically.

"Woohoo!" She cheared, catching the quaffle and zooming her way towards the Gryffie goals. "Coming through... hello there... pardon me..." She said as she swerved her way down the pitch, passing players and bludgers along the way.

As the hoops became closer, and closer, Jessie hunched down forward on her broom. Seeing Amy hovering infront of the center hoop she began to roll her self under many...many...many times. Just before it appeared she was going to run into the Gryffie keeper, she pulled a sharp left and tossed the quaffle straight into the hoop.

"Wooooooooooooooooooooooottttt!" She cheared. Flying back over to her beloved twinny, she gave her a high-five and said "Woohoo! We are doing great so far!"

(Gryffie Chaser)

Swift grr'd quietly. She really had to pay more attention to the game. Quickly grabbing the Quaffle as it was thrown into play, she flew off towards the Slytherin goalposts, avoiding the many players and the bludgers with a series of swerves and skilful flying.

As she neared the posts, she saw June and Rick were on her tail, ready to receive the Quaffle if need be. She wasn't as strong as the other chasers, so tossed the Quaffle into the air in front of her, knowing that either one of them would catch it. She flew quickly to the side of the posts, only to quickly respond to the Quaffle that was thrown into her hands, where it left as quickly as it came.

It soared through the right hoop before the keeper knew that the Quaffle had been passed to her.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" she yelled out, grinning at the other chasers.

"Yay Swift!" June shouted as she flew by her to get the quaffle. June snatched the quaffle out of the air when it was thrown into play. She flew with it towards the Slytherin goalposts and passed it to Swift.

(Gryffindor Keeper)

Amy watched from her end of the pitch as Lisa scored, and grinned. She hovered around her goalposts again, hoping that this time, if the Slytherin's brought the quaffle to her end, she would be ready for them.

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick felt oddly out of this game. He watched as Swift scored a goal and returned her grin. The quaffle was thrown back into play and he sot off to try and intercept the quaffle before Slytherin did. Getting ahold of it, he tossed it to June who passed to Swift who passed back to him. They were nearing the goalposts when Rick shot forward and was almost at the hoops when he let go of the quaffle and watched it sail the way through the right hoop.

Grinning, he turned to the other chasers, gave a thumbs up, and looked around for Aliza flashing her a grin when he saw her. Then he turned back to the action on the field.

(Gryffindor Chaser)
June high-fived her fellow chasers and snatched the quaffle from under Jessie's nose as it was thrown back into play she passed it to Rick and shouted "Inbetween Illusion!" to both of her fellow chasers.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy watched as Swifty made a goal for Gryffindor and she flew fast to try and get the quaffle that was thrown back into play. She was not fast enough and June caught it so Nancy flew over by her. She got close to her but before she could get the quaffle away from her June threw it to Rick.

Nancy spun her broom around and headed after Rick. She flew as fast as she could, tailing him on his way towards the goals. She finally caught up to him and held onto her broom tightly with her legs. She leaned far over on her right side and moved her arms close to Rick and where he was holding the quaffle. She brought her hands around the ball and snatched it quickly from his grip. "Sorry friend but this is quidditch!"

Nancy then leaned back over to the opposite side and started to do a sideways fall move. She pulled on her broom hard and did a half turn while flying sideways and aimed herself in the direction of the goal posts. She rolled in a corkscrew style twist several times while she flew closer to her target. She then righted herself on her broom and leaned her body forward to pick up more speed. She accelerated quickly and in a matter of seconds she was quite close to the goals. She turned to her head to the right and left and saw both of her fellow chasers were flying close to her. She then looked at Jesse, her green eyes locking into his blue ones. "Take this and do what you do best." She then tossed him the quaffle and smiled at him.

(Gryffie Chaser)

Swift frowned as she saw Nancy snatch the Quaffle out of Rick's hands. Darned Slytherins...

Flying quickly, she tailed Nancy until she stopped by Jesse. Seizing the moment, Swift skilfully intercepted the Quaffle before taking off with it towards the Slytherin goalposts as quickly as possible.

She felt June at her side, Rick on her other, and nodded to them both. Flying fast, they passed the Quaffle between each other, so fast that the Quaffle seemed like a blur. As they approacked the keeper, Swift whispered, "Your's," in Rick's ear, and feeling the Quaffle leave her hands for the last time, watched, grinning, as the confused keeper veered to the right as Rick scored in the left hoop.

Swift cheered, high-fiving the two chasers before waiting for the Quaffle to be thrown into play.

Amy cheered from her end of the pitch as she saw Rick score.

"Yay!" She called, "Go Gryffindor!"

She then circled in the air, and weaved in and out of her hoops. The game still had quite a long time to go, hopefully (or not, dependant on how you look at it), be lots more opportunities for her to play a further part in the game.

After completing the Inbetween Illusion where June, Rick, and Swift passed the quaffle quickly amongst themselves, June cheered as Gryffindor got another 10 points. She caught the quaffle as it was thrown back into play and flew off with it towards the Slytherin goalposts.

Gryffindor Seeker

Cristina was still circling high up above the field, when she suddenly saw something glisten. She bowed and sped up towards that object. She was getting closer and she could see it was the snitch. She had to pass the Gryffindor goalposts and Amy was unfortunately right in her way but she didn't want to waste time on flying around her and the hoops, so she did a trick: she sat up on her broom, cried "Don't moooove!", then jumped over Amy - hoping she wouldn't fall over her -, while sending her broom underneath Amy. For a moment she was in the air, above Amy, and then she landed on the broom quite safely, although it had been a great test for her balance and courage. But while she had been concentrating on the jump, she had lost sight of the snitch. She snipped her fingers, said "Oh well, next time!" and went back to just flying around, keeping a lookout.

She knew it had to be soon that she caught the snitch - she just had a feeling - so she smiled and waved to her fellow Gryffies. "I'll get it all right, don't worry!"

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick watched on as Cristina jumped overtop of Amy in her pursuit of the snitch. What a seeker, he thought as he searched for the quaffle. Seeing the quaffle speeding towards the ground, he leaned forward on the Firebolt and shot forward towards it, successfully dodging a bludger sent his way. Reaching forward, he snatched it out of the air and shot off towards the Slytherin hoops. Looking slightly to his left he saw June and Swift tailing him. He signaled to them to fly under him, and as they did he dropped the quaffle to June. Still spearing towards the Slytherin keeper, he shot forward pushing his Firebolt to breakneck speed. As he neared the hoops, he veered off to the right, leaving June to shoot the quaffle...and SCORE! Pumping his fist in the air he hig-fived June and grinned at Swifty.

Raistlin show up running to the field mounted his broom and met his teammates

"I am deeply sorry for not being here before! You seemed to have handle the situation very good though. Okay no more talk time to catch a snitch!"

Raistlin had entered the field in time to saw Silver's manouver and thought "Crazy!" but he hadn't to jumpt so he saw where the snitch had gone to.

He sped up like a torpedo after the snitch who was now two arms length away. The snitch corned the gryffindors goalposts, waved among the players on the field. Raisltin was always on its tail hiting some people in the way but increasing speed. The snitch was now a arm and a half length away. It continued its escape through the slytherin goalposts and headed to the where the crowd was watching. Raisltin was now very close he stretched his arm and caught the snitch but before he could stop he hit the crowd!

When the dust settled he rose and showed the snitch on his hand.!

"There you are! Better later than never!"

Gryffindor Chaser

Rick watched Raistlin's decent to the snitch, silently urging Cristina after him. He watched in uproarious disbelief as Raistlin closed in on the snitch, and then watched as he slammed into the crowd. Rick shot to the ground and waited for the rest of the team to touch down as well.

Cristina looked at the Gryffie team apologetically. "Heh... I guess it would have gone better without that jump?" She smiled "er.. next time, ok?" She landed next to Rick and waited for the rest of the team, in the meantime stretching her legs.
