Emmalynn sat back down in her armchair. Ugh.... Drama, she thought. She picked up her potions book and fliped to chapter 13. She was ahead and didn't want to lose her edge.

(Once again, had the spell Flargate actually created fire, it would have been put out when the doors began revolving fast, because it couldn't breathe. Physics still apply [generally speaking])

Elladora Stood up and wlked over to the fireplace. She put her hand in the flames and waited for a bit.

Emmalynn peeked over the top of her book and watched Elladora.

"Ella? Uh... What are you doing?" she asked her friend slowly.

"Uh.. Touching the fire? Feeling its semi-nonexistent spirit?" Elladora replied. She had always found fire so amusing... It's was as if a tiny flame could represent someone... She felt that since her life at Hogwarts, her flame had become meek, and was only burning through her stubborness.

"I guess it's kinda silly anyway," Elladora said, she shrugged and giggled. Then, with a final glance at the fire, she meandered around the common room and began singing softly to herself, quietly and under her breath.

Dorothy's paper sliped from her grasp as she fell into a light dose.

Shadow walked back into the common room, looking windswept. She went up to the dormitory, picked up a book and returned to the common room, curling up by the fire.

Dorothy stirred in her sleep as Shadow walked in, but didn't wake.

Dorothy woke, stretching slightly as she sat up. The fire warmed her knees and as she lay back in the comfy armchair Dorothy picked up her favorite book and started too read, even though she had read it at least 6 times already she was riveted every time.

Shadow yawned quietly as Dorothy woke up, and closed her book, curling into a tight ball.

Dorothy smiled as she recognised the first words. She practicaly knew the book off by heart.

Shadow's breathing evened out slightly as she fell asleep.

Dorothy noticed Shadow fall asleep and kept an eye on her. Shadow was liable to cry out in her sleep.

Emmalynn also watched as Shadow slept. Turning to watch Elladora, Emmalynn tried to figure out what song she was singing to herself.

Muttering the familiar song under her breath, Elladora continued waling around the common room. Watching the sleeping figures made her tired, she blinked a few times and conjured water into a glass. With a simgle gulp, she downed the entire glass.

Elladora went around the common room some more, softly singing to herself, and observing some of the Slytherin artifacts.

Dorothy caught sight of herself in a mirror. I hate my nose... It looks like I've broken it. So, closing her eyes, Dorothy imagined herself with a slim nose. Yet when she opened them, her nose was just like she'd imagined it to be!
"Am I Metamorphmagus? All these years, and I never knew..."
She tested out her new theory in various ways, only increasing her disbelif.
"I'm Metamorphmagus! Cool..."

Shadow heard Dorothy's exclamation and opened one eye. She yawned, stretching wolfishly and got up to stand next to her friend.
"Lucky you." She said.

Dorothy smiled.
"I'm so tired... I know I just had a nap, but-" She stuggled to stifle a yawn, "I'm still really tired."
So Dorothy went up to the dormitory and fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.

Careful not to disturb Shadow, she walked up stairs to retrieve her Charms book and came back down stairs to read it

Emmalynn finished the book she was reading andlooked around. The common room was still as dark and danky as always, and every one was sleeping! Well, except Elladora and Willow, but still! Emmalynn put her book away, making a point to return it to Severus later, and stood up. She walked over to Elladora and thought, You got any Weasley products with you? It's too boring here. Then she grinned and went back to her stuff, grabbing a sheet of parchment and starting to doodle.

Dorothy woke up, and went back down to the common room. "Hey, do you guys think my hair is better blonde or pink?" Demontrating, she turned her her hair hot pink.

"I think I'll try goth." Dorothy looked as if she was trying to remember something, then looked very goth indeed.
Black silky hair, pale complexion, indigo eyes... "I think that's pretty cool!"
