Kaylee walked into the Slytherin common room expecting to see, well she wasn't really sure what she was expecting to see but it certainly wasn't the scene being played out before her.

In one corner there was a girl who very much resembled her daughter, who by the looks of it was crying and drinking some sort of wacky tea. And then sitting in another section of the room there was a man no wait maybe a boy sitting by himself mumbling something that was incoherent to her ears.

Being the up beat and generally happy person she was she bounced into the center of the room and yelled, "Where am I at? Is this a pity party or the great Slytherin common room? Everyone needs to cheer up and stop taking everything so seriously." Still laughing hysterically at her own comments she began to walk around and take note of every little thing that was going on in the room around her.

Elladora stared misbelievingly at S, then turned to the new person.

"Hi," Elladora greeted, equally cheery. "Maly here just got some really bad news. Kinda sucks, but I gave her some of Uncle Xeno's tea, so she should be better in no time." Elladora saluted (with her left hand), she didn't know why, but this person had a sense of superiority she admired.

Emmalynn looked up at Kaylee.

"Hey, mom. What's up?" she asked quietly.

"mom?" S.master confused.

"Mom?" Elladora said, dropping the salute and looking from Emmalynn to her supposable mother. She shrugged. "I never did like your dad anyway," she said.

Emmalynn laughed slightly, but didn't explain. "Elladora, this is Kaylee. Mom, this is my childhood buddy Elladora. She's in Ravenclaw," she introduced.

S.master just sat back as he thought he shouldn't disturb.

"Pleased to meet you Kaylee!" Elladora said, saluting again. "I'm pretty sure Emmalynn's told me about you, but I forgot."

Emmalynn sighed and noticed S.

"And this is the ever annoying, wierdo, and not the good kind, S.master," she said, holding back a scoff at the kid's name.

Putting her hand over her heart and making a slight bow to Elladora, the typical Death eater salute she replied, "Thank you for taking care of her, I know how emotional she can be sometimes." As she spoke Kaylee made her way over and took the seat next to Emmalynn.

"Oh my dear Emmalynn it is you, from over there I wasn't quiet sure so I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of a group of total strangers. I see you've received your orders from the dark lord, I was there when he decided that you should be the one to do it." She said loud enough so the whole room could hear her. Then she leaned in and began whispering so hopefully prying ears in the room couldn't hear she continued, "Every day it gets harder and harder to block my thoughts and not tell him or let him see what your truly doing. I will protect you because you are my daughter, and for that reason alone and nothing else. Please find a way to do what it is that he asks of you or it will be both of our heads served up on a platter."

Sitting back up straight she once again spoke to the room, "Other than the recent orders from the dark lord any thing else going on that I should be aware of? What happened to this place anyways we used to have so much fun in here, now it seems that this is the place that unhappiness gathers."

Emmalynn sighed and stood up. She faced Kaylee and plastered a silly smirk on her face.

"You stopped showing up, mom, so we have no form of spazzy entertainment!" she said, pulling a brightly colored stick from her pocket. "May I interest you in a sugar stick?" she asked, holding it in front of Kayee's face, tauntingly. She giggled.

Elladora became slightly shocked at Kaylee's response, recognizing the gesture. She followed Kaylee across the room and watched her every movement, breaking into Emmalynn mind with Legilimens. 'Maly, what's happening?' she asked at once.

Laughing at her daughters subtle attempt to ignore her Kaylee grabbed the sugar stick from Emmalynn, opened it and downed it in less than two seconds. "You know just what to do to get me into the party spirit. And what did that girl mean about your father? I thought you liked Dougie? Or was she referring to your 'other' father?" She said as she took a hold of Emmalynns arm and started to make her dance around the room with her. "Elladora I know I don't know you well but you are more than welcome to join in our crazed dancing session. It is after all a family tradition." As she said this she started to giggle and offered her left hand to Elladora.

Violet came back downstairs. "Before you go, you have to write my father back." Violet said. "Everyone does, so you can write it back and I'll sned it. I have to sned my back to" Violet siad, holding her letter up. "I dont think we have the same thing. I'm going up north." Violet said,

Yeah, I know that... She just recommended that I try to bear with it and she'll keep covering for me. She also said, it'll keep getting worse, Emmalynn thought, completely unconcerned that Kaylee was a Death Eater. She was used to it by now.

Elladora smiled, putting on a gi-normus grin and took Kaylee's hand, prepared to dance around the room and hear Emmalynn's response.

'Maly,' Elladora thought, 'What about the mission?'

Breaking into the girls little mind 'talk' Kaylee channeled her thoughts to the two, "Oh Emmalynn didn't tell you, yes I am a full fledged death-eater. And yes I know all about the two of you, I am much more skilled at the art of Legimacy than you can imagine. Don't worry I have protected all of you so far, only because of my daughter mind you. So it would be wise to keep that in mind. All during the talk she kept her picture perfect smile plastered across her face.

"I mean no harm to anyone, I swear." She concluded out loud winking at both of them.

"I'll worry about that later, Ella! Right now, my mom and I are inviting you to dance!" Emmalynn laughed. She looked at Kaylee.

"I love Dougie! He's an awesome dad! She was referring to my 'other' dad. Dougie's much cooler, he plays guitar!!" Emmalynn exclaimed, not realizing that she was ignoring Violet.

Elladora returned the obviously fake smile and shot over to Kaylee. 'No need to worry, I've been in front of the "Dark Lord Voldy-Shorts" himself and he can't break through my barriers. Right now they're down for Emmalynn's sake as well. And you'd be wise to watch yourself if we ever meet in different circumstances.'

With that, Elladora amped up her Occlumency, so no force, except for the familiar mind of Emmalynn could get through, and continued dancing, as if nothing had ever occured.

Emmalynn sighed as she felt the tension forming between her mom and her best friend. "Uh, guys?" she said, reaching into her pocket, "Want some sugar sticks?"

Elladora looked to Emmalynn and smiled. "Ooo, sugar sticks." She took a blue one and attempted to open it, failing twice, before succeeding. "I hate these things..." she mumbled.

Elladora grinned at Emmalynn's sudden change of mood and snuck her cloak away from her. Elladora sat on the couch, fastened her cloak around her and seemingly fainted for fove seconds, before waking up again.

Still laughing Kaylee stopped dancing to take another sugar stick from Emmalynn. "I can't believe that Emmalynn has forgotten to tell you about me Elladora, I figured she'd be proud that her mother is one of the Dark Lords highest ranking officers. After all it is quiet an achievement, being one of his right hand people should tell you just how powerful I am. I wouldn't know why Emmalynn would let it escape her mind to mention it, but I guess it's really not that big of a deal." Still smiling Kaylee knew exactly what she was doing.

I hope this girl understands just how powerful I really am, the fun and games are only the face I chose to show to those who don't know me well enough to know better. It uses a great deal of my powers to keep him out of my mind on a daily basis, a few times is nothing.

Stopping the dancing and sugar intake for a brief second Kaylee bowed to the Dark Lords daughter, showing her the respect she was accustomed to showing when in the presence of the Dark Lords family. Once done bowing she went right back into dancing around again.

"Lets not focus on all of that other stuff for the moment, lets just have fun and get to know each other. Besides I am technically off duty today, and I chose this day to come and have some fun with my beautiful daughter. Lets not ruin it with silly politics and talks of powers and jobs. " Genuinely smiling Kaylee continued to dance around with the girls.

Emmalynn hardly noticed as Elladora reclaimed her cloak and instead, focused on emptying eight sudar sticks into her mother's mouth.

"Eat that, Mom!" she laughed.

Shadow hovered a few feet in the air, meditating quietly in a corner, half-watching what was going on through one open eye.

Elladora laughed, though shocked, at what Emmalynn had just done to her other mother. Elladora then noticed Shadow drifting unnoticed in a corner and walked over to her. She bent to a bit to reach the same eye-level and smiled.

"Would you like to dance, Shadow?" Elladora asked, keeping a warm and inviting smile on her face.

Alice entered the slytherin common room, hoping it was fairly empty. She looked around and too her disapointment saw that it was quite full. She scanne through the small crowd for what she was looking for.

Violet walked back down a few mintues later. ' I wish I had poison those cookies' Violet thought as she glared at the cookies. Sitting as far as possible from him, she started writing back to her father.
