Professor Snapes Potion Class ( the past)

This is professor snapes classroom before the 2nd rise of voldemort. Everything is fine and dandy except for Snap and his classroom... Are you good at Potions.... well we might just see in here!

Zelda was fifteen and she was dreading her potions class next hour. She had it with all of her friends ,but she just didn't like snape that much. She might love potion making ,but she always seems to get Nevis and mess up when he is around. Well class starts in two minuets , better go inside. I wonder who all will be in there?

Zelda left to go to her dorm.

Emmalynn entered Professor Snape's classroom early. She was excited for today because they were going to make the Draught of Dreamless Sleep. She put her stuff down by her seat and walked up to Snape's desk, where he was grading papers.

"Hello, Severus," Emmalynn said happily. Severus looked up and nodded hello.

"Are you ready for today's project, Emmalynn?" he asked, probably already knowing the answer.

"Of course! I've been waiting to make this potion for weeks!" she said, laughing.

Elladora skipped in behind Emmalynn and greeted Professor Snape.

"Good day, Professor," Elladora said. "I've a note here from Professor Flitwick."

Snape nodded and took the note. His eyes drifted over it and he turned to Emmalynn. "Are you up for making two potions today?" He expected her answer, but wanted to ask anyway, to raise his godchild's suspense.

Elladora smiled.

Snape held up the paper and then passed it to Emmalynn. "A few bizarre ingredients, but nothing out of your reach. Miss Zeller here can assist you, if you need it."

Elladora grinned and turned to Emmalynn, expecting her answer.

Emmalynn inspected the paper of ingredients. Her eyes widened and she smiled.

"Ella, you can stay here and assist. But only if I get into trouble," she said, looking up at her friend with a mischeivious gleam in her eyes. "This one looks like a challenge!"

Severus hid a small, proud grin behind a stack of ungraded tests and pushed Emmalynn toward his work station. "Get started."

Severus sighed. "What now?" he mumbled, taking the note. After reading it, he stood up and announced, "Emmalynn, I have to go... Make sure Miss Zeller doesn't mess anything up."

Emmalynn looked up from her cauldron, grinning. "'Kay, but you know she won't. She's not Longbottom," she said. He just grunted in response and walked out the door, his cloak billowing behind him.

"I have to get him to get me a cloak like that!" she exclaimed, grinning at Elladora.

"Mess things up?" Elladora said, obviously shocked. "I've never messed up a potion before." She subconsciously knocked on stinky wooden desk. "I'm great at potions. Not better than thou, Emmalynn, but I could give Hermione Granger a run for her money. How is this even plausible? I suppose I might have added a touch more of some ingredients when I found it necessary, but mess it up?"

Elladora pouted over stinky fact that Snape thought she was a horrible potion-maker and turned to Emmalynn. "What art we making?" she inquired. She really felt like cutting something up perfectly right now, just to show Snape.

Emmalynn giggled throughout Elladora's rant.

"We're making stinky Draught of Dreamless Sleep and..." she looked at stinky paper in her hand, "No way! And Wolfsbane for Lupin! Wow, he's trusting me with this very important potion." She fisted her hands anf looked skyward. "I won't let thou down, Sev!"

"Okay, Ella, thou ready for this?" she asked, she enthusiasm turning to seriousness.

((Why art thou trying to avoid it? It'll go away...))

Emmalynn looked at stinky ingredients list. "Ella, I need thou to dice up... five frog livers for stinky dreamless sleep. I'll juice stinky two pickled newts for stinky Wolfsbane," she said, going into potion mode.

She got out her two newts and started to juice.

((*clears throat* It didn't go away!))

"Right-o!" Elladora said, walking over to the students' cupboard and pulling out five frog livers. She made a disgusted face and threw them onto her cutting board.

Elladora picked up her silver knife and chopped one in halves a few times. "How small do you want them?" Elladora asked.

Emmalynn looked up from her workstation.

"Uh... two by two... centimeters," she said, reading the instructions. "Use magic only if you have to."
