Weather: As we move into November it becomes bitterly cold, but the skies remain clear and dry. Piercing sunlight might affect your eyesight!

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Jazmo scanned the pitch quickly, not noticing the quaffle hunt going on behind her. Mentally, she cheered on her teammates whole heartedly.

Zooming around the pitch proved to no avail as well, for from one side of the pitch everything could be seen, albeit a bit bright, and from the other side it was next to impossible to even see clearly; the glasses on Jazmo's face didn't help the sunlight fact either: the lenses caught bits of light momentarily blinding her every now and then.

"Oh this sucks..." Jazmo sucked in a breath as a great shiver swept through her body.

"Maybe it's there... no, um...OH! OH GEEZ!" The snitch was getting away from the other seeker!
With a shake of her head Jazmo leaned forward, speeding to and past the Gryffindor seeker, and reached out her hand towards the ball of golden light.

The snitch chose that exact moment to catch a bit of light and glint madly, as though- "STOP MOCKING ME, you... snitch, you!" Jazmo yelled with furrowed brows and a big grin.

Jazmo snapped one eye closed and widened the other, reaching out both her hands now and holding onto the broom tightly with her legs. The snitch cackled madly in it's own little way, lighting up and shining brightly.

Reaching her arm even further, and clinging as desperately as she could to the broom with her legs, a smile cracked on Jazmo's lips as her fingertips brushed the outer shell of the snitch.

That was when the bludger originally aimed at Ingrid connected with her upper arm, smashing into her it full force, causing a small scream to erupt from Jazmo's lips and pain to shoot through her body.
For a few seconds the pain was overwhelming, and the snitch flew away forgotten.

"Augh..." Jazmo winced as she stopped in midair and used her other arm to position her injured one under her sweater. The warmth from her belly soothed the pain and made her clammy hand a bit better.

Blinking back the tears she looked around the pitch, and then realized with horror: "My glasses! Oh...oh...crap..." It definitely hurt more to know she couldn't see than to think about the pain emitting from her arm.

"OK Jazmo, positive, think positive. I mean, how bad is this? You're half blind without them, sure, but... they can't be... that hard to find..." And as Jazmo looked out onto the pitch, the massive green blob she interpreted as the ground seemed to shiver and mold itself into the great tall blobs that in turn molded with the blue, blue sky.

"Well. I'm royally screwed over." She raised her head with unharmed pride, pushed her injured arm against her belly flesh, and scanned the pitch for a little gold blob that would be the snitch.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Schuyler sighed with relief as the bludger aimed for Dragon flew of course, leaving her safe with the quaffle gathered in her arms. Turning, though, she was greeted with the sight of Hufflepuff's seeker, Jazmo, without her glasses. Wincing at the bruise that the bludger would have undoubtably given Jazmo, Skie simpathetically smiled and hoped for the best.

"You okay?" she called across the pitch, her quidditch concentration broken by an injured teammate. Waiting with one ear open for her reply, Skie dived through the air back towards Dragon, just in case she needed back up.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

::Dani was sure that she had slipped into toad mode and that surely many many qwaffles had soared through her slightly unprotected goals. She frowned and hit the side of her head hoping that the shock would help unravel her mind. She smiled and looked around seeing Dragon with the qwaffle she whooped and cheered.

"Go Dragon!" She said cupping her hands around her mouth.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie's attempts to get the quaffle from Dragon were not working as well as she hoped. Skie was now there next to her in case Dragon dropped it. The bludgers didn't seem to be cmoing their way and while Katie was glad for ehr own saftey she hoped someone would help her get the quaffle back for Gryffie

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine!" Jazmo called to Skie. "Now to set my horrible eye on the goal!" She whispered to herself.
Jazmo gripped the school broom tightly and aimed south, straight at the green blob. Urging her broom to fly faster, she used all her will power not to jump when the ground was suddenly so close to her.
Tilting her broom, Jazmo reached out towards the ground with her uninjured hand and let it glide through the short grass of the area around where she had been hit with a bludger some time ago 50 feet above.

And Jazmo felt light spread through her and absolutely giddy as she felt cold cold metal skim her fingertips. She grabbed them, and with a swift push onto her face her glasses were back and she was shooting back above.

The pain in her injured arm was forgotten when she pumped her fist into the air in triumph. The hurt brought her back to reality though..

Cuddling her arm against her belly, Jazmo flew as fast as the school broom could take her, bringing her closer and closer to the spotted snitch on the other end of the field.

(Gryffindor Beater and co-Captain)

Ouch… that must have hurt. June winced as her bludger, originally aimed for Dragon, was blasted by a gust of wind and slammed into Jazmo instead. She hoped her friend would be alright, but was glad that her efforts now gave Cris more time to find the snitch. Jazmo didn’t look like she was in any condition to catch the elusive golden ball. June sighed as she re-acknowledged that Dragon still had the quaffle… and although Katie was trying to steal it, it didn’t look like that would work.

Looking around for another bludger, June suddenly got an idea… If this next move played out right, then Katie might get the quaffle! As she flew through the air, following the quaffle’s path, June did a quick 360 degree spin on her broom. As she spun, she thought, ‘Nope. No… Darn it, no…. No bludger there… Where IS that idiot bludger?! No… No….’ The ‘No’s were getting on her nerves… ‘No… YES!!!!!!!!’ Never mind. That one ‘Yes’ made up for everything.

Spotting the bludger, June forgot everything else and raced after it. She sped closer and closer towards the black ball. June then dipped the front end of her broomstick, and began corkscrewing into tighter and tighter loops as she focused on her target. After a few moments, June’s small loops expanded into large lazy circles. She was almost there… just a few more seconds! Finally, after what seemed to be hours of waiting and careful calculation, June’s latest circle brought her directly into the path of the oncoming bludger. Muahahahaha…. She held her broom to the side, clutching its end so as not to drop it, and slammed it into the bludger towards the Gryffindor goals. Perfect.

That done, June ceased circling altogether, and with a burst of speed, hurtled after the bludger that she had just hit. She flattened herself almost completely on her broom and quickly reached the straight-flying bludger. June did a quick U-turn to face it and braced herself. Right before the bludger slammed into her, June raised her bat and stopped it. As the wood absorbed the energy, June shivered from the sudden shock and from the cold, as the bludger rebounded. June flew after it once more and quickly tapped it on the side. Her speed lowered as her altitude lowered, bringing her almost face to face with the black ball.

Then, June began the routine of tapping it, keeping it under her control as she flew closer and closer to Dragon. Or rather, if you want to get specific, Dragon’s quaffle. Keeping out of sight of the Hufflepuff Chaser and Skie, June flew steadily until she was practically on top of her… there was very little space between them. That done, June brought her bat up… and with a CRACK! brought it smashing down on the bludger. The bludger spun downwards, heading straight for the quaffle in Dragon’s arms.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie was grateful when she saw June take control of the bludger and aim for the Quaffle she was currently trying to get possession of. Skie and Dragon seemed oblivious to the beaters position and therefore gasped when a bludger came out os apparetnly nowhere and knocked the quaffle out of Dragon's shivering arms.

Katie caught the ball and was releived to find it was warm. She hugged it close to her body shouting her thanks to June as she passed the beater on her way towards the hufflepuff goals. With any luck Katie would soon score and Gryffindor would gain 10 points.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Spluttering as the quaffle got knocked out of her arms. She sent June a glare and trailed after Katie.

Looking around the pitch she waited to see if any of the Hufflepuff Beaters could come help out.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Darnit..." Schuyler did vague acrobatics under her breath as the quaffle was knocked from Dragon's arms. Spinning around in a few circles to get a bearing on where Katie was now, Skie spotted a bright red blur in the corner of her eye. Thank goodness the Gryffies have such BRIGHT uniforms. Zooming after her, Schuyler flew after her to intercept that goal and keep Hufflepuff in the lead!

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June smirked as the quaffle fell into Katie's arms and the Chaser began flying towards the Hufflepuff goals. She followed her friend, her bat at the ready, in case any assistance was needed. Suddenly, two yellow blurs appeared and seemed to linger at her peripheral vision. June turned her head and narrowed her eyes as she saw Dragon and Skie in hot pursuit of them and the quaffle. She raised her bat and rapidly looked around for a bludger. It would be extremely convenient of one just hapened to appear about now.... But sadly, the bludgers were not answering her prayers. She rolled her eyes... Yippee.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie was glad that June was there sreaking down the feild with her. It was a comfort to know she would have some protection if a Hufflepuff Beater sent a bludger this way. And besides that, she just liked having June nearby.

They were approaching the goal posts now and Katie was getting increasingly exciteded. She always got this feeling when she was about to make a shot. She pulled back her arm and with one powerful thrust sent the quaffle straight throught the Hufflepugg goal.

"Yes!" she cried as she turned around to hug June.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

A whoosh of air alerted Streams to a bludger nearby and she turned quickly, intercepting it. Groaning under her breath after Katie scored, Streams decided to aim the next bludger at her. She was turning now to hug June, so hopefully they would both be distracted...but how to sneak up on them?

Thinking rapidly, she slammed the bludger to go behind her and then went into an upward loop. The bludger followed, intent on its target, and Streams rolled upside down to avoid it as it came a bit too close for comfort. Then, when she was nearly above June and Katie, she paused, allowing the bludger to catch up with her. There was a confusing moment where it seemed as if the bludger would smash her nose, but Streams darted down, then reached up and cracked her bat into the bludger, aiming down. It would be nice if it broke Katie's nose, but at least might dislocate her shoulder...

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

“Yes!!!” June whooped as the bright red quaffle flew surely through the hoop. Katie scored a goal for Gryffindor! June grinned as her friend flew towards her. “Great work!” she said, “You did a fantastic job!” She flew forward and returned the hug. Suddenly, she heard a woosh of air and felt as if something was above her… June turned her head and twisted to look upwards, but before she could… WHUMP! June blinked. What???? She felt frozen as pain coursed through her body, setting her nerves afire with the sudden strike. She felt frozen as her broom suddenly seemed to be at eye-level. She felt frozen as the scene blurred and black shadows crossed her vision…. June’s eyes closed as she slipped off of her broom. Blackness overtook her consciousness as she fell through the air, unknowingly taking the bludger that had been meant for Katie.

(Gryffindor Chaser)

"Oh, shoot!", Cris exclaimed as she noticed she had phased out quite a bit. Looking around, she realised there were two problems to be solved
a.s.a.p.. Number one, her sister June had been hit and was free-falling off her broom. Number two, Jazmo seemed to have spotted the snitch.

She quickly decided to solve problem number one first - actually there was nothing to decide, her teammate's and sister's life came first, the snitch second!

She sped up, the wind whooshing at her ears. The cold was cutting through her skin and the feeling was increased by her fear that she might be too late. And June was falling, falling into nothingness. Cris wanted scream, but no words came out of her dry throat. And June was only about 10 metres away from the ground now! She lied almosty flat on her broom, which increased her speed but had one major disadvantage - she had to change her position on the broom before catching June. Despite her usual habit of forming images in her mind of what would happen next, she didn't have the strenght to think this time - she just wanted to catch June and make sure she was safe, but she couldn't imagine just how she'd manage. She also didn't want to imagine what would happen in case she didn't catch her after all.

After what seemed like an eternity, she got under June's ... landing place, for lack of a better word. She was now just 2 meteres from the ground and then it all happend in a second - she spread her arms out, trying to catch June in a comfortable position. The sudden shock on her broom unsteadied it slightly but she was still in control....

She landed with June and layed her on the grass, then bent over her asking in a worried voice, "June! June! Are you ok? Can you hear me?". "Madam Pomfrey!", she added shouting but she didn't even have to, Madam Pomfrey had observed the accident and was already running towards them.

The nurse levitated June to the medical tent, while Cris was running along, shooting questions at her, "Will she be okay? Did she break anything? Is it serious?" "I'll need to check her but she looks like she'll be okay. It's lucky you caught her.", Madam Pomfrey was trying to calm her down.

Cris nodded and gave June one last hopeful look before hopping onto her broom again. Suddenly, she remembered something and flew back to the place of the accident, collecting June's broom. A few twigs were bent and Cris was worried this might influence the broom's speed and direction, but it looked otherwise all right. She pointed her wand at it and testingly muttered "Reparo!", but all that happened was that a few of the bent twigs moved no more than a few millimetres towards the right position. Cris shook her head at her sillyness - of course that a Quidditch broom had spells and enchantments so strong on it, that it would take a professional to repair it. However, she deemed it okay to fly on for the moment, so she took it and placed it next to the bed where June seemed to already be getting some colour in her face.

She would have loved to stay longer, but Madam Pomfrey strictly forbade it. Moreover, there was a snitch to catch...

Facing the strong sun and biting cold again, Cris scanned the field for the snitch. Ah there it was! - and there was also Jazmo approaching.. she zoomed after it, but from the opposite direction that Jazmo was coming from, determined to catch it first.

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Jazmo gasped when June got hit by the bludger and without another second thought was shooting towards her to catch her, Gryffie or not. She saw Cris out of the corner of her eye, flying towards June with determination, which stopped Jazmo from flying towards June anymore, for she knew Cris would catch her.

Jazmo reluctantly turned her broom, sending a fleeting glance over her shoulder. She shook her head to shake off the feeling of guilt and then set her eyes on the snitch again, which seemed to have stayed in the exact position it was in before she went shooting towards June.

With a fierce look in her eye Jazmo leaned forward as far as she could on her school broom without pressing her injured arm against the its handle.

Jazmo stretched out her uninjured arm, hoping to finally catch the snitch this time, and held her breath as she saw Cris leave June and start zooming towards her from the opposite direction.

"Faster, faster, faster!" Jazmo muttered under her breath, competition burning in her eyes. Her fingertips brushed against one of the nearly frozen wings of the snitch when it was then that her broom chose to act horrible.

It jerked violently to the right, causing Jazmo to slip right over the left side of her broom.
Now, it wasn't all that comfortable either, for Jazmo hoped to the dear heavens that her glasses wouldn't fall off again. Her legs were already so sore from holding all of her weight on an upside down broom.

Jazmo rocked back and forth quickly, and in the end finally flipped back to normal position, causing all the blood to rush back to her head, reeling her mind around and causing spots to appear in her line of vision.

When Jazmo looked towards Cris and the snitch, Cris was glaring at a passing bludger which seemed to have knocked the snitch to who-knows-where.

Jazmo grinned towards Cris, and then started rotating her broom in a 360 degrees circle slowly, scanning the pitch for the little golden ball.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Juggling the quaffle between her hands, Dragon glanced at the Gryffindor Beater that had fallen. Seeing that June was at Madame Pomfrey's care she wheeled around and shot back at the goal posts - which the quaffle held tightly near her.

Flying pas Jazma she saw that the seeker was scanning the pitch for the snitch and was doing a pretty good job.

She squinted her eyes as the hoops came closer and closer. She aimed at the goal and threw...

(Hufflepuff Beater)

"No WAY!" Streams shouted, exultant. "That actually worked!" She grinned widely as June was carried off the pitch at least temporarily, to be fussed over by Madam Pomfrey. Deciding on a victory lap around the pitch, Streams zoomed between players, waving merrily as she passed them. She was slightly disappointed that the bludger hadn't hit Katie, because she had meant for the Gryffies to be one chaser short. However, no harm done--well, beyond the obvious physical harm to June which she regretted, truly (not) but come on, this was QUIDDITCH after all!

There was plenty more time to knock out Katie too, so Streams whooshed about the pitch, her eye out for the bludgers again as she planned her next move.

(Gryffindor chaser)

Becca watched in horror as the bludger actually hit June. "Nooo!" Becca cried out, sounding awfully silly. "Ugh....I swear if she's not ok," but her muttering was cut off by a strong feeling. "Oh, shoot, I'm supposed to actually be doing my job, aren't I?" There again was another 'bad Becca' moment. She felt bad for a few seconds, she hadn't been on her best game today, that was for sure. Becca had lost count of the times she'd had to tell herself bad becca!

Becca watched the scene in and was getting ready to let out an angry sigh. Dragon had just shot, and was almost garunteed to make it- But wait! The quaffle missed the hoop by a fraction of an inch! YES! Wait...who was going to get the quaffle now?

Becca took off as fast as she could toward the quaffle. She scooped it off and took just a few minutes to regain herself before taking off toward the hufflepuff goal posts.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

The first thing she noticed was that she hurt. All over. A lot. The second thing she noticed was that she had a pounding headache… and it wasn’t going away. June heard someone bustling about and muttering. She couldn’t catch much in her lethargic state, but she did hear little snippets of, “Dangerous sport”, “Quidditch”, and “Too risky”. June slowly opened her eyes as her mind began to wake up, and winced as a particularly strong pang of pain went through her head at the sudden light. She opened her mouth to ask what had happened, but her throat was too dry. June coughed softly and suddenly, a shadow blocked the annoying light.

“Finally awake dear?” It was Madam Pomfrey. The Gryffindor nodded minutely and tried to sit up. Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch!!!! … That obviously hadn’t been a good idea. As June lay back on what seemed to be a mountain of soft pillows, she felt a rim touching her lips and obediently opened her mouth. A sickly sweet cherry-tasting concoction was poured in and June dutifully swallowed, although she wanted to gag as the potion slipped down her throat. Immediately after drinking that... thing …, June began to feel the pain leaving her limbs. It was as if the pain was crawling up and out of her nerves. The potion worked like magic, probably because it was. June coughed as she felt her drugged daze and the pain seeping out of her.

“How are you feeling?” June smiled gratefully at the Mediwitch. “Almost as good as new,” she replied. She looked down and saw her broom lying by her side, though a bit worse for the wear. “What happened?” June asked curiously. Madam Pomfrey proceeded to explain the whole debacle, not hesitating to add in little anecdotes of her own, proclaiming how dangerous and risky and altogether completely preposterous a sport, Quidditch was. June winced as she heard of her fall and her hit from the bludger. No wonder she had felt as if she’d been buried under a million bricks. “Thanks Madam Pomfrey,” June said when the witch had finished. “Thanks for everything.” With that, June stood somewhat shakily, grabbed her beloved broom, and waved goodbye. Laughing softly at Madam Pomfrey’s splutters of dismay, June got out to the Pitch, nodded that she could play to Madam Hooch, and kicked off.

The instant she returned to the air, June felt the energy of the game return and rejuvenate her. She waved to her teammates, letting them know she was fine, and shouted, “Thanks Cris!!!” Hoping her sister had heard her, June turned and narrowed her eyes as she saw Dragon flying with the quaffle towards the Gryffindor goals. I don’t think so… June turned and flew higher, to see farther. She steadily turned on her broom, looking in all directions, but slowly so as not to strain anything after her quick mending. Bludger.. bludger… June looked around and smiled confidently when she spotted one, just hovering in midair. Her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of a practically still bludger, and turned her broom, flying after it. June raised her bat and as the bludger suddenly turned left, she backhanded it with both hands on her bat, sending it to the right.

That done, June looked down and smiled as she saw Dragon, intent on the Gryffindor goals. Suddenly, the Hufflepuff threw the quaffle… June gasped, but then exhaled in relief as the quaffle missed.. and was caught by Becca!!!!! June silently cheered for her friend, but quickly refocused on her bludger that was getting a bit too far ahead of her. June flattened herself on her broom and zoomed towards it. For some reason, her broom didn't seem to be flying as quickly as it usually did... Perhaps it was an aftereffect from her crash. June winced, just remembering the after-effects she'd experienced herself. although her broom wasn't as fast a usual, she finally caught up with the bludger and, checking to see that her target hadn't moved too far, slammed it down at an angle, straight towards Dragon.

Not looking to see if the bludger met its target, June flew down to Becca and called, as she had before, “I’ll watch out for you!”

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Becca smiled to herself as she heard her teammate's encourging words. It was always good to know you had someone on your side, espicially when that someone had a beaters bat. Becca was also happy that June was up and going strong already. Stupid bludger.

Becca leaned down on her broom and pushed her speed. "C'mon, c'mon," she muttered to herself, edging her broom to go faster. The poor thing had been under a lot of strain this game. Becca was now nearing the goal posts and she was suddenly in a panic...what was she going to do????

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

Jazmo's eyes widened when she saw the bludger heading straight towards Dragon, and leaving her snitch hunt she blasted through the air. Luckily no weird broomy things happened.

"DRAGON!" Jazmo screamed, "FLY AWAY!!!" Jazmo didn't know if Dragon got the message or not, but she stayed on her course, pushing her broom as fast as it could go without injuring herself too.

Jazmo finally reached the point she needed to and flipped her broom haphazardly in a full circle, thumping the bludger hard with the butt of her broom, causing it to swerve back upwards in an explosion of twigs and broom pieces.
Then- "OUCH! HOLY CR- ...ap..." not even waiting for Dragon's reaction Jazmo immediately steered her broom straight after the snitch that had knocked into her forehead.
She hoped that some other unexpected catastrophe would happen. They always turned out good in the end.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie hurried to hug June after she flew back into the air. She felt horrible that the bludger hit June instead of her. She flew up to her and asked her how she was feeling. It was good to know that no permanent damage was done.

Katie couldn't wait ot hear June's answer as she flew off after Becca, hoping to help her fellow Gryffie Chaser score. Besides that, she knew it would be comforting to Becca if she knew someone was there to help her out.

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Becca though quickly, going over different things that they could do in her mind. She thought of one...but her face fell when she realized how many times they'd used it already that season. Her mind could be annoyingly repatitive somtimes. Suddenly, though, Becca thought of something that she could manage. She spared a glance at Katie, and smiled, giving her friend a wink. Katie knew what it would meant.

Becca threw the quaffle lightly, just hard enough so that it would go long enough for Katie to be able to get it.

"Go gryffindor, GOOOOO!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, looking like a fool but feeling better than ever.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie saw her friends settle wink, and saw Becca drop the red ball into her outstreatched arms. She was slightly shocked to hear Becca scream GRYFFINDOR! from above and it almost made her drop the ball. However she regained her composer and lined up her shot. With a final look back at Becca and a glance at June urging her on, she threw the ball threw the goal posts that the Hufflepuff Keeper was trying to defend. Luckliy for Katie and her team, the keeper didn't seem to see them and the ball went soaring past them easily.

"Yes!" she shouted. Turning to hug her friends and cheer some Gryffie cheers

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June raised and waved her bat in the air in celebration. “GO GO GRYFFINDOR!!!!” she shouted, only to find that her cry was covered by the lion’s roar. She turned her head and grinned at the floating portrait and waved at the proud lion who was roaring, “GO GO GRYFFINDOR!!” over and over again. June flew towards her friends and high-fived them. “Fantastic work both of you!” she said exuberantly. Afterwards, she floated slightly upwards, on the look-out for anything that could harm her wonderful Chasers and friends.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Grabbing the quaffle, she waved at Jazmo for warning her of the bludger and streaked back to the goal posts.

Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she glanced around and saw that all of the gryffindor players were on the other side of the pitch celebration in loud yells

Grinning, she took that as an distraction and mentally counted '1,'2,3' on the count of three, she threw the quaffle straight up in the air a few feet and her right foot met it in impact.

As the quaffle went in the hoop, she dimly heard a chimie confirming that

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT" Schuyler's ears were exlpoding after the Gryffindors score, but she still managed to scream a little after Dragon's score. Power to the Huffies! Racing over to say good job to Dragon, she noticed that in her earlier absence, June had fallen, but was okay.

"She better be okay!" Schuyler moaned. Scanning the pitch for the quaffle, Skie brought her head back in the game.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie moaned when Dragon scored and raced to her end of the pitch to get the quaffle back from Amby, the Gryffie Keeper. She really wanted Gryffindor to get a good lead on the Huffies but wasn't sure how realisitic that was. As she caught the ball Dragon had just moments ago thrown through the hoop, Katie made a sharp u-turn clutching the quaffle close to her body, she soared towatrd the Hufflepuff goals.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Racing after Katie, she trailed the Gryffindor Chaser just in case the red clad chaser accidently dropped the ball.

As they near the hoops, Dragon frantically waved for the keeper to get ready as she hovered behind Katie

Schuyler moaned as Katie snatched the quaffle away from the air after it was sent into play, but admited, it was good catch. Sighing about frostbite and hypothermia, Skie zoomed after Dragon to get ahold of the quaffle.

Ready for the second that Katie so much as faltered and dropped the qauffle, Schuyler waited a few meters under Katie's broom to catch any qauffle that happened to fall into her hands. As Katie grew nearer and nearer to the Huffie goal, Skie grew more anxious about the coming score.

"Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out." Schuyler sucked wind in through her mouth and held it, and then let it out, calming herself. The only problem was, now, her tongue was cold.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

Crap… June repeated the word over and over in her mind as her eyes glared daggers at Dragon and Skie. Such a quick goal… She rapidly shook her head and whispered to herself, “Focus June, focus!!!” She couldn’t do anything to change the past… but she could do something about the future. June pulled up on her broom and circled around the center of the pitch. She squinted and shivered, trying to spot a bludger. A dot of red flashed past her eyes and June quickly spun. IT was Katie with the quaffle!!! June smiled in delight and returned to her search. It was even more imperative now to find a bludger! She spun once more and smirked. It seemed the lord of bludgers was answering her calls. BLUDGER!!! June raced after it and raised her bat. While she flew, she eyed the air below her…. Dragon was flying below Katie… but not for long. Reaching the bludger, June slammed it with her bat, straight towards the Huffelpuff Chaser.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"DRAGON! BLUDGER!" Schuyler waved her arms back and forth trying to get Dragon's attention. She was really dead if the bludger hit her straight on. Still attempting to save Dragon, Skie coaxed a little more speed out of her broom to reach her, just in case she didn't hear her warning. Better that she get ahold of Dragon before the bludger did...

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

'Bludger? What blu-? Oh that one.' Hearing Skie's yell she wheeled around doing a sharp u-turn. The bludger missing her only by a few inches.

Glancing at Katie, she watch her throw the quaffle - and miss by a few inches.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"OH YEAH BABY!" Schuyler rocked back on her broom and punched the air excitedly. No score for Gryffindor! Wobbling slightly after her attack on the defenseless air above her head, Skie clutched her broom to regain balance. WOOT! All right, what to do? What to do? Catch the quaffle you idiot. Schuyler was brought back to reality by the little voice in her head that she normally didn't listen to, but this time, it had a point.

"Quaffle, quaffle, quaffle, quaffle.... QUAFFLE!" Spotting the quaffle just as it was thrown back into play, Skie scooped it out of the air in a jerky catch that she worried she was going to lose the ball. Digging her fingers into the hard leather, she let go of her broom with her other hand and attempted to let it fly on it's own. Juggling the ball for a second, she got the situation under control, but there was a minor problem, she realized as she looked up. Schuyler was on a crash course to the ground and only a few feet from impact. No time to think, Skie yanked the broom up with the hand that wasn't holding the quaffle. Feeling the unpleasant feeling of her broom bucking beneath her as she scraped it across the ground, she sighed with relief as she realized that a disaster had been averted. One obstacle down, now it was off to the Gryffie hoops to go for another score.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Sighing in relief she realized that Skie was aright, Dragon flew behind her fellow Chaser and they both flew towards the goal.

Doing a loop in the air, she rubbed her numb hands together and wished she had brought mittens

(Gryffindor Beater)

"Oh shoot," Izzy exclaimed as she saw Katie miss the goal, "That was soo close."

Izzy decided that she was going to send a bludger at Dragon Weaver, so maybe next time Katie would score. Quickly she glanced around and saw a bludger right behind the Hufflepuff goalposts.

"Hmmm, that must have been the the bludger that missed Dragon." Izzy mused.

Izzy went over to the bludger and smacked it towards June. Quickly, Izzy tried to get June's attention. Suddenly, she had an idea. June and Izzy had come up with ways to communicate their plays. Izzy took a deep breath, hoping she would not barf. Trying to place herself in the most open area of the quidditich pitch, Izzy started barrel rolling. After about three times, she hoped that June would notice soon....

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

"What was she doing?! June stared in confusion at her friend. Why was Izzy barrel rolling? The move was just so random... exactly like the Lion Stalker. Suddenly, all the pieces clicked together in June's head. Izzy was trying to signal her. June blinked coming out of her daze. Izzy had sent a signal, and obviously from her actions she was going through with the play, whether June understood or not. June's mind must have been slowed by the chilly temperature of the day... She really wasn't thinking quickly at all. From what she now comprehended she was supposed to be in position for the play... right about now. Rolling her eyes at her own stupidity, June quickly turned her broom and flattened herself on it, flying toward the position that she should have been in a few seconds ago. She reached her point and turned just in time to see a black ball hurtling towards her. Shocked into action, June raised her bat and instinctively batted it away. Continuing the play, June watched as her bludger flew straight through the air and hit the center Hufflepuff goalpost. She hid a smile, knowing that Izzy would know what to do next.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Frowning at the Gryffindor actions, she muttered 'wonder what they are doing' Scanning the two beaters, she watched as Izzy did a roll in the air. Turning her attention to June she looked just in time to see the dreaded bludger come hurtling to towards her and Skie.

Grabbing Skie, she pulled them away from it and closer to the hoops for Skie to score

(Gryffindor Beater)

Izzy positioned herself in front of the Hufflepuff goalposts waiting the bludger June had hit to rebound off the goalposts. Just as the bludger rebounded and gained more speed she got ready to hit the bludger. Just as she was about to hit the bludger Izzy saw Dragon pull a helpless Skie toward the Gryffie goalposts. From the way that Dragon pulled her away it looked like they were trying to aviod something. It couldn't POSSIBLY be the bludger, Izzy thought, The bludger was aimed at the GOALPOST not the two chasers.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye Izzy saw that the bludger was almost on top of her. Izzy stuck out her arm, bat in hand. She catapulted the bludger towards June doing a 180 degree turn in the process; because June was behind her near the Gryffindor goalposts. Izzy chuckled, still slightly amused at the Dragon's move. "Maybe the cold weather isn't only getting to June" Izzy commented slyly.

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June smiled as she saw Izzy's bludger heading towards her. Everything was going exactly as planned, except that Dragon seemed to be being chased by invisible things. She raised her bat, getting ready. As she waited, June glanced to her right, where Dragon and Skie were, near the Gryffindor goals. They hadn't moved much and after she locked in their position, June turned back to the oncoming bludger. Moving forward and to the side a little, June moved her bat to the side as well.

When the bludger finally reached her, June smirked evilly and with a SMASH, slammed her bat into the bludger at a right angle to the bludger's original path. Her eyes shone excitedly as they followed the bludger's path. Straight towards the quaffle nestled in Skie's arms. The bludger was moving rapidly, spurred on by the rebounds that gave it much more added speed. June seriously doubted that Skie would be able to dodge, or that Dragon would have time to pull her out of the way.... again. The bludger spiraled towards the Hufflepuff Chaser and to her unmathematical eye, it looked almost as fast as the speed of sound.
