Hogwarts Years: FIRST YEAR

First topic message reminder :

For any one and everyone no matter the age. This is the first time your characters goes to Hogwarts.

Zelda had just gotten off the train and was on the boat headed towards to grand castle.. "This is magnificent!" Zelda said to the other students on the boat...

Zelda looked at Magonigal and than back at her book.

"Then you may proceed to the next chapter." Said Mcgonnagle.

"Then wait quietly while the others finish." Said Professor Mcgonnagle, not looking up from the pile of work she was marking.

Shadow finished the chapter and also pulled out a book.

Zelda looked over to what Oddie was reading and her eyes grew wide.

"Riddle! Rundell! Stop talking!" Barked Mcgonnagle. Shadow looked over the top of her book, quietly watching the pair.

The professor laid down her quill.
"AS we all seem to have finished the text, we shall proceed. I want you to change a mouse's colour to blue, understood. The spell is: colo colui cultum ut puteulanus. Rundell, please hand out the mice."

Shadow pointed her wand at her mouse, muttered the spell and watched her mouse turn black. Rats She thought.

Zelda handed the furry little critters to everyone and than pointed her wand at the mouse.. " colo colui cultum ut puteulanus" She said and the mouse flew in the air.. She had a worried looked on her face.. " What is the wand movement Mame?" Zelda asked.

"The wand movement is a sweep along the mouse's body." Said Professor Mcgonnagle.

"Riddle! Stop playing with your mouse!" Professor Mcgonnagle barked again, "Roth, I said blue not black!"

Shadow flinched and tried the spell again, but the mouse turned bright pink.

Zelda readied her mind and thought... " colo colui cultum ut puteulanus" She said with a sweeping wand movement and her mouse turned blue.

Jamie walked nervously into the classroom
"mmmmm.... sorry im late Miss...... mmmm... I.I.I" he stamerd

Natalie Patterson entered the room, looking rather forlorned.

"Jamie! Wait for me-oh Proffesor..I'm Sorry I'm late.....I needed to ask Proffesor Flitwick about my Charms Homework...tell her Jamie....Jamie?

Zelda watched new people walk in.

Professor Mcgonnagle looked up at the two late people, an eyebrow raised.
"Just take a mouse and sit down." She said wearily.

Jamie took his seat and then offered the next seat to Natalie....

Yet another young first year girl, Natalie Patterson, looks for an compartment in which she can sit in. She is dragging her heavy trunk and caged owl Midnight behind her. She is carrying a large volume under her arm. She looks shy. This is all very new to her, being muggle born.

"Thanks Jamie," said Natalie, "watch out, your mouse is trying to behead my mouse!"

She pulled her mouses head out of Jamie's mouses hands. But Jamie's mouse ran at her mouse again in a violent manner.

"Mr Carton, control your mouse!" exclaimed Professor McGonnegal.

"Yeah, Jamie," Natalie signed in exasperation. She muttered to herself "can't even control mouse."

Zelda watched.

Ishida another 1st year boy arrived near the 1st year stundent Shadow and Micheal.
Hi i am Ishida, did anyone know how to get to the Hogwarts ? he say

Shadow looked up at Ishida, but looked back down again, staying silent.

Natalie looked up from the mouse battle, and noticed Zelda sitting watching them. Natalie smiled at Zelda.

"Hi, how are you? You know, I don't think my friend Jamie's mouse want to be transfigured..." she joked.

Emmalynn Malfoy, a fifth year at Hogwarts and prefect, had been asked by Hagrid to help gather the first years and get them to the boats. She wandered through the crowd, telling all the younger looking ones where to go. She came across a group with two boys and two girls and stopped next to them.

"Hello, my name is Emmalynn. Do you four know where to go?" she asked kindly.

Shadow jumped suddenly as Emmalynn spoke. She turned around to face the 5th year, afraid.

Zelda smiled at the comment and said " I am great and how about you?"

'At last after 3 days journey (becoz we got to travel by plane before train)... Hogwarts' S said Ishida. 'Yo! is tat a human!? hm.. I smell some giant...' looking at Hagrid...
( He look tasty enough for a meal....)

Shadow heard the comments from S and hoped that he wouldn't be able to sense what she was.

"Hey , Shadow, I still can sense!! " S, shouted

Shadow flinched visibly and pulled her hood further down over her face, turning her back on S.

(hm...does she think hoods blocks vampires..)

(No, she doesn't like people seeing who she is. Her half-brother is a half vampire)

(hm...whatever ..)
"Ishida, you lazy one! Wake up! or you 'll be back in London!"

Shadow quietly followed Emmalynn, keeping her head bowed.

"I"m ok," said Natalie, "I got a bit of a bad bite from a post owl the other day, but Madam Pomfrey fixed it up in a jiffy, so its all good again," she flexed her newly healed hand.

"Shadow." She replied quietly.

Zelda smiled at her.. " Maybe we can go to the library next and study together." She said.

"I don't know..." She replied.

Ishida who doesn't know any thing started following Shadow and Emmalynn.
