Let the match begin...

(SLYTHERIN BEATER)

::Deciding that one against half the gryffindor team was too much for him, as his shoulder was still sore from Waterlily's hit earlier, Snape decides to focus back on the apparently unactive griffindor chasers.

Well, he had time to filter through the slytherin beater moves they had been working on. Circling in the air above the action, he kept his eye on the game whilst watching for a specific gryffindor chaser move so he could work the menouvers into the game::

(Slytherin Chaser)

Stealth sees the bludger heading towards him at a considerable rate of knots. He knows he can't get out of teh way, so he barrel rolls the Firebolt, the bludger passing harmlessly over the broom when he is inverted.

Getting a little angry, he flies straight at the Gryffindor beaters, who scatter before him. He pulls up just in tome to see Kitty foil an attack on the Slytherin hoops. The quaffle has gone free and Moonie has scooped it up. She nods at Stealth and then heads off towards Chick, her course somewhat erratic, as if her broom is not firing on all bristles. She must have been doing her tactical homework as Stealth recognises the opening play in the Slytherin Singe. He sees Chick staring oddly at Moonie.... But then she smiles, nods and heads towards her fellow chasers.

"Who's gonna do the business?" asks Chick.

Stealth say that he will take care of the business and tells the other two to stick to the basic plan.

He then flies off to the Gryffindor hoops and buzzes around Swifty in a well annoying manner. Each time Swifty loses her temper, he buzzes off behind the hoops and pulls silly faces at her. Her attention is once again caught by the appraoching Slytherin chasers. Her attention is then locked on the quaffle, which is now being passed backwards and forwards between Chick and Moonie.

Stealth check the position of the Gryffindor beaters, who once agian seem to be intent of stalking Snape. He eases the tip of his wand down teh sleeve of his quidditch robes and points it at the very back of Swifty's broom.

"Incendio!" he hisses.

Immediately the back of Swifty's broom bursts into falme. The split second distraction is all that is required. Chick and Moonie are on the Gryffindor goals in a matter of seconds, the quaffle thrown double handed through the centre hoop.

Yes! teamwork was paying off well this night.

"Sorry, Swifty - Wrong place at the wrong time... Finite incantatem!" The flames subside. "I hope it didn't get too toasty back there..."

He flies off before she can whack him with a goalpost again.

(Slytherin chaser)

::Chick, giggleing bucause of Swifty's broom, goes back in position waiting for Swifty to throw the Quaffel back out. She threw it...Chick jumpped up in the air intercepting it...She darted for the Gryffindor hoops. Cheery got directly in front of her.So Chick passed it over to Moonie....Moonie to Stealthy...Stealthy back to Chick....ina repeting pattern toward the hoops..::

(SLYTHERIN BEATER)

::Snape follows blondechick, a bludger bouncing upon his bat as he clears the path to the hoops. Reaching the hoops, he glances at blondechick before performing a double-back double doplegang single player swoop towards the gryffindor chaser who lies between chick and the hoops, With the way clear, Snape nodsat chick and waits for the quaffle to sour through the hoops::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL shakes her head and thinks to herself, (Must get rid of STEALTH!)

She flies to get a bludger but just as she aims it towards stealth, she sees chick trying to score. Swifty is stil trying to waft away the smoke from her broom so WL backhands the bludger at chick, knocking her off her broom.

Then, sighing in frustration, she dives down and lifts chick back onto the broom so she is at least safe.

But then, she sees the other bludger heading right towards her so she and skully team together, FAIRLY, and double hit it with topspin right at stealth, who promptly falls off his broom. Luckily, he was only about 20 feet off the ground so the fall wasn't that bad. But WL didn't have time to rescue ANOTHER Slytherin. Weren't they supposed to be resourceful?

She gritted her teeth at the foulplay that was shown but still couldn't pull herself to foul back. That would be un-WL-like.::

(Slytherin Seeker)

~Our devilishly handsome, more determined,happy,sneaky,sweet,sexy,cunning,clever,intelligent,agile,amazingly-arrogantly-awesome,brilliant, daring, ego-driven,fantastic,good-looking,hypnotically-hot,interestingly,joyful,kick-butt,loving,magnificient,newly-revived,outstandingly proud and prideful,quick-witted,rough and rambunctious risk taking,speed-flying,thrillseeking,unbeliveably,vivacious,wonderfully,x-cellent,yummily young,zig-zagging, Slytherin Seeker, Fated, soars through the air in a determined attempt to find the snitch.~(gives everyone a moment to catch up as so much to read~...ready? ok ...~continues..)

~He swoops down, and does a fancy roll in the air, dodging one bludger and then diving under the Gryffindor Keeper.He veers to the left and then zooms back towards the Slytherin area where Pad seems to be flying after something! *Could it be?? Has he found the snitch??* Fated thinks to himself.~
*No time to second guess myself. If it is the snitch, then I'd better get over there!*
~So Fated grips his broom tightly and with a burst of speed, he's off! Flying towards the Slytherin side, he dodges a near collision with skully, and almost side-swipes Waterlily~
~Swiiiiiiiiiiiiiishhhhhhhhhhhh~ He turns sharply as he avoids Snape's bat that is in mid swing about to hit a bludger~Fated performs a rather odd manuver as he rolls three timeswhile doing a cork-screw dive underneath Snape's broom and zooming on his way~

~There's Pad!! The snitch it only a foot in front of him!! *He's gonna get it!! NO!!!* Fated mentally snarls as he barrels toward the Gryffindor Seeker. *He's not getting it! That snitch is mine!* And seeing Pad's hand reaching out to get it, Fated knows he won't be able to grab it before Pad does. ~~

~And then his Slytherin senses kick in. His blue eyes narrow slowly, filled with determination, Fated steers his broom a little to the left. *I know we're friends but I'm also a true Slytherin and if I can't get the snitch, then neither will you, Pad*~He thinks.~
~Just as Pad's hand almost closes around the snitch, Fated turns and 'accidentally' on purpose- crashes into him.~~~~~~
~~CRASH~~

::WL rolls her eyes. At least SOME people - herself and swift - are actually trying to deflate his head. (Hmmm. Doesn't seem to have made any difference. Yet)

WL undoes the catch on her beater bat and it breaks apart to become two. She then catches one bludger, then the other one, and launches them at jesse so that he loses sight of the snitch. Skul hovers on the other side and hits them back at jesse as they rebound.

Once WL thinks he is battered enough, she stops and she and skul take almighty double whacks at them, sending them towards stealth.

She then Ferulas jesse's broken bones and gives him a dose of painkiller. Even in a violent, blodthirstly match, she must give medical attention to those who need it.::

(G Keeper)

::Once again furious at Stealth's ability to sneak up behind her, Swift turned her attention back to Moonie. The irritating buzzing sound behind her would have to be ignored for the moment, but her concentration had been lost once she had helped Stealth... something she now realised she shouldn't have done.

She also realised that she shouldn't care if her broom was on fire. But it was, and Stealth, the evil, conniving, awfully-annoying Slytherin was once again the source of her frustration. Again. She whipped out her wand, cleared the smoke, and returned to those annoying Slytherins. She wasn't going to let them get to her again.

They were at it again. She sighed, this time preparing herself for whatever was to come. The Quaffle was coming steadily nearer, and Swift grit her teeth, knowing that to fail to save this would be mental torture. Moonie pulled her arm back, as if to score, but Swift knew by now to expect better of those scummy chasers. The Quaffle had been passed to Stealth, who also made as if to score, but passed to Chick, who had thrown the ball so quickly it would have taken the keenest eye to spot where it was.

Lucky Swift had one then. She caught the Quaffle against her chest, smirked at Stealth, and passed it as hard as she could to Moony, who took off with it, passing it Cheery and to rip (who, weirdly enough, was not supposed to be there). This match was quickly getting to Swift...::

(Slytherin seeker)

~Voicing his ouches and ows, Fated now quite wounded even though his broken bones were fixed, manages to fight off the remaining pains that are plaguing him. Shooting a cold smirk at Waterlily, he then shifts his eyes towards swift and then fakes a dizzy spell as he 'accidentally collides with her, causing her to almost fall off her broom. "Oh ow ow my poor head. I am so dizzy." he moans dramatically. As swift is struggling to stay on her broom, Fated sneaks his hand into his robes and pulls out a small vial of acidic potion. He keeps it under his sleeve as he discreetly pours a couple of drops of it onto the back bristles of swift's broom. He then quickly turns and flies away, wondering if she will ever notice that acid is eating away at the bristles of her broom, which will cause her speed to decrease greatly and will also slowly eat away her broom in time.~

~With one evil deed done, he soars up into the air and then swooping back down, he makes a slow circle around Waterlily,-as he is behind her he drops a few quick drops of the acidic potion onto her broom bristles descreetly as well. Then forcing a friendly smile at her he says "Good shot there, Mittens. I am quite impressed" He says rubbing his ribs and other places that had been broken. He goes on and on complimenting her, keeping her distracted and giving the acid time to do its dirty work on her broom bristles.~She looks so flattered as he compliments her... but oh so naive she is.~

"Well, keep up the good work, Mittens. I need to search for the snitch now." He finally says with a wink at her. As she smiles and waves, he waves and then turns and starts flying away. When he's far enough away he smirks with a cold chuckle. *Oh so easy is sweet revenge* He thinks as he zooms off in search of the snitch~~

(Gryffondor beater)

(Oh dear he is so innocent. How sweet. He doesn't know that acid can be neutralised. Note to self. Give poor Jesse some Chemistry lessons after the match)

::As jesse circles her, she secretly puts some Sodium Hydroxide onto her broom and banishes some to swift to use. Then she sighs and takes out a flask of tea. She then goes over to jesse and offers it to him.::

"Would you like some tea? It's got some restorative potion in it. Might help your injuries."

::Because jesse is so tired, he gladly takes a gulp, but then starts sputtering because it has burnt his throat.::

"Whoa! Idiot! You're not supposed to gulp it! It's tea! You know...BOILING WATER!!"

::She hands him a tissue and zooms away grumpily because he spilt all her tea.::

~Slytherin seeker~

~Coughing and sputtering over the steaming hot liquid that has now burned his throat, he puts his hand on his chest in an attempt to recover from his coughing attack. His eyes are all watery now and his face is red from the coughing. "Gah, th-~coughts~ that burned!" he chokes out. After another cough or too he inhales and then flies off to try to continue his search. But only a few minutes later does he start to feel sleepy.*What was in that tea?* He wonders as his eyelids start to become heavy. Then slowly he leans forwards resting his head against his broom handle and falls asleep~~~
"ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz"

(Gryffindor beater)

::WL looks confused as Jesse falls asleep.::

(Huh?! There was no sleeping potion in there! But there was...)

::WL grins as she sees the effects of her Think Aloud Thermos potion in the tea. She flies over to Jesse and chokes back a laugh as she sees in a comical bubble over his head, "Huh? What happened? WL poisoned me!".

She giggles and cast a Ennervate charm on him. As he blinks, she says,

"No I didn't poison you. But now your thoughts are open for all to see! Think carefully!"

She laughs as he thinks "I will turn right". And then she aims a bludger just where he will be when he turns, so he goes ramming straight into the bludger!

(His fault. Not mine. He should look where he's going.)

She lets go of her little grudge against jesse and looks for other slytherins to torment.::

(Slytherin seeker)

~~As Fated is awakened, and his thoughts are open to all he thinks "Wow, Jess is so hot. She's my princess, my love, my beautiful angelic, Dramione Queen" ~Then he scratches his head. "Dude, I should change my boxers, they're riding up on me again. I wonder if I need to trim my nose hairs. Duuude, is that my fly unzipped!!!~ Gasps and looks down, but thankfully it's only his imagination. ~"Whew, I really gotta get my head out of the gutter." ~He suddenly turns hearing a whistling sound. "Oh piddlebottoms! There's a bludger coming towards me!" ~But before he could get out of the way, the bludger crashes right into Fated's face. There's a loud sickening crunching sound as it breaks his nose and blood pours from it. Fated is knocked unconcious and falls off of his broom, plummeting towards the ground below~~~

::Swift laughed, catching the conical flask of NaOH (sodium hydroxide.... ) and pouring it over her broom. WL did have the stack of most useful resources at the worst of times...

Turning her attention back to the match, Swift smirked as she saw Jesse's... not very PG-13 thoughts appearing over his head. That was a powerful potion WL slipped in that tea...::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL snorted in laughter as Jesse's thought's appeared over his head. What WAS he thinking?! Oh yeah! I know what he's thinking! Oh I really need to control myself...

She beamed at swifty and offered her a piece of fudge. The quaffle was doing well near the slytherin goalposts and the bludger's were hitting slytherins without any help.

Then, she spied a bludger aiming towards Paddy. She then signalled to skully and they zoomed off, working as a team and using both bludgers to protect the chasers in the Protego Play. The bludgers spun round and round the chasers and at the last minute, WL and skully broke apart and allowed the chasers to SCORE!. Twice! Because Skully had had the sense to hit a bludger at the keeper for distraction and WL had followed her lead.

THAT was teamwork...!::

(Slytherin Chaser)

Stealth sighs and thinks about the old adage that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. When you react a concentrated acid with a concentrated base, yes, they neutralise each other, but a LOT of heat is given off (heat of neutralisation at 13 kcal per mole)...

He looks backwards and forwards between WaterLily and Swifty - yes, Swifty is definitely the worse off, she must have tipped the whole 250ml flask full onto the bristles... There is no time to shout a warnng. He zooms straight at her, grabs her around the waist and heaves her off her broom, shrieking and kicking, just before the bristles of her own broom burst into flame with almost explosive force, sending it crashing to the ground.

"Hang on, Swifty, I don't have time to put you down before the same thing happens to WaterLily."

Having seen her broom almost explode, Swifty realises that this wasn't another Slytherin dirty trick. She manages to get her leg over the Firebolt's handle and sit astride it.

"Will this carry three, Stealthy?"

"It's going to have to - at least as far as the ground! Can you grab WaterLily and pull her off her broom while I try to control our flight?"

"I'll give it my best Gryffindor shot!"

"What more could a man ask for... By the way, when I say flight, I mean more of a controlled plummet!"

By this time they had reached WaterLily, who still had not realised the danger she was in. Without ceremony, Swifty yanks her team mate off her broom. There isn't any more room on the Firebolt, so poor WaterLily is suspended underneath by her cloak. The weight of three is too much and Stealth's broom starts to drop.

"Swifty! What the...!" WaterLily starts to yell angily. She is interrupted by a booming explosion as the bristles of her broom, which had dropped to the ground, explode.
Stealth manages to kill most of the downward speed and they make a soft enough landing, forming a tangle of arms, legs, broom and quidditch robes.

"I don't understand it," says WayerLily when they had managed to extricate themselves.
"Yeah, I knew there would be heat, but how on earth can bristles explode like that?"

"Aha," says Stealth. "You forgot that there is resin in the bristles and that the broom makers always coat them in many layers of varnish to increase strength while retaining flexibility..."

"Both of which are highly flammable," finishes WaterLily. "Oops!"

"I'll give you oops," laughs Stealth. "Now you better go get replacement brooms while my team mates make the best of your loss of a keeper and a beater!"

He mounts his Firebolt and takes to the air, looking at his fellow chasers and pointing at the rather sad loooking and most definitely undefended Gryffindor hoops.

::If only Swift listened in her muggle Chemistry lessons... Of course she did, but who needs to remember whether a reaction was exothermic or not?! However thrilling it was to be sitting behind Stealthy... she quickly banished that thought as she pulled WL off her broom, somehow managing to keep her suspended in the air.

Swift stood on the ground with WL, quite relieved that she wasn't on her broom. She was, however, induced to a slight panic at the sight of the Gryffindor posts quite unguarded.

"Accio Firebolts!" she shouted, pointing her wand towards Gryffindor Tower. A crash through the window signalled the arrival of the two Firebolts that Swift kept in her trunk, used regularly on her late night escapades.... ahem. She thrust one towards WL, giving her a look that said 'Harm it and you're dead', then took off to guard her goalposts.::

(Slytherin beater)

"JESSE!" ::Jess screams soaring as fast as she can down with her broom and pulls out her wand and slows him down and then hits the ground before he dose and trys to catch him but she cant hold him as shes not very strong and he lands on top of her::

"POPPY!!! POPPY!!" ::she screams at the nurse as she is very impatient::

::she puches him off of her and puts his head in her lap::

"baby dont die on me! Jesse, Jesse Wake up"

(Gryffindor beater)

::WL shrugs dissmissively. Then, she puts a protective charm on swift's broom to protect it and zooms off. Nothing could destroy that broom now...why hadn't she thought of it before?!

She can see that skully has everything under control and that swifty has also got the goals covered now. Thank Merlin's Nit-Ridden Beard for that!!!

She goes over to her and swifty's remains and tries her best restorative charms on it, her speciality.

They went back somewhat to their original state, but WL could see that they needed more 'medical' attention. (Hmm. Who knew!? Oh well...)

WL took a small sample of the resin/acid/alkali remains and put it into her protected pocket for further analysis.

Then, she shrinks the two old brooms, puts them in another pocket and straightens her robes. They had flown quite embarassingly over her head in her, stealth and swift's descent. What was done was done. At least no one had seen her. Or so she hoped.::

(Slytherin Seeker)

~Those words. <I>"baby dont die on me! Jesse, Jesse Wake up"</I>

Were they just a dream? His world was dark, nothing but an empty void of blackness. And then he felt something on the side of his face. A hand. A soft hand, even softer than silk. And it was then that he discovered that his head was resting on something soft as well. And then something wet hit his cheek. He forced himself back to conciousness and opened his eyes to see a teary eyed beautiful girl named jess looking down at him.
"Jess...'"He says weakly as madame pomprey stiches him up and heals him~

~He sits up, and looks to see that the game is still going on. "I need to get that snitch" he says as he then stands up.
"Jesse, you need to rest a little longer" Jess says sternly as she stands up and huffs.
"I will rest later" He snaps as he snatches up his broom from the ground and starts towards the game. Then he stops and turns back to her. He sighs, noticing she is on the brink of tears and walks back over to her. "Thanks, for saving me." He then leans over and kisses her.

"Let's go win this for Slytherin, ok?" he says after pulling away and gazing at her with warm, caring eyes. "I know earlier I almost let you get hurt but from now on, I'll catch you no matter what. I need you, Jess."~~He watches her smile and it warms his heart. He then turns and walks a few steps away and jumps on his broom. He zooms up into the air and back towards his Slytherin team mates. It takes more than that to stop our truly loyal Slytherin Seeker. And no sooner does he arrive then the snitch goes racing past him. He whirls around and blasts off after it~~

(Slytherin beater)

::Jess laughs::

"Hes crazy he really is" ::then she mounts her broom and heads up to work on her neglected job of stopping waterlily from killing her whole entire team::

"WL whats up with the gryffindore team? I thought slytherins were the mean ones... I mean I would never try to kill paddy hes like awsome."

::Jess heads off to the bludger thats heading straight for Lisa who has her back turned and gives it a little force(cheery not flisan lol)::

"Oy Lisa watch out!" ::Jess watches as Lisa turns around and the bludger hits her in the side::

"sorry Lisa!" Jess smiles,winks and then heads off to find another bludger.

(slytherin chaser)


::Chick looks around desperatly for the quaffel, and finds in no other then Cheery's hands. She races over to Cheery, and tries to get the Quaffel, but Cheery isnt giving it up easily.

"Who is that?" Chick asks. "Man he's hot.."
Cheery quickly turns her head to the direction where Chick was looking, Chick took Cheerys temporay distraction as an opertunity and grabs the quaffel.....she soars toward the Gryffindor hoops...swerving in and out of the Gryffindor players...finally she reaches the post....Swifty is NOT about to let her score, you can see it in her eyes. She looks to Moonie, Moonie nods. She tosses the ball to Moonie who Fakes right, Swifty follows, Moonie tosses the ball back to Chick, Swifty follows the ball. They looked at each other desperately....but as if reading their mind, Stealthy appeard. Chick threw the Quaffel to him...Swifty still follows...Moonie takes position at the right post, Chick to the left...Steath fakes toward Moonie, Swifty follows, but then Stealth quickly turns direction and throws to Chick, who scores.::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL hums as she weaves to and fro, trying to dodge the random chasers that come her way and get to the bludgers.::

"Yeah, Jess...slytherins are supposed to be mean. I'm not trying to kill anyone...I'm trying to hit them with bludgers. Isn't that my job? And it isn't my fault if people don't dodge them, so therefore, they get hit. And the bludgers are charmed not to kill anyone. Why do you think no-one's ever died from a bludger attack?!"

::WL zooms off and because Chick had just scored, she gets a present in the form of a nice fat bludger that scrapes her arm, rendering it useless (or nearly so) to carry the quaffle, making her drop it into Gryffindor possession.::

sLYTHERIN BEATER

::Snape watches the commotion on the pitch for a few minutes before shaking his head. He noticed the slytherin chasers score once more and grins.

Suddenly he notices the quaffle in the hands of the opposition, and heading straight towards their hoops. Snape signals to Romance as they both fly parallel down either side of the pitch, stopping when the gryffindor chaser is in between them. Looking round quickly, Snape hits the bludger to Romance who hits it back, circling the chaser and making her/him stop, confused. they pass it back and forth a few more times befor Snape slams the bludger against the rim of the goal hoop, rebounding it back onto the Gryffindor chaser. It slams into her/himand pushes her with speed back down the pitch, the quaffle flying straight out of her hands and into the grasp of the slytherin chaser. The confuddle rebound tactic certainly worked well that time!::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL saw that the Gryffindor beaters had used a bludger to stop the quaffle from being passed so she used the other one to knock the quaffle right out of slytherin's hands just as it had been caught.::

::She then raced after Moony who had been hit by the bludger and casts an Anti-Winding Spell on her to allow her to get her breath back.::

::She then zooms off like a bumblebee and hits a bludger at chick to prevent her from intercepting.::

(Slytherin Keeper)

::Moony01 flies towards the Slytherin hoops as fast as she can. She reaches them just as WL's buldger misses chick and zooms past. Moony01 focuses on the Quaffle as it comes nearer and nearer. Moonie grins at Moony01 and then focuses her attention on the left hoop. Moony01 starts moving towards the hoop when she notices Moonie's eyes dart towards the right hoop.

Moony01 smirks and swerves towards the right hoop at the last second and grabs the Quaffle with both hands.::

"Yes!" she whispers.

::She tosses the Quaffle to Stealth who is flying past. Stealth offers Moony01 a smile and zooms off down the pitch.::

(G Keeper... and WL, zooms off like a bumblebee??)

::Swift was not supposed to have let that Quaffle in. Really not. But she'd save it next time. Definitely. Moonie's somewhat snatching of the Quaffle from Moony (see how confusing that is?) was evil to say the least, but with Stealth now pelting down the pitch, straight at Swift, she had no time to reflect on Slytherin's tactics. He was grinning at her, steadily drawing nearer. No other Slytherin chasers were near him, so it was highly probable that Swift would save this.

Stealthie threw the Quaffle with so much that strength that it sent Swift (and the Quaffle) straight into the goalpost. Her whole body slammed against the hoop, but she had saved the Quaffle, and that was what mattered. Mustering a grin, she passed it to Cheery, who passed to Moony::

::Noticing that moony from gryffindor had the quaffle, snape quickly tailed him down the pitch, flying over his head and performing the double-barrel stop leading into a singleganger backhand. The bludger sailed easily behind him straight into the quaffle in moony's hand, causing him to drop it to the ground. Snape tails it until it falls straight into the hand of the slytherin chaser!::

(Slytherin Seeker)

~As Fated flies around in search of the snitch, it comes fluttering past him. As he turns, he is nearly side-swiped by Pad who is flying after the snitch as fast as he can go.~Fated is far from being 100%, but even being in his condition, he turns and zooms off after pad. He feels very weak and his body is aching but he is determind to get the snitch and so he speeds up~He tries to perform the 'Snake of Salazar' move but in the midst of it he loses control and nearly crashes into Snape, his own team mate. He utters a quick apology as he zooms back after pad. Pad's hand is now reaching towards the snitch. He's almost got it...~

~Allowing his Slytherin mind to overtake his Gryffindor heart Fated slams into Pad, causing the Gryffindor seeker to spin around a few times giving Fated the opportunity he needs. He reaches out, and catches the snitch~~

(Slytherin Chaser)

Stealth is the lucky Slytherin chaser who catches the quaffle dislodged by Snape's bludger blow...

Holding the quaffle close he streaks towards the Gryffindor hoops in an apparent exact repetition of the move he had just made. He had carefully observed Swifty's reaction to his blunt attack... Yes, she was doing exactly the same thing again - time for the Servo Screetch Stop! He goes even faster... As Swifty, not wanting to be slammed into the hoops again, boldly lunges out to intercept him, he performs an emergency braking manouevre, bringing his Firebolt to a halt in less than three broomlengths and slewing to the right.

Swifty shoots harmelssy past him - brave girl, she would have gone crashing into him.... The Gryffindor goal is momentarily undefended and he pops the quaffle through the right hand hoop.

Another 10 points for Slytherin!
