Christmas at Hogwarts

It was Christmas eve


Natalie sat at the Gryffindor table, which was half empty due to people going home for Christmas, but her sister and parents were on an away break in China, so she had decided to stay here. She wanted to play exploding snape with someone, but all her Gryffindor friends were absent.

"what are you doing Eliza?" Jamie asked her suspisously

"well i suggest you stop it before shadow goes all demonic on you" jamie warned

"What is this rumpass!" said Natalie, "why do I keep blanking out.....maybe it's that cruciatus curse that death eater hit me with earlier."

"Wow, calm down Eliza," said Natalie

(Is that ermine supposed to be like Dorothy's spirit???? just asking)

"Ok, sorry," Natalie muttered, "tell your ermine I'll give it a nice treat...like a biscuit...if it calms down," she said to Eliza in the air of someone talking about a cute dog.

"Ahhhhh, so it's sort of like a guardian....who empowers you," said Natalie in awe, "like a demon...only good."

Shadow's eyes were replaced by four red ones, showing that she was beginning to go into demonic possession. Hovering a few meters in the air, arms outstretched, Shadow's magic erupted from her palms in the form of black lightening.
"Oh good going Eliza." Raven muttered, flying up to try to calm her sister.

"Oh....flipping heck.....what the hell is happening to her," she screamed to Raven,"what's wrong...is she hurt...is she ok?"

Natalie was flipping out. She had never seen this happeneing to anyone before.

"Shut up so I can help her!" Raven shouted, dodging the bolts of magic in the air. "It's demonic possession, she lost control!"

Natalie quickly stopped screaming, and her eye's filled with tears. What was happening to her friend.

She ran over to stand next to Eliza.

"Yo Shady!" Raven shouted to her sister, ducking and diving. She was trying to get Shadow to focus on her, and not on the humans on the ground.

Raven managed to get behind Shadow, knocking her to the ground. Raven dived after her, pinning her sister's arms behind her back.
"Get a grip Shadow! Bring your emotions back under control!" Raven snarled at Shadow.

Natalie whimpered as she looked at shadow's four eye's.

Shadow was struggling against Raven's hold, but soon stopped. Raven let go cautiously, ready to react instantly. Shadow didn't make any hostile movement, and Raven gradually relaxed. Shadow glanced around quickly through her four red eyes, hoping not to see too much damage.

Shadow kneeled on the floor, head in her hands.
I could have killed some one She was thinking.

"Ok....now were all back to normal, can you to try to be cival around each other," said Natalie.

Shadow didn't move, but Raven walked over to Eliza.
"Sorry about my sister's behavior, she's a lot jumpier and fearful than me."

"You ok Shad?" Natalie asked

Shadow didn't reply.
"I'd leave her alone for a bit. She hates her demonic side." Raven advised.

"Yeah....it's a bit scary with other people too," said Natalie, still in shock

Raven sensed Natalie's shock.
"Sometimes, we cannot help who we are, but we have to deal with it. I've had to stop her committing suicide a lot."

"She'll be ok," said Natalie, "I know she's strong....she had to watch a friend die-" Natalie stopped abrutly.

"I know, that's why I'm here really. It doesn't take a lot to push her over the edge at the moment." Raven said quietly, watching Shadow with a worried air.

Raven nodded.
"She told me. Normally, she wouldn't lose control like that, but there is a lot of pressure on her at the moment, and it builds up as neither of us can freely express emotion."

"I"m so sorry Eliza," said Natalie sadly.

"As am I." Raven said courteously. She glanced over at Shadow. "She should be alright now." Raven walked over to her sister cautiously. Shadow made no move, so Raven sat down beside her.

S.master tried and hid himself behind a suit of armor as Peeve's party starts.

Raven bowed her head to Eliza, and started to talk to her sister softly in their native language.

"I shan't bother you right now," said Natalie to Eliza, who seemed the be procupied

Raven looked up at Eliza.
"Don't worry about that. Shadow and I do it all the time. It annoys the others though when we kinda space out."

"Well, apparently you learn that here. Expect the unexpected! Especially if you're no where near me. Shadow keeps reminding me to use the door." Raven said, smiling slightly.

Raven looked down at her sister.
"Sooo, you gonna take me down to the common room?" Shadow stared ahead with a blank look on her face. "Shadow?" Still no reply. "Great, she's zoned out again. SHADOW!" Raven bellowed into her sister's ear. Shadow jumped, eyes wide. She glared at Raven.
"You do realise that ALL of my emotions hate it when you do that?"
"Even Happy?"
"Yes, even her."

Jamie was leaning on a pillar near the two sisters and laughed, it was christmas a time for happy people and families..
Tonight he wasn't going to give Raven a hard tine aslong as Raven kept her peace.

Shadow and Raven stood up, looking around. Shadow smiled slightly at Jamie as he laughed. Raven raised an eyebrow at the pair, but kept her mouth shut.

Jamie looked away from Shadow, he stare was worse than her bite

Raven cuffed her sister lightly around the head.
"No emotions until you meditate." Shadow rolled her eyes and nodded.
