Christmas at Hogwarts

It was Christmas eve


Natalie sat at the Gryffindor table, which was half empty due to people going home for Christmas, but her sister and parents were on an away break in China, so she had decided to stay here. She wanted to play exploding snape with someone, but all her Gryffindor friends were absent.

Jamie now had the strenght to look over, only to see that she had alreadfy looked away... he was kind-of glad, he wasn't ready to blow up yet

Shadow withdrew to a corner and began to meditate silently, watched closely by Raven.

Jamie noticed that Ravens eyes seemed to be glued to Shadow,
"cus my life has been so ooooovvvverrrrrrr protected"

Raven looked towards Jamie, eyes narrowed.
"It takes her a while to get over demonic possession, and I'd rather she had some one to stop her killing herself." She said coldly.

"did i say that wehat you were doing is bad? NO i didn't acctually, i think what your doing is commendible" Jamie told her hiding the lie he was speaking

"Demons sense lies, Jamie. Tell the truth." Raven said, the air around her commanding.

"demons can also hide lies Raven! theres no way in this earth you could prove that i was lying!" he retorted

"In THIS earth, and you know perfectly well that we are not from this earth. As my sister, I can assure you that I will be watching her very carefully. Especially around you!" Raven snapped.

"That is soooooooo unfair!" Jamie snapped back "what threat am i to your sister?"

"Quite a big threat, actually." Raven replied coolly.

"in what way?" he asked her interested

"Shadow isn't supposed to feel any emotion, the barrier around her demonic side is weak. That is the threat you pose." Raven said.

"i oppose threat to her demon side" Jamie snorted,
"listen if the demon side is weak, she can battle on her good side, just like you can..." he told her

"You don't quite understand. You pose threat to her good side, because the demonic influence will use emotion to break free, taking over her mind. We have so far avoided that by breaking her concentration." Raven explained.

"since hwen did you care about her good side?" Jamie asked, she seemed to be telling the truth

"Since we found out about our 'other side'." Raven retorted.

"well then, i suppose you think thats it then don't you? one word and you think i will stop liking Shadow?" he snapped not even looking sorry for his actions

"I can make you very sorry if you put her through too much."
"Raven, enough." Shadow said, aroused from her meditation.

"doesn't matter Shad" he told her " myself and Raven were just having a conversation"

(what time is it in France?)

(Er... Half ten. I'll have to go soon)

"Sounded like a bit more than a conversation." Shadow replied, rubbing one ear.
"Shadow, stay out of it."
"More like you stay out of it."

(okay me too, my brother wants on i wasd wondering if you'd be on if i came back on but it's half nine here so obviosly not..)

a pot beside Raven exploded

"uh oh" Jamie whispered rubbing his temples "my bad!"

Shadow smiled, but got hit round the head by Raven.
"Nice to see I'm not the only one who makes things explode."

"told ya! didn't I?" Jamie asked her unsure if it was a dreaM HE'D TOLD ER IN...

"Eh... no." Shadow replied, slightly confused.

"okay....... right welll that clears things up!" he looked kinda embarressed

(we have already eaten but you can just walk over to the table or summit)

Shadow was trying to clear her mind, but it wasn't working. Her emotions were shouting at her, and giving her a headache.

"whats wrong?" Jamie asked Shadow sensing her pain

"All my emotions having a go at me." Shadow replied, rubbing her temples. Raven rolled her eyes.

"even happy?" Jamie asked using a fraise Raven had used

"Happy's one of the worst when it comes to talking." Shadow replied.

Jamie smiled "whats he say?"

"She, Happy's doing the usual mother act, knowledge is trying to find out exactly what's wrong, Wisdom is telling me off, Rude's apparently killing everyone... You get the picture." Shadow said.

"This is the part where I leave you two kids alone," Natalie said as she walked into the Great Hall.

"good thing or bad thing?" he asked flinching

"To be honest, I don't want to know." Shadow said smiling slightly.
"It wouldn't happen if you meditated more often." Raven pointed out.
"Raven, I have things to do around here, which do not include meditating."

Jamie looked over to Raven
"thats you told"

"Yes, but that;s not going to stop me." Raven said.

"ohhh determination!"

Raven strode over to Jamie, punching him in the nose as hard as she could.

Jamie turned her around and punched her back as she feel on the floor

"friends code of conduct, I hit back!" Jamie galred at the bloody nosed girl on the floor

Raven's eyes narrowed as she summoned her magic sending bolt after bolt of magic at Jamie.

jamie dodged the magic and giggled

"now now no bad magic infront of me!" jamie giggled childishly

Raven flew into the air, still shooting magic at Jamie. Shadow quickly flew up after her, firing her own bolts of magic at her sister.

Jamie felt a burning on his hands and stopped shooting magic about the place,
he stared at his red raw hands,
"ouch, thats what you get when you use too much of his stuff..." his eyes went back to their normal colour,
"bit of good magic wouldn't hurt" he told himself, "maybe it might even heal them while im fighting!" he shouted over to Raven

"Don't make things harder than they are!" Shadow shouted as she and Raven battled in the air.

Raven glared at Eliza, where as Shadow was concentrating more on Raven, to see if she made any hostile movements.

Jamie broke the glass that Shadow was tsuck in,

"you okay? what should we do woth her?" he asked not even looking at Raven

"I'm fine, and we should wait and see what she does. It's rare for Raven to lose control like that. She was always the goody goody out of the pair of us for that sort of thing." Shadow said, standing up.
