Holly's Fourteenth Birthday

Holly glanced once again in her portable mirror, unconvinced.
"You look fine," Riley said, "Seriously. Can I eat cake now?"
"Not yet doll," Holly said grinning, and examined the landscape, "People will be arriving soon.....THEN you can eat cake,"
She laughed.

Natalie walked in, followed by Chucky and Tiffany. They were all holding a prescent; Natalie was holding five huge packages, and Chucky and Tiffany were holding one small bag each.

"Ooooh, cake," said Chucky, "ooooh, a knife."

Tiffany smiled.

"Don't mind him...I gave him fizzing wizbies before we came to keep him relaxed," said Natalie, "and she didn't need any...did you Tiff?"

"Not really sweetface," said Tiffany.

Holly smiled falsely at the terrible two, and then at Natalie.
"Hey Nat," she said, "Youre early. Hows it crackin?"

"Ok...like I said...don't worry about him...he's in a stable condition...not homasidal today, are we Chucky?" said Natalie.

"Look Tiff...hahaha...banners," said Chucky absently.

"Don't worry sweetface," said Tiffany to Holly, "oh by the way, you look very pretty today...new clothes."

"Hey," said Natalie, "I was gonna say that!"

"Oh, sorry honey," said Tiffany, smiling , "I just got used to complimenting before I kill...though I'm not going to kill you," she added to Holly.

Holly nodded smiling, but let Riley step in front of her protactively.
"Thanks," she muttered, facing Riley's back, "You smell nice Riley,"

"Are you wearing after shave...and is that a new suit...and have you combed your hair?" said Natalie, grinning wider at every word she uttered.

Hayley entered, and stumbled towards Holly. She was carryin a rather large present, and several small ones. Jake was behind her carrying a small bag. Hayley smiled, and set the presents down "I got you...food, jewelry, a new eyeliner and...this super massive broom kit," Hayley said, setting the stuff down. "It has, a manual, compass, tweezers, polish, pain, and loads more. It's and updated one of the old version!" She went over to hug Holly. "Happy Birthday Bris." she said happily.

"So you didnt get me much then," Holly said incredulously. Not once in her life had she ever got anything as much as this.
"Thanks Hayles....my god....thats far too much darlin!"

"Hey Hayley," said Tiffany.

"Cake," said Chucky, absently.

"He's been stablized by sweets," said Natalie, grinning.

Holly grinned as Riley answered an earlier question.
"Yes actually," he said, "I am wearing a new suit. And new aftershave. I thought it would be nice....you like?"

"Yes," said Natalie, then she whispered to Riley, "I'll bet Holly like's it too."

"Holly does," Holly said without thinking, "I mean I do. Holly does. Me. Yeah....so.....,"
Riley grinned, "Open Nat's present 'Olly,"
Holly gladly moved subjects.

"There are five actually," said Natalie.

"And one from me," said Chucky absently, looking at the ceiling.

"And me honey," said Tiffany.

Holly grinned bewlidered, and took the packages off Natalie.
"Oooh whats this one?"

((I cant think either.....you pick darlin lol pweeed))

"Open and see," said Natalie, but she knew that package contained a large magical teddy bear that made you happy every time you hugged it.

Holly opened it, puzzled and grinned when she saw the bear. "Makes you happy every time you hug it," she read off the label.
Happiness?
That was the best present one could give.
"Wow Nat...thanks!"
She grinned at her, truly happy for the first time in a long time. Though she was partly hugging the bear.

Chucky gave a weak laugh for no apparent reason.

"Open the rest," Natalie said happily, handing her a package with contained a copy of Hogwarts; a history.

"Is this so as i dont have to keep asking you for stuff?" Holly asked grinning, "Thanks kiddddos. And you two,"

"Anytime," said Natalie, handing her than next package's...the ones from her dolls...they were a skull necklace and ear-rings...which were lucky.

Holly grinned when she saw them. Maybe dolls werent that bad.
"Thanks guys!" she said, almost hugging them but thinking better of it.

"Glad you like your prescent sweetface...but Nat picked them out...were just the givers..." said Tiffany, smiling.

"Yes," said Chucky absently.

"I don't think we should have given him those things..." said Natalie, "he has the personality of a teaspoon at the minute.

Tiffany grinned.

"Oooh...later, I wanna give you a makeover sweetface," she said to Natalie, "I'll do your hair and all...make you look pretty for your date tomorrow."

Natalie went red.

"She's already very pretty," said Hayley, then turned red, "Sorry, dolls...scare me a tad," she added quietly.

"It's ok sweetface...we scare most people," said Tiffany.

"Yeah...but not as much now as in our killin' days," said Chucky, sighing, and then looking at the ceiling once more.

"HOLLY!" Jamie yelled and jumped on her making the both fall over,
"ooppps!" jamie groaned

"Oh, yeah, sure...thanks...I needed that," said Chucky sarcastically.

"Yay...the daze has worn off...Chucky's back," said Natalie thankfully.

"Glad you like my personality that much...at least someone does," said Chucky, glaring at Tiffany.

"Well...you can be scary sometimes...when you're mad," said Tiffany truthfully.

"I know...sorry about that," said Chucky, and he ment it.

'We forgive you," said Natalie and Tiffany together, though Tiffany added a "Sweetface," as usual.

Violet walked in, slightly nerverous. She heard it was Holly's Birthday and decided to be nice. "Umm, hello. I got you a present- Ahhhh!" Violet yelled, seeing the dolls. "The dolls are true! I told you dolls will try to kill you!" Violet yelled and dropped the present she had got Holly and ran out the doll screaming

'Violet....Vi....wait..." she yelled, "they won't kill anyone....there's a spell!"

"I dont like dolls!" Violet yelled from the other side of the door. "They will kill people rather you know it or not!" She yelled, crying.

Chris walked in with a gift, "Happy birthday Holly." He said. "Where should I put the gift?"

Hayley smiled at Chris, "Hey Chris," she said, helping herself to a digestive.

Eliza and Zeke walked in.
"Hey kiddo." Zeke said, and gave her the present. "Joking." He added. Eliza rolld her eyes, and gave Holly her present.

((ah! I havn't been on for ages! I thought it wasn't that long...))

Hayley grinned as Eliza and Zeke entered. "Hey guys!" she said happily.

"So what's up?" Eliza asked Hayley. "Anything exciting happened yet?"

"Well, Jake banged into a drinks table..." Hayley replied, looking over at Jake, who had just knocked into a large table of food.

Eliza laughed.
"Typical of boys."

Jamie got up and dusted himself off...
"sorry about that!" Jamie laughed

Hayley giggled. "There's tea over there, if you're cold," she said to Zeke, pointing to a table of drinks.

Holly grinned at Jamie and jumped on him again.
"We're even," she muttered, but gave him a hug to show she was joking.
She glanced at where Violet had disappeared.
"Its strange shes come," she muttered to Hayley, "But very nice....I wonder what she got me...,"
She looked at Eliza and Zeke.
"Thanks by the way dudes. And nothing much has really happened, but the party is yet to start. Thanks for coming Chris!"
She grinned at him.
"You know everyone here dude? Or shall I introduce?"

"Oooooh...I know Chris!" said Natalie, putting her had up and waving it in the air, much like she did in class.

"Hello everyone." Chris said, "I know most of them, Holly."

"I know you too!" said Hayley loudly, then smiled sheepsihly.

"Yep." Chris said, "Oh, where should I put the gift?"

Hayley pointed to a large armchair that had all the other gifts sitting on it. "Just there," she said smiling.

"Ok, thanks." CHris said. He walked over to the armchair and put down the gift.

Natalie smiled at Chris.

"Have you met Chucky and Tiffany?" Natalie said, pointing to her dolls, who smiled and waved pleasantly and Chris.

"No, I've never met them , but I have heard of them. Hello, Chucky and Tiffany, glad to meet you." CHris said.

"Hey kid...nice to meet ya," said Chucky, looking at bit startled that the boy hadn't jumped back in fright.

"Hello sweetface," said Tiffany, "how are you?"

Hayley pondered what Tiffany had just said, then she said to Tiffany, "Why do you always say sweetface?"

"Yeah, whats up with that?" Holly asked, sipping a slushie, "Oh! Want somethin' to drink Chris?"
