Holly's Fourteenth Birthday

Holly glanced once again in her portable mirror, unconvinced.
"You look fine," Riley said, "Seriously. Can I eat cake now?"
"Not yet doll," Holly said grinning, and examined the landscape, "People will be arriving soon.....THEN you can eat cake,"
She laughed.

"You wee sl- never mind. You can have a slush too babes,"

Hayley looked at Holly dissapointedly. "You've been my best friedn since pre-school, and you still don't know that I do not like slushies?" she shook her hed, then grinned, "Just kidding babe, but no thanks."

Jamie walked over to holly and patted her on the back....
"well done for making it this far!" he laughed for a minute then said "with the two nutters you call friends it would be hard too!" Jamie thought this was a really good joke...

"I would love something to drink." Chris said.

Tiffany who had been waiting for this question most of her life, and it hadn't come until now, so she was taken aback.

"It's what my mother used to call me," explained Tiffany.

"Christ! Enough about your mother already! I kill that b**** twenty years ago and she still won't shut up," said Chucky, hitting himself on the forhead with the palm of him hand.

"I think I've mentioned my mother twice since we've been here...and why do you have to be so contradicting Chucky? Huh? Why?" said Tiffany, looking dangerous.

"Oh...here we go again...just because I didn't compliment you this morning...that's low Tiff..." muttered Chucky.

"Well..." said Tiffany, looking hurt.

"What did I say now?!" said Chucky, exasperated.

"You think I'm self obsessed, don't you?" said Tiffany, looking even more dangerous.

"I never said that!" said Chucky loudly.

"YES YOU DID!" yelled Tiffany.

"NO, I DIDN'T!" yelled Chucky in return.

"CAN YOU TWO SHUT UP! WE'LL RESOLVE THIS LATER, IN A QUIET, REASONABLE MANNER IN THE DORM!" yelled Natalie over both of the.

The dolls remained silent. Then Chucky muttered, "She started it..."

"Not. Another. word." said Natalie in a final sort of way.

Hayley's mouth had turned into a sort of 'O' shape, as she watched the dolls argue, "Sorry," she muttered, as she felt responsible for causing it.

Chris watched the dolls fight and then took a sip of his drink.

Natalie smiled around at everyone apologetically.

Then she looked at Hayley.

"Its not your fault...they do this all the time...but they always make up pretty quickly," Natalie reassured.

And sure enough, Chucky was now giving Tiffany a hug.

Eliza and Zeke both raised an eyebrow.
"They're better, though?"

"Oh yes they are," said Natalie, smiling at the two, who were still hugging.

Chris sat down on a chair and looked around at everyone.

Chris laughed, "My life has gotten a little interesting. My brother finally turned good."

"Wayhey, cool! How?" Natalie asked.

"Because Violet joined the Order and everything and he wants to be good i guess. Him and Violet are kinda going out." Chris said.

"Oh really....so is Violet coming over to our side now...is that why she's been nice to me lately?" Natalie asked.

"I'm guessing." CHris said, "She' had joined are side and so has my brother. And now we are trying to defeat Voldy.""

"Oooh...Voldy is a bad man," said Tiffany.

"Yes, yes he is," said Natalie.

"Worse than me?" Chucky asked.

"Yes," said Natalie.

"Good," said Chucky, "I'm not half bad then."

"So Holly, how have you been?" Chris asked.

Natalie took a seat, grinning

((My teeth hurt...got braces tightened yesterday...and I have to study most of today and tomorrow for exams...boo hoo))

"Ive been good," Holly said shrugging, "how have YOU been Chris?"

"Good." Chris said, "I've been good."

(ohh no! ive missed too much! Lucy ive done two exams already my head still hurts hours on! Geog and RE, i fink i did ver well in GEog but sort of average in RE! and you know i don't do average!)

Jamie sat at the table nursing a wound he got from jumping on holly

Hayley looked at Jamie, frowing, "Awk, poor you," she said, then smiling.

((Awk...poor you...here, do me a favour, will ya. If you can choose you seat in the exam room, will you sit beside me? I don't wanna be stuck next to someone who doesn't apreciate why I'm so panicky lol))

Natalie gave Jamie a quick comfort hug and sat down again.

Holly grinned at him and hugged him too.

Hayley grinned, and then decided, so she wouldn't be the odd one out, hugged Jamie too.

"Hayley got jealous," Natalie said, grinning.

((Pickles...I need to talk to you about the thing you said you would do if something didn't happen within a week.))

"Course she did," Holly said bracingly, "We cant ALL hug a nice lookin guy and Haaaayley not,"
Riley gave them all a look.
"Thanks for my hug," he said sarcastically.
Holly sighed and rolld her eyes, but obediently hugged Riley.

Natalie grinned, but had no-one, so she hugged Chucky.

"Dude....I. Don't. Do. Hugs," said Chucky.

Natalie gave Chucky and evil grin.

"Oh...I know what you're thinkin kid....don't go there," said Chucky warningly, but Natalie had already turned him unside down where the was a little 'try me button on his shoe,' which she pressed.

And then a voice very unlike Chucky's own voice issued from him. It was one of the 'Good Guy' three phrases an un-possessed good guy doll was suppose to say.

"I like the be hugged."

Natalie grinned.

"Ooooh...you went there..." said Chucky, "and just to clarify, I do not like to be hugged by anyone but Tiffany!"

Natalie turned him upside down again.

"Oh crap not again...you're makin' me woozy kid," said Chucky weakly.

Natalie pressed the button again and the 'Good Guy' voice said, "Hi, I'm Chucky, and I'm your friend till the end, Hi-de-ho...hahaha."

"Ew...I hate that voice," said Chucky, "I swear...I would blow that button off me if I could."

"Why don't you just take your shoes off," said Natalie.

"Oh...gee...why didn't I think of that...oh no wait...the goddamn things are glued to my feet!" said Chucky.

"Now sweetface...be nice," said Tiffany, grinning at Natalie.

"You're such a little tease," Tiffany said to her, still grinning.

"Oh yes I am," said Natalie, grinning back.

Hayley laughed at Chucky, then stopped as she decided that was mean, She then hugged Jake, as everyone was hugging eachother. When they broke apart, Jake said, "Dude you smell class!" Hayley grinned, blushed and laughed, then said, "Group hug everyone?"

Natalie and Tiffany, who was dragging Chucky who was yelling, "NO, NO, NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES, NO HUGS!" into the middle of the circle. Natalie picked up Chucky and Tiffany. Then there was the pitter patter of little feet behind her.

"Mum, Dad," said Glen's voice.

Natalie looked down to see Glen.

She picked him up to be detween his parents.

Natalie smiled at Glen. Last night, she had made a little bed in her trunk for the three dolls, but she could have sworn in the middle of the night, she heard Chucky say, "Tiff....how many times....don't hog the covers....Tiff."

Natalie knew it had been hopeless to be trying to wake Tiffany up, because she was a very heavy sleeper, snoring her little head off every night, fast asleep.

"GROUP HUG!" Holly agreed, nad squeezed herself in between Riley and Hayley.

Hayley put her arm around Holly, and Jake, on her other side. "YAY!" she shouted.

"YAY!" Holly shouted it reply, as if this was a secret language she had made up with Hayley when they were little.

Hayley giggled, and thought of her secret language with Holly.

Natalie joined the group hug happily.

"We are cool peoples," Holly said, using her termage. She then began to sing "SOS" by the Jonas Brothers, which she couldnt get out of her head after seeing them live in concert.

((WERE THEY THERE LAST NIGHT?! IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL ME?!))

Natalie hummed the tune, as she didn't know the lyrics.

Holly grinned at her.

Natalie ate some sushi. There was sushi there now. There wasn't sushi there before.

Holly narrowed her eyes but said nothing.

Natalie burst into uncontrollable tears.

Holly began to laugh uncontrolablly, tears streaming down her face.
Riley looked at her in horror.

Natalie continued to cry.

"Ai yiy yiy yiy yiy yiy," said Chucky, slapping himself on the forhead with his palm, "SHUT UP!"

Natalie stopped crying immediately.

"Thank you," said Chucky exasperatedly.

"Good Nattie," Holly said through her laughs.

"It isn't funny...seriously...she cries really loud," said Chucky, picking up a spoon and smiling at his reflection.

"You think alot of yourself...don't you?" said Tiffany.

"What...how do you know I'm not just amused by my upside down reflection?" said Chucky.

"I just know...call it womans intuition," said Tiffany, grinning broadly. She took out a nail-file and started filing her long, black-painted nails.
