10 years later. Shadow and Jamies house.

Jamie ran down the stairs in a hurry, pulling on his sweater.
"hey..." he said to the person sitting on the stool in the kitchen...

"Hello." Shadow said, standing up to hug Jamie.

Jamie wrapped his arms around his fiance (don't have an acute sorry lol)
Her hair smelt of flowers and the past seemed a long way from where he was standing... all that mattered was the future

Shadow gave him a quick kiss on the lips before using her magic to put some breakfast on the table.
"Come on, I promise you won't get food poisoning this time."

Jamie smiled,
"umm... better not, it might be a little of a wedding set back, wouldn't it?" Jamie snorted then took to glaring at the moderatly sized diamond on her finger

Shadow smiled.
"True, very true." She said.

At Shadows words jamie looked up at her,
"what you planning to do today?" he asked her still smiling

"I've got training schedualed with Raven." Shadow replied. "Now that she's the Synari battle mistress, I'd beter not miss it. What about you?"

"ermm.... Just plain work maybe meet up with Helen when she comes out of work, bit of catching up.." Jamie realised that he and his sister had become closer in the years that had past,
"remember the time you first met her, complete air-head. Shes not doing too bad now for a blonde..." jamie snorted

"Yes, I remember the sparks that flew between her and Rae." Shadow said, shuddering.

"Sparks! I have seen smaller bon-fires!" (xD)
Jamie lifted a piece of toast and took a bite,
"um! not bad, your really getting the hang of this!" jamie smiled "Don't be letting that Raven one talk you out of cooking now, shes so jealous that being who she is shes not aloud to go near the cooker incase her £500 insured skin gets burnt..."

Shadow gave a soft, howl-like laugh as some one else thundered down the stairs.
"Saken!" Shadow said, but the fifteen year old had already run out of the door. "Remind me why I agreed to take her on?" She groaned. "I don't think I was that stroppy as a teenager!"

Jamie blinked at the wisp of dark hair that flew past him..
"ermm... because, she was..... humph! i dunno!" jamie shrugged chewing his toast....

Shadow shook her head, sitting down next to Jamie. She took a piece of toast and began to nibble on it, flicking through a huge spell book, trying to memorise a few white-lighter spells.

Violet walked up to the doorsteps, Saken rushing past her. Turning back around, she knocked on the door. "Knock knock." She said, walking in before someone answered.

Shadow looked up to see one of her old friends.
"Violet!"

"What?" Violet said, sitting down. Taking the toast from the plate, she took a bite but then spit it out. "Eww, no butter." She said. "So whats up with yall and where the hello kitty is Saken going?"

"Saken's off to her tutoring, and otherwise not much." Shadow said.

"Ahh." She said. "Cozy looking place here." She said, looking around. "Wheres Raven and Luntic at?"

"Shaeman? No idea. Raven's now the battle listress in my dimesnsion." Shadow said.

"Oh, Well it would be nice to talk to her once....without us wanting to kill each other." Violet said, laying her head down.

"your here early!" jamie exclaimed in suprise

"Well, she's calmed down her temper a lot. She takes it out on the poor new recruits now." Shadow said with a smile.

Violet held her head down, chewing on the toast. "Sure, I know what you are talking about" She mumbled sarcastic

"Seriously, she's stopped trying to be overprotective, and even now. I work with the pegusi herd and she doesn't mind." Shadow said, frowning.

"Violet? ahve you enrolled with ravens group by any chance?" Jamie asked her curious

"No, why?" She asked, throwing the toast down.

"just the way you said, I know what your talking about. You know Raven has really changed, but i guess she could still kick our butts if she wanted to.." Jamie told them

"Kick our butts? In five secinds flat." Shadow said with a small smile.

Violet raised an eyebrow but said nothing. "i'm bored." she said.

"well then, what should we do today? Its saturday for heavens sake!" jamie said to them thinking

Shadow walked over to the stove, where a box sat, squeaking occasionally. She reached down and picked up a small chestnut bundle and grabbed a bottle, feeding a tiny pegasus foal.

Jamiw watched his wife to be,
something you'll be doing for real babies soon! he whispered to her mind

that could be very true Shadow answered as the foal sneezed.

"I dont like the loks on yalls face. I need a girlfriend...or boyfriend. Yall are to lovey dovey." Violet said, eating the rest of the toast.

Jamie stilfed a laugh when the little foal sneezed it seemed typical to happen to Shadow just after what she'd sayed...
"so Violet what you wanna do?"

Shadow smiled, setting the foal don before leaning gently against Jamie.

"What I want to do is go into a new room." she said, grabbing the plate and walking to the couch, walking tv.

"You can stay here for a bit if you want." Shadow offered.

"No thank you. And no grown up stuff. I'm older then you two, so I'm watching!" She yelled.

"mm....." Jamie agreed taking one of the foals and feeding it too, it seemed to be going mad for food..
"anyways, we got loads of rooms that we don't use.." Jamie told Violet

Shadow snorted shaking her head.
"Its still legal for both of us." She pointed out, ducking as the foal she had been feeding glided shaking over her head on wings twice the size of the foal.

"It may be but I'm 26 and your 23 and 24. I win." Violet said, flipping threw the channels.

"Yea!" Jamie said sarcastically nodding
"illegal, we must have broken about 200 laws then in our lifetime... yes that would be right," he laughed

"Tell me about it." Shadow said with a small laugh.

Jamie smiled and ate more toast grabbing the newspaper he flicked the page

"Haha, funny. Not." Violet said and pouted. "i miss Kar, life was exciting with him alive."She mumbled.

"might well have been, but it was more dangerous, and the last time i seen him, he was a pile of ashes, so we CANNOT bring him back! okay?" he told Shadow

"Geeze. I say one thing and it war." Violet huffed, flipping threw the channels again. "Yall's tv sucks!" She said.

"nah, that wasn't a war. i am War i should know!" jamie told Violet just remebering his demon status
