10 years later. Shadow and Jamies house.

Jamie ran down the stairs in a hurry, pulling on his sweater.
"hey..." he said to the person sitting on the stool in the kitchen...

Shadow bit her lip and nodded. She grabbed her cloak, clipping it around her shoulders before walking slwly downstairs. She bowed.
"High Priestess Arias..."

Violet was right beside Shadow. Arias glared for a moment before looking at Shadow. "YOu know why I'm here." She said.

Shadow stiffened.
"I..." She started to say.

"Miss, if I may say something.?" Violet asked. Arais nodded. "Well, her and Jamie have been talking about it. But I have been under them the whole time, so they couldnt really talk. Can she have atleast another day?" Violet asked.

"sheamna whats going on?" he asked him...

"Arias, the ruler of our dimension has come. Looks like she's looking for a desicion. I'll bet she had her soldiers hidden around the house if she doesn't like the answer." Shaeman said.

Arias shook her head.
"We don't allow it. Shadow, pack your things."

Violet nodded. "Come on Shadow." Violet said. Violet thought of something. 'Shaeman, you and Jamie meet me in their room.' She thought to Shaeman.

Shadow shot a worried glance at Violet, but walked upstairs.

Violet walked into Shadow's room. "Look, this is your last chance. The curse it only takes a few seconds. AS you leave, fall down the stairs or something, to make it seem like you lost them." Violet whispered. "Please Shadow, I know what it's like not having your children." Violet said. "And it's worse when they think your stupid and pathetic." She told her. 'Shaeman!'Violet yelled in her head,

Shaeman sprinted up the stairs at VIolet's call, dragging Jamie behind him.

Shadow was trembling, hesitating.

"Shadow, I swear, I wont let anything happen." She said, huggin her. "I dont want you to go threw what I did." Violet said, starting to cry.

"I can't do it." Shadow said, her arms over her stomach, eyes full of fear.

"So you want them to be forced from you?" Violet asked. "If anything would happen, the spell wouldnt even be used." Violet said.

"I just can't!" Shadow sobbed.

Violet nodded. "Go ahead and pack then." She said, walking over to Shaeman. "She is going to be hurt if they are foced." She said, crying hard. Violet just closed her eyes.

Shaeman hugged Violet gently, unsure of what to say as Shadow put a few books and clothes in a bag.

'What if I just do the spell while she is turned around?' Violet asked Shaeman. 'I know it would be the wrong thing, but she's my best friend and I cant let them do that to her.' Violet hugged him back, crying into his shoulder.

"I don't know. You have to do what you think is right." Shaelan said.

Violet looked over at Shadow and silent;y pulled her wand out. Thinking hard, pionting her wand at Shadow's back, and shouted. "Saphilite!" She yelled. Violet saw the filimar yellow light zoom from Shadow to her. Shaking about what she had just done, she fell to her knees crying. "I'm sorry. I couldnt let you do it!" Violet said, covering her face.

Shadow had fallen to her knees, and she looked round at Violet. She gave a loud sob before running out of the room. She tripped, falling down the stairs before she scrambled back to her feet and ran outside. Hurridly untying the knot, she mounted Merlas and launched into the air. Arias had run after her, and seeing the pegasus take off, she barked out commands. Several hidden pegasi knights took flight, taking flight after the lone rider.

Violet covered her mouth, shaking. "What have I done?" She asked. Violet started crying harder. "Jamie is going to kill me." She said, that making her shake harder.

Shaeman hugged Violet even more tightly as he watched out of the window.

Merlas folded her wings in and began to spin as a volley of arrows was released, Shadow leaning low over her neck.

Arias thundered back inside and up the stairs. She glared at the two.

"I'm sorry." She said, hugging Shaeman and crying, She heard someone coming up the stairs. "Please, dont say anything." Violet whispered. She looked at the door as Arais appeared glaring.

"Where is Shadow going?" Arias asked threateningly.

"I...I dont know." Violet whispered, looking down. "We got into it and I told her that maybe it was a good idea for her to have her children taken from her. She just ran out. I felt bad for saying it, but she said something that made me mad and I snapped. Shaeman was trying to calm her down, but I didnt work." Violet said, cying.

A man dressed in black robes walked in, and sniffed the air.
"There is residue of human magic." He said. Arias smiled.
"Thank you Armen. Would you like to tell me where the children are now?" She asked sweetly.

"Dead most likely. She did fall." Violet said. "I can explain the magic to. See that big burn mark behind you." She said, poiting to a random black spot. "Thats where I tried to shot her." While they walked over there, she grabbed Shaemans hand. Turning on the spot, she disappareted to Aylssa. "Hurry, get her I'm going to my house." She said and dispaarated again.

Shaeman nodded quickly and morphed into a pegasus, grabbing the rope attatched to Alyssa's foal halter before launching himself into the air, heading off to VIolet's.

Phoenix knocked on the door waiting nervously, she thought about all the times at hogwarts with her friends. She hadn't seen any of them since Hogwarts.

Holly waited anxiously with Phoenix, the only friend she had remained in contact with over the years.
"Maybe they aint home," she said shrugging, and shivering in her thin robe.

A small grey pegasus flew shakily round the house and landed in front of the pair. It put its head on one side, looking at thzem questioningly.

Holly stepped backwards automatically, not putting it past Shadow not to have some form of high security outside her home.
"Reckon it talks?" Holly asked Phoenix stupidly.

The pegasus barely came up to the girls' knees.
Who are you? It asked through minds.

Holly was taken back, but said uncertainly, "Um. Holly Bristol.....Phoenix Rosenburg.....friends of Shadow and Jamie.....,"
She wasnt sure if the creature could hear her, so she then sent the message through via her brain.

The foal nodded.
They're not here right now. They ran away.

"Ran away?" Holly repeated, non concerned with keeping her voice down anymore, "What? Why? Is somethin' wrong? Tell me foal!"

The little foal flared its wings in annoyance at the memory.
Shadow's pregnant, but the senate of Synairn don't want any more demons around. They came to take her away so they ran.

Holly gasped.
"Preggers? Thats great and- Oh, no thats not great. Well, where did they run? Or CAN you tell me at all?"

The foal thought for a few seconds.
I don't but I know who does! The foal turned its head and whinnied, listening to the reply. They should be at Violet's house.

Holly nodded.
"At Violet's house....um....,"
Holly glanced at Phoenix.
"I dunno if we're welcome there," she said nervously, waiting for Phoenix's reply.

Phoenix nodded "Let just go" she said

"You're sure?" Holly confirmed, "Alrighty. But I'm freezin! Being twenty four and all I think i'll magically summon a coat!"
She did so.
