Rose's 17th -Time to Party

Rose walked into the dorm, frowning. Streamers everywhere, the whole place littered with decorations. Rose looked around to see if anyone was there. "Hello? Did you do this, Skie? I told you not too...." Rose sat her books down on the bed and noticed a small piece of paper. She picked it up and read it.

"For those wonderus friends of Rosalie Vain, come join the Birthday fun at her dorm tonight."

Natalie Patterson entered, holding a gift for Rose. She also carried her own three doll guardians as it was time to meet her new friend.

"Hey," she said happily, "happy birthday kiddo."

Violet walked down the hall. She didnt know Rose much, but decided to drop by anyway. She held a box in her hand and knocked on the door. "Hello?" She aske.d

Rose turned to see Natalie coming in. "Oh gosh. You didn't have to bring a present. I didn't even know a thing about this..."

There was a knock on the door, and Rose shouted, "Come in!"

Violet walked in and smiled. "You may not kow me, but we play quddicth together." Violet said.

Natalie looked at Rose.

"Um...I mentioned about...Tiffany...my friend...well, she's actually my dolls guardian...as is Chucky...and Glen/Glenda," said NAtalie, "say hi guys."

"Hey sweetface," said Tiffany, smiling at her.

"Hi," said Glen nervously.

"Hi....is there gonna be cake?" Chucky said.

"Oh my God," Violet said, backing up.

Rose blinked, then nodded. "Yes yes, I remember you. Um, welcome to the party, I guess..."

Rose jumped as Natalie spoke again. "Dolls? Oh, thats nice....hello you three."

"And your cat!" Violet said, remebering. She watched the dolls, shivering a bit.

"Is that the kid with the knife?" Chucky whispered to Natalie.

"Yes...that's Violet," said Chucky.

"Do you think she'd let me borrow her knife?" Chucky asked.

"No," said NAtalie, "she's kinda scared of dolls...that's like one of her only fears."

"Oh," said Chucky, disappointed.

"Cat?" Rose looked at Violet, then gasped. "Oh, right!"

She turned again as the dolls spoke. "Umm, please don't kill anyone..."

Violet nodded, keeping an eye on the dolls. "You three stay there. Mostly you...er..transgender confused person." Violet said nicely.

Rose sat down on her bed, not really sure what to do.

"We can't," said Chucky through gritted teeth, "there is a spell thingy to stop us."

"Yes..I had to preform a charm to stop them killing when I got them," said NAtalie, smiling sheepishly.

Tiffany looked at Violet and smiled.

"Oh...she's....he's not confused...he just is two in one..." she explained.

"Ummm, ok...." Rose still had never seen a talking doll before, and was kind of freaked out, but she kept her cool.

"Thats confused." Violet hissed. "I like the red head one. He's cool." Violet said, trying not to scream.

Rose smiled.

"Ok...just to clarify...they are..sort of humans who got transfared into dolls body's," said Natalie, "I know it must be confusing for you...don't worry about it though."

"Why thank you....cool is my middle name...well, technically it isn't, but you know..." said Chucky, grinning.

"No I dont know." Violet said.

"Oh, well, that makes since, kinda", Rose said.

"Oh...and I'm not red head...I'm ginger...ginger...get it right," said Chucky.

"Quiet Chucky....so...how are you?" Tiffany asked Violet kindly.

Rose raized an eyebrow, noticing that no Hufflepuffs had arrived yet.

Violet screamed as the blonde talked to her. "Ok, I cant stand ity." She said, grabbing her head.

Tiffany kept her mouth shut, as did Chucky. Glen hid behind his mother.

"Calm down", Rose sad to Violet. "hey Nat, can you tell your friends to not scare the heck out of Vi please?"

"Just looking at them does it to me. bad memories." Violet said, remebering when she was five.

"Ok then," said Natalie, "Listen guys...try not to talk to Violet...or look at her....or do anything to her....just stay in barbie mode, ok?"

"Ok," said Chucky, and the three went inside a trunk and froze, hiding.

"i know they are here." Violet said, shaking.

Rose laughed a little. "if it makes you feel better, I'm mortified of those muggle clowns."

"No it doesnt!" Violet said. "I'm scared of those to." She said, shaking. "Snape decided to have one for my 2nd birthday to scare me." Violet said.

"Professor Snape? He wouldn't do that....would he?"

"He would if he was your godfather and he hated you." Violet said.

"Oh, Snape doesn't hate anyone!"

"Bull. He kicked me out...when I was three!" Violet said. "Well I ran away, but the poilice thingys made me go back." She siad.

Rose blinked, confused. "Professor....."

"My father, Voldemort. My mother, Lily." She said, shaking.

Rose leaped back. "No!"

"What?" Violet asked, confused.

"Your dad's Voldemort? I had no idea!"

"Well my last name is Riddle." Violet said.

"I didn't know that ether." Rose sat down beside Violet. "Is it...hard?"

"yes." Violet said, sighing

"I'm sorry..." Rose looked down at her feet.

"its ok. I lived." She said.

Rose but on a good face. "I guess so, since your here at my party." She stood up and read the invite again. "I wonder who set this up..."

"I dont know. Everyone on the quddicth team got one." She said.

Rose walked over to the door. "You two stay here, I'll be right back, I'm going right next door to talk to Skie."

Violet nodded, keeping an eye on the trunk.

Skie rushed into the room panting like a dog as she pushed open the door and fell onto the ground. "Rose... So sorry... Late... I..." Skie fought to catch her breath as she stood up. "I'm so sorry!" Skie said, balling like a baby when she finally regained control over her vocal chords.

Rose almost toppled backwards. "You, but, I, can....hey, Skie, do you know who threw this party for me?"
