Rose's 17th -Time to Party

Rose walked into the dorm, frowning. Streamers everywhere, the whole place littered with decorations. Rose looked around to see if anyone was there. "Hello? Did you do this, Skie? I told you not too...." Rose sat her books down on the bed and noticed a small piece of paper. She picked it up and read it.

"For those wonderus friends of Rosalie Vain, come join the Birthday fun at her dorm tonight."

Rose nodded. "Uh, sure, ok. Whatever you say."

Natalie screamed her petrifying scream, and the monster was still.
"That should hold for about an hour," she informed the others.

Rose sank to her knees. "What...did...you...do?"

"Exactly," Holly repeated faintly, "What the hecko did you do child?"
She swallowed several times.
"And what IS that?"

"It is a mixed breed...when a Giant Griffon breeds with a hippogriff, this is what you get," said Natalie, frowning, "and that's just something vampires can do...the screaming thing."

"Weird and oh respectively," Holly said smiling, "Well I for one am glad it is over there. Im sorry it put a big suckish thing in the middle of your birthday Rose dude."

"Me too...though it really wasn't our fault it came," said Natalie.
She sighed then smiled.

Rose blinked, her mouth still open. "Ahhhh....no, that's ok...."

Holly leaned over and gently tilted Rose's mouth back up.
"There you go," she said smiling.

Rose looked at Holly blankly. "Thanks....so, what's the um, plan?"

"Havent a clue," Holly said, "But I am the plan maker, so here it is. When it wakes again me and Rose will go and run, leaving you Nat and you Matt, to kill it. Okay?"

"Rightio," said Natalie, "but we aren't going to kill it..."
Natalie had a different plan.

Rose tilted her head. "What would that be? Is there a way to not kill it?"

"I was kidding Nat," Holly said, "Course I wouldnt leave you two, you might end up kissing or something!"
She shuddered.
"What was your plan?"

Natalie actually screamed.
"EW! HE BIT ME, IF YOU RECALL HOLLY!" Natalie yelled.

Rose jumped as Natalie screamed. "Ack! Don't give me a heart attack!" Rose crossed her arms and pouted. "I am a very delicate person..."

"Oh yeah thats right," Holly said grinning in an evil fashion, "And Rosie is delicate so DONT do that ya hear?"

Rose stuck her tongue out at Holly. "Okay, seriously, not funny..."

Holly stuck her tongue out similarly and then grinned.
"Joke joke chicky," she said nudging her playfully on the shoulder, "So ANYWAY what exactly have you got for this fine birthday of yours?"

"Oh" Rose said. Grinning, she pointed to her mouth. "My parties been totally rockin! And I just love drop in guests like our flying friend out there!". Rose tried to make the last sentince sarcastic, but her accent didn't pick it up so well.

Holly stared at her. The Natalie in her brain, which was the angel and smart part, said "I think that was sarcasm" the Holly in her breain, who was the devil and the stupidity said, "Im hungry..."
The real Holly nodded and grinned.
"Aye. Awesome..."

Rose rolled her eyes. "So like, are we gonna tell anyone about the thing out there?"

Holly grinned.
"Maybe, maybe not."
She shrugged. "I dunno we might well. OI! PEOPLE IN THE PROVENCE! THERES A CREATURE YOU SHOULDNT GO NEAR IN THE GREAT HALL!"
A few of the onlookers heard "there's free pie in the great hall" so they all zoomed towards it.
"Oh dear," Holly said biting her lip, "I think I broke a nail."

Rose rolled her eyes again. "Very funny."
She laughed as the onlookers backed away from Holly.
She didn't lame them. She'd be scared too.
"Oh, I hate it when that happens!" Rose cradled her own hands.
"I love's me nails, they take so long to grow out...."

Holly grinned.
"Me too...." (In reality i have like 1cm long nails lol)
George nodded. "Me too."
Holly stared at the monkey. Then at his nails. "You what?" she asked.
"Nothing," George said biting his monkey lip and looking away.

Rose smiled, then as she herd the other voice she jumped.
"Whoa! What was that!?" Rose looked around franticly. Was there someone else that came to her party?
Rose was a little freaked. "Um Holly? Who are you taking too?"
She glanced at her nails and then back at Holly, wondering if she was going crazy. She laughed to herself. Rose was way past crazy.

Holly laughed to herself. Rose thought she was GOING crazy. Ha, she was way past crazy.
"You and George havent met?" she asked after the laughing fit passed, "Whoops."
George looked embarassed having not introduced himself before, and held out a monkey fist for Rose to shake.
"George Bristol," he said smiling, "Im a monkey....but you got that. Holly's monkey...cant believe we havent met before Im so sorry!"
He grinned as did Holly.

Rose's face grew blank as she looked at the monkey. He had his hand held out towards her.
"Ah....." Rose shook her head, then carefully shook his hand. "Hi, George. I'm Rose, but I guess you got that by now."
A happy look flashed threw Rose's eyes and she put her hands together excitedly. "Wow! A talking monkey! I'm sorry, but this is just so cool! I mean, that you talk and are somewhat intelligent...." Blushing, she corrected. "I mean, I'm sure your really smart..."

Holly snorted lightly. This was often people's reaction.
"Nice to meet you Rose." George said politely, scowling at Holly.

Hayley grinned as she spotted Holly. "Hey you," she said. "Rose! Happy Birthday," she said, smiling.

Holly nodded in Hayley's direction.
"Allo." she said, "Whaddya get Rose? CAN I SEE?"

*Breathes in...first post on RP for a very long time*

Natalie grinned.
"Well Hayley....how's things?" she asked, grinning.

Jamie looked at Natalie, he'd been day dreaming for a LONG time.

"Would you stop STARING at me?" Holly requested, "GAWD JAMES, YOU ARE LIKE, WITH SHADOW!"

"I only look at you when im not with her!" he winked at her and laughed

Hayley laughed. "A jacket," she said, handing a bag to Rose. "Happy birthday," she said again. "You guys," she said, turning to her friends, "Are nuts."

"we know.." Jamie smiled at her
"How are you these days?"

"We know." Holly said nodding, "Thanks for pointing it out."
She laughed.
"She's been good." Holly then answered rudely on Hayley's behalf, considering Hayley would probably phase out soon...

*hey guys haven't talked with you in forever! But I think it was very wrong what you did to get the line rule taken out -shakes head-*

Rose smiled at Hayley as she handed her the bag. "Aw thanks so much!" She blushed and took the jacket out, putting it on. "Haha, look in it Holly." She handed the other present to her. She stood up and went over to crank the tunes back up.

"No problemo," Hayley said, grinnging at Rose. "I've been good Jamie," she aded, "You?" she truned to Holly, "I can speak y'know,"

Rose grabbed herself another peice of cake. The food seemed to be going fast. She raised the bottle of pumpkin juice. "Anyone? We can always get more, so dig in!"

Rose was happy that people where enjoying her surprize party. She blushed, remembering that these where her friends. Her first real friends that liked her for her. She laughed and shouted out "THANKS FOR COMMING GUYS!". The akward silence made her sit back down, embarassed. "I mean um, yeah.....thanks...."

Rose turned her back to them, her face flushed red, and ate her cake.

"We're right here." Holly said, trying to be helpful. She waved a hand in front of Rose's face. "Hallo Moto."
Then she grinned.
"No problemo. We really do like you child."

Rose smiled like a seven year old. "Hehe, yay me."

"Aww man you got the 'Seven-Year-Old' smile perfected! I'm so jealous!" Holly said seriously, and pouted, "I can't do tha'!

Rose stuck her toungue out playfully. "I've learned to master it back over in Japan. It comes in handy when your dad has lots of money and you want something."

Hay;ey laughed. "It would, I'm sure," she said, picking up a glass of water.
