Weekend Wanderings

Clafin woke up and looked out the window.
It was a bright sunny day.
Exactly the kind of day she needed.
She quickly got dressed and rushed out of the Gryffindor Common Room.
Once outside she found her way to the her favorite tree,
and started soaking in the sunlight.

"Ok Ms. Sarcastic." He said to her, kissing her softly.

She giggled and reached up to kiss him back.

Luke smiled into the kiss, pulling back and laying his head against hers.

How did you get this lucky? she asked herself

Luke moved back adn sat beside her on the pool, leaving his feet in the water.

She looked over at him. ""I'm really excited." she confessed.

Luke raised his eyebrows. "For what?" he asked her.

"To see you change" she said as her cheeks filled with color. She bit her lip and looked up at him nervously through the hair hanging in her face.

Luke smiled at her, letting his hand go to hers. "Dont worry...you will still come. It's kinda of fun actually....I may beg for a belly rub though." He told her.

Clafin giggled as she layed her head down on his lap and playfully flicked his stomach.

"Why do you keep doing that?" He asked her, playing with her hair again.

"Well, I guess its just a habit. Sirius and I used to do it all the time and...I guess I just dont want to let it go because its from him." she said as she looked at her reflection in the pool.

"Ah...." Luke said softly, laying his hand by her stomach. "So no more swiming?" he asked her.

"Not unless you know any spells to get rid of all of that." she said as she nodded towards her leg.

"Sorry, love...Violet does the healing." he told her, making the room turn into soft pillow instead.

"Yea I know" she said through a smile.

He laid back on the pillows, sighing softly.

After looking at him for a moment. "Whats wrong?" she asked nevously.

"Nothing...just tired a bit." he told her, smiling. "You dont nothing wrong." He told her.

"Oh." she said as she laid down next to him, placing her hand on his chest.

Luke wrapped his arm around her waist, leaning over and kissing the top of her head.

"I think you need a nickname." Clafin said softly. She yawned and put her face closer to his, looking into his eyes.

Luke smiled at her, turning his head to look at her. "And what may that be?" he asked her, kissing her nose softly.

She thought for a moment. "Hmmm. What about puppy?" she said with a short and weak laugh.

Luke laughed, nodding. "Ok, only you cna call me puppy." He told her.

She looked up at him and grinned. "Okay!" she said excited as she pulled herself in closer towards him.

Luke smiled, wrapping his arm around her even more. "Well, if you get to call me puppy...what to call you?" He asked her.

"Thats up to you." she whispered tiredly. She nuzzled her face into the warmth of his chest.

"Hm....I may think of something." he told her, turning on his side to hold her against him.

She smiled at hi.m but said nothing

"Sleep, beautiful..." Luke told her softly, kissing her forehead.

Clafin awoke dazed and somewhat confused. She sat up and looked around her. "Where am I?" she whispered to herself?

Luke turned his head towards her, eyebrow raised.

As it dawned on her, she turned and kissed Luke softly.

Luke was a bit shocked but kissed her back.

She looked down out her leg. The bruises were beginning to turn a soft yellow on the edges. "Hmmm. Didnt Fred and George make a bruise cream or something?" she asked Luke hopefully.

"Um...I think they did...not sure..." he said, sitting up with her in his lap.

"Hmm. Oh, well." she said looking up smiling.

Luke smiled down at her before kissing her forehead.

She giggled to herself and looked down at a pillow. She started to play with the edge of it.

"Whts on your mind?" He asked her softly.

"Honestly, I was thinking about whether or not a Snidget would make a good pet." she said.

Luke laughed softly. "A what?" he asked her.

"A snidget is what they originally used as a snitch. Its a small golden bird thats uber fast" she said.

"Oh..." Luke said, nodding once.

"Sorry." she said quickly

"For what?" He asked her.

"Er... nothing" she said embarrassed.

Luke smiled at her before standing up, picking her up with him also.

"Where are we going now?" she asked
