Weekend Wanderings

Clafin woke up and looked out the window.
It was a bright sunny day.
Exactly the kind of day she needed.
She quickly got dressed and rushed out of the Gryffindor Common Room.
Once outside she found her way to the her favorite tree,
and started soaking in the sunlight.

Luke listne to her hum, but said nothing as he listened to her.

"Luke?" she asked softly as she glanced towards his face. "What are you thinking about?"

"Rather or not I should kiss you or run away." he mumbled to her.

At first Clafin wanted to giggle, but then she realized he was being serious. She sat up and looked at him. "Why would you run away?"

"Werewolves get very...jealous and....over protective when they like someone....and we are a year apart...I would want to rip everyones head off..." he told her.

I knew it was just too good to be true..she thought to herself. She tried to speak but no words would come out. She sat there staring at him like a fish gasping for water.

"Clafin?" He asked her softly. When she didnt respond, he leaned forward, kissing her softly.

As he leaned in to kiss her, Clafin wanted to push him away. Wanted to tell him how unfair he'd been, but she couldnt find it in herself.

Luke sighed, moving back. "I...will just go." he mumbled, jumping the tree.

"No! Please don't leave!" She frantically called after him.

Luke looked down at her before dropping back down.

Clafin looked at him crossly as she stepped forward. "Dont you ever scare me like that again" she said before grabbing him and fiercely kissing him.

LUke was confsued for a few seconds but wrapped his arms around her, kissing her back.

Clafin slowly drew back and smiled at Luke.

"You confuse me, beautiful..." Luke said, looking down at her.

Clafin giggled to herself quietly then replied "I always look confused."

"Yes...you do." he told her, grabbing ehr chin lightly again.

She smiled but said nothing.

Luke looked down at her before sitting back down on the grass, looking up at her.

"So..." Clafin said awkwardly.

"Sit..." Luke told her, grabbing her hand.

"Er, um. Well, alright?" she said as she sat beside him

LUke raised an eyebrow at her before leaning back on the tree.

"Was this really even your tree, because really Ive sat out here almost everyday since I came here and I've never seen you sitting here." she blurted out her question unsure if she should and then looked at him.

"Yes this is my tree." he told her, looking up at her.

She stood, pulled out her wand and circled around the tree looking at it. "Really? I dont see your name on it." seh said through a smirk as she flicked her wand. Her name appeared on the tree in her neat cursive hand writing.

"Think about me being a werewolf and I think you may catch the drift." He told her, smirking slightly.

"Oh.." she said slightly embarrassed. She felt the color in her cheeks rising. She looked away towards the lake and stuffed her wand back into her robes.

Luke laughed softly shaking his head. "I was kidding." he told her.

Clafin wasnt quite sure what to say. She nodded and started walking back towards the castle.

"Hey, wait!" He shouted, standing up to follow her.

She truned around and her hair whipped her face. She stood waiting.

"You cant just kiss me and walk off. That isnt right." he told her, confused.

Clafin giggled "Payback?" she offered. "I'm not just leaving with out you though," she said as she grabbed his hand.

LUke smiled at her, holding her hand softly in his.

"Where would you like to go?" clafin asked

"Umm....well....the kitchen sounds nice." he told her.

"The Kitchen?" she asked in extreme interest.

"Yeah...I happen to be kind of hungry." he told her/

"Well, alright" she said still curious. As they arrived in the kitchen, Clafin nearly tripped over herself.

Luke laughed softly, grabbing her arm to help her up.

Clafin was completely embarrassed, but she laughed to cover it up. "Thanks" she said as she grabbed Lukes hand.

Luke smiled at her but said nothing.

Clafin looked around her. She'd never really been down to the Kitchen. There were tons of pots and pans hanging all above them. To her left, there was a small table with four chairs around it. Each chair was different. Clafin walked over and sat down in a large comfy looking crimson chair.

"Anything you want to eat?" He asked her as a house elf followed him.

Clafin thought for a second. Not wanting to seem like a pig she replied "A salad maybe?.

Luke rolled his eyes. "Is that all girls eat? really?" He asked, asking for something other then rabbit food.

"Well how about spaghetti? OH! Or maybe some choclate cake! Thats my favorite thing in the whole world! The first time I had it, I was three. It was my cousin's birthday part. My father didnt usually allow me to have sugar at all and then he let me, so i ate the whole thing pretty much." she cut herself off. Greaaaaat Clafin, now hes really gonna like you she thought to her self sarcastically.

Luke laughed softly, nodding. "Finally...someone who doesnt eat rabiit food." He told her, smiling.

Confused at his response and why he didnt say she was a total pig Clafin just nodded.
