Weekend Wanderings

Clafin woke up and looked out the window.
It was a bright sunny day.
Exactly the kind of day she needed.
She quickly got dressed and rushed out of the Gryffindor Common Room.
Once outside she found her way to the her favorite tree,
and started soaking in the sunlight.

"I have no idea...." He told her.

"Okay. Sounds good to me." she said softly

"You ok?" he asked her, setting her down on the ground.

"Mhm. Why wouldnt I be?" she asked.

"Just wondering." he said, kissing her forehead again.

She giggled as he leaned down to kiss her forehead. "You must really like that forehead of mine." she said playfully

"Yes...I do...thinking about stamping my name there." he joked.

"Hmm, would that hurt?" she said through as she pretended to consider it.

"Naw...it would only hurt the people who decide to hurt you...cause then...they may never sleep." he told her, smiling.

"How so?" she asked.

"I would beat them. Simple." He said, shruggimg.

She giggled and reached up to kiss him.

Luke smiled, kissing her back.

Clafin pulled herself back and started walking down the hallway, after she grabbed Lukes hand.

Luke smiled and followed her, squeezing her hand softly.

"Hmmm."

"Where we going?" he asked ehr.

"I dunno" she said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Luke laughed softly, nodding. "Ok, love." he said.

She stopped and looked up at him for a moment. Then turned and walked out the castle doors and out to the lake. Stopping every once in a while to wait for Luke.

Luke followed her, not asking any question as he did so.

She turned around and looked up at him as she walked along the edge of the waters. "So.." she started softly. She quickly tried to think of something to say, but let her words flow through the breeze when she couldnt think of anything to say.

"So.." Luke said, moving to stand behind her. He wrapped his arms around her ocne again, sighing softly.

Clafin awkwardly turned herself around in his arms. "Thank you." she said softly as she leaned up and kissed him.

Luke didnt say anything when she turned around. When she kissed him, he kissed her back, only to pull away and lay his head against hers.

"Are you alright?" she asked worried.

Luke nodded, kissing the tip of her nose softly. "I'm fine love." he told her.

"Hmmm Love" she smiled to herself. She waited a moment before changing the topic. "Do you like Arithmancy?" she asked quickly, almost wishing she hadnt at all. Her cheeks started to burn from embarrassment.

Luke smiled at her, running his fingers softly over her cheek. "Not really...but you can talk about it." he told her softly.

"Hmm. Well I wouldnt want to bore you." she said quietly.

"You wont, love." he told her, moving to kiss her cheek.

Clafin raised an eyebrow at him but said nothing as she tried to read his face.

"If you want to talk about...go ahead." he told her.

"Hmmm no, Ill pass on the boring stuff. Wanna tell me about you?" she asked quickly

"But you already know me." He told her, smiling.

"Yea..but I still want to know more" she said as her face lit up slightly.

"Hm...lets see..." Luke said, sitting down and pulling her into his lap. "Well..I'm 17, a Slytherin...my sister is crazy...my parents dont care for me....and before I met you...I didnt really have a purpose in life." He said, shrugging. "Dont know what else to say." He said.

She smiled up at him "Well then, it certainly is a good thing you met me." she said playfully.

"Yes...a very good thing." He told her.

She giggled to herself and looked up. "Aww puppy"

LUke laughed softly, shaking his head. "I think I'm going to have to keep good eyes on you." her told her,.

"What do you mean?" she asked innocently.

"You seem like the one who would cause trouble.." He told her, smiling. "And if you get into trouble...and I'm not there....who is going to help you?" He asked her

Clafin thought for a moment. "Tom or Veronica.." she started but cut herself off. "No, they'd be to busy snogging to even notice the trouble." she said through a giggle. "Well..Im not sure" she admitted.

Luke just raised an eyebrow. "You confused me." He said. "But it's ok." He told her.

"Me, confusing? Who would've thought?" she said softly.

"I dont mean that in a bad way, love." he told her, laying his head on her shoulder.

"Oh, I know that." she said. She pulled away from him but let her hand slide into his.

Luke smiled, squeezing her hand softly. "Do you want to go get the leg of yours checked?" He asked her.

"Sure" she said. "I suppose Ill have to do it sooner or later."
