Oddie walked into her classroom and looked around only to see that it was empty. Well duh, she thought to herself. None of her students would come to class too early she was sure of that. They were all probably gathered out in the halls talking to each other and wouldn't head to class until the last few minutes before the bell rang for the start of class. Oddie was expecting to see her son be the last one to ealk into the classroom. He was always late and now that he was a vampire she was sure he would wait until the last few seconds and run to class with his super human speed. Oddie chuckeled to herself as she thought about her son racing down the halls.

Oddie walked over to her desk and placed a few papers in one of the drawers in her desk. She would attent to them later but for now she had to get ready for a class she was about to have. Oddie looked beside her desk and saw that the elves had brought her what she had asked for. It was a boix with some freash meat in it. Without it she would not get the threstals to appear and to show to her class, well to the few who could see them. Oddie was going to have to ask a few of her students to carry the bos down to the grounds where she planned on having her class. She could just carry it herself but maybe if some of the student volentered she would give them bonus points or something.

"Oh there can't be too many dangerous things in the forest here" Mathew remarked. "I mean after all many students came into the forest before and came back out just fine. Just remember everything we learned in Care of Magical Creatures and we will be fine." he joked. He never paid attention in that class and the only thing he knew about magical creatures was what he wrote in his essays they had to hand in for class. He was confident that there was nothing in the forest that he and Alice couldn't handle. After all other students have wondered through the forest countless times and made it back out without a scratch. Alice and Mathew had an advantage though, they were vampires.

Mathew felt Alice squeeze his hand and he drew her closer to his side. "Don't worry Alice, just look right ahead in that clearing there. It's a group of unicorns, they're nothing to fear." he said as he advanced towards the heard but stayed away so as not to scare them. There were about four unicorns right in front of them, two were much bigger than the rest, one was smaller and the last was still a baby. They looked so peaceful standing there grazing in what little grass was laying on the ground.

Alice couldn't help but smile at him.
"It's not the creatures I am scared of." she stated with a crooked smirk it was true creatures were no big deal powerful wizards thirsty for power was a different story completely.
"Ok so don't shoot me but do you have ideas for OUR wedding?" she asked biting her lip she hated bringing this stuff up it feels like she is ruining the mood. She watched the unicorns.
"What would you do if you were a unicorn?" Alice asked giggling slightly at this idea it was a weird question to ask but no matter what she didn't like a slow conversation and the question would spark an interesting conversation between the two of them.

Mathew stood there thinking about the two questions that Alice had asked him. He was uncertain how he wanted his wedding to go. First he needed to know if Alice wanted a big wedding or just a small one. Mathew also needed to know if Alice wanted a traditional wedding or something different. There were just so many opitions that Mathew would eventually have to address.

"I don't know. I guess it depends on a few things. Would you like a big wedding or a small one? Would you like it to be a traditional one or something different?" he asked her. There was just so many questions that went into getting married

Than Mathew started to think about the second question. What would be do if he was a unicorn. He really didn't know what unicorns did anyways. He looked at the group in front of them and saw them huddled together eating some food. "I dunno what I would do. Maybe eat some food. Be by my girl friend all the time. Not much of a change from what I'm doing now." he laughed. "What about you? What would you do if you were a unicorn?"

"Oh if I was a unicorn I would flaunt it go up to people walk by going oh ya you know I’m pretty. It would be funny to hear stories there is this one unicorn that goes up and rubs it in people’s faces." she explained moving closer to Mathew.

"Mathew I don't want to hear you agreeing with what I want what do you want what are your opinion on it all?" Alice asked he always did this with everything it made her wonder if he had an opinion because he always just said whatever made her happy.

She had ideas traditional small but it was doubtful that she would be able to get around the legal part of it all to be able to get married in the first place.

I should tell him let him know the complications with everything but I can't break his heart how could I manage that when I could barely manage to tell Jona. She thought thinking through everything she kept a forced smile on her face as if to keep it all from him.

Mathew chuckled at Alice answer. He could see Alice as a unicorn showing off and rubbing in others faces of how pretty she was but Mathew thought she was already beautiful. How could she possibly be anymore pretty as a unicorn.

"Umm.." Mathew said thinking. "Well when it comes to inviting people to our wedding I really don't have many to invite. Just probably really close family and a few friends. I could see me only iniviting like five friends." he joked. "So I would love to have a small wedding. A small wedding but still it would have to be big, in its small little way." he added with a beaming smile.

"Also I think I would prefer a traditional wedding. I know how traditional weddings go so it would be less confusing for me" he chuckled a little. "What do you think?" Mathew asked her

"I think that would be wonderful." Alice stated biting her tongue so that she wouldn't spill something.
"Um can we sit down I need to tell you something." she said plopping down on the floor.
"Well you remember when I went to tell Jona that were getting married?" she asked taking a deep breath.

"Well there was an unexpected visitor and well it didn't end very well." Alice couldn't say anymore at the moment she could feel a sharp pain in her chest stabbing her in the heart. She bit her lip again trying to figure out how she was going to say all of this without Mathew getting defensive or without her wanting to cry. Alice looked down at the grass unable to speak.

What are you doing if you just kept your mouth shut and found ways around it then he would never know and then you wouldn't have to go through this? she told herself having a habit of talking to herself in her head.

But if we are going to be married we should be honest starting now he needs to know this is important and if I kept this I could never live with myself. Alice thought back taking another unneeded deep breath.

Confusion covered Mathew's face when Alice said there was something she needed to tell him. She seemed to be a bit nervous about what she was about to say but Mathew waited patiently letting Alice take her time to tell him. Mathew didn't want to make her more uncomfortable. Mathew just sat down on the ground right next to her looking at her with caring eyes.

"Who was the visitor?" Mathew asked her. Alice never mentioned it to him before. "What happened? Did they do something to you? What's wrong?" He asked trying to figure out what it could be about. Was it something to do with them getting married? After all that was what they were talking about before Alice announced she had something to tell him.

"No they didn't do anything to me but a lot of information was brought up..." she paused biting her tongue still thinking through the phrasing of everything.
"It was my father and there is a law." Alice squeezed Mathew’s hand her voice got a bit higher.
"And honey it says that I can't get married until I am 18 or older without parent permission and at first since Jona adopted me she could just give me permission but when my father came out of hiding and technically he got custody again because the only reason Jona could adopt me was because we thought he was dead... so he said he wouldn't give me permission to get married. Originally I just thought that I could find a way around it but its wound tight and the only way I could get around it is if I legally emancipated myself which is going to take some time and then again they might not even let me." Alice explained looking into his eyes she wondered how he would take this information how he would respond but she couldn't do anything else but wait and see.

Mathew froze uncertain of what to do or even what to think. He was so excited to finally be able to marry Alice and now it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. Mathew didn't know much about the law so he couldn't think of a solution. Mathew knew however that Alice was probably more crushed at what was happening than what he was.

"Alice" Mathew finally said after a few minutes of silence. "We'll find a way around it. I'm certain we will. He won't prevent us from getting married." he said giving her a weak smile. Truth was he didn't know if they could find a way around it. "If we have to we could still have a small wedding or something, it just won't be official and we could still get a house together and move in together and everything."

Alice gave him a forced smile before collapsing into his arms.
"It's just that I would be free from and finally be with you and have this wonderful life with you and I would never have to deal with him again but then all of this starts happening and it's like if I get to comfortable somewhere then all this trouble comes into my life." she said wanting to cry but was unable to let any tears escape. She backed up away from Mathew realizing how young and fragile she seemed.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to explode like that it just happened without any thought." she explained wiping her eyes as if that would fix anything for she was not crying so this served no purpose except to have an excuse to look away from him for a brief second.

Mathew wrapped his arms around Alice. Mathew could tell she just wanted to cry and wish there was just something he could do to solve the problem. When Alice backed away Mathew climbed to his feet and walked right over to her embracing her in a tight hug. He wanted to comfort her and at the moment Mathew thought that maybe a hug could help.

"Alice do you think I could talk to him about it?" Mathew asked her. He was uncertain if her father would even want to listen to him but Mathew was determined to set things right. Maybe he could convince Alice's father into letting them get married.

"No!" Alice screamed when he asked if he could go and ask her father and find a compromise.
"I don't want you anywhere near that crazy psycho son of a..." she cut herself off before she started cussing.
"There will be no meeting of my father Mathew I don't want you anywhere near him you don't know what he can do or what he is willing to do. I don't want you getting hurt I will just go through the legal system and pray it works and that he doesn't have a good lawyer... And if needed I can get the ministry involved I am not going to let him ruin are wedding and I am not endangering you for it." Alice explained with a slight smile holding on to the hug trying to make it last longer.
"Don’t' even think about it you are not going to see him." she warned she couldn't stress this enough.

"Okay, okay Alice I won't go talk to him." Mathew said still hugging her. He could tell the idea only upsetted her more and that wasn't in intention. He just wished he could wave his hand and make it all better. Mathew was hoping to be able to talk Alice's father into letting her marry but if Alice didn't want him to seek her father than Mathew wasn't going to. He didn't want to upset her anymore.

"I'll find us a great lawyer." Mathew said giving her a peck on the lips. "We'll get married."

"We can't" she muttered she knew they couldn't get a lawyer at least not a good one if they got one at all.

"Mathew number one how many lawyers do you know who are willing to defend a crazy vampire wizard?" she asked biting her lip this was getting to hard why couldn't it be simpler.

"Number two that whole thing with the ministry forever ago caused some trouble and it would be hard to find someone who would be willing to defend what cause all of that." Alice stated holding onto him.

"First I need to see if there is a way out of all of this which means I need to go talk to him." she practically whispered this knowing Mathew would be annoyed that she wouldn't let him talk to him but she could.

"And if that fails I am just going to have to represent myself in the case." she finished with a half smile trying not to look too bothered by this but she probably made it worse.

Mathew didn't like the sounds of things. Alice was right in what she said and at times Mathew wished that people didn't have such negative views on vampires or even werewolves but he could see why they did. Mathew sighed knowing she was right. He didn't want her to go talk to her father by herself.

"Can I come with when you speak with your father?" Mathew asked knowing the answer before the even asked her the question. "If not me than could Silvia or even mom go with you? I don't want you to have to do this on your own. This involves both of us."

"Mathew I have dealt with him for how many years I would hate to put someone else in danger." she said holding their hands out in front of them now the only thing in-between them.

"If it makes you feel better I will bring Stephaine." Alice said with an alternate solution.

"If she hasn't turned to the dark side yet." she whispered knowing this always could be the possibilities if she hasn't heard from her in a while.

"Mathew I know this involves you two but I don't want you ever near him it really is for your protection if he even just gets your sent he could track you down and hurt you... using familiar people he won’t be able to track anyone knew and thus cause any more problems." she explained though she knew this is what he wanted.

You can't do this he wants you so if you go then isn't he getting just what he wanted. Well it's not worth risking anyone and defiantly not Mathew. she thought biting the inside of her lip a bit so no one could see.

"Mathew promises me one thing... You won’t go looking for him or won’t find him under any circumstances you will not be near him." Alice could hear the argument coming and she could hear what he would say but he had to agree.

"Please no buts just agree." she added on with a worried face.

Mathew was hating what he was hearing but it wasn't Alice's fault nor his. It wasn't anyone's fault except for her father. Mathew couldn't understand why her father wouldn't allow Alice to get married and why there wasn't a way around his consent. Than when Alice said about taking Stephaine if she hasn't turned to teh dark side made him feel even worse about the situation.

"And what if Stephaine did turn to the dark side?" Mathew asked her. He was trying to avoid saying yes to lettin Alice go with her or alone. He wanted to be there for her but he knew Alice would continue arguing.

"I won't go search for him but I still want you to be safe. How can I be sure that you're safe if I'm not near you?"He asked her.

"If she did she would never hurt me she owes me her life and I think she hates my father more then I do so I would be safe with her." Alice explained knowing he would never go for it but it was at least worth a try.

"I have been safe by myself before when I was around him how do you think I managed before you came around?" she asked with a slight smile but this would not lighten the mood.

"I will keep you updated through mind chatter so it would be like you are next to me but you are not endanger." she suddgested but he wouldn't go for this either he wanted to be with her just in case.

"Even if I do get in trouble you can't go after him or try and rescue me if he has me promise?" she asked slowly adding more restrictions to the promise but it really was for his own safety.

Mathew was sure that Alice was right but he just had a bad feeling about it. Alice was right but Mathew still wanted to be there. He wanted to protect her. Though he knew deep down he wouldn't be able to protect Alice always and he also needed to trust Alice more. However it wasn't Alice he didn't trust, it was her father. How could he be certain that he wouldn't hurt her but Alice was right once again, she had managed to get far before she even met him.

Mathew sighed. "Please keep in contact. I want to know what all is going on." He didn't say anything about not going after her if kidnapped her.

"I will." she said raising an eyebrow he kept slowly leaving things out including the promise he seemed to refuse to accept and nothing would get done if he didn't.

"I made my promise now you have to make yours." she said crossing her arms waiting.

"Nothing will get fixed if you don't." Alice stated like dealing with a stubborn kid which technically he still was but that was ok because so was she. She waited for his response that was very important she needed him to say so because if he didn't she couldn't make sure he would stay safe. She kissed him on the cheek.

"Please!?" she pleaded wanting to cave but he might not on this subject something he was unmovable on.

Mathew tightened his jaw. He didn't just want to leave Alice as prisoner to her father. However if he didn't agree than she wouldn't go talk to him and they wouldn't be able to get married. Mathew knew how Alice would feel if she couldn't get married. Than Alice kissed him on the cheek and Mathew just had to cave him. He needed to let her try thing her way.

"Fine I will not come looking for you if you get into some kind of trouble" Mathew said with a slight sigh. He wish there was something more he could do but he had his hands tied. He just had to trust Alice. She was smart and he was certain she would be fine.

"Thank you honey." Alice said pleased that he agreed even though she knew Mathew wasn't too happy about this but he agreed which means he was willing to play along.
"So here begs the question when do I go see him?" she asked thinking through the logistics in her head.
if I go to morrow he won't be at his house and I would have to catch him when he is hunting which would be dangerous tempting and gory... going today would be too late to leave and be back in time so I would have to leave on a weekend because who know how long this will take... so most likely this weekend would be the best. she thought blinking her eyes slightly as she thought through all of this.

"I would go when he is at his happiest" Mathew said. "Make sure Stephaine comes along too. I don't want you going by yourself. I do not trust your father at all! I would trust my grandfather before I trust him." The only thoughts going through Mathew's head now was what could happen to Alice while she was away. If something bad did happen how could he come help her? Alice didn't want him to go chasing after her. He was certain he would be able to think of something but nothing was coming to mind. The more he thought about it the more he hated the plan

"He is never happy but after hunting probably his happiest." she said thinking through it after she said this realizing this would make Mathews feelings worse.

"But he should be reasonable I... I am his little girl right?" she stated trying to make Mathew feel more secure about it she hated saying that though saying she was his little girl like calling him her father it was genetically true but in reality it was far from the truth.

"I will make sure to Bring Stephaine with me stop worrying everything will be fine." she tried to secure him about it but she could tell he was still uneasy about the whole subject.

"That’s not true you would trust my father before your grandfather and you know it." Alice stated almost appalled by this though it was probably true his grandfather was just evil her father was crazy and evil.

Mathew had to stop himself from laughing. Voldemort was known for his lying so unless Mathew trusted his grandfather to do the opposite of what he wanted than Mathew could trust him in that sense. However Mathew didn't know his grandfather nor did he know Alice's father. Maybe he wasn't asbad as he was making him out to be. Maybe Mathew was worrying too much. After all Alice and him would be in contact the entire time.

Mathew walked over to Alice and embraced her in a tight hug. "Just be careful and come back soon after you leave to see." he said and than gave her a peck on the cheek.

"Trust me I am going to try and be out of there as soon as possible." she said with a smile hugging him back as he in braced her. She smiled when he kissed her.

You know he isn't very far off from his judgments on your father you can see where he is worried from right? she asked herself something she comely did in tough situations.

as long as your father doesn't invade your mind your solid now how to keep him from doing that is the real mysteries. Alice thought trying to figure out how on earth to block him. She is strong enough to block Jona from reading her thoughts but her father weeding through her mind for some reason she can't block.

Mathew smiled at her comment. He didn't like the situation but it did make him feel better that Alice would quickly get out of there as soon as she could. When he withdrew from the hug he looked down at Alice.

"So did you pick when you were going to go meet him?" he asked Alice. He wanted to know every little detail but had to refrain from asking Alice a million questions. He knew that after awhile she would only become annoyed.

"Well he hunts every day in the morning." she stated thinking about it a chill went up her spine when she said hunt it wasn't like how she hunted only taking what she needed to survive and nothing more including never biting a human. He was the exact opposite he hunted what he wanted and only Humans never animals he felt they were what his food ate so he wouldn't lower himself to their standards.

"And he won’t be there tomorrow." she said as if she had to explain to Mathew why she chose certain dates and time.

"The day after tomorrow at twelve would be the best I presume." she said hoping she would be able to get Stephaine to come along with her on that day.

Mathew was glad that the day was soon but also a little worried. At least Alice could go and get it over with quickly instead of waiting weeks thinking about it. Mathew wanted to argue some more with Alice about letting him come along but he knew that Alice would continue to protest.

"We should get in contact with Stephaine right away and make sure she can come along." he said. "Hopefully she's not busy."

"Ya I will do that when we get back to school." Alice said hoping Stephaine could otherwise Mathew would never let her go and on that matter he would argue more that he should come along which would be dangerous for everyone.

"Stop worrying everything will be fine." she stated kissing him on the lips but as far as emotion it wasn't there not at that moment she was concerned he was concerned and the whole situation was rather stressful.

"Smile for me please?" she asked though he would most likely just put on a fake smile but for some reason him smiling was comforting and it would make her feel more comfortable about this all like he really truly approved it all which she knew he didn't.

Mathew tried to push aside his worries. He was sure Alice was right. He was just overreacting to the whole situation but he still couldn't help but to think about it. Pushing aside his thoughts Mathew looked at Alice and gave her a weak smile.

Mathew was just about to try to convince Alice to take Silvia or someone along including Stephaine but he remembered what Alice said. He just needed to stop worrying. Alice had everything under control. He was certain of it.

"Well when you get Stephaine's response let me know what she says." Mathew said. Now he was starting to sound like a controlling boyfriend. He was just worried and he had to stop worrying. Mathew knew he would feel a lot better when she returned back from meeting her father.

"Ok Mathew I will keep you posted on everything." she said with a smile it was cute how much he was worried it showed how much he cared as long as he didn't go to overboard with it she thought it was cute.

I need a plan an idea anything I just can't go in there expecting a nice warm welcome with tea and cookies. I can't call or he might have something planned out. I need to work on blocking my mind before I go I don't want him find out information about Mathew by going through my mind. I can't just say hey dad can you allow me to get married please because that will go far. I just need to act quickly and in a smart way because he will be taking notes I guarantee this. she thought to herself accidentally pursing her lips so Mathew knew she was Thinking.

"What do I say?" she asked him unable to come up with a good answer to this herself.

Mathew could tell she was thinking. He ramained quiet, he didn't want to distract her from her thoughts. Than she asked him what she should say. mathew had to think. He didn't know Alice's father too well so he didn't know what exactly she should say to him.

"Umm... I dunno. Maybe ask him what he thinks about you getting married... " Mathew knew that sounded lame but he had no idea what Alice could say to her father.

She twisted her lips again thinking about. She knew what he thought about it but it was a good opener a good way to get all of the information out of him before she tried to solve the problem.

"That’s great." she said not enthusiastic about talking to her "father".

"Mathew what is I have to cut a deal with him like what if it's unreasonable but it's the only way would you be ok with this?" I asked knowing he would say know out of fear of where unreasonable stopped and crazy started.

"Like I will try my best to get it not to end to this but what if he says fine if you fill in the blank?" she asked knowing that was really vague and that her father would come up with something horrible. Who knows he might have something already planned out he might even know she is coming it's hard to tell.

Mathew looked at Alice thinking about her question. What deal would her father make with her, he couldn't really agree. Mathew didn't know what her father would think of. He took a deep breath. He knew that if it was totally unreasonable Alice wouldn;t agree. He had to put all his trust in Alice and that wasn't hard for him at all.

"Alice I trust you. If he wants you to make a deal with him thats unreasonable I think you should have the say. If you think you can live with the deal than I would accept the deal as well." Mathew said with a crooked smile.

Alice flung her arms around him hugging him.
"I don't even know what to say but suddenly I am afraid of meeting him I have dealt with him for so long and Stephaine would be there I would be safe but I’m scarred I know that if he gets inside my mind I won’t be able to stop him and he could find information about you and I’m sure if he gets in that he would make it the most pain inducing thing I have ever felt and this is why Stephaine is coming because of her abilities but Mathew what if he gets information on you he would use it against me I know it and it would hurt you... The most Stephaine can do is put him into a coma because he is a vampire and she can't kill him through that so what happens after that?" she asked as her worries spilled out.

Mathew hugged her back and now that he knew all of her worries and started to feel a little more worried as well, not for his saftey but hers.

Mathew gave her a weak smile and looked down at Alice. "Don't worry if he find out information about me. I'll be fine. If he does happen to do something to me he would have to not only answer to you but also Mom and Silvia, possibly a few other of my mom's friends as well. I'm sure they would outnumber him greatly. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Just go and talk to him and return to me quickly. What happens later we will deal with it."

Alice took a few breaths he didn't understand the trouble he could be in.
He doesn't know he doesn’t know what my father can be like he doesn't know how he puts every terror in your mind by merely saying one word how he can find what you fear the most and make it come true how he can drive you completely insane in one look from him. Mathew didn't know what it was like she thought but refused to tell him Mathew would only become more concerned by learning this information. He was one of the only things she feared because there was barely a way around him and usually it is just surviving. Mathew was right about one thing if he got into danger he has an army behind him.

"Don't worry I'll be fine." Mathew said. "You should be more worried about yourself. You're going to go see him. I'll just be safe in my home worrying like crazy about you." he smiled. He wanted to try to make her feel better but he could see how worried she was. "Don't worry about me/"

"It's hard not to when I love you so much." she said playing through all of the options all she knew was her dad wouldn't murder him at least not the first time, she was confident about this and found it comforting to know that Mathew wouldn't be dead but the bags the question which is better being dead or wishing you were?

"What’s to worry about, about me he wouldn't..." Alice trailed off she shouldn't have opened her mouth. She knew how to finish that sentence but Mathew wouldn't like how it ended and as she thought about it what she had been saying had been sugar coated and Alice hoped Mathew wouldn't pick up on this and just ignore that sentence.

Mathew smiled and said "I know you love me but you don't need to worry. If it helps you can tell your father that I'm You-Know-Who's grandchild. If he hasn't heard about my mom he might think that it's a good thing." he laughed.

When Alice trailed off Mathew grew a little worried and said "He wouldn't what? Surely he wouldn't hurt you?" Mathew started to feel more uneasy about it again.

"He wouldn't kill you." she said filling in the blank with something but it was not what she was thinking first she was thinking that her father wouldn't hurt her but he had tried to kill her three times and if he wasn't trying to kill her he had hurt her in some way. She wouldn't meet Mathew eyes she couldn't tell him this she couldn't even get the slightest sign of this because if he did she was sure Mathew was not going to be happy with that.

"But Stephaine will be there so there is nothing to worry about do you know what she is capable of there is no way my father will even get a chance to lay a hand on me before she acts and I will have my wand with my this time so I will be prepared." she said with a genuine smile this was true for the most part.

Mathew started to feel very uneasy about the whole situation. "I'm going to ask Silvia to come along." Mathew decided. "She's been around for thousands of centuries and she knows everything about anything!" Mathew said exaggerating a but. "If something did happen I know Silvia would be able to help you." Than he thought that Alice would object to this. "Please could you take Silvia if I can't go."

"Mathew I don't want to get her hurt." she said knowing Mathew would protest by saying that she wouldn't that she knows a lot about magic and junk like that.

"Meeting new people is not a good thing for him and not for me either when he first Met Stephaine he injected poisen into her blood which nearly killed her. When he first Met Jona he nearly killed her two and me. And that was years ago before he became twisted with age. Imagine what he would do now I don't think there would be an almost this time Mathew." she said biting her lip.

"Mathew it will be fine I assure you I will come back alive and well." she said trying to find something to promise she didn't know what her dad was willing to do so she wasn't sure what she could say.

Mathew bit his lip. Now he deffinalty didn't want Alice to go anywhere near the man but she still needed to. He was starting to think that visiting him might not be worth it. They were risking too much but he didn't say this to Alice.

"If anything happens I'm sending Silvia to rescue you. You cannot argue against it. I won't show up like I promise but I'll send her and possibly even mom to save you." Mathew said. This thought made him feel a little better and he hoped Alice wouldn't protest but he knew she would

Alice crossed her arms like a small child she didn't agree with this she didn't want any of this to happen.
"Mathew I will be fine why do you insist on these precautions the simpler the better I promise you." she said her eyes wide open waiting for his response she wasn't going to argue against him about Oddie and Silvia there would be no point he was set in his ways on that one thing for sure.

"Mathew it's just... don't you see what would be at risk for everyone who accompanied me it's too much of a risk to endanger that many people at a time I want risk peoples safety... I'm going to see him no matter what precautions are taken it's going to be dangerous I realize this but what you are suggesting won’t make it any better." Alice stated looking up into his eyes he wasn't happy about this she could tell.

"Yes but the more people you have with you the better chance you have against him." Mathew protested. He could sense a fight coming and he didn't want to fight with Alice. He had to think things through. He was being stupid. This was Alice's father, she had delt with him before and she knows how to act around him. Silvia has a strong character and would only make him angry and his mom would probably end up attacking him. Alice was right. Mathew sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm over thinking things."

"It's ok I get where you are coming from baby and maybe a day to think about it would serve us both some good before we work out every last detail." she said still standing close to him this time she was completely honest every word of that was true and she found that trying to find a plus side to all this was getting harder and harder.

"Maybe you are right but let’s just enjoy the view for a little bit Kay?" she asked looking up at him either way this was going to be bad and she had forgotten this by not dealing with him in a long time but she had to prepare now.

"Okay" Mathew said looking down at Alice. He was sure she would be fine and thing would work out fine. However he still had that nagging feeling that things would not be as simple as he hoped for. He sighed a little and looked up only to see that the unicorns who were there before were now long gone. All there was left was the little clearing they were at. The sun's rays were startung to peak through the leaves. He couldn't believe how long their conversation had lasted.

Alice looked over to see the unicorns were gone she was surprised.
"Wow what time is it I would hate to miss my next class." she said a bit sarcastic she hated some of her classes and no doubt saying she was out in the forest with her boyfriend talking about her father was not going to be a good excuse to tell her teacher to get out of trouble. She looked up at the sun.
"I think we have about fifteen more minutes." she said unable to tell time by this but guessing never hurt anyone.
