The Hogwarts Halloween Dance

::Amy walked into the Great Hall, which was looking resplendant for Halloween. She stood before the students gathered, and spoke in a loud voice.

"Welcome one and all to the Hogwarts Halloween Dance! Eat, drink, dance and have fun with at this goulishly ghostly gathering! Don't forget to have a listen to our special Halloween Playlist - filled with Halloween Songs and Party Dances."

::She jumped down from the stage, and smiled as the students began to enjoy the dance.::

::mcfly walked proudly into the great hall, dressed in her costume she had been working on, the red velvet went well with the white fluffy outline on her jacket. The cotton wool around her mouth and chin was itchy but she didn't take it off and the pointed hat she hat on flopped down by her ear. I wonder if anyone can guess who I am, it's a bit out of season but who said the costume had to be halloween related she thought::

::prinny walked in to the great hall...admiring the decorations around her the really did go all out she thought. she had thought long and hard about her costume and had also spent alot of time making it. eventually she had decided on this...simple but effective...she thought, feeling very conspicuous with a great orange ball around her and wearing green tights she walked in...i must be early she thought. and went over to elly...dressed up as father christmas::

"Hey ells! bit out of season arent you?"

"Well I thought it'd be a good conversation starter,"

::They laughed and the first song started to play,

"Ye! The moster mash!" They started dancing, mcflys hat falling off several times, as they started to jump around mcfly said,

"Aliza, you look like a basketball that's being dribbled!"

''elly! since when do basket balls have green legs and a green head? i mean pumpkins dont either but...i look like a pumpkin! i spent ages on this"

::still jumping around madly she shoved mcfly::

::Jen stepped into the Great hall and looked around. Seeing Elly and Princess, she waved at them and came over with a happy bounce in her step.::

"Hey you guys!" She said with a big grin on her face. "You guys look great! Elly your costume by far is probably the most original! NOBODY will ever think of wearing that! Much more dressed up than I am. I couldn't help it, the costume looked so pretty in the store window.::

::Jen looked down at her shining white toga dress and golden Greek sandels. Her cape swished around her as she hopped around looking for other people. Her hair was curled and caught up in gold vines, flowers, and leaves.::

"dang jenn! you look hot!" ::prinny laughed, "where'd you get it?"

::Jen grinned at Princess.::

"Just some little Muggle store called Party City." She said as the song changed. "It was only a few galleons. AND I get to tell people I'm a goddess for today!" Jen looked around again. "Wonder when everybody else will show up. What do everyone will dress as? I bid 5 galleons that someone will dress as a pirate and someone will dress as something assoicating with Dr. Who." Jen said in a whisper as she glanced at Elly, the Head Girl, as gambling wasn't allowed on Hogwarts grounds.::

"i have no idea...you know i was gonna come as something really slutty but the i thought that gin and jesse would get really mad at me!"

::she stopped her frantic jumping and went to get a drink of pumpkin juice...the she went back to jenn and elly::

"jumping sure is hard work!"

::then she whispered to jenn:: "ok but i bet 10 that someone will turn up as a death eater/dementor"

::Jen laughed::

"They sure would! Look what happened with Elana and Boggy! All the did was dance and GInny went on a warpath." Jen got herself a drink also. "Thank goodness I don't have any parents. Just Roman. my brother who's never around and lIly, the sister in law that doesn't care what I wear!"

::Mcfly smiled, a gamble she thought I like

"I bet 10 galleons that someone will come as a witch or somethine traditional halloweenish you know vampire, frankinstine" She whisphered,

"Oh by the way jenn funky toga! Bet it's cooler in taht then tis big coat and beard haha,"

She continued dancing and waited for the next person to arrive,

:Alyssa walked into the Great Hall, amazed by all the decorations. Even the big scary statues and music gave her the creeps. She looked down at her Pirate costume, wondering if it looked all right. It took a long time for her to save up for it, but it was definatly worth it. Looking up, to the funky beat of thriller she saw a group of people talking and decided to join in:

"Hey guys! I love your costume Jen, it's hott!" Alyssa complimented, smiling.

::Jen smiled at the sight of Dimples::

"Thanks! It's nowhere near as cool as yours!" Jen smiled happily, "She's a pirate! I win!"

:Alyssa smiled: "Natrually!"

:She laughed and then started to dance around Jen when the song Time Warp started to play:

"Come on, Jen!" she shouted above the music. "Dance!"

::prinny saw alyssa approaching...wearing...oh no!::

"alyssa! you should have showed me our costume first! i dont want any daughter of mine dressed like that! but...because its halloween i'll let you off - next time though, your grounded!!"

::prinny whispered to jenn:: " i get it from my parents" ^^

::Amber walked into the Hall looking around she grinned. She headed over towards, Jenn, Elly, Alyssa, and Prinny.::

"Hey guys!" She said. "Nice costumes!"

::She looked at them and was happy that she choose the ever orginal gothic fairy costume.::

::prinny grinned and pullled amber into the mad dancing::

"this halloween is gonna rock!"

::Amber laughed and danced along.::

"Why thank you," She replied. "Hope mum doesn't see I don't think she'd be to happy but then again she hasn't been around much lately."

"i feel sorry for alyssa, i got gin and jesse's protective genes!"

::prinny was beginning to tire again...dancing really was hard work::

::Amber laughed.::

"My kids souldn't worry to much I'm not that strict, besides they are good kids so I have no worries." She said still dancing. "Aww getting tired Prinny?"

''mhm...i've been here longer than you have!''

''we need some alcohol...someone spkike the punch!''

::prinny laughed, shame she had no alcohol on her::

::Amber laughed.::

"No thanks, I'm trying to set a good example for my kids by not drinking anything I know has achol in it." She said.




Trick or Treat Hunt

::Kalli walked into the hall and looked around. She was dressed as a witch as she couldn't think of anything better. She saw her mum and a group of people and she walked over.::

"Hi mum, Hi everyone else." She said.

::Amber smiled at her daughter with approval.::

"Hi Kalli," she said. "See I told you I have nothing to worry about."

"hey kali! original costume!"

::she grinned at amber:: "my daughter just hasnt gotten used to me yet, she will though''

::Amber laughed.::

"I feel bad for you Alyssa," She said.

"amber!! i am a nice mommy really!"

"where is everyone?"

"o and kali - original costume"

::prinny smiled to herself wondering when everyone else was going to turn up::

::Amber laughed.::

"You said that already no spiked punch for you!" She said.

::She looked around.::

"I have no clue where they are but they best get here soon!"

''i did? whoops!"

"i told everyone to come, but they wont listen!"

::Amber laughed.::

"Well I pity the poor single guys who walk in," She said. "They aren't going to know who to talk to first."

::She giggled and started dancing again.::

"I'm hyper!!"

"well...i am not gonna look at any guys for a while now" ::prinny laughed - only a few people would understand that the way that she meant it::

::Amber laughed again.::

"You know that was your fault not mine, its your matchmaking skills that got you there," she said. "I need to work on mine I wouldn't want to make the same mistake now would I?"

"well at least we definitely ruled out one guy!"

"True who knows maybe tonight you'll meet your masked guy," Amber giggled. "It happened for Elana it could happen for you too"

"true" ::she crossed her fingers:: "come on knight in shining armour!"

"If your calling for him I don't think he heard." ::Amber replied.:: "I want a knight in shining armor too!"

''anyway...i thought you said the objective of the dance was to dance...so lets dance!"

::prinny danced really fast, hoping amber was going to jon her::

skyla walks into the great hall apparently looking for a dress!!

"ooh music" she says before starting to dance still looking out for a dress

::Amber looked over and saw her mum.::

"Hi mum!" She said happily.

skyla skips over to amber, her feet getting wrapped in her dress as she fell flat on her face. looking up she saw ambers concerned face.

"I told you i didnt wear dresses" she said grinning as amber helped her up!

::Amber laughed at her mum.::

"I know mum I know," she said. "So what do you think of my custume?"

*quickly reads back a few pages hoping amber doesnt notice* lol

"Ooh I really like that" skyla says smiling.

"What do you think of mine" she says grimicing

::Amber smiled.::

"Of coarse mum its very hot." She said.

skyla grinned
"thats what i was going for"

suddenly monster mash started playing

"ooh i love this song"

::Amber grinned back.::

"Who doesn't?" She laughed dancing to the song once more.

::Merranda trips into the great hall. She was going for a gothic rockstar look. She had on a shorter black skirt, with some black and red leggings. Her shirt was red and black, and she had a plastic guitar hanging infront.(Sorry for the major detail, but since I don't have pictures yet, I thought why not?)::

"Amby!" ::Merranda runs up to Amber:: "It looks brilliant in here! And I love the Monster Mash of course!" ::Merranda dances to the monster mash in a very odd manner, which had her bumping into other people for she was very unsteady just now::

::Amber smiled and huggged her daughter.::

"Hey Merrranda great costume!" She started dancing with merranda.
