The Hogwarts Halloween Dance

::Chloe poked her head around the door and surveyed the dance. She was wearing a black dress which had a pair of black wings attached to the back::

::Chloe slowly entered the hall waving at the people she knew before taking a seat at a nearby table::

::Caree jumped down from the stage and joined the others in conga::

"WAAAAAHOOOOO!!!!!!" ::she cheered and danced around::

::Elly followed aru off the stage onto the dance floor, she joined the back of the line and started to conga::

"Doodoodooo come on anddo the conga, woo woo woo a train acros the floor!"

::Amber laughed watching everyone and saw Chole enter.::

"Hi Chole nice cotume!" ::she said still going on with the conga.::

::Kalli kept dancing the conga.::

"How long do you think this is going to go on?" ::she asked.::

::Amber shrugged.::

"Who cares?" ::she asked.:: "We can conga the night away!"

:Always waved her hands in the air and joined th conga line, kicking her heels in the air when neccessary. She hel a whistle in her mouth started to blow it in beat of the conga music:

::Amber looked to Alyssa.::

"I wish I could whistle!" ::She said.:: "I still haven't gotten the hang of it."

:Alyssa laughed as she kicked her left foot up high in the air:

"I wish I could too!" she said above the music. "Why do you think I have a whistle?":She laughed again and blew on her whistle: "I'm having so much fun! Arent' you?"

:: Amber laughed.::

"Well I didn't see you had a whistle," ::she replied.:: "And yup I'm having a blast!"

:Alyssa smiled:

"Whoo! I'm tired out!. I need a break." she said to Amber ans started towards the refreshment stand.

::Amber nodded.::

"Have fun, I'm going to conga till everyone stops," ::she laughed.::

"Okay!" she called over her shoulder.

:Alyssa took off her piratess hat and started fan herself as she sat down with her ounch and watched Amber rock the Conga line with everyone else. She'd go back and join, but she needed a break! She felt like she was going to collapse:

::While dancing the Conga line, Elana grinned at people's costumes. It was funny to see what her friends and family had dressed as and how many fit their personalities. She looked over her shoulder at Boggy, dyed blonde curls bouncing (dyed only temporarily for the ball of course).::

"Wonderful ball so far, don't you think? Wonderful people, wonderful music...."

::Amber looked back at Elana and just noticed that her hair was blonde.::

"Elana! What did you do to your hair? Its only temperary right?" ::she asked.::

"No, I've decided to keep it this way," Elana said matter-of-factly. "Why? Do you hate it?" Elana asked, mock hurt. Waiting to say anything until after the shocked face appeared on her friend's face, Elana said, "Of course I'm not keeping it! Blonde just isn't me, but it's how Sandy's hair is in the Grease. And," she said, motioning to her dress, "I am Sandy. Until the night is over that is."

::Amber laughed.::

"Well thats good to know," ::she replied.:: "How'd you come up with the idea?"

He was jerked forward, heavily gelled hair not moving an inch, and drug into the Conga line. He smiled as he looked around at everyone's costumes. I love these people... He leaned in close to Elana's ear. "I think that you look great, even is blonde isn't your color." He chuclked a bit, kissing her cheek before leaning back, letting his emerald eyes wander.

::Elana blushed, smiling, then replied to Amby's question.::

"Well, I just thought it would be fun to do," she said with a grin.

"And you look very dashing yourself," Elana said, looking back towards Drake.

He smiled. "Well, you did pick the costumes. You have better taste than I do!"

Seamus wandered into the Great Hall, clad in his chosen outfit for the night:

He smirked to himself as he spotted Drake in the Conga line with Elana. "What an opportunity." Seamus snuck up behind his older brother and threw his arms around his neck, putthing his "sword" to Drake's throat. "Avast ye skurvy dog! Grant me a dance with yer saucy wench and I'll be lettin' you live!" Of course, he hardly thought that about Elana. (For the record, so Ginny doesn't kill me...I've heard about her. *Cowers*)

::Chloe smiled at the newcomers antics before standing up to get a drink::

::Amber watched everyone and finally decided that she was goign to sit down.::

"I've changed my mind I'm NOT going to conga the night away," ::she said.:: "its to much work."

"Avast ye skurvy dog! Grant me a dance with yer saucy wench and I'll be lettin' you live!"

::Elana doubled over with laughter. Once she had recovered, she hugged her dear brother-in-law.::

"This 'saucy wench' is glad to see you too, Seamus," Elana said with a wide grin.

::Dancing ran into the hall her hair was flapping away in wisps. Her goth black white vampire outfit was perfect for the occassion.


::She waved furiously at Elana and Jen she walked over to Amber.

"hi girl waz up?" She said.

::Jenn popped up in her white goddess costume and smiled at Elana, Drake, and Seamus.::

"Well, if Seamus is going to try to kidnap Elana, it's only right for me to demand a dance with Drake!" Jenn joked as she hugged Elana. "I still have to settle a problem with you Drake. Your wedding is over and I still see no sign of my payment of apples! Everyday that passes I'm demanding an extra interest payment of 5 apples per overdue day!"

::She frowned at them both as she tried not to smile. Winking at Seamus, she gave him a hug also. "I'll be waiting for a dance with you too Seamus. But don't worry I won't run you over like Drake.".

::Seeing Dancing's wave, Elana waved back, glad that she had come.::

::Elana bit her lip, trying not to burst out in laughter again after Jenn had spoken, and actually kept a straight face.::

"So how many apples is it now Jenn dearest? You look marvelous by the way," Elana said, grinning. "Wait- do I not get a dance?" she asked, 'stunned.' She humphed and turned her back on their small group, arms crossed angrilly and her nose in the air. She was having trouble keeping a straight face, and couldn't keep a wide grin off.

::prinny decided to join the mad conga line, she smiled at elana and drake:: "nice costumes you guys!" ::then she grinned turned to jenn and said:: "apples? you demanded apples? what happened with that? had it been me i would have wanted the money!"

::Amber smiled at Dancing.::

"I'm good a little congaed out for now, but no worries," ::she replied.:: "I love your costume by the way."

"amber" ::yelled prinny from the conga line:: "come join us!"

::Amber shook her head.::

"I am congaed out!" :: she yelled back.::

::dancing hurried over to the conga line.

I'll join" she said grabbing the end.

::Lifey nearly tripped over her long ice queen gown, but regained composure and continued to dance!!! ::

"Hey Dancing!" ::she grinned. the line was so long you could see the end::

::Jen laughed at Elana as she turned her back on them.::

"Well, of course I would dance with you Elana," Jen said as she cocked her head in Drake's direction. "But I figured he wouldn't let you out of his sight! Yeah Princess I would have asked for money but do you think these two would actually give me money?" She jokjed to Princess::

::Looking down at her costume, her eyes widened as she figured out something. Grinning ear to ear, she took out her wand.::

"I actually bought this costume cause it's not too expensive and the one I wanted was way too expensive." Jen said as she waved her wand around. "But I just realize I'm a witch! I could wear whatever I want!"

::Jen muttered a few words and tapped herself on her head with the wand. Her white toga suddenly shortened and became a shiny navy blue. White gloves, boots, and a tiara appeared as her wand suddenly became a large thick wand with a golden moon on it.::

"Guess what I am now?" Jen said as she twirled in a circle in front of Elana. Looking around, she laughed as she commented. "Now who could I persuade to dress in a tuxedo and throw roses at people to be my Tuxedo Mask?"

(lol this was actually my dream halloween costume but its too expensive and I didn't have long enough legs to pull it off. lol But I realized in here, that doesn't matter!

Drake smirked and shook his head as his brother's arms were thrown about his neck. "Why hello Seamus." He shook his head and couldn't help but laugh. "Kidnapping me now are you?" He poked Seamus in the chest. "Or just 'kidnapping' me to get to my wife?" He gave a sly grin and elbowed Seamus in the ribs. "Nice costume, but you're missing something." Drake flicked his wand in his general direction and a parrot appeared on Seamus' shoulder, which immediately began to sing "Pirates Life" in the most annoying voice imaginable. "There. Perfect!" Drake grinned wildly and stepped to the side should Seamus take a swing at him. "Hey everybody!" He smiled as they were bombarded by waves and hellos, and being too lazy to call eveyone by name, he put forth the general welcome. "We'll pay you Jenn..." He smiled and winked at the gril. "Eventaully." He looked over at Elana who was "shunning" them and smirked. "Come on now, lovely, you can dance with whoever you want! As long as they don't give me a reason to Crucio them. (Jesse was rubbing off on him!) He blinked as Jenn's costume changed before their eyes and he elbowed Seamus. "Sounds like something odd you'd do, Seamus! Go throw roses at people like a maniac!"

"Aye, mate, I be usin' you to get to yer girl!" He said with a laugh as he hugged his sister-in-law back. "Of course! You can all have a dance with me, there's enough of Seamus to go around!" He smirked and triwled a finger aorund his "mustache." He waved at the raondom people passing their group, having no idea who any of them were. He looked over as Jenn changed her costume, having not really paid any mind to the rest of the conversation involved. "Oooh." He smirked and elbowed Drake back. "He is right though..." Seamus removed his wand from his pocket and twirled it around in the air and in a shower of orange sparkles, he became the dashing Tuxedo Mask!

::Jen glared at Boggy.::

"Okay, but any later paying me and I'm upping the payment to watermelons!" She joked. Her eyes widened as Seamus changed his costume to become her charming Tuxedo Mask.::

::Laughing, Jen leaned over and stole two of his roses in his jacket. "I like this costume alot better than the pirate one." She handed one to Elana. "Here."

He grinned and looked himself over. "Not bad." He nodded approvingly. "I think I do too!" He remvoed a rose from his jacket as well and slipped it into Drake's heavily gelled hair. "There! Perfect." He raised his brows and nodded, turning back to Jenn. "Say, you don't have a date, do you?"

::Jenn laughed and smiled at Seamus.::

"Very subtle. Why yes I do! But I suppose I can dump them. I mean I can't have Sailor Moon dancing with a vampire right?" Jen joked. "No I don't."

"I thought so." He grinned and was momentarily confsued by her comment and he quirked a borw. But a smile soon swept his features in sudden realization. "Great!" He turned a bit red, Seamus wasn't as charismatic, he supposed, as Drake. "Want to be my date then?" He asked in a very awkward teenage boyish sort of way.

::Jenn laughed again. "Very smooth."

:: Jen gave it some thought as she slowly nodded her head. "Sure, might as well since our costumes would look good together in pictures." She said seriously trying not to laugh. Deciding the give Seamus a break, Jen gave him a reassuring smile. "I would love to."

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! He sighed in relief and smiled as she accepted...though he felt like she was only doing it because she felt sorry for him...hopefully noy. "Brilliant." He smiled and offered his arm to Jenn. "Shall we then?"

::Jenn laughed and nodded her head at Elana.::

"Didn't you just ask Elana 'the saucy wrench' to dance with you?" Jenn asked with a slight smile. "Or are you so eagered to show me your dance moves?" Jenn cocked her head at him with her twinkling eyes.::

~With a slow stride, Jesse entered the room dressed in his costume carrying his skullhead that could magically shrink to the size of a penny-which he made it do for the moment as he took a look around. His blue eyes scanned the room and he brushed his blond hair back, rather intrigued that the dance was buzzing with so many people.~

~He waved to those he knew and then made his way across the room stopping to greet the few whom he saw gathered by the refreshment area.~ "Hello, hello nice to see you too!" He smiled and then picked up a glass of 'blood' colored punch and sipped it. "Quite a fun party." he said to no one in particular.~
~Then he spotted Jenn with some fancy fellow dressed as a pirate. He walked over to them. "Hey Jenn, having a good time, are you?" He smiled then shifted his blue eyes to Mischief. "Hi, I don't think we've met formally. I'm Jesse." he said in a friendly manner.~

::Jenn turned around and smiled as she saw Jesse coming toward them holding a skull in his right hand.::

"Hey Jesse!" She said as she looked him up and down. "That costume suits you! *leans in closer to the skull* Er...that isn't a real skull is it?" She asked as she slowly eased away from it.::

"Oh yeah, this is Seamus, your new Slytherin house member. Seamus, this is Jesse, your Resident Head Death Eater, Second Head of House, Head Boy, Quidditch Captain, and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm probably forgetting." Jenn said with a smile.

"Jenn, I'm flattered you remembered all that about me." Jesse blushed. "But let's not scare Seamus with all of those things yet...right now I'm just calm, cool collected Jesse...though...she's right about all she said. I have many titles including ones I can't say here." He chuckled. Then he handed his skull to jenn.~
"For you my dear friend. Happy Halloween. This skull was once one of my enemies..though I can't remember how he died, all I remember is I was giving him a good Crucio and-" ~scratches his head~ "I can't recall what else..hmm anyway it's your gift!" He smiled proudly.~

*Georgia as normal she was late, s. Her hair and make up where extravagate. She wonder into the great hall trying not to fall over in her 6 inc heels. Her hair was dyed blonde for the night and it was as big as anything but that was the look she was going for dead fairy look. Her tights had so many holes in and so did her dress you would have never guessed it took her over two hours to get ready She scanned the hall for anyone that she knew and then she spotted Jess and Carr and walked over to them still trying not to trip and make a fool of herself.*
“ Hiii you two. Wow your looking hot!” she said trying to pull down her dress.
*Her eyes yet again scanned the room and she could see a mixture of colour and of course Jesse looking like he was torturing some boy as normal. She turned back to Carr and Jess*
“Shhhhh don’t tell anyone but I don’t think I’ll be able to move all night my dress is way to short and I really can’ t walk in these shoes.”

::Elana turned back to the group, inwardly jumping for joy for Jenn and Seamus. This was wonderful, perfect! She tucked the rose Jenn had handed her behind an ear, remembering one in that place from the last ball. She noticed the Jesse had come and didn't much like the look of the skull.::

"Now Daddy," she said, eyeing the skull warrily, "Why exactly are you giving that to Jenn? Oh, and Drake, love?" she said, turning to him. "No Crucio's. That's Daddy's job," she said with a laugh. Noticing that somehow some hair from the heavily gelled curl in the middle of his forehead had fallen out, reached up and twirled them around her finger until they stayed. Elana stepped back to make sure it was all together, then smiled at him. "That's better."

::Caree danced her way to the drinks, dragging Georgie with her::

"Glad you could make it!" ::she told her and smiled.::

"Soooo, how's things going?" ::Caree asked and twirled her whistle around while looking for any troublemakers she could give a warning to::

*As she pulled to the drinks, she was being careful not to fall over*
“Everything is good how about you?” she asked as she grabbed a drink and started to play with one of her wings.
