The Hogwarts Halloween Dance

:Marie entered the hall while muttering, trying to get her costume right in place and glaring around at everybody:

"Stupid muggles who delivered the stupid costume late at stupid home who stupidly sent it even more late with stupid old owl..." she mumbled under her breath before tripping over her dress.

"Gah! Darn, that's the third time today!"

:Groaning, she got back on her feet and took a deep breath to calm herself down, replacing her head piece correctly while thinking "Stupid thing" and going to the people who were already there:

"Heya everybody," she said, smiling.

"Well, other than slightly bored, i'm just fine..."

::Caree watched the people around dance, as she suddenly grinned widely::

"I feel like dancing!" ::she announced and ran to the dancefloor.::

::Caree rudely pushed everyone out from her way and cleared her throat::

"EVERYONE!!!" ::Caree said loudly, waving her arms in the air to get everyone's attention:: "I'm gonna perform a little dance, so if i may ask the orchestra to play "It's not unusual" by Tom Jones?" ::she asked with a sweet smile::

::As the music started, she began to dance like no one was watching, even if everyone actually DID watch her make a fool of herself.::

"It's not unusual to be loved by anyone...." ::Caree sang and danced, with a stupid grin on her face::

"Er, gee thanks Jesse. I'll be sure to put it on my nightstand." Jenn said slowly as she held the skull by her fingertips.::

::Glancing up she saw Caro dancing and she whistled. "Woohoo! Go Caro!" She suddenly saw her Head of House come in and she waved. "Hey Marie!"

llly walked in and went straight over to the food and drinks table. She had just been riding her broom, practising to be the new all star quidditch captain, and was looking forward to a great party.

"Anytime Jenn, oh and if you want I can dig up the rest of him when I'm passing the cemetary and-~he looked to see caru and illy "HEY ILLY AND CARUUUUUU Awesome dance!! Everybody do the Carlton!!!!!" He shouted as he started shaking his bootie and dancing along with Caru~

"Yaaaay Jesse!!!" ::she cheered and laughed as Jesse started to shake his bootie:: "Work it, work it, work it!"

::Caree looked around like she was the queen of the dancefloor and started the dance from the beginning again::

"Wahooooo!!! I think we rock the most!!!" ::she smirked and continued dancing like a dork::

:Marie grinned at Jenn and waved at her:

"Hey Jenn. Nice costume," she said, smiling.

"Woooooooo Go Carr" she screamed as Carr stated to dance
"hahahahahaha Jesse your a funny dancer"

:Alyssa ran over to Jenn and smiled:

"Let's go dance!" she said and started shaking her booty, in imitaiton of the Carlton dance. She threw her piratess hat towards an unoccupied table and it accidentally landed on someone's head. SHe didn't know who it was though.

Quickly, she ran deeper into the crowd by queenbee and danced there instead.

"Hi!" she said to queenbee.

*she looked over to see dimples standing next to her*
"Hiya Having fun?" she said as she started to move to the music but not moving to much because of her stupid 6 inc heels

::Lifey, who hadn't really found anyone yet to hang out with, let herself be pushed into the center of the crowded moshpit like dance floor.::

::She broke free to whisper to the dj and grinned::

::She then took her turn to make a fool out of herself.::

::Soon, as she stood up on the stage, the well known beat and the ...girlish voice... started.::

::Lifey started to dance, and pulled some of her friends whom she spotted, up with her::

"Drake did tell me a bit about you." Seamus raised a brow as Jesse handed Jenn the skull. "Lovely." He smirked and proded the skull with his wand a couple of times before stowing it back in his pocket. "I'm Drake's younger brother." His eyes momentarily shifted to Drake and then back to Jesse. "I wouldn't worry about scaring me, that's a bit hard to do." He chuckled a bit. "Unlike Drakeie boy." He conjured a glass of pumpkin juice and took a drink, looking at Drake over the brim of the glass. "Slytherin is my home afterall...Drake's the first to end up in Gryffindor." (Based on a story Drake and I wrote together lol)

::Amber looked around and for the first time felt alone. She saw different groups of people hanging out all around the hall, but she had no clue who to go talk to.::

"Okay I'll just stand here like an idiot then," ::she said to herself whistlist standing watching everyone else.::

::Jenn gently placed the skull on a nearby table.::

"I think I'll just..er..leave it there so I won't accidentally break it or something while we're dancing." Jenn said quickly as she smiled at Jesse.::

"So you guys don't have any other brothers that are going to pop up later on do you?" Jenn joked as she looked up at Seamus.::

(lol I'm assuming you're taller cause I'm slightly short)

::Lifey pulled amber up to do the thriller dance with her::

::Amber smiled gratefully at Lifey and started dancing.::

"You know I don't know this dance," ::she said trying to do it anyway.::

Dancing Laughed at Amber and Lify She had seen Elana and Jenn but no one else she'd met before. She smiled who would care.

She yelled loudly, very loudly. "ANYONE WANNA DANCE?"

::Amber giggled.::

"I should try that," ::she said.:: "ANYONE ELSE WANT TO DANCE?"

::She yelled out using the very smart idea Dancing had come up with.::

Hey Amber." Dancing waved my idea doesn't seam to be working.

::Lifey laughed and joined the other two girls in trying to find dance partners.::

"Maybe we should make signs" ::she laughed cheerfully.::

"Yup! I'm having lots of fun!" she said to Queen. "Come on, I know how to dance this!" she said taking the girls hand to join the others.

:She laughed, standing next Amber and started doing the moves to Thriller. She had watched thos music video so many times, she had mesmorised the steps. So, she began to show Amber and Queen how to do it:

Seamus shook his head and laughed a bit. "No, we do have a sister though." He made a face, thinking about his bratty younger sister. "Don't know that she'll be popping up though."

Drake shook his head as his brother changed his costume. "I just had to say something, didn't I?" He took Seamus' pupmkin juice from him and took a drink. "You probably would have done it anyway." He said as he handed the empty glass back. "Aw!" He turned his emerald eyes to Elana and made a face very similar to a pouting puppy dog. "I want to Crucio someone! I'm your husband, I should get to Crucio people if they...defy you." He went crosseyed as he tried to watch her fix his hair. "It'll be doing that all night, might as well get use to it." He glanced over as Jesse handed Jenn the skull. "Oy, Jesse! What's that for..or from?" He quirked a curious brow. "Thanks Seamus, rub in the fact that I'm the oddball why don't you?" He glared at his brother and proded him with his wand. "I could lick you any day...even if you do think you're a baby Death Eater." He flicked the brim of his tophat and smirked. "And no, I doubt that Kaley will be showing up here." (Kinda hard when we all share ONE computer)

"Oh no I'm going to the dance with a Death Eater?" Jenn asked as she laughed. "Oh well I guess being a Death Eater is okay. It's not as cool as being a Hufflepuff but some of us just aren't that lucky." Jenn said as she patted Seamus's arm sadly.::

"Are we just going to stand here and talk all night?" Jenn grabbed Elana's arm. "Let's go dance!" Looking over her shoulder, she smiled at the two guys. "You two can come too I suppose!" She gave them a huge smile.::

"I'm a Huff Puff at heart, does that count?" He grinned and turned his dark eyes on Drake, punchign him in the arm. "As for you." He glared at his older brother. "You could not beat me in a duel, and you're just jealous because you are the ODDBALL. Whole family is in Slytherin but you." He poked Drake in the chest. "Besides...who ever said I was a Death Eater?"

He smirked. "No, he's an ickle baby Death Eater!" Drake started to follow Jenn as she drug his wife away, but Seamus had just punched him. "Oh, I couldn't?" He prodded Seamus in the chest. "Be glad that me wife is here, I'd clean your clock." It seemed that his accent only got worse when he got uppity, because it was rather bad now and he was falling out of "character." He glared back at Seamus. "So what if I'm an oddball? And you said you were, you bloody nitwi!"

::Jenn turned around to see Drake prod Seamus.::

"Oh no," She rolled her eyes and stepped in between the two boys. "No fighting at the dance! I don't want the house elves to have to clean up real blood in here." Hooking an arm through each of their arms, she lead them to Elana.::

"Oh look there's your sweet wife!" Jenn said happily. "If you want to duel, do it later in the Room of Requirement. It cleans on its own!" Jenn jokingly added.::

::Lifey smiled at the happy couples, adn looked around for a single guy she could bribe...er...blackmail and threaten...er....talk to and possibly dance with::

::Caree joined the Thriller dance, which she could perfectly. She wasn't embarassed to dance it either!::

"Come on, everyone up here and dance!" ::Caree laughed and spun around quickly, and did the moonwalk::

"WAHOOOO!!!!!"

::Jenn smiled at Lifey and mouthed the words 'project later' to her.::

::Suddenly remembering something she read somewhere, she turned to Seamus with a smile. "Hey, isn't your birthday soon?" She asked with a twinkle in her eye.::

~Jesse decided to take a break from dancing and waved to his friends on the dancefloor. "Whew guys I need to take a breather. Carry on without me!" He said with a smile as he strolled over to grab himself a drink. "This is quite a party." He said toasting the nearby people. "Hey did you see my awesome dancing? :D

::Caree danced her way after Jesse and hit him playfully::

"You're such a girl..." ::she teased laughing:: "Sooooooo" ::she said and eyed the drinks in front of her:: "What do we have here?"

~Jesse sipped his drink then laughed as Caru hit him~ "Aw Caru, you know I can't resist the Carlton Dance, it's like awesome haha. You got anymore good dances for later?" He asked.~

"Yeah, I got the Will and Carlton dance! It's awesome, and easy, really..." ::she informed and put her drink back down and took a few steps back to show him the moves::

"But that's for later, when my hyperness hits the top..." ::Caree said with a nod and took her drink again:: "Now, i'm trying to calm down and actually look around for awhile!"

"Oh look there's your sweet wife! If you want to duel, do it later in the Room of Requirement. It cleans on its own!"

"Yes, thank you, Jenn. Save the fighting for later, if you must," Elana said, not minding Drake's puppy dog eyes. "Doesn't have any effect on me, love. I've used it too often myself!" she said with a laugh. She demonstrated, bottom lip stuck out, bright green eyes wide and sorrowfull looking, chin quivvering and made soft puppy whimpers.::

::Jenn suddenly sneezed. She grinned at the others.::

"I think I may be getting a little sick." She said as she rubbed her arms to get a bit warmer. "Is it just me or did it suddenly get cold in here? I'll just go get something to drink. Maybe that will warm me up!" She made a typical Sailor Moon pose and laughed. (Gosh I miss that show lol)::

::Walking toward the table with the drinks, she spotted Jesse and Caro. "Hey you guys!" She exclaimed as she poured herself some punch and heated it up with her wand. "I saw you guys killing the dance floor out there! When will your next performance start?" She joked.

(I think I really may be coming down with something...Jesse! it's all your fault I caught it from you! lol)

*Laughs as she wacths the others dance and looks around to se carr and jesse talking and skips over to them*
"Awwwwww look at you two sooo cute. so what you two gunna do just stand here all night or come and dance with the great me hey?"

:Alyssa broke away from her dancing partners: "I need a break guys, I'm wiped out!" she laughed and sat down, grabbing a handful of pretzels and eating them one by one. Jesse and Caree doing the Carlton dance, was great entertainment. She laughed as she watched them.:

::Dancing conjerd up a hugh sigh, Anyone want to dance.


If that doesn't work nothing will.

"Hey Dancing any chance you can conjure up a sign for a crazy, weird, brunette Gryffindor?" ::Amber asked laughing.::

Caree looked at Georgie and then at Jesse.

"First of all, WE do NOT look cute!" she muttered from behind gritted teeth.

"Anyway, Gooey dear, let's go!" Caree said sweetly and dragged Georgie away to the dance floor. "Bye bye Jesse!" she said over her shoulder and disappeared in the crowd...

::prinny was tired out from dancing so much and so went over to the drinks table, dragging amber with her::

"whew, i hope i lose a couple of pounds after tonight!" ::she grinned, the handing amber some of the 'spiked' punch she sat down::

::Amber laughed.::

"Well maybe some of us don't want to lose a couple of pounds," ::she said taking a sip of her drink.:: "hmm what flavor is this?"

"Aw, you guys ruin all my fun." Drake pushed Seamus away as Jenn drug the two of them off. "Well then how am I suppose to get my way with you if the puppy dog pout doesn't work?" He smiled and shook his head as Elana demonstrated her own pout. "Unfortunately for you, lovely, it doesn't work on me either!" He poked her nose playfully and looked to Seamus. "Go take care of your lovely date and let me spend some time with me wife!" He shooed Seamus away and looked over at Elana with a wink.

"Fine then," she said, making a face before winking back. Elana grinned, trying to think of another way to get what she wanted if there was ever a disagreement between them. Not coming up with anything, she took Drake's hands in hers and said, "You know...you had to leave the wedding before we ever got a dance...."

Seamus stuck his tongue out at Drake and stumbled a bit as he was pushed. "I'll get you later, Drake." He glared at his brother and watched as Jenn walked past him. He made a face as the "happy couple" started acting all mushy and decided to go get his own glass of punch and leave them be...for now.

Drake smirked. "See, you won't come up with anything that can get to me." He chuckled a bit as Seamus sulked away and he closed his ahnds around hers. "Right you are." He smiled, emerald eyes locking onto hers. "We need to have our first dance as a married couple." He raised his brows and grinned.

"That we do," Elana replied, giving him another grin of her own. "That Carlton dance still playing?" she asked, looking out to the dance floor. "Because if it is I think we should wait, that wouldn't be a good first dance by the looks of Jesse and Car's dancing," she said with a laugh.

::Jenn grinned at Seamus as she sipped her warm *apparently spiked according to prinny lol* punch to warm up a bit.::

"The lovey dovey couple made you leave huh?" She said with a laugh. "That's okay, they're newlyweds. It's expected." She rocked a bit on her heels a bit and looked at him. "I didn't actually go to the other dances so....what now?"

He shook his head at the two as he walked away, getting a glass of punch. "Well." He looked at Jenn ofer the top of his glass. "We have a good time and dance I suppose." He shrugged. "I never come to these things." He smirked a bit, taking the tophat from his head momentarily to wipe his brow and then replacing it.
