The Hogwarts Halloween Dance

"I knew it!" ::Amber said triupmiantly.:: "I knew you could read minds!"

::She grinned and shrugged::

"Only sometimes. It's typically little insights into the future I get. Like, my friend said 'Guess what' and I said 'What? Oh and if you say chicken butt I'm whacking you' and she said 'Chicken butt-woops!'" ::she laughed at the memory:: "That was an interesting conversation"

::Amber laughed.::

"But I was still right, which makes me happy."

"Ha, well I'm glad you're happy, Amby." ::Ginny said, kicking her feet ridiculously up in the air.::

::Amber laughed.::

"I'm not even going to try that or I will end up on my back on the floor."

::She shrugged::

"It's not that hard just try it...wee!" ::Ginny kicked and ended up on her back on the floor. Wincing, she got up::

"Okay...don't..try it..owwch.."

::Amber Laughed.::

"See my skill is building."

::The red head got up::

"Perhaps you are"

"Well now I'm happy!" ::Amber smiled.::

"Tonight must be your night to be happy, eh, Amby?" ::she said, grabbing amber's hand and spinning her again.::

"Well of coarse!" ::Amber replied.::

"This is Halloween this is halloween..." ::Ginny sung to herself as she raised her hands in the air and spun around.::

"I really liked the Halloween eppy of Charmed...random I know but amusing."

~He started singing karaoke loudly~ OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LIVIN ON A PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!

::Ginny jumped into Amber's arm and screamed.::

"Don't DO that Jesse!"

"JESSE MY EARS!" ::Amber screamed, covering them dropping ginny.::

Dancing laughed loudly

::It was like a frat boy party here. Water going everywhere. crazy dancing.

It was good to be at a party again, she sighed.

I wish there was someone to dance with...

She stood and fell again "too much punch," she whispered to Pinny. "If I'm not careful Ginny's gonna get me."

~He stopped singing and looked to amber and ginny and laughed~

HAHAHA Awwwwwwww did i scare you?

::Amber laughed.::

"Jesse that wasn't scary that was perminate ear damage you just caused." ::she sighed.:: "However I'm not any better so souldn't really care."

Awww it couldn't have been that bad amby!

"Okay Its not that bad, its just you were terrible off pitch and that bugs me so much," ::Amber replied.::

::Traci entered the dance and walked over to where she saw jesse, ginny, and amby.::

"Hey can i dance to." she asked over the music

Dancing stumbled over to Amber.

"LETS DO THE POKEY HOKEY, I mean the HOKEY POKEY."

lol i love spiked punch, i only had about 15 cups

"Dancing I do this for your own good." ::Amber said.:: "Aguamenti!"

Dancing covered her head. With her arms but to late she was doomed.

"Arg....I'm melting....Arg." Dancing fell over to imatate melting. "Melting, melting, I lost my ruby slippers."

lol, maybe that was for my own good.

After a moment to effects wore off. "Thanks amby. but now I'm wet. *sigh* oh well."

"Gin did it to me I figured I'd return the favor," ::Amber laughed.::

"Well thanks anyway," DAncing laughed as well. "Hey you want some punch?"

"No!" ::Amber excalimed.:: "i've learned my lesson."

"lol amby jk."::Dancing conjured up some normal not skiped punch::"How about some normal not spiked punch?" and offered a glass to Amber.

The liquid was a dark blue not red like the spiked punch.

"Okay," ::She replied drinking some of it.::

Dancing took a sip of her own.

"I wish there were some single guys here to dance with."

"Psh!" ::Amber said.:: "Me too."

"Well..." Dancing pulled out her wand, and whispered Handsome. And a tall Handsome man appered.

"Would you like to dance," He said in a middlish deep voice. "You look lovely"

"Thank you Handsome," Dancing said and danced away with him by her side on to the dance floor.

::Amber stared in shock and giggled.::

"Nice!" ::she told Dancing.::

As it Handsome turned out to be a, I would like to say great but that would be a lie. dancer

"Kay Amber you can dance with the conjured up Prince Charming."

::Amber laughed.::

"Oh really why thank you." ::she said.::

Dancing let go of Handsome's hand and sat down and watched the two dance.

She grabbed a cup of punch. and sipped before spitting it out again because she remembered it was spiked. She pulled out her wand and conjured up another punch bowl and two signs that read

Spiked

Not spiked

"That should help," And she grabbed some Not spiked punch

::Amber finsihed dancing with Handsome. She came over and looked at the signs.::

"Smart!"

"Yep all great Ideas come from mistakes." Dancing drained her glass and grabbed another. "So Is Handsome a adbay ancerday?"

::Ginny got up, glaring at Jesse, her rear end stinging.::

"YOU MADE AMBER DROP ME!! THAT HURT!" :she said, whacking him over the head.::

Dancing laughed at the thump on the head of Jesse. But was cut short from a look, by the firey red head.

::Elana looked around the crowded hall, laughing as her eyes fell on the projection of Jesse dancing, spiked punch and not spiked punch (that was going to be handy...unless someone had a bit too much of the spiked punch and couldn't tell), a few people doused in water...This was how a ball normally was at the H.E. She grinned at the thought, loving the H.E., and turned back to Drake, wondering what his idea could have been.::

::Amber laughed at Ginny and Jesse, and grabbed another glass of the non spiked punch.::

"The wonders of amusment."

::prinny grabbed a glass of the spiked punch (its fun to be drunk!) and drank it all in one gulp::

"amberino....will you dance with me?"

::Amber shrugged.::

"Sure why not,"

"Watchout Amby She's been drinking the Spiked punch all night long." Dancing giggled.

*sigh* "I think I'll dance with Handsome again, how ever bad he maybe." And begun to dance with the conjuered up dance partner.

Jimmy entered the Hall in something of a hurry, muttering under his breath about switching spells and third-years who have it coming as he finished tucking in his shirt, just in time. With something of an apprehensive glace, he made his way over towards the punch, adjusting his vivid orange shirt and trousers one more time. Hey, he'd only had a few minutes to come up with a costume after they'd hidden his last one, and he could only think of pumpkins...

::Caree stomped her way to Jimmy and whacked him::

"That's for being.... you!" ::she said and glared at him:: "And no whomping the owl, it's an official rule, okay?"

:: Jimmy rubbed his head tenderly, before glaring up at Caree. He picked up a ladle, spooning a generous, slightly over the top amount of spiked punch into the glass before handing it to her. ::

"Here, try the punch, I hear it's great!" He exclaimed, wishing he had his book bag at the ready for a good old fashioned whomping.

::She gave him a suspicious look and narrowed her eyes more::

"What, you're trying to get me all wee? DREAM ON!!" ::Caree laughed and threw the punch at him. This made her grin even more::

"Uh oh...." ::she muttered, her grin slowly fading as she stared at Jimmy who was now covered in punch:: "I didn't think this through...."

:: Jimmy took a few moments to look himself up and down, grinning evilly, before launching himself at Caree ::

"Fancy dancing? Don't mind the wet clothes, they'll dry eventually" He said, smirking as every part of Caree he came in contact with immediately soaked through. "Come on, I know this song!"
