The Hogwarts Halloween Dance

"hey" ::prinny yelled at castledown:: "i'm the pumpkin!" ::then prinny broke into tears because cas stole her costume AND carr threw away the punch!::

::Caree tried to struggle away from him, but failed::

"You just can't leave me alone?" ::she said and smirked, trying to pull away again:: "You're being rude, evil, self-centered and.... EVIL!!!" ::Caree said, not coming up with anything else to say.::

:: Noticing she was thoroughly soaked now, Jimmy pulled away, flashing her a grin before casting a quick Scourgify on himself as he made his way back to the table.

"I'm in Ravenclaw for a reason, you know!" He turned then to Prinny, before smiling apologetically. "Heh, erm, if it makes you feel better, I'm not a very good pumpkin...and well...we don't know what Caree is anymore."

::prinny...in dire need of more of the punch (which she spiked) conjured up some more. then getting the un spike punch she spiked that too...leaving the sign there::

"hee hee"

::She stood fuming on the dance floor, her costume dripping of punch...::

"ARRRRRGH!!!!" ::she screamed in frustration and did the drying spell at herself, but still fuming:: "Idiot...." ::she muttered and stomped to an empty table, still glaring at Jimmy while plotting a revenge in her little twisted mind...::

::prinny went to jion car at her table:: "its ok....hes stupid. i mean he agreed to marry me but then didnt even know! ugh!"

::Caree was still muttering curses under her breathe as Aliza joined her. She sat with her arms crossed and glared at Jimmy, not even blinking::

"I know, Aliza, I know...." ::she growled::[/i]

::prinny decided to get some more punch (somebody stop me) and headed over to the table. on the way she bumped into her fiance (cas) who STILL hadnt asked her to dance::

:: Jimmy looked over at Prinny, who seemed to be staring pointedly at him for some reason. He couldn't quite figure it out, she had her punch, she was at the dance...with a moment of epiphany, it dawned on him. That's what shewants... ::

"Hey, I picked up the Quidditch scores before I came down." He said, beaming enthusiatically as he rummaged in his pockets. "Wanna see?"

::prinny rolled her eyes at cas:: "men" ::she said under her breath, then ignoring cas she grabbed elana and began to boogie::

"Mental." Jimmy muttered under his breath, before turning round to face Caree again.

"So did you know, the Cannons have a new seeker...and..." he trailed off at the icy glare. "Oh, fine, I'll go dance." As he made his way over to the two girls however, he wondered if his version of "The Robot" was particularly suitable for the occasion.

::Being pulled from her conversation with her husband and Jenn, Elana waved to them, mouthed, 'Be back later,' and turned to her sister as she began to dance.::

"Something wrong," she asked, concerned because of the look on Prinny's face. She looked around her with her emerald eyes open for something or someone that could have caused Prinny's anger, and saw a young man with what looked like the latest Quidditch scores. Immediately interested, Elana stopped dancing, grabbed Prinny's hand and walked over to the guy who she recognized as Jimmy.::

"Hey!" Elana said excitedly. "Is that what I think it is? Quidditch scores? I just love Quidditch." she said, beaming, pointing at the paper in his hand.::

"Yeah!" He exclaimed, slightly thankful for the excuse not to re-enact "Saturday Night Fever" in the Great Hall. "Who's your team? I'm a Puddlemere fan myself. Prinny, you a Quidditch girl?"

::Caree finally gave up, trusting that Aliza would whack him when needed. She made her way to the drinks, glancing at Jimmy coldly before taking a glass of the punch. As she sat down, she watched everyone on the dance floor, taking sips from her punch every now and then. She couldn't help but smile at Aliza's dancing, hoping that Jimmy would finally get the hint...::

"oo yay! quidditch!" ::prinny said sarcastically:: "its only fun if your playing" ::then grabbing the quidditch scores she ran across the hall::

::Elana gasped, shocked, and took off after Prinny.::

"Appleby Arrows," she said to Jimmy who was running after Prinny as well. "Just wanted to see if they won the match this afternoon. Hard to run in these heels- wait, I'm a witch, duh," Elana said. She stopped running and pulled out her wand. "Accio Quidditch scores!" she cried. They zoomed towards her open hand. Elana scanned the paper quickly, and finding the Arrows gave a whoop of excitement. She punched the air with a fist. "Goooo Arrows! Beat Pride by sixty!"

::prinny began running away from elana and cas who were following her. noticing that elana had pullled out her wand and held to the scores tight. when elana accioed them the sheet ripped and only half flew to elana's hand::

With a frown as he noticed the Puddlemere scores were on the other side of the sheet, he offered a smile to Elana.

"Congratulations. We're still gonna flatten you next week, of course, but congratulations." He winked before his fellow Ravenclaw could whomp him, before hurrying over to Prinny. "Hey, wanna dance? I think there's a couple of people out to get me now, and well, you're a brave Gryffindor right?" He chuckled nervously. "Protect me?"

"what? you only want me to dance with you so you can get protection? ugh!" ::prinny whomped cas and walked over to elana, grabbing her she went to dance with carr::

"I deserved that." He muttered, before glancing in the direction of Caree, then at the punch, and back again as he grinned evilly.

::Caree's eyes widened as he saw Jimmy and quickly dragged Aliza and Lana to the dance floor::

"Let's dance, shall we!" ::she said cheerfully and staretd to dance::

::Over her shoulder towards the running Jimmy, she called, "Yeah, you wish! We'll beat you, just wait!"

::Supressing the urge to run after him and whomp him (lol, whomping, whacking...oh the glorious chat we have XD), she stuffed the Quidditch scores in the hidden place of her dress where her wand was also stored. But just as she was about to go back to Drake and Jenn, Prinny came rushing back towards her. Before Elana could say anything, Prinny had grabbed her arm and dragged her over to Caree.::

"Hey Car," she said with a laugh. "Saw you and Daddy earlier, wonderful dancing."

::She began to dance, grinning, and hoped that all would be ok with Jimmy and Prinny soon.::

Drake stood there on the dance floor now, alone, blinking in confusement. "Righty-o then." He scratched his head and looked back at Seamus, who still had his wand pointed at him and he sighed, going over and getting some spiked punch.

::Caree glanced at Boggy and smirked to Lana::

"Your hubby is here!" ::she said and twirled around to the music::

::prinny glanced over to the punch table. just one more glass she thought as she staggered over, still dancing::

::Caree followed Aliza, looking carefully around so that she wouldn't run into Jimmy::

"Hey Aliza!" ::Caree greeted cheerfully and took another glass of punch:: "Having fun?"

"Yep. See you two later," Elana said, smiling at Caree and Prinny. She walked over to the punch and Drake.::

"Sorry about that, girl stuff to try and sort out," she said with a look over at Prinny. "Hopefully it'll all work," she said as she helped herself to some punch. And hopefully this is the punch that hasn't been spiked. Oh well, she thought as she drank the glass.::

::A strange tingling that began in her stomach told her that the punch was spiked. Giggling, she took Drake's hand. "Come on, let's dance!"

Dancing stoped dancing and headed over to the punch table. Where Pinny was having another drink. She grabbed a glass herself and downed it.

She felt...strange...she looked at the sign which read Not spiked. But Dancing felt funny.

"Pinny," she said, "You spiked this kind to, didn't you?"

Pinny didn't answer she didn't seem to be listening.

"Pinny I'm sorry but this must be done. Aguamenti!" And water swirted out the tip of her wand.

::She shrugged and sat down, starting to build a tower of the empty glasses::

"I'm really bored...." ::she muttered and concentrated on her towe::

Having intended to make his way over to his somewhat estranged fiancee, her less-than-cogent manner apparent to those nearby, Jimmy started suddenly as Dancing let loose with a spray of water from the tip of her wand. Before he knew it, his feet were catching on the hem of his robes, sending him flying backwards into an inappropriately placed tower of glasses. He groaned as he lay amongst the ruins of the once-great edifice, his back sore from the fall.

"What idiot...oh..." He looked up, to see Caree glaring furiously down at him, her hands firmly placed on her hups. "Hi Caree..." He offered with a weak smile.

"Hey Jimmy," Dancing wandered over to Jimmy. "Want to dance?"

Jimmy glanced at his sopping wet fiancee, then back at Dancing, then at Caree, who looked ready to kill.

"I think I'd better go check on Aliza, sorry Dancing." He replied, muttering a few quick reparo and wingardium leviosa spells to reinstate the tower. He flashed Caree a smile, and hurried off, but not before silently casting an eyebrow-colour changing spell in her direction.

He who laughs last, laughs the longest, after all.

"Kay," Dancing said. "Maybe later."

And she made her way back over to the punch table where she drank a whole gallon of skiped punch.

"That's it, i'm done!" ::she announced, standing up and stomping to the door:: "It was nice, very lovely indeed, goodbye!" ::Caree said calmly, and stormed out muttering darkly....::

Dancing waved goodbye to Caro and sat drinking some more punch.

::Sneaks back in, blushing furiously::

"...I'm too bored to leave" ::she muttered and sat down at an empty table, trying to hide from everyone::

Jimmy approached Caree's table sheepishly, putting a glass of punch on the table before her.

"Sorry about the tower...and the...you know..." He trailed off, pointing to the eyebrows. "Although, yellow is your colour..." At her scathing glance, he blushed. "I guess I'd better go find my drunkard of a fiancee."

::She grinned widely and motioned him to sit down::

"I'm bored, and i'm actually asking you to save me from the boredom" ::she laughed and sniffed at her punch.:: "Is this spiked?"

"Hey Caro Your back, Couldn't resist the greatness in here huh?" Dancing sat And downed another glass of Spiked punch.

Total gussled glasses of punch: 15 before amber got me with the water and 18 after so a grand total of, *Counts on fingers and toes after running out of fingers to count on.*

"32 *hic* I mean 33!"

Jimmy sat down, checking his seat first for faulty legs or...anything sharp...

"Is anything not spiked here tonight?" He grinned, raising his glass. "Cheers."

"Cheers" ::she muttered and took a large sip from her glass:: "Soooooooooo, here we are, getting bored and nothing else to do.... how sad is this? Where's your wife anyway?" ::Caree asked and looked around for a sign of Aliza::

"Drunk." He replied simply. "Actually, recovering." He glanced over in her direction. "I'm just gonna wait for her to dry off." He sighed, rolling the glass around his hand. "So how about those Cannons?"

::Caree shrugged and hit her head to the table, but sat up immediatly rubbing her head:: "They're my favourite team, why?" ::eyeing him suspiciously again:: "Don't say it's your favourite team too!?" ::she exclaimed.:: "In that case, i might change team...." ::she grumbled and leaned her chin to her hand and stared into space::

"The Cannons, will do okay but they are not gonna beat the torandoes." Dancing sat. "Any one want some more punch?"

"Keep it coming," Jimmy replied, gratefully taking the cup off Dancing before rolling his eyes at Caree. "I'm a United supporter. You can keep them. Besides," He looked down at his attire, "I don't think orange is my colour."

"Don't roll your eyes at me! The Cannons rock!!!" ::she laughed, hitting him playfully::

"Yeah, you try, I guess that's something." He grinned cheekily. "Oh, um..." He flicked his wand at her, returning her eyebrows back to her normal colour. "There you go." With a grimace, he took another sip of his punch. "I swear this is five parts liquor to one part water."

Dancing laughed and drained her glass number 36. Got another one and sat again. "But really do you really think*hic* the Cannons are even gonna get far In the game, they are always falling behing."

She took a sip"Now the Toradoes*hic* they are a team."

"Haha, that was very thoughtful of you!" ::Caree said grinning:: "Saving the damsel in distress..." ::she said sarcastically and faked to faint::

"Pfft," Jimmy replied. "The Tornadoes couldn't hit a bludger if it was bright pink and screaming. They seriously need to change their beaters. Their keeper though...man, he's good." He smiled, turning to Caree "And I know, you can call me Lancelot."
