The Winter Ball

Dani headed back to the table ignoring the comment Zex had made. She handed a butterbeer to Vale and opened hers, she opened hers with to much force and the bottle fell over the liquid splattering over the table.

Pulls his wand out

"Accio Tissues!"

Tissues float to them, Zexion grabs them with his free hand and tosses them to Dani

Dani's face flushed red and she wipped up the liquid as best as she could.

Sandy was a little bit worried, "Dani are you ok? you seem a little bit off today..."

"Yeah, um just fine." She muttered her voice darker than normal.

He nods, agreeing with Sandy

"Its true."

"Is something wrong?"

Sandy suddenly got it, " Dani you couldn't." 'She mad at me for getting together with Zex.' She glared at Dani," well if that's how you want to be about it fine!"

Dani gave her a stupid look, "How I want to be about what?!"

Looks between the two girls

"I'm obviously missing something here.."

Dani smiled at him, "No nothing, just something about something earlier." She gave Sandy the'shut up face'

Dani felt like such and idiot.

" Ya sure Cuz you just have to be like that. Thanks a lot." Sandy sniffed She Still liked Zex.

He frowned

"Anytime either of you want to explain this..."

Sandy sniffed, "Dani always has to have things her way, and she's never comtemp with one thing for to long." Sandy glared at her cousin, "the worst of it is that she never thinks of the feelings she going to hurt once she gets her prize."

Sandy smiled weakly, "ya i guess so, sorry i just get insurcure sometimes. You know your actully my first boyfriend, so i'm probably as new to this as you are..." Sandy paused, 'oh great nice going Sandy why don't you just pore out your heart and soul and frighten him away?' Sandy shooked her head and gazed lovingly back at him. "But anyways i'm glade that you love me." She shyly pecked him on the cheek.

He smiles nodding, as dinner appears on the buffet

"Well, I'm getting a little hungry, going to go get myself some supper."

He walks over to the table to put, a slice of meat on and a carrot

Comes back to the table and sets his plate down, beginning to eat.

Sandy looked at him then the table, and got herself some food too, and sat by Zex to eat it. she hadn't had anything since that apple that morning so she was starving.

After much thought Oddie decided that she would go and join the party and might even get something to eat. As she enter she saw Zexion and walked over to him

"Hey, how are you?" Oddie asked as she grabbed some food to eat

Sandy looked up "Hey Oddie i'm ok I guess..."

"Whats wrong" Oddie asked sensing that something was wrong

"Hello, Oddie."

He replied

Sandy smiled, "Not much just alot of stuff happening an all." She sighed then looked at Zex who was still eating.

"Hey Zexion, having fun at the dance" Oddie asked bordom showing in her voice

"TRhat good" Oddie says replying to what Sandy said. "Are you having a good time Sandy"

"I suppose so,"

"Are you?"

"Ya i think so.: She smiled, "thanks for asking.

"Well i guess ill try to find something fun to do or something and leave you two alone" Oddie said once again bordom showing in her voice

Sandy nodded and smiled pleasantly.

Dani gave Sandy a stupid look. "I do not get everything I want" She snapped and hurried out of the Hall. Leaving her shoes under the table.

"You do too..." Sandy muttered, so that only she could hear it.

After leaving Sandy and Zexion to themselves Oddie decided that she would go for a walk around the castle since the dance was starting to become a bit boring. Once she was out of the great hall she went to the ravenclaw dormentoy to get out of the black, long sleved dress she was in. Oddie hated wearing dresses and tried not to wear them.

Yawns

"I'm gunna go check on Dani."

Walks out of the room to go find her

"Ok" Sandy said smiling, but frowned, "Um Maybe i should come with you..."

After changing into her robes she decided to go and search for something to do. First she went back to the dance to grab something to eat. As she enter people were staring because she wasnt wearing a dress but she didnt care. Oddie grabed some chips and made her way back out of the party and decided to go to the second floor to she if there was anyone around to talk to

Half turns around

"If you want to."

Heads for the door again

Sandy follows, "Maybe i was a little Harsh on her."

Dani headed out of the door a tear falling from her eye. she heard footsteps behind her.

"Partez Sandy, ne pas vous voyez que votre me faire se sent stupide comme ci comme ça." She snapped back at her in french.

Translation:Go away Sandy, can't you see that your making me feel so so stupid.

Oddie saw that Dani was saying something wierd and decided to go and check things out.
"Whats up" she asked as she was that Dani was crying

"C'est pas seulement Sandy...Vous deux..Vous connais le francais?"

He sighs

"Seeing as we can all speak french, can we go back to english?"

"What's wrong, Dani?"

"Ok?" Oddie asked not knowing french. "I dont know french" Oddie added"But whats wrong Dani" She added

Dani slumped against the wall crying, and the song Secrets~American Girls. Started to play in the background.

"Her!" She yelled pointing at Sandy. "That's what's wrong!"

"Be a little more discriptive, Would you?"

Sits down beside her

"What did she do" Oddie asked trying to comfort her. "she couldnt of had done something that bad." she added

Dani rested her head on her knees. She couldn't explain it, so she just told the story. Mumbling about lies and truths and a fight and a butterbeer and hogsmead she finsihed. "I was only being a good person, trying to give her what she wanted. But she threw it back in my face."

"Oh my" Oddie said "Well can you two try to work things out" Oddie said

He sighs

'Never knew so much trouble could come from relationships..' He thought to himself

"Don't worry about it..You know what you were trying to do was right, Don't you?"

Looks at Sandy for a moment then back at Dani, putting an arm around her shoulder

"Don't cry.."

But Dani just kept crying harder turning to cry on his shoulder.

"Yea everything will be ok" Oddie added

Awkwardly hugs her, then pats her on the back, twice.



Lets go, then gets up, and puts a slightly smirk on his face, pulling out his wand.

"Orchideous!"

A large bouquet of flowers appear out of his wand, and in front of Dani
