The Winter Ball

He stiffles a laugh

"I'd like to try to see you live my life."

He shrugs

"Everyone makes their own desiscion in life. If those guys decide, they actually have something to live for, fine, they can. Others, on the otherhand, may not have anything to live for. And therefore, simply do not feel a need to exist."

"Your depressing," Dani said.

"I find it conforting that someone feels the same way, maybe we could kill each other...that could be our purpose here.." Sandy said again think out loud.

His mouth remains a line, no smile, no frown, no emotion.

"I'd rather not talk about it though."

Dani stood up, they were making her depresed.

"Leaving?"

"Fine i'm just thinking aloud..."

Dani looked between the two of them, "Your to..morbid." She said

"Morbid?" Sandy said confused, "What that supposed to mean?"

"It means, sad, depressed, emotional, sensitive..Gloomy, those kind of things"

"Exacally." Dani stated.

"Oh thanks." Thanks a lot walking dictionary. Sand thought angerly. "Um I'm going to see if anyone wants to dance." She said excusing herself, but actully just went back to her dorm to find out the perfect way to really get back at Zex.

"See you."

He frowns at Dani

"You really think so?"

"yes, I do. Killing yourself is extreamly morbid." She said

Sandy thought to herself still ploting and brainstorming.

"People have their reasons."

He flings his arms out at his side

"But anyways."

Puts them back

"Let's discuss something else."

"Why have a reason?" Dani asked

"One, If I didn't have a reason, I wouldn't be doing this, and two, that reason is none of your concern."

He glances around the Ball room

"Why don't you go try and find Vale?"

Sandy was still brain storming...

"I'll leave if you want me to, you don't have to beat around the bush!" She snapped, and she stood up and left.

...

I didn't mean it that way.

He decided not to chase after her, but slump down on the table, and burry his face in his arms

Sandy still brainstormed about how to do away with him.

Dani spotted the refreshment table and made a beeline for it, grabbing one of the bottles of firewhisky, she started to chug it.

Dani stopped and dropped the bottle she was holding, it was happening again, she was getting another vision. Before it over took her to much she ran out of the room,

Dani slumped against the wall, her eyes going hazy, and she started to see the images of the future, the fire, the evils, being saved, and dying.

"...."

Follows her up to there, walks over, and shakes her

"Dani? Are you alright?"

Dani started to speak not to his words, "It's happening, she tried to kill me almost did, but he stopped her, he saved me from her. But it was to late, he couldn't save me."

Sandy suddenly fainted and had a dream, fire, evil, And Dani...dieing. "NO!" She shouted suddenly, then quickly looked around, she had to get to Dani as fast as she could!

Shakes her harder

"Dani, snap out of it!"

Glances around, then smacks her, hard, across the face

"Stop!"

Sandy saw Zex slap Dani "Extomious!" She yelled and blood began to slurt from his nose. "Dani, oh my gosh did he hurt you? Dani are you ok? Dani don't die on me Dani not now, Not right now! DANI!" She grabbed her and rushed to the hospitable wing.

Dani didn't move, "No! You wern't supose to know!" She said and ran for it fast down the hall.

"Gah!"

"The F***!? I was trying to help her!"

Tilts his head up

Walks after Dani

Dani ran and ran until she reached the grounds and out the door, she trasformed into her wolf form and ran.

"What's it to you!?" She said coldly. As she ran after her cousin. "What do you mean i wasn't supposed to know!"

Deciding he won't go out into the wilderness after her, especially in his state, he turns back to Sandy

"Great job."

Dani heard voice's calling her name but she still ran, until she reached the forest.

Sandy run faster, morphing into wolf to catch up. soon she was running beside she, she just looked at her. The look in her eyes told her to get on.

Dani reached the forest and changed back, running still she leaned against a tree, "No...they wern't supose to know."

Sandy was still hot on her heels.

"What is it that we arn't supposed to know?" Sandy said quietly behind her.

Dani jumped on hearing her cousin's voice. "That I'm going to die!" She said

Sandy just stood there, "so what's new? I've been seeing it for months, it just that i'd forget when i'd wake up. Ever wondered why i was acting strange? I get like that when i've seen something that i don't like. The entire family has the gift Dani, you just need to know when to reconigze it."

"yeah, a /gift/." She said. "More like a curse."

"It depends on how we treat it... like life! It can be a gift or a curse, depeneds on the person, and their out look on the matter."

Sky Summers sat at the table by the door waiting for one of her friends to come into the ball.

*Scarlet sits there not saying a word, she could hear Zexion heart beat and see his blood, her body was telling her to jump on him and just do what any normal vamp would do but her head was saying no but then her heart and brain clicked to gather and then grabbed Zexion by the arm and pulled him out of the great hall.*
"What are you doing to yourself?" she asked

Sky spotted Scarlet and went over to sit with her. "Hey, what's up?" She asked.
