2ND HOUSE QUIDDITCH MATCH - RAVENCLAW VERSUS HUFFLEPUFF

This is the post for the first match of the season, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw

Rules of the post:

Only Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw house quidditch teams may post in here (rpg only)
plus Cill - the commentator!

NO ONE ELSE!!

The posts can begin on Saturday 11th March- NOT BEFORE
and will end on Wednesday 15th March - 5 days of rpg posting!

WHEN YOU POST - PLEASE PUT YOUR POSITION AND TEAM (IE: gRYFFINDOR BEATER) IN BRACKETS BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE RPG POST OTHERWISE YOUR POST WILL BE VOID OF ANY POINTS!

(Ravenclaw Chaser)
::Yun Yun Flies out onto field and catches the quaffle after its released and dogdes the Hufflepuff chaser heading her way,She passes it carefully onto Bananakiwi::

(Hufflepuff Beater ^^)

:MarieC is flying around the quiddich pitch. She sees Yunnie going very fast toward the Hufflepuff Keeper. She looks around and smile when she sees a bludger coming toward her. With all her strenght, she hit the bludger toward Yunnie, but then as the heavy ball goes toward her opponent, her smile disappear:

"Sorry about that Yunnie!" she shouts worriedly

Quidditch commentator


"hello, hello, and welcome to the HUFFLEPUFF versus RAVENCLAW game! The only raven who appears to have wings is So_yun , who is flying around the pitch, looking healthy. The only badger in the air so far is Marie- christiane, who is quick to send a bludger towards soey in an unhealthy way! she looks worried as the bludger is speeding towards her opponent.."

(Hannah-Cecilia, what's with the full name thing?)

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Roman notices the bludger heading for So_Yun at high speed. Bat in hand he heads for her as fast as possible, hoping he can get there in time. With a quick swoop up behind Yunny he turns and whacks the bludger back the way it came, towards MarieC:

(Ravenclaw Chaser)
::Gives Roman and grateful nod and squints at Marie!!!::lol

(Hufflepuff beater)


"Arrrrrgh!"

:She screams as she see the bludger coming toward her. She close her eyes and throw it away without looking. When she opens her eyes, she see that the bludger almost knocked down one of her team:

"Ehhh... sorry"

(I'll refer to myself as Ginny, the Hufflepuff Chaser!)

Ginny noticed the Quaffle coming towards her, as she was flying next to bananakiwi. She sped up and caught it, surprised at herself. Using an extra burst of speed, she performed the Woollongong Shimmy, which was basically her zig zagging at fast speed towards the Ravenclaw keeper.

"Okay, just like softball, aim..." she murmured to herself, pulling her arm back, and throwing it.

:: YunYun waits patiently for the quaffle to come her way next to the goal hoops::

[Ravenclaw Keeper]

::kitkat paces the goal posts, her eyes constantly darting around the pitch. Her feet were cold as she sat tensly upon her broom awaiting the arival of the time where her keeper skills would be tested...::

Ginny grumbled and sped off towards the other end. Where in the world were all of the other Chasers?! She flew below Lily, and then shot straight up at Yun. Ginny quickly pulled her arm back and made to punch Yun, but stopped about a centimeter away from her nose. It wasn't illegal unless she made contact! Come on...drop the Quaffle... she thought.

:Marie noticed Yunnie so near the goal with the Quaffle in her hands. She looked around the quiddich pitch hurriedly and finally saw a Bludger in the middle. She rushed toward it and with all her strenght, sent it toward Yunnie:

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::It seemed as if Marie had it in for Yunny, but Roman had her back, once again he batted the bludger straight back to Marie before it hit his teams chaser::

:Marie avoided the Bludger again before sending an evil glare at Roman and stucking out her tongue at him:

::YunYun holds the quaffle in her hands and see marie out of the corner of her eye then speeds at the hoops and::
"GOAL"

(Jennifer Williams - replacement chaser for cookiemoster)

::Jennifer runs out to the Quidditch field to the referee and gestures toward the sky with her broom. Finally she smiles and get on her broom to join the game. She was the replacement for cookiemonster- chaser. When cookiemonster didn't show up for a few days, Jennifer had to jump into the game or Hufflepuff would have to forfeit. A few other members of the team didn't show up either. She hoped the replacements would get here soon.::

::She flies up into the air near the Hufflepuff goals and gives Just Ginny a thumbs up sign.::

::She scowled as Ravenclaw scored, but her mood lifted when she saw Jen. Ginny flew down near her, smiling.::

"Hey! Glad you could come. Shall we show those Ravenclaws what's what?" ::she asked iwth a chuckle. Madam Hooch threw the Quaffle again, and Ginny soon dashed after it, catching it easily. She did several loopdiloops and jerked her head towards the goal posts, winking at Jen::

(Jennifer chaser)
::Jennifer smiled and looped around the grounds and settled near the Ravenclaw goalposts.::

"Alright Ginny!" she yelled out "Fly like you did at practice!"

::She then made a whole bunch of circle motions with her hands followed by frantic pointing and weird hand symbols.::

"That means do it like we practiced!" Jen said with a laugh.::

"You got it!" ::Ginny replied flying in front of Jen and then chucking the Quaffle behind her back at her. Within a moment of her toss, she had to do a slothgrip roll out of the way of a bludger.:: "Hope that didn't affect my aim."

(Jen-Chaser)

::Jen caught it and made a quick dash towards middle center goal hoop. As the Keeper flies up to stop her, she suddenly drop the quaffle right into Ginny's hands.::

"Opps," She gave the keeper a huge grin. "I dropped it."

(Huffle beater)

"You go girls!! Woohoo!"

::Ginny caught it with a smile::

"Don't worry, Jen. I caught it for you." ::she catapulted the Quaffle through the goal::

"Woohoo!!!"

:Marie cheered as the Quaffle went through the goal, almost falling from her broom:

(SUBSTITUTE HUFFLEPUFF CHASER)

:throwing her pom poms away Flisan pulls out her broom to come in as a replacement for featherwinggirl. hoping deeply the official team members haven't all gone sick with the same kind of very rare sea food poisoning, she decided to neglect her position as head cheerleader and do her best to help her team win:

"BADGER CHEER!" she shouts as she circles up towards Ginny to congratulate her on her fabulous goal.

(Jen- Chaser)

::Jen laughed::

"Flisan! It's good to see you up here cheering!" Jen said as she twirled around in the air on her broom.::

(Flisan-Hufflepuff chaser)

"Come on, now girls! three chasers and a beater are enough to beat Ravenclaw four times!" Flisan shouts and holds out her hands to catch the Quaffle, ready to fight.

::Ginny chuckled.::

"Thank you ladies. Well, now that we have all three of us, let's give 'em the Hufflepuff hawks head!"::she chucked the quaffle to Flisan::

((Hufflepuff hawkshead-like a normal hawkhead, but the two outer chasers (me and jen) rotate around in a circle, helping to block flisan even more))

(Jen- Chaser)

"I still think it should be called the Hufflepuff Hawkhead Swirl/Twist." Jen joked as she flew up to cover Flisan on the right. Quickly rotating postions with Ginny as they flew towards the Ravenclaw goal once more.::

"So we're working on the name." ::she admitted, switching positions a couple times more:: "As long as we do it right...and I don't fall off my broom.."

(Flisan- Hufflepuff Chaser)
"You guys are great!" :she shouts, tucking the Quaffle under her arm and bending low over her broomstick, seeing the goal posts come closer. With the other two rotating around her she felt safe and protected. she knew her teammates would never let anyone or anything through to her. in fornt of her, the Ravenclaw keeper started circling around his goal posts nervously...:

"Careful, or our heads'll get too big!" ::Ginny warned with a smile, continuing her flying pattern although a bludger grazed her hand::

(Hufflepuff's beater)

:Marie noticed that the Bludgers were going closer to the Hufflepuff's chasers. She went next to them and threw both Bludgers at the other end of the Quiddich pitch:

"Thanks Marie!" ::Ginny said gratefully, although her hand hurt slightly::

(Jen- Chaser)

"Ok...ok.." Jen murmured softly as she flew around in circles by Flisan. "Now!"

::Jen flew right at the Keeper at a fast pace and pulled away at the last moment without touching her. This distracted the keeper enough to have Flisan throw the quaffle into the goal.::

"YES!!! Great play Captain!" Jen cheered as she raised her arms at Ginny.:: :cheers:

(Etta - hufflepuff new Seeker)

:throws off badger suit, summons broom and zooms straight at the ref with a big loving smile and sores off into the game, forgetting she's still wearing the badger head.:

"Come on girlies! Lets show them what we can do!!!!"

:FLying high above again, Etta sits in wait, watching vividly for any glimpse of the snitch, her eyes darting left to right, a flicker of gold shoots past her ear and whips her broom left, speeding after the flittering snitch:

((Chaser and Captain))

"Thanks, good job everyone! Whoo hoo! Let's get this partay STARTED! Etta's here!" ::Ginny shouted, flying over to great their seeker.:: "Glad you could come!" ::she turned back to the Chasers.:: "Okay, we could do Parkin's Pincer, if you want. I'm open to any suggestions."

(Etta hufflepuff Seeker)

"Ginny!" Etta shouted as she flew to her captain. "DO the badger dance! Confuse them! Oh my snitch!"

:Etta zones off after the snitch once more, narrowly missing marie's head:

"SORRY!"

: Zooming as fast as she could, hurtling towards the earth, Etta suddenly realises she's chasing a golden coloured butterfly, quickly she pulls a Badger Freeze Frame and halts, 6 feet from the ground.:

"Ohhhhh that was close." She mutters to herself before throwing Cill her bager head so she can see clearly.

((HUFFLEPUFF CHASER))

"Do the what?" ::Ginny asked, surprised. However, she sighed and began doing the badger dance.:: "Um....when do I stop?" ::Ginny flew in some clever flying moves to make the dance seem more...interesting::

(ravenclaw chaser)
::YunYun flew so close behind lily that she could whisper into her ear::
"Reverse pass Lils" she whispered and waited

(etta hufflepuff seeker)

"GINNY! THE QUAFFLE!" Etta screamed pointing at Lily. "Stun her or something! Flirt with her! SNITCH!!!"

Etta zoomed staright towards te jugding table, smiled happily and tried to catch the snitch which was fluttering above Elfie's head...She missed, hitting the headmistress.

"Oooohhhhh Sorry!!!!!" Etta schreached as she flew high above, escaping her now sored headed headmistress and flying straight into Lily. "Ooops, sorry Lily, disnt see you."

Etta laughed as she roared back away from the game, sitting high in the air scanning the field for the snitch.

(ravenclaw chaser)
::YunYun holds quaffle tight and throws it hard and accurately through the hoop and she high fives Lils and screams their victory song::
"GOAL"

(Etta hufflepuff Seeker)

Etta noticed that the Ravenclaw seeker was no where to be seen on the pitch and smiled inwardly, she could do all she wanted and still catch the snitch, she just ahd to find it, again. Deciding that the crowd wasnt making enough noises, she pushed hard on her broom and flew directly at the crowd.

"Give me an E!" SHe shouted and the crowd shouted back at her "Give me a T! Give me another T! ANd now an A! What do you get ETTA!"

Finally happy that she had done her bit for the crowd, Etta returned to the game smiling and once again she spotted the snitch.

::YunYun speeds around field and watches Lily eagerly in the centre waiting for the quaffle to go back up::
"GO LILS" She shouts
