Weather: Bright sunny day on the quidditch pitch. Temperature in the low 70s, a strong wind picking up from the east and slightly cloudy, not a raindrop in the sky.

Notes: Welcome to the first match of the Quidditch Cup! Good luck to all players!

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Katie saw Cris and June embrace, and then June look at Katie and motion towards Aliza. She was very confused, but guessed that she meant to do a play with Aliza. So Katie spun around and looked for Aliza, and saw her about half-way down the pitch. Katie turned and joined her, asking, "What play should we do?"

(Hufflepuff Reserve Chaser)

Looking around the pitch Ingrid saw that Etta was getting fussed over by the medi-witch. Seeing that she was fine, Ingrid looked towards the Gryffindor huddle: they were up to something. Frowning at them, Ingrid realized that one of them still held the quaffle. Sulking, she circled around the group keeping an eye on them

(Hufflepuff BEater)

Etta jumped back onto her brom and whizzed off into the air, zig zagging and singing as she went. No-one wold be surprised that Hufflepuff Captain had just swallowed a ton cheerfulness potion thinking it was butterbeer.

"The hills are alive with the sound of bludgies," Etta sang as she rounded on a Bludger and the huddled Gryffindors. "ChimChiney ChimChiney that how it goes, When Etta has a bludger she'll keep you on your toes, oh........"

Doing summersault in the air, Etta raised her Beaters Bat and tilted her head to the left, her tongue lolled lazily out of her mouth as she attempted the Smash and Grab.

Checking Dragon and the other Chasers was paying attention, Etta nodded in the direction of the three Chasers and smiled. With her bat raised, Etta brought it crashing down onto the Bludger and watched as it whizzed across the pitch and directly into the unsuspecting Gryffindors.

Watching carefully Etta heard the Gryffindors schriek as the lil bludger took them by surprise, she grinned as she saw the Quaffle fall into the arms of her waiting chasers. Only the Huffles knew which chaser had the quaffle as they raced towards the Gryffindor Goals.:

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

June watched from high above as Etta's bludger hurtled towards her friends. Oh no! She was too high to stop it's progress... She breathed a sigh of relief as she realized that although the bludger went through Katie and Aliza, and although Katie had lost the quaffle, none of them were hurt. Petting her bat, June glared at the Hufflepuff Chasers. One of them had the quaffle... who was it?

(Gryffindor Chaser)

Katie shreiked as the bludger knocked the quaffle out of her arms.. missing her by inches. She cried and schock as her and her fellow chasers looked down, and saw the waiting Hufflepuff Chasers heading towards the Gryffie goal posts, but ti was impossible to tell whihc one held the quaffle. Katie rushed after them hoping to incerpt andy play they had prepared.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Thanks to June's speedy reaction and Madam Pomfrey's great healing, Cris was feeling fit again and was racing around the field with new found freshness - although, admittedly, her head was still buzzing a bit. She looked to the sun and let it caress her face. "Ahh, this is nice..", she thought, until realising that looking into the sun might blind her.. which might result in her not seeing the snitch, which might just mean Gryffindor would lose the game. She rubbed her eyes and looked down again, but she could still see the weird coloured shapes you get to see if you look at the sun too much. Between those, there was something else... soemthing shiny... was it? - no, it was too good to be true! (again xD) Determined not to let it escape again, she sped up until she could hear some twigs of her broom cracking. "Oupsss!, maybe I shouldn't overdo it!", she though, but still didn't let reason and care for her own safety slow her down. She had the impression of seeing the Hufflepuff Seeker somewhere nearby, but wasn't even sure whether she had seen the Snitch, too... in fact, the only thing she was sure of in that moment was that she had and therefore would, catch the Snitch. She just knew it - had that funny feeling in her stomach, that was confiremed by her getting ever closer - that she would this time succeed. Nevertheless, time seemd to pass too slowly, even though she knew that she was flying at an incredible speed and that it would later seem as a mere second. But then she finally was almost within reach of the desired Snitch. She reached out her hand, and with one last effort - she had it! The Snitch! She jubilantly flew around, showing it to the crowd, hugging her team ecstatically, then she landed. Someone - a member of the Gryffindor house - came towards the landing team, yelling, "Gryffindor dance on Friiiday!". The blissfulness!

(Gryffindor Beater and Co-Captain)

"YES!!!!!!!" June cried ecstatically. Cris had caught the snitch! The Gryffindor Seeker had caught the snitch! The snithc, the snitch, the snitch!!! June kept repeating that phrase over and over in her head and marveled at how wonderful it sounded. "Great job Cris!!!" June called and flew to her sister. She hugged her with one arm and waved all their other team members over for a little congratulations huddle on the ground. "Great job everyone!" she said, a grinning practically splitting her face, as they landed, "You all did wonderfully!" Suddenly, June heard a Gryffindor saying something about a dance. June nodded vigorously. "And Cris helped plan it, so YOU ALL BETTER BE THERE OR I'LL KNOW WHY!!!!!!"

This last shout (in CAPS, of all things) was directed at all the students. Wondering absently if anyone besides the people near her had heard her, June took her wand out of her robes and pointed it at her throat. "Sonorus," she said loudly and instantly, her voice was magically magnified. "EVERYONE!," June said, getting everyone's attention. "THERE'S A GRYFFINDOR DANCE THIS FRIDAY, AND YOU BETTER ALL BE THERE OR I'LL KNOW WHY!!! IT ISN'T LIMITED TO JUST GRYFFINDORS; EVERYONE CAN JOIN IN AND HAVE FUN!!!! ... IT'S IN THE CHATBOX AT 9 PM GMT ON FRIDAY!!!!!" That said, June murmured the counterspell and blissfully waved towards the Hufflepuff team. "Good game!" she cried, "You guys played really well!"

This game has now ended. Judges please send Elfie Dumbledore your scores as soon as possible.
