9th House Quidditch: RAVENCLAW V GRYFFINDOR: 4th - 8th

(Ravenclaw Beater)

"Oh not again." He groaned, glancing around desperately. There! About fifty metres away, he saw what he needed.

He knew his back was never going to forgive him for this workout, and by now he was seriously considering saving up for a more responsive broomstick as he leaned forward, thundering past the Gryffindor beater as she watched her bludger sail towards Lily. He banked sharply, coming now in the opposite direction from the other bludger. As he began to pass it, he let loose with another vicious lunge, forcing the ball to reverse direction. He watched then as it sailed towards its companion ball, curving with the wind as it knifed through the cold morning air. It approached, getting closer, closer...

"YES!" He shouted, one bludger grazing the other as they crossed each other's paths. He'd have preferred a direct hit, but the small impact still threw Amber's ball off course. With another push on his broomstick, he angled the broom downwards to intercept Lily as she flew past, flying to the side of her wake as his poor broom struggled to keep up with hers.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber smiled. For she knew that no one else knew what she knew. Which is exactly what the Gryffindor Chasers had planned.::

"Oh just wait," ::she said aloud to no one in particular.::

"There's Jimmy of Ravenclaw and Amber of Gryffindor and they are brutally smacking those bludgers around. There's Lily and she retrieves the dropped quaffle and she is really moving down the pitch towards Gryffindor's goal and...WAIT Amber sent a bludger and it's sailing right at lily! OH NO!"


"WAIT Jimmy's just sent the other bludger to strike amber's and YES! A Spectacular witty move by Jimmy! he saved Lily from getting hit and she's going on towards Gryffindor's goal!"

"Uh oh...I don't like that look on Amber's face. We can only guess Gryffindor has something sneaky up their sleeves! Reminds me of my own brilliant team~He grinned~

Commentator~

"And Lily has scored! A brilliant move and with help from jimmy she was able to successfully throw the quaffle in! I must say ladies and gentleman, that beater Jimmy is very tough. But so is Amber from Gryffindor. With only a day left of this game, one can only wonder just which team will win. It's going to be close!!" ~Jesse shouted into the mic~

(Ravenclaw Beater)

::Cheering as loud or maybe perhaps even louder than the next Ravenclaw, Elana had her hands cupped around her mouth and was screaming her lungs out. What a good game this was turning out to be. She flew closer to Lily and waited tensely to see who would get the Quaffle.::

(gryffindor chaser)

Traci smirked as she popped out of nowhwere it seemed she scare lily although enough for her to drop the quaffle. Traci caught it and headed to the Ravenclaw hoops to get in another score for gryffindor she looked around Made a risky shot and made it before getting the quaffle back and scoring to more times but missed on the third try

(ravenclaw chaser)

::as traci dropped the quaffle again, Lifey gained possesion and sped towards the gryffindor goals.::

::she kept her eyes opened and scanned the field for options....she had no play planned with her team::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber sat waiting, would the Gryffindor's go through with what they had planned or was she waiting in vain?::

"Well they'd need the quaffle first." ::she said wacking a bludger that was headed for her at Lifey.::

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Jimmy, who had taken up position guarding Lifey, intercepted the bludger and smashed it instead towards the Gryffindor lines.

"Got a plan, Lifey?" He shouted over the roaring wind, as they dipped and twisted through the air, moving ever-closer to the scoring zone.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Amber zoomed over toward the Gryffindors to which the bludger was heading and smashed the bludger back at Jimmy.::

"There is no way he can get the bludger almost everytime thats like impossible," ::she said aloud to the air surrounding her.::

(gryff chaser)

::prinny watched amber and jimmy hit the ball back and forth to easc other. she flew underneath lifey waiting for to grab the chance, however small, when the ravenclaws messed up::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL watched as Amber kept Jimmy occupied and raced to get the other bludger before Elana could.

She decided to give prinny a hand by scattering the ravenclaw chasers and releasing the quaffle back into gryffindor possetion::

(gryff chaser)

::prinny looked over at WL:: "great job!" ::she said and and grabbed the quaffle and sped off toward the other end of the pitch. with a ravenclaw on her tail she was unsure what to do and so she pushed herself flat on the broom, urging it forward and she sped into one of the ravenclaw goalpsts. suddnely she realised she was stuck. in the goalpost. the quaffle had sored through but she remained stuck, looking aorund in panic she yelled:: "HELP!"

(Gryffindor Beater - hi prinny!...remember the Gryff Chaser title thing!)

::WL smiled as prinny threw another goal, and gave her a tug to get her out of the hoop. With a pop, she came free and both of them sped towards the centre of the pitch, to where all the action was.

::WL gave prinny a hi5 and batted away a bludger as it came to try and upset her::

::Amy watched as aliza threw the quaffle through the goal, but then got stuck there herself. Frowning, Amy flew forward and scooped the quaffle up, trying to keep away from the Ravenclaw beaters.

She then took careful aim, and threw the quaffle with as much force as she could towards the goal with aliza stuck in it. The force of the quaffle dislodged the gryffindor, and she flew free, the quaffle soaring through after her.

Aliza was free and Gryffindor had another goal!::

::prinny felt a huge force on her back and she popped through the hoop. flying out she high-fived WL and flew back to the game::

Traci laughed as she atched the ctaion goin on she knew that was not what they has planned by hery the got two moew goals in TRaci flew fuul spped and got the quaffle just before a ravenclaw could she smiled and zoomed over to the hoop everyone was busy laughing so she easily got in another gaol

~Commentator~

"It's a rought game with Gryffindor giving it all they've got trying to hold the game with their teeth and paws but can they hold on long enough to be able to win? Ravenclaw's got this game held tightly in their talons! Who will win!? " ~Jesse shouted~
