Yule Ball

"I don't know. Try if you want," Raven said.

Riley cleared his throat.
"Well I er....I dont really know her that well,"
Holly bit her lip, unable to think of anything.
"Shadow....hogwarts.....black lake....Jamie...,"

"That was always her specialty." Raven said with a smile. Shadow stood up.
"I don't know who you're talking about, just leave me alone!" She said, starting to run.

Holly backed off quickly very surprised.
"What? Whats happening?" Riley asked.

Raven was on her feet and tackled Shadow to the ground.
"Shadow!"
"Raven, get off me!"

Riley and Holly stood abruptly at the same time, looked at each other confused and dashed to the aid of Raven.

Raven decided that she was going to give up on the gentle approach. She hit her sister round the head.
"Shadow! Get a grip! You're in another dimension at a school called Hogwarts and you're friends are here!" Shadow struggled against Raven.
"Let me go! Where's Arias?!" She said.
"Arias isn't here!"

"Who's Arias?" Holly asked Raven, attempting to restrain Shadow.

"High Priestess Arias, ruler of our dimension." Raven explained.

"Aaaah," Holly said, as Riley and George attempted to help her.

Shadow struggled against them, furious.

"Should we so something...or just give her space?" asked Natalie sadly.

Raven shook her head.
"We need to get her to remember quickly before Kar gets to her mind again and tells her that we're the enemy." She said.

"Shadow....WAIT!" said Natalie, and she started to say random words, "Natalie....Holly....Jamie....Dumbledore's army....The order....You-Know-Who....Dorothy...remember dorothy?"

"Where's Arella?" Shadow asked. This struck a nerve with Raven. She slapped her sister.
"Arella's dead! She died nearly ten years ago!"

Hayley, who had been a bit lost in this conversation, proceeded to get up, but weas unsure what to do. She and Jake stood a few feet back from the rumpus of people, and Hayley had panic welling up inside her. She looked down and wondered what on Earth would happen next.

"Shadow...its ok....we're your friends...remember?" Natalie said, grabbing Shadow by the shoulder, "you MUST remember...you must...please Shadow!"

Shadow finally managed to pull herself out of their grip, but Raven grabbed her again. Raven put her hands around Shadow's head, forcing her way into her mind. Shadow screamed, falling to the ground.

"Oh dear Goodness....well...it's for her own good, just don't hurt her," said Natalie, concerned.

"It's the only way." Raven said through gritted teeth. Shadow was fighting the invasion with everything she could, trying to pull away from Raven.

Holly was more scared than she had ever been.
Riley was panicking a little.
"What? WHAT? Shall we....what? MADAM POMFREY! DUMBLEDORE! JOEY!"
"Joey?" George asked Holly.
"His rat," Holly explained.

"Shadow...Raven knows best...don't fight it," said Natalie soothingly.

"Get her out of my head!" Shadow shouted, her eyes tightly shut. Raven refused to let go, driving deeper into her sister's mind.

"Shadow....Raven...stop...she might be her old self again!" Natalie said loudly.

Hayley nodded, agreeing with Nat. Shadow looked like she was in great pain, but as Natalie said, it was for her own good. "Is...is there anything I, we could do?" said Jake bravely.

"Break her concentration!" Raven said. Tendrils of magic were snaking from Shadow's hands, showing that she was about to lose control.

"CRAP!" yelled Natalie, "they're losing control...we need to stand back!"

Raven was thrown back by Shadow's magic, but she got back up again.

"Oh crap," said Jake and he grabbed Hayley's hand, dragging her behind him. They both tumbled onto the ground, about ten feet from there origional position. They sat up, wondering what would happen next. Hayley had never seen anything like this happen to Shadow, and was terrified, more than she'd ever been in her life. She grimaced with anticipation.

"Oh holy CRAP!" Natalie yelled, realising this was bad, "RAVEN!! GET OUT OF HER MIND!!"

Holly stood up obediently, and Riley pulled her back a little.
"Break concentration?" George repeated, "Someone do something!"
Holly looked around desperately, thinking.

Shadow threw her magic at Raven, who retaliated. They were locked in a battle, concentrating only on each other.

"George....can you transport us all somewhere safe...like a big squish room where they can't hurt anyone?!" NAtalie asked loudly, getting her wand and pointing at the girls.

"Do something!" Raven shouted. "Stun her or something!" Raven was struck by a bolt, thrown back to the ground. When she got up again, she was knocked down once more by a kick to the head.

Holly quickly sent a stunning spell at Shadow, whilst George took the arms of Hayley and Natalie, and attempted to transport them to the common room.

Natalie apparated back.

"I AM NOT LEAVING HOLLY BRISTOL!" Natalie yelled at Holly.

Hayley did the same, and yelled at Holly, "Me either! Come on!" she had no idea what to do next.

George panicked.
"You said transport people!" he said, but hurried back to Holly anyway.

The Stunner hit Shadow, and she crumpled to the ground. Raven stood up again, shakily, blood dripping slowly from a wound to the head.
"Thanks." She said quietly.

Hayley panicked, and held onto Jake's arm, glancing round making sure no one was seriosuly injured. She looked down at the stunned figure of Shadow, and took a wary step forward, to see of she was okay.

"I said all of us...including those two...to a soft room...NOT ONE WITH FURNITURE....ONE LIKE A GIANT SPONGE!" Natalie yelled over the loud bangs of spells.

Hayley nodded furiously, and said, "We should link arms, to transport us all safely,"

"Its alright," Holly said, "Shadows stunned now....,"
Riley let her walk to Shadows side.
"What happens now?" she whispered to Raven.

Raven stopped shaking and turned to Holly.
"I don't know."

"Oh right," said Hayley, clearly confused.

"She wouldn't....leave us...would she?" Natalie said, not wishing to use the actual word.

"No," Holly said quickly, "No....she wouldnt. She cant. No. She...wont,"
Riley put an awkward hand on her shoulder.

Hayley stood beside Holly for moral support, seeing that she wasn't taking this well at all. She also glanced over at Natalie, meaning to say she couldn't stand beside both of the suffering girls at once.

Natalie gave Hayley an 'I can walk you know." look and walk over beside the two girls.

"She won't leave us....I'm sure of it," said Natalie, "would you like a hug?" she asked the girls and Riley and George and Raven if she wants it.

Hayley smiled at Natalies look, and nodded at her, "I wouldn't mind one,"
