First topic message reminder :

Eliza walked in, wearing a floaty black and green gown trailing behind her. Entwined in her glossy black hair were threads of silver, with a white lily behind her ear. She looked around. No-one yet. The house tables were placed against the walls so the floor was clear for dancing and there was a stage where the Weird Sisters would play, no doubt. She wondered who else would come.

Elladora gracefully walked into the Great Hall, some magical work was obviously done on her dress, but only because she didn't like carrying layers of fabric her her kness. In the light of the dance floor, her icy blue, chopped up gown was still quite beautiful, and she had found the decency in her to chop off the bottoms of some pants and wear those instead of exposing all her legs.

As expected, when she walked in, the only person she could relate to was Hermione (and, boy, had she changed!) and Luna was no where in sight, so she went over to her friends who were conviently placed together. "Hey, everybody!" she greeted, a little over-the-top.

The song stopped and the music changed to a more up-beat one. Without a word, Eliza stood up and walked over towards the dance-floor.

Eliza danced to the end of the song then sat down where she had been sitting before, panting slightly with adrenalin.

Elladora grinned at her friends in the strange light. She was debating inwardly about whether she should eat first or dance. Trapped in her own confusion, she just noticed Eliza come sit down again. Elladora decided to have a drink first and then dance. Elladora cleared her throat and spoke directly to a cup. "Butterbeer, please."

Magically, the glass filled itself and Elladora drank thirstily.

Emmalynn had been walking around the hall, when she noticed Elladora come in. She meandered swiftly through the crowd and sat down in the chair next to her friend. Emmalynn grinned and poked her friend in the side. "Boo."

Alice entered the ball nervously. Her vivid scarlet dress was backless, tight to her calves where it flared into a vide ruffled train. The neckline plunged to her waist. She saw Emmalyn and Elladora sitting at a table through the crowd and went to join them. On her way through the crowd, she caught a glipse of Ralph, but the crowd pushed her to her original destination so Alice waved in his general direction. She was unsure if he had seen though. Once at her friends table, Alice took a seat. ''Hey'', Alice greeted them.

Natalie entered, holding herself not as she usually did, not all slouched under the weight of books, but taller somehow, and more graceful. She was wearing a flowing red and yellow winter-fire silk dress with a graceful lion embroidered on the back and carrying a small beaded bag. Around her neck she wore a golden lion pendant studded with rubies that spelled to word "best" on it (She was giving the "Friends" one to Holly.
Her hair was beautifully tied up, so that half of it was up, but some ringlets fell down.
She look around, and saw Alice, looking beautiful in her dress, and waved at her.

Phoenix heard that there was a dance to decied to attended. There was quite alot of people of whom Phoenix didn't recognize. So Phoenix sunk into the corner of the hall sunking.

Natalie noticed a new girl had arrived at the ball. She walked over to her.

"Hello," she said to the girl, "I'm Natalie....I'm a Gryffindor second year, whats your name?"

Phoenix saw Eliza and decied to join her, Phoenix came across new face of whom she didn't know of she introduced herself as Natalie.
"Hello" Phoenix noded in acknowledgment. "I'm Phoenix Rosenburg, first year slytherin. Nice to meet you" phoenix spoke grinning chearfully
