Yule Ball

"Hmm," replied Hayley quietely. She sipped her tea.

Shadow and Raven continued to converse quietly in their language, but it was starting to turn into an argument.

Hayley was silently hoping it wouldn't.

Shadow snapped something at Raven before walking out of the Great Hall, Raven shaking her head at her sister's retreating figure.

"Not good?" asked Hayley.

Raven shook her head.
"No, not good."

"My sister and I always fight," said Hayley.

"Good to know that we're not the only ones then." Raven said.

"I think everyone fights with their sibling, it's nature," Hayley replied half-smiling.

"Yeah, I suppose, ours always has disastrous consequences... especially when Arias found out." Raven said with a smile.

Hayley smiled. She would have asked what happened, but decided not to pry.

Natalie looked at Shadow.

"You look like you could do with a good nights sleep," she said kindly

Shadow threw a glare at Natalie and continued on her way. Raven's shoulder's slumped.
"I'd better go after her before she does something really stupid."

Holly watched the siblings only half listening, her mind on the nights events.

"Bye," said Hayley as the two siblings left. She turned to Holly. "I'm freakin wrecked," she said yawning.

"This night was wack," said Natalie, "wacky and weird."

"Totally," said Hayley sipping her tea. She looked at Natalie. "Tea?" she asked.

"Yes please...I could drink some tea," said Natalie, smiling gratefully.

With a flick of her wand, a steaming mug of tea was magicked into Natalie's hand. Hayley smiled. She looked round the Hall. "This party must have been great," she said frowning slightly. "This wasn't how I imagined my first Yule Ball," she said sadly.

"Aye....we had enough danger tonight to last us...what...a month," said Natalie, grinning.

Hayley smiled weakly. "I hope something like this doesn't happen any time soon," she said.

"Mmm...Hogwarts won't ever get boring," said Natalie, smiling at Hayley.

"If it did..." Hayley smiled, "It wouldn't be Hogwarts." Jake hugged Hayley, then said, "I'm gonan go, I'm wrecked," he smiled once more, then walked out of the door.

"Bye Jake," said Natalie after him.

Jake turned and waved politely before finally leaving.

"Aw. Hayley and Jake....never saw it myself," Holly said grinning.

Hayley laughed. "Tea, Coffee Holly?" she asked.

"Hol-ly, don't make this embarrasing for Hayley," said Natalie, smiling.

"It's cool," said Hayley smilling.

"Cool school," said Natalie.

"Yeah, i get away with most things," Holly reminded Natalie, "And no thanks Hayley, Im good,"

"Hot chocolate!" said Natalie when she had finished her tea, and a mug of hot chocolate appeared in from of her.

"How did I do that?" said Natalie is a mystical voice that resembled professor trelawney's.

"No one knows!" Holly said imitating her, "Its a riddle,"

Hayley laughed, finished her tea, and made the cup vanish with her wand.

Jamoki had walked into the Yule Ball. It had been his first time to the all ever. So he decided it would be best to try it out. As Jamoki was walking to the doors of the Great Hall which was were the Yule Ball was held at his Dress Suite (or what ever it is called) moved swiftly with him. Once he got to the entrance of the Yule Ball he gazed in amazment.

There had been icicles every where. It looked as if it was a land of Ice. He walked in and went to the table where there was some punch. He grabed a cup and got him some.

Hayley acknowledged the boy that had just walked in, wondering what he was doing when the Yule Ball had already finished.

Holly glanced in the boys direction.

Hayley shrugged at Holly. "Dunno," she mouthed.

"Shall we ask 'im who 'e is?" she asked in a cockney accent.
"Hello," she then called across the room, "Come sit down! Im Holly!"
She then glanced back at Hayley.
"Easy as sugar,"

"He might not come you know," said Hayley smiling.

"Hey...isn't he Roses BF?" Natalie asked.

"Oh aye..." said Hayley.

"Have you seen Rose tonight anywhere?" Natalie asked

"Me?" said Hayley, "No."

"Me neither," said Natalie, "perhaps he's looking for her."

"Hmm," Hayley nodded to Natalie. She saw another girl walk into the Hall. 'What's she doing? The Yule Ball is over...' she though to herself.

Hayley conjured yet another cup of tea, and yawned.

Holly glanced into the corner and noticed Phoenix. Being bored and all, she wndered over.
