Thoughts and Opinions Thread

First topic message reminder :

This is the thread where members can post their graphics creations for other people to see, and for thoughts and opinions to be given. Consider it a sort of 'showing off' thread, if you like, but also a place where you can receive constructive criticism for aspects of your graphic making.

Here's my latest graphic, just a simple colourisation, which I'm planning to put on the up for grabs section of my graphics site. My biggest problem with it though is, like always, the text. I'm not sure if it overpowers the image.

Umm i made this book mark for a competition any suggestions although the competition is over?

I think it is good, although the top car looks a bit squashed

Ooh, very nice, peoples! Cookie, I really like the second one, and Elana, I really like the first one. Though all the graphics are excellent, and really Elana I only use Paint.net for borders, so you're waaaay ahead of me on that one.

Oooh, I like that Streamies THe only nit-picky thing I have to say is that the words looks a little awkward the way it is... maybe have it all closer together and keep it the same font? Juuuust a suggestion

O_O and Elfie.... *bows* I am in such awe!!! I think I like the peaceful country setting the best, because lol it's so... peaceful! In the second and third, the flame seems to burn a bit too brightly and the lightning's a bit too... rapid.. for me, but I love them anyway!!! XD

^^Just made. I like it, but I don't like it. I think this is gonna be one of my love/hate ones. See I like how certain things came out, but dislike some. It probably would have been better, but I don't have my photoshop on this computer and am currently using one of those stupid free programs.

I just have two things

1. Carrie's shoulder in both pictures of her kind of irks me... the way the red color is solid and then kind of changes into the green is just... I dunno how to explain it haha. It just kind of looks weird.

2. The two fonts you used don't really fit together. Maybe make "Carrie Underwood" a tad bigger and change "so small" to a plainer font under it?

But see what other people think before you change anything. I don't really know what I'm doing here

I was trying to make a request for someone but got sidetracked and did this instead:

Wow, that is pretty good. The contrast between lift and dark is amazing.

However, it might just be me, but my eyes go directly to the writing. Sometimes letting the graphics speak for themselves is also good.

And, I personally would have liked to see a bit more blue in the highlights; mainly the eyes.
