HEBB 2 : Kitchen

Dani nodded, but she didn't say anything.

"If you need to talk, you can always talk to me." Shadow said, deciding not to push it.

"Its just so hard sometimes," Dani said looking up again and wipping her eyes again.

"I know, but nothing lasts forever, the good or the bad." She said gently.

Dani nodded and found that the tears had stopped, "Thanks Shadow."

"You're welcome." Shadow replied.

Dani made a move to stand up and felt her head, she felt light headed, she sat back down. She wipped her face again and pulled her hand back and looked at it, it was stainned black with masscara and eye shadow. She didn't want to think of what she looked like, "I'm a wreck."

"You just had an emotional breakdown, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You don't want to see what I look like after that!" Shadow said.

Dani shrugged and looked around for her sandwich and found it squished under a cabniet. "Yeah I guess." She rubbed her temples and stood up and almost fell again but this time managed to stay upright. Walking over to the sink she washed her face and grabbed a towel to dry it off with. "I should probably take my pills again." She said.

"It's up to you." Shadow said.

Chris walked into the kitchen, "Hey, how is evryone?' He asked.

"I think I will," she said looking at Shadow. Just as someone entered the room.

Dani glanced up and her face flushed, why did Chris have to see her at her worse. She turned her back and started rumaging in a cupboard over the stove where she'd put her pills when she first came to the house.

"Good," she called over her shoulder at the handsome Gryffindor.

"Good." Chris said, "Well I'll be going into the living room."

Kaitlyn walked into the kitchen quit hungry and decided to have a sandwich... " Mmm this will be great." She said as she started to make one.

Shadow started to cough violently and ran out of the room.

Dani was tempted to follow her friend but decided not to. After taking her pills she went back outside to the pool.

Chris walked into the kitchen from outside. He grabbed a water and started to drink it.

Pamela walked into the kitchen and saw Kaitlyn making up a sandwich. "How's it going?" Pamela asked, as she helped herself to a bottle of water from the fridge. She stood there sipping it for a while, then she decided she would make herself a bowl of Cheerios.

It was about an hour later that Dani reentered the kitchen she saw Chris over by one counter and froze up, she relaxed a little bit and adjusted her sarong, and walked over to him.

Resting her elbow on the counter, she looked at him and said, "I hope this doesn't change our friendship."

Violet was by the door, watching Chris, trying not to smash his face in.

"Oh no it doesn't. It has happened to me before." Chris said, "But she is still my friend."

Violet glared. "She? She! Who is she?" Violet yelled.

"Her name is Elizabeth." Chris said.

"Her name is Elizabeth, well this is fist and she wants to kiss your face." Violet yelled, holding up her fist.

"I'm sure she does." Chris said.

Violet glared at Chris. "I really want to punch you."

"Yes, I know." Chris said. Chris walked over to the fridge and grabbed a water. He opened it and then took a sip.

Dani sighed, she was always very good at bringing out the worse in others, she fingered the scars on her arms silently dwelling on them.

"Excuse me." she said leaving the room, heading down the hall towards the bathroom.

"Look what you did." Violet said to Chris. "She spilled her heart out and you act like that." Violet said.

"Me, you were the one who wants to punch people." Chris said, "And I just don't feel the same way about her."

"Well you could have been nicer about it." Violet said. "Who do you like, Polly?" Violet asked.

Chris walked out of the kitchen.

"Dont you ran away fro me Chris Potter." Violet yelled and pushed him into a wall. "You go adn tell her sorry."

Chris turned around, "Your not the boss of me and I don't have to do anything."

"I said do it. You hurt her feelings." Violet said.

"You think I'm going to do it because you said so. I don't think so." Chris said, "I'll say sorry when I want to."

"Fine then, when we find her death on the bathroom floor, I hope you feel bad." Violet said before pushing Chris into the wall to go by.

"Women." Chris said. He walked out of the kitchen into the living room.

Pamela walked into the kitchen. She rummaged through the pantry and found some Earl Grey. Then she put a kettle of water onto boil.

Violet sat at the bar while Pam fixed the tea. "Need any help?" Violet asked.

(actually, as it turns out, I'm still here. Thought my cab was here. I'll probably disappear abruptly)

"Nah, I'm good. What kind of tea do you want?" Pamela replied. After a little hunting, she found some sugar. Grabbing two cups, she add some sugar to her own. "Do you want sugar?"

"A lit bit of sugar please." Violet said.

"Okay," Pamela said dropping a teaspoon of sugar in. "That good? There's the water; what kind of tea would you like?"

"Doesnt matter." Violet said.

"Okay then," Pamela replied, popping in a bag of earl grey. After i had steeped a bit, she handed it to Violet. "Here you are," she said, pulling up a stool at the bar.

Violet took a sip and set it back down. "So, whats up?" Vioet asked her

"Well, not much really," Pamela replied, then took a sip of her own tea. Ahh...tea, earl grey, hot. Just like the captain.

"Do you know when the next eviction vote goes up?" She asked after a bit.

"Yeah somtime this wekend." Violet siad.

"Oh, okay," Pamela said. "I hope I stay off the list," she mused. "I've done the majority of the challenges. I got some exemptions. There were a couple I missed, though."
