HEBB 2 : Kitchen

Caro stopped piling food in poor Kaylee's arms, and stared down at Gemma, holding a wood ladle in her hand, as she raised an eyebrow at the girl.

"Dear girl, just WHAT are you doing?" she questioned as calmly as she could. Her eyes slowly moved to the ice cream the girl had ate from, and her mouth formed a perfect 'o'. "That would be the rum ice cream. Taste good?" she asked nervously. "Oh, I suppose not..." she muttered, as Gemma held her throat in pain. She reached for a Coca Cola in the fridge, and handed it to Gemma, smiling a bit. "You know, whenever I'm in the kitchen, never ever eat anything unless you're sure of what it is," Caro adviced.

Caro grinned back, and clapped her hands together, while jumping up and down.

"Just the kinda girl I was lookin' for, aye!" she cheered, and skipped to a cupboard on the other side. "I swear I hid some rum over here during last HEBB... I could have sworn I-- AHA!" she said, and stood up while waving around two bottles. "Looooooookie!" Caro said happily, and handed the other to Gemma. "Just don't let Big Bro see ya - not that he will mind, he'll just want his share. You know, last year - LAST YEAR! - I had a bottle signed by Captain Jack Sparrow himself, that I did!" she mused, and opened her bottle. "Cheers, mate!" Caro said loudly, and took a laaaaaaaaaaaarge sip.

After finishing her sandwich, Pamela cleaned up the dishes she had used. Then she walked out the kitchen to continue her exploring.

"Oh yes, we should cook together!" Caro said and nodded excitedly. "We could make a whole dinner thingymabob of rum and chocolate alone! AND ICE CREAM!!!!! Dude, I know rum, all right? And believe me, you can use it to anything, anywhere, anytime - and it's always goooooood!" she chatted on, waving her hand nonchalantly, as Pamela passed her to wash her dishes.

"Welcome all new people." Chris said.

Once again, Caro found herself blink in confusion. She raised her eyebrows at Gemma, and let out a very un-graceful snort, as she jumped up on the counter, taking the bowl with rum/ice cream in her lap and started to shovel it in her mouth.

"You know, I take that as an insult, dude," she told Gemma, her mouth filled with food. "Not all blondes act like that - that's like totally hair racism!" Caro pointed out, waving her spoon with a grin.

Spinning around and around, she lost her balance and flew off the rotating chair. "My head." she moaned and waited until the world stopped spinning. Standing up she watched as the other members her eating ice cream! "Whoo! ice-cream!" she shouted and grabbed a whole carton of strawberry ice-cream.

Pamela walked into the kitchen and began pulling out all her ingredients: chicken broth, flour, salt, and eggs. Then she measuring the flour. Cracking each egg individually into a little cup, she added them one by one, then began to mix them with her hands--after washing them, of course. It was gross, but it was the easiest way for her to do it. "Hi, Elana! If you want you could check and see if there are rolls somewhere that we could bake up, although I wouldn't put them in the oven just yet," Pamela suggested before continuing her mixing.

Dragon paused in mid-scoop for her ice cream and went to the fridge and pulled out some flour, eggs, and milk. Calling to Pamela who was kind of in charge of the feast she said, "Hey, can I bake some thing?"

"Hm..I was thinking of baking something. Who here actually likes muffins? Chocolate cake?" she asked the group. "What are you making Kim?"

"Make whatever you want!" Pamela said. "Maybe if someone is available who doesn't want to cook, they can put together a menu," she added. Pamela thought it would be a good idea to have an idea what was being prepared so the meal came together well.

Pamela had already kneeded, rolled, and cut her noodles. Now she just needed to let them dry for a bit. While she was waiting, she looked through the pantry and found some corn and green beans. She began opening the cans and draining them adding them to separate pans.

Sarah walked into the kitchen to see everyone hard at work cooking, though she wasnt much of a cook so squeezed past them all and grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and sat down at the table

Caro watched people mingle around, and slowly got down form the counter, hugging her rum bottle close to her. She tip-toed out from the kitchen, but not before handing a third rum bottle to Gemma, and waved to Elana, who had just entered the kitchen.

With that, she was gone.

"OUT OF THE WAAAAAY!", Cris yelled as she skated into the kitchen on some roller blades she'd just bought before coming into the Big Brother house, as a substitute for ice-skating. However, she didn't yet feel in control of those things on her feet, especially when it came to braking and thus had to warn everyone, before mastering a full-force-frontal crash with the bar.

"Ow, ow, ow!", she complained rubbing her ribs, that had gotten most of the blow. For the moment, she felt it wold be safer if she didn't try any more tricks and sat down on one of the bar stools. She then only realised some people might have wondered about her sudden appearance and smiled, introducing herself - "Hi, everyone, I'm Cris, in case we don't know each other yet!"

Shadow walked in quietly, the hood on her cloak pulled low over her face. Her heart sank slightly as she looked at the crowd now gathered in the kitchen, but walked over to them anyway.
"Can I help with something?" She asked quietly.

"Hey ... youuuuuuu!", Cris said to the newcomers, laughing heartily and stood up to go and shake their hands, introduce herself and find out who they were. As she slipped off the high bar stool, however, she didn't land right and her roller blade-equipped feet just rolled away into opposite directions and she fell directly onto the floor.

"Erm, hi!", she greeted from the floor, smiling to hide her embarrassment.

Shadow looked downwards to see Cris lying on the floor.
"Do you know how to steer those?" She asked sarcastically, "Hello."

"Do you know how to steer those?", one of the newcomers, a girl she faintly remembered to have the name of Shadow, asked. "Ehh well, to be honest, I prefer the ice version, I'm only a beginner on roller blades, you see.... and I usually don't do tricks like hopping down from a high bar stool anyhow on blades, so I might be excused, right?!".

She grinned broadly, looking straight at Shadow, hoping to make her smile back.

Shadow still looked down at Cris before holding out her hand to help the other girl back onto her feet.
"I suppose I can't say much, I don't do either."

"Ah, thanks!", Cris said taking Shadow's hand. Now that she was standing firmly on the ground again, it was about time to get rid of the roller blades. "You don't mind - ?", she asked and held onto Shadow's arm to get off her roller blades.

When she felt her feet free again, she was in a definitely better mood - and hungry from all the racing and falling. She ran to the fridge and stuck her head into it, wondering if there was anything she could quickly prepare.

Shadow stood still while Cris took her blades off and then walked over to the kettle, making a cup of tea.
"Anyone want some tea?" She asked.

Shadow nodded and searched the cupboards for a teapot. Once it was ready, she set it down on the table along with some mugs and a bottle of rum for Gemma. She poured some for herself and the other girl before sitting don, sipping her tea quietly.

"Hey, I'd love some tea!", Cris shouted over to Shadow, momentarily sticking her head out of the fridge, " - and is it okay if I take some of that rum?".

Then she turned towards Gemma, nodding. "Yeah, I want to prepare something, but I can only cook easy things, otherwise I might run into danger of destroying the kitchen! Or else, poisoning everybody, which also wouldn't be .. desirable.". Pondering a few more seconds, she grabbed a pack of sausages, which she intended to boil. "This is a about the level of my cooking skills." , she said staring at the sausages with a sad look on her face.

"You've been poisoned before?!", Cris asked Gemma incredulously. "Hm, I bet you'd get poisoned even worse from my cooking. You know ... green ears and all that.". She winked - it was hard to stay sad or even serious around Gemma, she found. "So... you really mean you can teach me how to cook? That would be awesome!", she exclaimed and jumped on Gemma, hugging her tightly. "I promise I'll be your worthy disciple, oh master!", she added grinning and threw the sausages back into the fridge.

"But first I'll need a break to take a sip of that wonderful rum tea," she said jokingly and sat down at the bar with a mug of tea-yummyness.

Violet walked into the kitchen. "Hello guys"She said.

Pamela walked into the kitchen. "Hi everyone," she said. Then she walked over to the fridge and pulled out some milk. Pouring a rather large glass she turned to Jessica. "Enjoying your stay so far?"

"Mines ok.Yalls.?"Violet asked, walking towards the bar.

Chris opened the fridge and took out another bottle of water.
